OP- Yeah you gotta do what works for you, sounds like you're onto it if she is sleeping better, we haven't started solids yet so can't answer there but their weight will always go up and down a bit depending on growth spurts.
Meg- Those moments are great and we need them to remind ourselves when they are having bad moments.
mhami- good luck with it all, what a pita having to keep it neat and tidy our place stays tidy for all of 5 minutes.
Nai- how is she today? Any more teeth?
Emily's day sleeps seem to be getting less and less each day. Not sure whats up but she isn't having a good week, won't sleep longer than 30mins and not wanting to settle.
OP - solids already!? wow.. I'll have to try Alex on them.. when I get myself organised enough.. I used to be really uber organised.. now I'm lucky if I get Alex bathed - how tragic is that!!
Shell - how is Emily's night time sleeping going?
Nai - I can't believe bubs has teeth already! I talk to Alex about it, and tell him that Miss J has teeth, and she's so close in birthdays, but nothing happens - me thinking it is because he's a boy and just being awkward
op their weight starts to plateau around this age, weight increases get smaller (except my boofa this month) i wouldnt worry as long as she has milk before solids!!

sorry i've been MIA lately!
jimmy has been sooo sick- i ended up down at the emergency dept at the hospital (angliss) with him all day on tuesday. he has bronchiolitis and is basically not sleeping at all. i was awake all night tues/wed night. i feel sooo crap!!!!!
what a great hospital btw- they were so thorough and the dr even rang me thenext day to check up on him. kinda made me wish i'd had my babies there! lol- i know you did jols, how did you find it?
i had jimmy weighed the other day- he's 7.6kg. i'm not sure if that's average or what? about how much does everyone else weigh?
megie- that moment you described was gorgeous, i love having little moments like that with my babies. gorgeous!

i loved the angliss, they were fantastic for the birth and after care, seriously couldnt fault them, had some absolutly awesome midwives!! iv been to emergency too with millie and they were great too!!

meg i had one of your 'moments' last night too! millie fell asleep on the boob, something she hasnt done sice really really little! was so nice, i didnt want to put her back to bed!!

OP - Good to hear from you! Have a great time in Cairns - I am sooo jealous! We haven't started solids yet but I do know of people who have had babies drop down the percentiles after starting solids. DD1 didn't but she was always in the 10th-20th percentiles for weight the whole way through and she is still a skinny thing (like her Daddy obviously)
Rainy - How scary! I hope he is on the mend now. Miss J was 5.8kg at 4m so I am guessing she is now about 6.2 - 6.5kg but she is quite little (not as little as DD1 though). Miss J has 2 teeth now - her 2 bottom ones. I can't see any more coming yet but I will be keeping an eye out for them!
Megie - Those moments are just precious. I love looking at Miss J feeding and have her look up at me and smile.
AFM - Miss J started at Childcare yesterday Of course as she isn't taking the bottle I had to keep popping in to BF her every few hours Fortunately CC is a 2 min walk from home. I will be starting to do some swimming teaching soon so she will be going in for a few hours a week while I do that. I am heading off to the beach with 2 girlfriends and their babies this weekend so I won't be around. I am leaving DD1 at home with DP. They said I could bring her but I said no as that would mean I wouldn't get any rest at all and DP would have a lovely holiday which is not the purpose of the weekend at all!!!
nai i can walk!! im sore, not as sore as i thought id be, though DH says its worse on day 2, so no doubt i will be worse tomorrow!! im not in the team, playing the later games!

well im off soon to have my eyebrows waxed and hair cut and coloured! mum is looking after the girls! i think im getting another cold, not happy! so have some oils buring to hopefully unblock my nose!
Nai - Hopefully she will start to take the bottle soon. I agree about leaving DD1 at home, otherwise it really isn't a holiday.
Rainy - I really hope he improves soon. I hope there is someone around that can give you a bit of a break.
I am mega tired today. J didn't go to sleep till 10pm last night - What's with that!!?? No day sleep for him if he keeps it up.
Then E woke at 1:30, but resettled on her own, then she woke at 4 for a feed. After her feed, she lay in her cot "singing" for at least half an hour. Then she woke at 6 siging again, I ignored her again, and she went back to sleep till 8:30. J woke at 7 and climbed in with me. So although they really weren't too bad, and I had no crying etc, I am tired as I didn't get more than 3 hours or unbroken sleep at a time.
It's my birthday tomorrow. 33 - I feel like I am about 50 though! I am going to my mums overnight, then Sunday we are going to Sassafras for afternoon tea. Can any Melb girls suggest anywhere nice up there? I now Miss marples, but it is always so crowded.
