Good idea Megie!!

Age- 5 months, 8 days
Weight - he was 7.388kg when he was weighed almost 2 weeks ago
Solids - Nope, fully breastfed still, although my whole family keep pestering me telling me that he's ready!! Will start in a couple of weeks I think :)
Sleeping - What's that?!!?! LOL very poor. Wakes up umpteen times during the night. During the day he will have 3-4 sleeps though, ranging from 30mins-1h30mins. The shorter one is in the evening.
Bedtime - Whenever!
Up in the morning - 7-7:30am
Wrapped - No
Co Sleep - Reluctantly. I give in as he just won't have a bar of his cot overnight for some reason.
Sitting up - Nope.
Rolling - Has rolled tummy to back once a couple of weeks ago.
Teeth- Lumpy gums but no teeth have surfaced yet. Shouldn't be long I think!

Anyway, must keep this short. SO much uni work to do. Can't remember who asked...I'm studying psychology, 2nd year, hoping to specialise in neuropsychology later on if I get into honours!

My sister handed herself in for breach of bail, so she is in remand atm. She said she wanted to get locked up to save her from herself or hurting others...crazy but sad :( She is a troubled soul! Waiting to see how sentencing goes on Thursday, not good I imagine.

I am hosting mothers group tomorrow, so gotta go clean and get uni work out of the way!

Heaven - are you going to do a doctorate or start practicing soon?? Wow, I'm in awe - I'm finding it very hard to stay motivated with all the research design & analysis stuff!

Fingers crossed our bubbas start sleeping better. It's weird, L sleeps in his cot during the day, but at night he won't and just wants to be with me! I think I have to break this feeding to sleep association. He uses me as a dummy, wakes up & wants to suck to get back to sleep :doh:

Okay, got sidetracked again...cleaning time!

Age- 5 months 2 weeks
Weight - was 6.9kg at 5 months
Solids - nope will wait til shes 6 months
Sleeping -night is great, days vary usually 4 sleeps of 45-60 mins but having some days of up to 2.5 hrs, been self settling after first sleep cycle on some days, though can take up to 30 mins, i can tell if she's going to go back to sleep most times so i leave her, other times i know she wont!
wake-ups- usually only once, but has been waking before i go to sleep for a feed the past two nights
Bedtime - between 6.45 and 7pm up around 7am
Wrapped- always
Sitting up - for a few seconds
Rolling - tummy to back but not very often
Teeth- none

There's a few of us in here - I studied psych and did neuropsych in 3rd year but then did Grad Dip in Adolescent & Child Psych. I then did Post Grad in Management Psych and Masters in HR so I moved to the business side of things.

Age- 5 months 2 weeks
Weight - was 6.5kg at 5 m 1w (I think she's the light weight in this group!)
Solids - started last week. Currently eating rice cereal, sweet potato, apple & pear
Sleeping - has started self settling so can be put to bed awake and will go to sleep alone. Is normally sleeping 7pm - 4am and then to 7am. Has 3-4 day sleeps depending on length. Now sleeping in portacot next to our bed as has outgrown bassinette.
Bedtime - between 6.45 and 7pm up around 7am
Wrapped- only at night and then from the armpits down
Sitting up - for a few seconds
Rolling - both ways but not often. Usually when naked
Teeth- 2 bottom teeth at 4m

Age- 5mths and 2 weeks
Weight - almost 7kg (can't remember the exact weight at the 5mth mark).
Solids - has been fed a creamy pumpkin soup by a GF and bechamel sauce by DH. I tried pumpkin and potato and he wasn't interested.
Sleeping - last night in cot at 9pm, woke at 2am (when I got to bed), up at 6.30am then two naps about 1hr each since.
Bedtime - anywhere between 8pm and midnight - but it usually takes me holding him for 1-1.5hrs before he's ready to go into the cot.
Up in the morning - anywhere between 6am and 10am (I know!)
Wrapped - definitely
Co Sleep - Sometimes but he gets cranky and likes his own bed - neither of us sleep well when we co-sleep (Alex gets too distracted by the boob!)
Sitting up - yes but if I sit him up and varying lengths of time before he crashes and burns
Rolling - Tummy to back, BUT only when I'm not looking. Its ok if DH is there.
Teeth- Not yet, but red cheeks and loads of dribbling.


