L's had a temp for more than 48 hours now. It's mainly been around 39.5C degrees but has gotten to 40C and then down to 38C...Just when I think it's getting better it shoots back up again. He's asleep now and dosed up so hopefully tomorrow he will be better.
Ali, I had no idea DD was weaning! She seems all grown up now. How are you feeling about it? That sucks about your difficult class. You teachers do an amazing job! Don't know how I would remain sane...re the new house...we are moving in in April. Mil has told us not to buy any furniture yet as her partner is sending a lot of stuff down (he lives in QLD and has a furniture removal business). Apparently he has stuff like a fridge, washing machine, lounge suite...I dunno...but who has that much spare furniture lying around?! Good for us though as we really can't afford anything at the moment.
Malyna ouuchh! Hope it's not too sore!
Det how is boof today? Glad DD is finally fully recovered! And nope haven't heard of the playgroups either
OP, wow you certainly are busy! Have a great day tomrrow!
Nai, happy birthday to your girlies! Saw the pics - very cute When L is better I think I'm going to try and do the one long afternoon sleep like DD2 does too. It worked really well for us...the one time he's done it!
Olive, you sound like me...all I've done about L's party is send out invites and planned (in my head!) what food I'm going to make/prepare. Mum's insisting we make the cake after the rude shock we got when we bought my 21st cake (they are so expensive...!) so great...there's another task (gotta do a trial one first). Gotta clean the house - I mean serious cleaning. Mum is renovating, the place is a bloody construction site, there's plaster stuck to the floors, drop sheets over furniture, dust on every exposed surface, debris everywhere and random house stuff/furniture has been moved around to wherever is out of the way of the tradies (the treadmill is in the hallway!). The kitchen is going to be ripped out next, so I'm just hoping the cabinetmaker starts after the party
Arghhh anyway, enough ranting and raving. Hi to everyone else. Random question... but those of you with just the one bub - do you reckon $150 a week on groceries for the 3 of you is expensive?? That doesn't include meat (I'm a vegetarian).
