    Yay Holly!

Olive - I too don't know what I can say that will help.

E is starting to drop her afternoon sleep and jsut move to one sleep. Yest she woke at 12pm and I tried to put her down for an arvo sleep, but she refused. so she was up for 7 hours! (this is not unusual. she is doing it more and more) Today she got up at 6am, and went down at 11am.

Is anyone sick of people facebooking what your bra colour is? they claim it helps breast cancer awareness. it actually upsets me, as it doesn't help breast cancer awareness whatsoever. You would be better to donate money. Mu mum is a survivor from 2004 and my aunt just finished Chemo early last year. When I wrote on a friends status, the explanation of what it is, one of her friends wrote back saying something on the lines of - you wouldn't know what it was like until you know a survivor - my gosh - I have lived breast cancer for the past 5 years!!! - Ok sorry to get on my high horse here! I will get off now.

Meg- I would be annoyed with that comment too! I been wanting career change too, I'm sick of nursing, sick of shift work and working weekends and public holidays. I admit it is very handy with young kids but once they're in school think I want a mon to Fri type job. Was thinkning of teaching primary school. If you have a degree already you prolly won't have to do too much study to get into something else.

Holly- Yay on the house! I saw the pics on FB very nice! When do you move in? Hope he slept 7hrs for you again.

Olive- Em is usually up for 2.5 to 3hrs then sleeps for 1.5hrs twice a day. Soooo different to Ash, i reakon Ash was on 1 sleep at this stage. was last night better?

Ali- Thats great you got her into CC, I've had Ash down since Feb last year for a day and still can't get in! $80 isn't too bad, around her people are paying up near $90 at some places!

OP- Good luck for work tomor! Hope it goes ok.

Well my first 2 days back at work went really well. Its funny, after I went back after having Ash i cried like I was abandoning her or something, this time round it was like woohoo a break from home, lol. Money will be nice and I work with great people.
my boss is leaving so we had going away party for her Friday night. So Df got to spend alot time with the girls. Tho he reakoned my job was easy and the girls never cried or carried on with him (even tho he was grumpy everytime I spoke to him) so I told him he could be a SAHD if he thought it was so easy, he quickly said no to that. And he didn't do all that much around the house so god knows what he was so grumpy about!
Think tooth #2 is on the way too!

Hey girls, got to be short. DS is having a very whingy afternoon! We had 10 wake ups last night. Thats right, 10 in 12 hours This tooth is evil.

    Shell
    - I'm glad going back to work was ok. I've been thinking of you the past couple of days. lol at the changed attitude from 1 to 2. Will remember that when it's my turn to go back!
Ali - So glad you got into CC hun. $80 sounds pricey to me - I think we'll pay about $55 a day out here. I know that includes food but not nappies. Maybe one of the benefits of country town? I am hoping to get there on Friday! I was just thinking this morning how good it will be to meet you and Miss A!! Hopefully J's tooth will have settled by then and he will be back to the normal wake ups overnight. I'm wrecked.
Olive - hun. We sound like we're having similar sleep issues although most of mine are at night. First sleep cycle of the day, DS is up for only 1-1.5 hours and down for up to 2 hours. After that he's usually awake 3+ hours, sometimes longer if we're out cause he will not sleep in the pram/stroller etc.
Holly - YAY on the house! (did I say that already?) and great news about L sleeping through. Go L!!!
Lilima - That comment is offensive - there aren't many people around who haven't been touched by cancer. Breast cancer is important, definitely but I think, so are all the others. I donate every month to the cancer council and have done for years.

Olive, sounds like you've been having a bit better time. Hope tonight is even better for you!!! Maybe some 1-1 mummy time was what she needed.

As for sleeps - we still have 2 every day, sometimes like you if she is awake early I think she'll need 3 but most days it doesn't happen. I wonder if we are trying to put her down for sleeps too early - normally we're putting her down around the 2hr mark and she just cracks the absolute sads!!! It is driving DH and me mad - we have left her to CIO twice today as we are just over it Bad parents... but nothing we tried would settle her, even the BB...