Sorry have taken all my time trying to remember the answers to the questions (fab idea meg).. got a cranky baby and DH is out. He goes back to work tomorrow, which is a good thing coz he's getting under my feet.. got cranky baby.. gotta go.

Hey girls
still here- just going through the 6 month growth spurt ATM- feeding 2 hourly round the clock AGAIN! Ho hum


Age- 6 months exactly today!!! AWWWW
Weight - we weighed him on our scales last nite as he was 10kg!!!! Official weigh in on tuesday
Solids - 2 meals a day- rice cereal and fruit for brunch and vegies,meat and fruit for dinner. He is a guts
Sleeping - Not through- but we usually get a 6 hour stretch somewhere throughout the nite.
Bedtime - i start trying to get him down around 7ish but he wakes and feeds till at least midnite- usually later and then has a big sleep.
Up in the morning - between 7.30 and 8.30am- damm school drop off. He goes straight back to sleep after drop off so its not his choice to be woken when he does
Wrapped - not since 4 months- houdini here
Co Sleep - If i am desparate for sleep- when he does he feeds ALL NITE LONG! like a kid in a candy store i reckon when we co-sleep- he usually ends up in with us most nites for a bit- esp early morning.
Sitting up - yes but still dont trust him to sit up by himself. Cause of his size he falls hard lol
Rolling - He has done it a couple of times to prove he can, but i think he sees it as pointless and hasnt wanted to again. He gets what he wants by shuffling on his back and kicking his legs till he moves. Pulls his legs up on his tummy to move that way as wel.
Teeth- Not yet, but red cheeks and loads of dribbling.

ATM boof is in his jumperoo laughing at my twin killing each other- i am pretending that they are not there lol - i figure no tears- no need to interfere- OOPS tears as i am typing - ah well!
BTW had to pack up all boofs 00 singlet suits yesterday- so sad- they were strangling him. my boy is getting big!

Sleeping -Great day time sleeper has 2-3 hour blocks and self settles but likes to co-sleep at night occasionally, gets up twice a night for feed if not co-sleeping...if co-sleeping it's boobie on tap all night!!!
Bedtime - around 7-7.30pm
Wrapped- one arm only, leave left one otu, trying to ween as he is rolling
Sitting up - for a few seconds
Rolling - both ways, but not when he is tired...and is super fats at it when naked!!
Teeth- none

Hi girls. Great idea to see what everyone is doing because I forget.

Age- almost 5 months
Weight - 7.2 kg at 4 months I think about 8Kg now. Will find out this week,
Solids - Tried rice cereal and apple but have stopped. We decided we are going to wait until 6mths now.
Sleeping -Great day time sleeper has 2-3 hour blocks twice a day and then lunchtime is normally 1 hour. Self settles when drowsy. Night time she sleeps from 7 until 12ish and then we co-sleeps from about 2:30am onwards. She wakes average of 3 times a night for feeds between 12 and 7:30am.
Bedtime - 6:30-7pm Gets up at 7:30am
Wrapped- all the time. Has a habit of getting one arm out but then wakes herself when it is out.
Sitting up - for a few seconds
Rolling - only from tummy to back not the other way.
Teeth- none

