Shell- OMG about you nephew how scary, keep us posted, will be thinking of you & the family...I think your right about the reflux irritating his throat, I haven't offically been told he has reflux but my gut instinct is that he has suffered from it midly from the word go.

Kaz- What area R u from?? I'm sure it's not whooping cough but now I'm scared??? What r the other symptoms. Don't want to google it as I'm not up for horror stories tonight.....Lewis is his normal happy self and no other symptoms does not seem to cough at all when he sleeps, bubbly and alert like normal, poo's fine, feeds fine...even did a big boy laugh today was really cute!!!

    Hi- Rainbow and everybody else!!!

Shell- I am thinking of you and your family. I am hoping little Emily and your nephew are going to be okay. It must be such a stressful time for you all.

Kaz- Oh no on the WC! Hope it stays away from you guys.

Jols- glad you survived the outlaws.

Det- good to hear DS is loving his tucker!

Nai- are you doing solids with J now she has teeth? I have no idea about all this solid stuff. I have noticed DD watching me when I eat now.... so strange.

Heaven- I think DD is teething too. We are eating fists here and anything else in reach and the drool is ridiculous. Her one-sie today was saturated all around the chest area!!!! I might have to get some Brauwers stuff you were talking about.

Pinny- for platinum! We will get to see an avvy for you soon!

    RR- glad you are back

    Cant remember what else.

AFM- Well I did get into bed by 9pm the other night and had some decent sleep up until midnight, then my OTHER child came out for a feeding frenzy through the early hours!! I was zonked. DP took Ashlyn off my hands at 8am yesterday morning and gave me a bit of a sleep in (FINALLY) and I stayed in bed until 10am! We then went to this 20-20 cricket DP has been playing and Guy Sebastian was in his team as a fill in! Funny! Actually a good cricketer! Last night was a good night for us. Down at 6:30pm, fed at 12:30am then 5:30am then 8am! SO I got 2 and a half massive chunks of sleep! Felt so good today!

    girls!

    hey girls
note to you all- big growth spurt at 5 months!!! Feeding frenzy all nite last nite. Boof slept, but woke every couple of hours for a feed!! Today he ate two bowlsful of rice cereal and for dinner a big bowl of h/made vegies and then h/made apple and mango! and then he had a feed straight after it! Was waiting for him to pop or chuck it back up as it was so much food, but no he didnt waste a drop and is sound zzz in bed!!! WHOOT!
He has grown soo much in the last week- he just sqeezing to his generous size 00 suits as they are now too short- and bonds he is in size 1!

Heaven- you cant go wrong with the brauers as they are natural. You might find that the drops took the edge off her teeth pain so that is why she slept so much better. Those damm teeth drive everyone crazy!! Teething is crazy!!!

Pinny - congrats on the platium membership. A little while ago they had a random act of kindness day and OP, Ali and myself were given a membership as a gift! It was an awesome surprise- me thinks that one of our Belly Buddies was responsible- hmmm anyone want to own up???????? Love having an avvy! cant wait to see yours!
I have been giving boof some of the Rafferty's garden range of sachets, so that i can see what food he likes etc. He likes everything so now we have started making some (actually DH makes it- he is a chef) He made some pumpkin, potato and sweet potato mash tonite and an apple and mango mush as well- he loved them. He has eaten rice cereal, wholegrain bannana porridge, apples, pear, mango, bannana, peas, spinach, sweetcorn, potato, punkin- no probs with any of them.

AJP- i am a pisces and you know how little sleep i get lol. Boof missed out on being a pisces and he is acqarian. We are wonderful people - us piscians! but hey i am not bias. I have a birth day sun sign book- should get it out and look up what it says about our babes! Glad your trip was good! Sounds like your iron is coming up- how far off normal is it now?

Shell- hope u/sound goes fine tommorow. Good to get on top of it when she is early and get some peace of mind as well. Thinking of you guys for tommorow. How your newphew is ok- that sounds really scary! Hugs hun.
My parents would have been together 41 years this year.

tarkaine- i can never remember what day of the week it is esp on school hols. lol. A funny story- when the twins were born was just around the time sudam hussain went into hiding- when he was finally found and the world was going crazy over the news- i didnt - as i didnt even know he was missing- oops somehow i missed that bit of important world affairs! Your brain will retun to somewhere near its normal self in the next 3-5 years lol !!

Hey to RR, OP, Meggie and Kaz!!
    take care

Det - looking forward to when my brain returns to normal - although it wasn't that great beforehand.. reminds me of when I was on the IVF drugs - little miss goldfish - 3 second memory! Wow 41 years.. that's pretty darn good.

Pinny - way to go with the plat membership!

