Arrgh! Jols I hope she sleeps better tonight for you. Is DP on board with helping to settle her?

Ellie - yes Miss J's bottom teeth come out over her top teeth. I think she does it deliberately too. I'm sure DD1 was like that as well and her teeth are normal now.

oh wow another new thread! I think we are the most chatty BB group on BB!

Olive- We have had a crap day here too. I cant do anything to make her happy. She is standing directly in front of the tv right now as I write this watching effing teletubbies at 11:15 at night! Oh well. At least she isnt whinging like she has been all day. I even gave her some sausage roll today at the shops just to shut her up as she kept on crying but its not even a real cry, its different like she just isnt happy. this too shall come to an end I HOPE! have you told DH how you have been feeling??

Kaz- Way to go J on getting a tooth!!! We are still waiting but they must be coming.

OP- I feel the same way as you at the moment. Jsut dont know whats happened and eerything is hard work. Not happy at nappy change or getting dressed, and when I put her in the carseat or pram, she stiffens her back and legs and has the biggest tantrum like its the end of the world!

Ellie- that is great about the pram.

Holly- no prob wont say anything on FB.

Nai- DD is going for her first swimming lesson on Sat morning. She will be a starfish! PMSL!! I think thats because literally, starfish cant do anything!

Oh dear, cant remember what else.

AFM- DD is going to Childcare as of 2nd Feb for 2 days a week. Its a good one and its LDC not that she will be in there all day but its good to have that option. Its expensive ($80 a day) but thats Sydney for you and with the rebate and CCB that should bring it down to a very reasonable price. I also like that they do a photo day book each day so you can see exactly what your child has been doing at teh end of the day. I am quite excited about it.

Couldnt believe it yesterday when I had mothers group at my house, DP's mum rocks up when I told her I was busy and had mothers group!!!!! So embarrassing and rude. She said to me well I was in the area anyway so thought I would come round!!!! Looks like she's gone back to her old ways.

DD is pullong up on everything now. ITs the new thing that she is obsessed with. Nothing is too much of a challenge it seems!!! Much to my distress. Oh and it is so cute how carefully she tries to sit down from standing. Such slow motion! Bless!

ARM DH just left for 4 days, ive had next to no sleep.
M's new thing to to sit down and throw her self back, great when there is nothing behind your head to bang it on oh well she'll learn! last night she was in the bath, i was telling her no when she splashed, she looked at me shook her head and said nooooooooooo

Ali - yay on the swimming - I hope she loves it! With sleep they often stop sleeping when they are going through a big developmental leap so if she starting to stand that might be it, or teeth It's always guessing with kids!

Jols - I hope you get some sleep out of Millie today. LOL at Nooooo

AFU - another good night. We took the girls out for dinner so they didn't get to bed until 8.30 and Miss J slept through until 6.45am. She was on the floor in the kitchen and helped herself to a nectarine from the fruit bowl stand and proceeded to eat the entire thing (excpt the stone of course)!

Ali, L does exactly the same thing re stiffening up when putting him in pram, rolling around and kicking when hanging nappy, etc! Hope A likes swimming. How annoying of your mil! When I had MG here one time, my cousin aunty and uncle called saying they were planning on coming around. I politely told them to come later after MG and they got all blah and ****ty about it like I was being rude or something and then my cousin later told my mum she thought I was making too much of a big deal about hosting MG and I was weird for not wanting them here!! WTF?? NO I don't want you here when I only have enough food for our group, babies are crawling around, the house is full enough and I want to be able to concentrate on my guests, not making chitchat with my bloody inconsiderate family! Sorry for rant, but I totally understand you

Olive, hope it's just a short-lived phase and you start to get more sleep soon

Nai, lol at J eating the whole nectarine! How do you find going out for dinner with the girls? I really can't relax taking L. We went out for lunch yesterday and we all had to take it in turns holding L because he wouldn't sit in the high chair or eat his food. That reminds me...I'm pretty upset at mil who was at lunch...she offered to feed L some mash potato and didn't even blow it, just gave it to him. Of course he cried because it was bloody hot and had just been served!! Seriously...who does that?? Poor L burnt his mouth I hate picking at things she does, I really like her, but she is so vague and blase about everything and just careless

OP, yeah I am very lucky that Mum can bring L into work. Although, a bit worried how we will coordinate it. Like what if he is asleep at home, should she wake him and bring him to me, or just give him formula when he wakes and I can just express for that day?? I will just keep the pump at work jic. So yes...things to consider...!

Sorry can't remember what else ws said. Hi to everyone else.

Going to go print some photos today to start filling the albums. The last lot I printed was of L at 12 weeks! Have 7 months worth of photos to print lol

Have a good day and weekend if I don't get back in! xox

    Hi girls,

Well I am feeling a bit more refreshed. DD went back to sleep at 9am so DP and I went back to bed and we all slept until midday! We def needed it after a week of awful sleep! We also went to the park today. DD loves the swing. So cute!!

Jols- Oh no on the NO word!!!! I bet that spun you out!. I have been saying naughty as it might be harder for her to say back to me! LOL! She cracks it every time that I tell her off about something. I really hope the girls are good for youwhile DH is away. Can you have some friends over? I often find that DD is so much more occupied and less of a problem when she has friends over. I must be boring!

Nai- YAY for another good night! That is so cute about the nectarine. J is such a beauty and sounds like a character. I am looking forward to getting some good tips at swimming lessons (well DP is taking her in the water) so we can use them when we go swimming at my dads house.

Holly- Its funny that family dont think mothers group isnt important...they just dont get it. I love my mothers group and they help me out so much so the time I spend with them means alot. Even though all their babies are older than DD (by next week they would have all turned one) they still welcomed DD and me into the group as I found my original group was clicky. MIL has tried to invite herself round again on Monday. I am thiking of going out! LOL! I know what you mean about not picking at things with MIL's but sometimes you need to vent so all good. I do appreciate the things she does and know she cares so much for DD but sometimes I think she needs to jsut watch her boundaries IYKWIM.

OP- good luck at going back to work. Let us know how you go when you tell tehm you are expecting again.

Kaz- Are you still going to the meet up in Sydney next Friday? I am so excited if you are. Cant wait for A and J to play together!!! And to meet you of course

Oh my gosh you girls talk alot!! I just read it all and now I have no idea what I've just read pmsl.

needed for all I think for the crappy sleep.

special for Jols, sounds like it's particularly tough there atm

    Yay Holly on the house.

OMG wtf else did I read?? No idea, lol, sorry girls!

Walking is the new crawling here, DD prefers to walk around everywhere holding onto the walls now instead of crawling.

Heaven- its amazing how they like to do their new little tricks!
Meg- ouch! The owrst thing is when You say ouch to them or something they think it is funny because they are getting a reaction from you. Arrr so annoying. DD has a thing that when DP has his shirt off she automatically gives him a nipple cripple!
Olive- How did bedtime go for you tonight? are you having a glass of wine??

AFM- so far so good. Went down at 7:30pm and still asleep. Had a gf over tonight for dinner and it was lovely to chat and have dinner with someone as I am normally on my own. Hope the night goes well for everyone

Olive - I don't know what to suggest.

We had a wake up at 3am but she resettled and woke at 5.30 but wouldn't resettle so she was up from then until 9 when she went down for her morning sleep.