Age - 4 months, 3 weeks
Weight - 6.6kg
Solids - No. Fully bf.
Sleeping - Each day varies but he usually has 2 quite 'good' sleeps of 1 to 1.5 hours and occasionally longer. By 4pm, he will nap for 30mins at a time and prolly does this 2 or 3 times before going down for the night. He is generally pretty good at self settling in the cot (with dummy) during the day.
Bedtime - Is really varied. Anywhere from 8pm to 11pm. It's really hard to predict what he's going to do. Sometimes he needs a lot of settling and wind down time and other times he goes off pretty much straight away. He will wake 1-2 times for a feed in the night. Recently it's been back to once between 3-4am then he'll sleep another 3 hours then another 1-2.
Wrapped - Yes. Starting to think about weaning him off it though cause haven't seen the startle reflex. He's in a sleeping bag as well.
Sitting up - Not yet.
Rolling - Has only rolled once tummy to back but was following a toy I was holding. I think his big fat cloth bum is getting in the way. He prefers to kick his legs and pretend that he's swimming towards the toy target.
Teeth - Seems to be teething at the moment - hence the unsettled behaviour at night I think. Red cheeks, drool, flattened bottom gums, settles when given bonjella, chewing his dummy and generally taking any and all opportunities to whinge and whine.

On a side note, you'll never guess what I do for a living too!!! :lol: I haven't advertised it around BB because I don't want people to think I'm analysing them. I'll only do that for you if you pay me!! :rofl:

Holly - Neuropsych is just fascinating!! It's a long road ahead of you darl but its so very interesting.

Solids - rice cereal each morning and have tried pumpkin and carrot so far at lunch...slowly slowly
Sleeping - Up at 7am...day sleeps at around 9am, 12pm, 2pm...maybe an hour at the most...catnap just before dinner and bath...pop her in her cot or pram and she puts herself to sleep...has a bit of a cry while she's at it but gets there in about 10 mins.
Bedtime - 7pm
Wrapped- Just started trying a grobag but has been wrapped up to now.
Sitting up - for a few seconds
Rolling - front to back one way...back to front both left and right.
Teeth- none...but the way she's getting stuck into anything that she can get in her mouth makes me wonder!

Nah, I'm not doing a doctorate. It's basically the same as masters but with an extra yr and bigger thesis. So I could have changed to do that but decided not to, I bloody hate writing a thesis!! lol. And I'm not really into research at all so I didn't think I needed it. I don't think I'm going to work for a while now. I don't want to while DD is young and then I will probably have another baby so God knows what I'm going to do, LOL.

We are the opposite!! DD sleeps fine in her cot at night but won't in the day. Won't let me put her down!! And I need to break the rocking to sleep but it's so hard and I need more patience!!

ali with the 'getting the arm out' millie was doing the same so i found a way of wrapping so she cant!! when you out her on the wrap, the arm she gets out place beside her, bring that side of the wrap down and tuck it lightly under her bum, wrap her other arm as per normal, i hope that makes sense!!

kaz millie does the same, pretends to swim, its so cute!!

after saying millie isnt rolling much she rolled about 4times yesterday!

the house over the rd from us got robbed last night :o around 7.30pm, not sure how the cops know the exact time as they werent home :think: but scares me a little!

AJP - That's scary about your neighbour! The biggest deterents are *****ly bushes under windows, well lit entry ways and large or loud dogs in the backyard. Do you know if they got away with much?

Heaven - Are you currently registered in your state? Just contact your state registration board - they should have a website - and check what you need to do. Can I ask why you want to maintain your registration though if you're not planning to practice for a while? It'll just cost you money darl.

AFM - Rough night here. Jacob woke regularly - sometimes fed ok, sometimes just wanted to suck for 5 mins before falling back to sleep. Also, I couldn't get back to sleep twice for over an hour both times so I feel rotten this morning. I hope these teeth come through soon!

AJP- ooh.that's scary!!
Kaz- Yeah, it's way too expensive, I didn't pay my registration this yr so I'm not currently registered bc it's just a waste of money. But I just want to know what I have to do to keep up to date so it won't be too hard to get registered again in the future iykwim? Their website is crappy!! I guess I will actually have to contact them some time, lol.

All good here AJP - I only deal with adult male clients, very little experience with women or children!

Heaven - Yeah prolly just ring them. I'd guess it won't matter - you'll always be eligible to be registered but since you've not practiced there might be some kind of time limit on that which would be handy to know about.