    So confusing and stressful!

Kaz - you poor thing, we cut #4 last night and it was a shocker - three hours of almost constant screaming. Here's hoping Mr J's comes through soon.

Shell - thanks! Sounds like your days have been going well - woo! I will try for your attitude tomorrow... like you, I will appreciate the money. Wish I worked with some nice people!! LOL at your DP with the SAHD stuff...

Meg - yes yes yes, I am so sick of that stuff! It wasn't even meant to be about cancer to begin with, it was just supposed to be a "fun game" the first seven times I got that message. The next 17 millions times I got it, it turned into a cancer thing... sigh!

    How's your sister??

Holly - wooooooooooo, yes I'd say that's a sleep through! How fantastic for you When's settlement on the new house?

    Hi to everyone else!!

I'm off to work tomorrow... trying to get everything sorted tonight before going to bed... waiting for nappies to dry (was it not hot enough to dry them today? Apparently not!)... bed soon... stress stress...

DD seems to vary what time she goes down , just to confuse me and vary up her day
but it seems to be that shes up for around 3-3.5hours today it was only 3 hours.

Good luck tomorrow OP - be thinking of you. for your sleep issues with DD. I've found the BB not working so good either of late. I'm scared about what it means when it won't work at all I noticed your new av in an old thread the other day - you look hot!!

Olive - We sound like we've got the same child!! Each day a little different and often better sleeps when out for shorter trips of 1-2 hours. We've had a much better night tonight - only one feed about an hour after he went down and haven't heard from him since. Its so random cause he only had a 40 min sleep this afternoon and was just as tired as yesterday and it's even more hot today, yet he sleeps??? (so far anyway....). Maybe the tooth is having a half-time break??

We've had a better day here too. No panadol so far today (first p-free day in about the last 4). How long can a tooth take to cut through? We can just see this one, and can feel it (it's so sharp!) but it doesn't seem to be coming up and he won't let me look for long enough to see closely whether it's cut through or not. I suspect not though.

Shell, glad you found work okay! Lol at dp not wanting to be a sahd - of course not!

Kaz, hope you have a better night tonight!!

Olive, glad M's sleeps were decent today, here's hoping she does a good night tonight! Re day sleeps...L's vary as well. He has 2 or 3 day sleeps that can be 20mins to an hour, usually averaging around 45mins though. He is up for about 3 hours before going back down.

OP, love the avvy! Thinking of you tomorrow and hope the nappies dry overnight.

AFU, it was my grandma's birthday today so we all went out for dinner (Chinese). L was very well behaved and sat in his pram and ate fried rice! He did start to get cranky after a while which is to be expected, so I took him for a walk around the block a few times and he fell asleep and I was able to get back to dinner and he slept the rest of the time until we got home (we walked home). Then he had some fruit from the pavlova for dessert and he enjoyed that with a bit of cream. So all in all, a good night!

Re the house: settlement in on the 9th of April, however, DP's mum who is funding it, is going to ask the realestate agent to extend the date until the end of April as she wants to reinvest her term deposit which ends at the end of this month (and where the house money is currently sitting) for another 3 months. Not sure if they will allow this, but would be good if they could as this means she'll have more $$ thanks to interest to cover stamp duty. Nonetheless, it will be sometime in April. So exciting!!

Also, last night L was pretty good, not as good as the previous night, but he slept without needed to suck on bbs as much as usual! Normally he needs to continually suck throughout the night as it makes him content I suppose, but it is such a drainer on me as I like my space and want to face the other way sometimes! At the moment he has been asleep for about an hour and a half without stirring or having bbs, so pretty impressive! Might be the start of something new and good?

Anyway, hope you all had a great weekend. Off to sleep now xox