AFM - why on earth did I get up at 5.30am!!?? Alex woke, and I fed him, he went back to sleep pretty quickly and I've been sitting up writing.. I'm soo p!ssed off at the moment.. argh!! Has nothing to do with DH's contract ending today.. I'm just ropable in general..
    everyone.

Tarkine - I'm with you this morning, I have been up since before 6am as Miss J slept from 9.30 - 4.30, had a feed and went back to sleep but woke at 5.50am doing a huge poo and a projectile vomit She seems fine now though so hope she isn't sick. It's probably all the saliva she's swallowing!

Ali - I won't give Miss J solids yet. I will hold off until about 6 months. She's not ready and the later the better as far as I'm concerned (I am too lazy to cook and mash special food ). Also DD1 has a peanut allergy and had an egg allergy which she has grown out of so I am waiting as long as I can. The MHCN said to start her on rice cereal just before her 6 month check which is what I will probably do - however I will have to keep a close eye on DD1 as I have a sneaking suspicion she will try to "share" her food before then.

Pinny - yay on your platinum membership! It is very exciting - I loved getting my avatar made up.

Kaz - hope WC stays away from you. Apparently bubs aren't fully immune until they have the 3rd vax at 6 months. You can also get a top up vax for yourself.

Shell - hope your nephew is ok and glad you are getting the u/s for A's hips. It's better to get it all checked out this early so that something can be done. FWIW my friend had this as a baby and she had a cast. She's in her 30's now and completely fine.

Jols - glad you had a good time and the drive was ok. We are driving over to Adelaide at Christmas with the kids and I am dreading that!! We might have to do some long-ish trips before then as practice. DD1 is already starting the "are we there yet?" business

Det - Levi sounds like he is going great guns. I know what you mean about not knowing what day of the week it is! I only know because I check the Age online each day

Hi everyone, sorry for being such a slack poster. Have been crazy busy with putting the house on the market, trying to find a new house, rewriting my book and mothering. We're off down to the beach for 10 days while the house gets done up by tradies.

Sleepy vibes to all your babies!

AJP- Its not gonna be long til they are all on the move. The time has flown, this time round feels so much faster than when Ash was this age.

mhami- Enjoy the break, hopefully everything goes well with the selling, are you looking to buy yet?

Pinny- how is your DD? Does she have an ear infection? Makes things alot easier when they can tell you whats wrong.

Det- I can see why you call him boof! Wow!

Well Emilys ultrasound seems to be ok. The left hip was borderline and the technician had to go speak to a Dr there but when she came back she said Emily passes, its above the borderline, no signs of dislocation just the coverage of the ball and socket could be better. But she added as they grow it'll only improve not worsen. So thats a relief.

As for our poor nephew they're not sure what the prob is yet, he had scope from top end which showed nothing, couldn't see from bottom end cause still full poo. Had some other tests doen today and tomor and if still no answers they'll look up his bottom end. Poor thing apparantly he lost so much blood, he was having a blood transfusion and he also collapsed couple times, very scary for my SIL, she said she seriously thought he was dying when he collapsed.

Shell- So glad the U'S went well, what great news that it will only improve, must be a huge relief!! My thoughts are with you for your nephew must be a scary time for you especially his parents!!

AJP--Commando Crawl.......AHHH not yet please they are still our babies...I don't want them to grow as quickly as they are. Tell her "Lewis mummy said not yet thankyou very much"!!

Nai- Hope bubba girl is ok...Any more sickies??

Mhami- Enjoy the braek away, hopefully you get to relax

Tarkine- Hope you had fun at the movies....I must do that soon or the opportunity will be missed.

Took Abbey to Dr's all is fine, her ears are a bit pink, but need to keep and eye on her for the next few days to make sure she doesn't get worse, she has got a croaky voice and sounds so funny when she talks, i almost think there is another kid in the house.
Lewis great no signs of illness so very happy about that. No coughing today either.. I gave him a little bit of EBM this evening coz I had some in the fridge from the other day, gulped it down no worries and cried when it was all gone...had to stick him on the boob to comfort him...Hoping for another great night with Lewis and have tried to bribe DD to stay in her bed all night, hoping it works!!

AJP- Going to sound really weird but bandaids actually.... she just loves them and she used the second last one tonight for a small scratch that you need a microscope to see it with...she alomost cried when she saw the packet was empty....so I saw it as my opportunity to bribe and said"If you sleep in your bed all night...I'll ask Daddy to bring some more bandaids home tomorrow" seemed to work but we will see. They are Barbie bandaids and she just loves them. I know bribing isn''t the best parenting skill in the world but I would just jove some uninterupted sleep at some stage this year, I'm so sick of cat napping.