AJP- I just like to analyse people without a degree! Lol, so I can analyse you too. Alot times I am right tho.
Usually when houses get robbed people have been watching them, do the neighbours often go out at the same time? Thats why I think sometimes good to be at home with the kids cause its unpredictable when we'll go out.

Heaven- I don't know if its similar to nursing but usually if we are out for 5 years we have to do a re registration course. Call them up sometime its easier to just keep up the rego. How much is yours a year, nurses have to pay $95 and Df who is teacher only has to pay $60.

Holly- How is your sister? Its so hard mental illnesses. Esp when its someone so close to you.

Looking at all those reports on bubs it feels like my bub is the only one who cat naps all day. She only on the odd occasion goes thru to another sleep cycle and usually involves me patting her.

Hi to everyone else. Will do personals later. But I am really ****ed off at the moment!

I hate work and I havent even gone back yet. I swear the DP at my school is such a ***** sometimes.

So not only did they change they yeargroup that I was supposed to go back on from kindy to year 1 (and I am going to now have to move all my stuff WHICH IS ALOT to a new classroom and teach a grade I have not taught before so have no programming for which means a truck load of out of hours work) but now they dont want me to work the days that I have DP's mum to look after Ash!

I am so annoyed. I have tried to be as flexible as I can with changing grades to suit them and they cant even do something for me!

I have made an emergency call to FDC in my area and am waiting to hear back with the availability of a carer for me to fit in wit days that "would suit school".

Sorry for the vent. I wis we could just afford for me not to work! :(

Ali - :hug: That is really sucky. I got shafted when I went beack to work after DD1 so I can totally empathise! What are the reasons they don't want you to work on the days that you have available? Is it worth talking to the union to help negotiate if they are being unreasonable? If they are really stuffing you around are there any other options like relief teaching?

AND the cats are actually happy because I've remembered to feed them canned food - LOL - told u I was tragic!
Up to 91,000 words on the book..put a twist into the plot so I'm re-writing it - going to be a slow process

Heaven, ikwym about fitting in a career and babies! My neighbour studied psych and is now a doctor of psychology and all in between her studies she had 3 babies, the youngest is now 1 and she's just started working. So it's taken her to be well into her thirties to be able to finish studying and start practicing! I'm thinking L will have to be an only child if I ever want to finish studying and have a career before I'm 30! If I had all the money in the world, no problem lol. I am definitely waiting until I've at least finished undergrad before I even think of having another one!

Just when I open my big fat mouth about L's decent day sleeps...well they're gone to crap. I thought the past 2 days it was just a lapse in the routine but today was worse! I can't even put him down in his cot during the day. As soon as his head hits the mattress he wakes up and cracks it. I pat him a bit and if there's no signs of settling I pick him up and give him boobie to calm him down and put him back to sleep. After about 30secs of pacifying on boobie, I detatch him, he sort of jolts and waves his arms around and tries to find it again, but most times he will settle back down. At this stage I'm still holding him close to me, he appears to be asleep, and I try and put him back in his cot...and he wake up again! :wall: I know I need to break the boobie/feeding to sleep association but it's what's keeping me sane at the moment. I'm pretty sure I'm just like a dummy to him. When he stirs in his sleep, he wants to suck and when he realises I'm not there he screams (just like dummy-dependent babies would if they had dropped their dummies!). At nights, we co sleep and he helps himself to boobie as he pleases. I am just too exhausted to keep persisting and putting him back in the cot and constantly resettling. I know that's probably what I have to keep doing and he'll eventually get the gist right?? How long/how many nights will it take?? I just want my sleep back!

Holly, I hear you on the co-sleeping, we don't do it every night but when i'm so tired, it is a god sent!! I too am a dummy on co sleeping nights...

Don't stress about it too much, just work on trying to settle him in to the cot during the day when your not so tired, then hopefully he will be easier to settle overnight....they won't be 21 and still co-sleeping with us, or at least I hope not:lol:

Holly :hug: WOW I can't believe ur studying with a baby.. that's impressive... I hear you with the co-sleeping.. its the only way I can get some sleep (although I find that I'm still pretty shattered after co-sleeping, but not as much if he was in his own cot)


AFM :cold: Got the flu coming on.... feeling like crap and DH wakes me up at 6.30am to ask me to get him panadine...:crying: and Alex slept thru the night.. wah!! Get DH to the doctors (even though I'm feeling dizzy and horrid) and he has gout in his foot.. so I'm busy :juggle: a baby and running around after him, and an ABS interview person comes around for an interview - coz our house has been chosen :rolleyes: and DH leans over and says "Make a coffee". I ignored him.
The doctor gave him some tablets to take away the flare up (which is caused by his drugs he's on) and I'm jsut having one of those ARGH days - tired of being the only one around the house who does anything, just feeling really bogged down today... Tomorrow will be a new day, and I'll be reset.. Maybe I should go and have a shower (haven't had time today)... Its so hard living with someone with a chronic illness.. man there are moments when I could just walk away..

sorry girls.. I'm just tired and grumpy and feeling blah. Good news Alex was rolling over today - little rabbit was making his way backwards and forwards.. he's just not going to stop now!

Yes we've been on the quiet side. I had a good birthday, thanks for the birthday wishes. Df took me out to dinner at the conservatory at crown, all you can eat. Stuffed ourselves with prawns and crab and yummy desserts. Had a pretty good day. Df met 60% of my expectation list which for him is an A+.

Tarkine- How you feeling? Hopefully on the mend. Whats an ABS interview?

Holly- I hope things work out for your sister, let us know how the sentencing goes, thats tomor isn't it? With L do what works, eventually you'll prolly get to a point where you say enough is enough and try break the cycle, not easy, we had major probs with Ash and sleep.

Ali- How is it with sorting out FDC? Could you go and have a sit down chat with the principle or whoever is in charge and explain your situation or do they just not care? What happens if you can't get into FDC? They'd have to make allowances for you wouldn't they? I can't believe they're not supportive, jobs should be of mums returing to work. Happy workers is alot better than bitter workers.

Emily been funny again today still grizzly, now not drinking much, she has had a cold I also wonder if she is teething, who ever knows with these bubs! Walks in the pram have saved my sanity, keeps her happy and content and even sleeps sometimes.

Shell - the ABS (aust bureau of statistics) interview was a series of questions about carers, illnesses etc.. Good thing DH was home because my interview took 5 minutes and his took the rest of the time, with all his illnesses etc.

Alex had his 6mth vaccinations today.. wouldn't even notice he'd had needles - he's been a little clingy today but that's it. Hoping he goes well over night.

millies doing great! i cant believe were heading to 6 months :o crazy crazy stuff, i find it a little hard seeing my gorgeous girl grow far too quickly but she's such a delight!! rolling lots now, wont be long and she'll be crawling :cry: nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo :lol:

im going to a mod meet up tomorrow which will be lovely! DH is working this weekend again :( i hate when he works the weekend. sophie starts swimming lessons int he pool by herself this week which is hard to believe. shes been swimming now for 2.5 yrs. she also got into the kinder group we really wanted for next year!!
millie had her second lesson last saturday and we've decided to put in a pool ;) seeing that she sleeps so well after!! loves the water, is happy to be put under, holds her breath already :o i have two water babes thats for sure!

Hi girls, it has been quiet. I have been lurking but a bit tired to post.

Sleep has deteriated really badly here. :( I am so tired. DP isnt really much help as he is rarely here and if he is well he is tired too.

Last night I put Ash down at 7, she woke at 8:30 and refused to go back to sleep even in my arms :o So after trying and trying and trying and trying, I ended up giving her another bath at 11:30 at night and got her to sleep after that.

I got absolutely nothing done last night, couldnt cook dinner, the sink is full of dishes, didnt get to shower, just feel behind on things now.

We have a uni student coming to stay with us for a month as of Saturday so I am trying to clean out the spare room. She is going to be paying $250 a week which is fantastic as it will be a masive help and I just have to cook her meals. The only downside is that DP wont be able to sleep in the spare room.

Went to a FDC place yesterday and it was really nice and the carer was great. SHe is actually a primary school teacher and has done a couple of TAFE courses in childcare as well. MIL is also looking at trying to do a Monday for me so that is good. I jsut cant believe I am going back to work in 3.5weeks!!!!

AJP - My girls love the water too. I have to get Miss J enrolled.

AFM - I got my hair done yesterday. 4 FREAKING hours!!! Miss J was trooper though. I also finished my swimming instructor stuff on the weekend so I can start teaching soon. Miss J is loving her solids!! She has also started sleeping through the night from 7pm to 6amWoot!!!

Holly- that's what DD does!! Jolts awake as soon as I try to put her down! Drives me insane. Have you read the no cry sleep solution? It tells you how to break the feeding to sleep thing.
AJP- it feels like they are growing up so quickly! I can't believe they'll be 6 months soon! It feels like DD is learning heaps of new stuff at the moment.

Well, DD just rolled from back to front!! She was after a toy, clever girl!! She has also recently discovered her feet and is always playing with them now, lol, it is soooooo cute when they do that. She is so loud too! Always yelling and squealing!! Her 2 little bottom teeth are growing every day and are so cute. Wow she's learning heaps so fast, maybe that's why sleep is so crappy atm.

Heaven, It really is tiring isnt it. I am thinking about the solids too and maybe going back to it and seeing if it makes a difference.

Ashlyn doesnt have any teeth yet but I was wondering if anyone else has felt a lump around the side of the bottom gum. Its like I can feel a lump or a tooth is just sitting there. Not sure how long she has had it.

Today has been no better. DD has been miserable. SO over tired but fighting sleep so much. Finally got her in her cot now asleep.

Hopefully the dogs or DP dont wake her. I managed to cook dinner this morning whih is good that I dont have to worry about that later.

Also went to my first weight watchers meeting today. THought I would do that. I got the monthly plan for $60 so have access to the online tools as well. I am hoping that having to face up and weigh in each week will get me into gear as I am so god for a week and then I ruin it and add more damage by eating crap.

Well we've had good news and bad here.
Good news is Emily rolled 3 times this morn back to tummy and finally got to see it myself on the 3rd go.
Bad news is FIL passed away last night. Its sad but also a blessing in a way as now he is in peace. Last time I saw him (mon) he just looked absolutely terrible. Thankfully he wasn't it pain, they were giving him regualr morphine but I think more cause he was getting bit agitated and restless.
Just trying to be supportive to Df he is just trying to keep busy atm.

Ali - :hug: mate. I have been wondering how you've been going cause you haven't been posting as much and figured sleep was in short supply. It won't last forever mate. Jacob has been sleeping less well lately too and taking AGES to go down of an evening, sometimes to wake 2 hours later wanting to feed :doh: I feel your pain darl! It's great that FDC seems like a good option.
Shell - whoohoo on the great birthday! I have also just recently resigned myself to the fact that I'll never know what's going on with Jacob half the time. Could be teeth, could be a bad day, could be the direction of the wind I reckon!
Nai - 4 hours for your hair! That's full on. I need a haircut but can't decide whether to start growing it a bit longer again. Glad J was an angel for you. Her night time sleeps sound amazing too! You must feel like a human being again!
AJP - Wow a pool! I had so much fun in our backyard pool growing up. There'll be heaps of good memories there. Hope your Mod meet up was good.
Tarkine - I would love to read your book when it's finished! :hug: for your crappy day. You seem to shoulder a lot of the workload in your house. Make sure you do stuff for you too!
Holly - :hug: That sounds so fustrating - to get him to sleep and then have him wake straight away. Will he take a dummy at all if that is what he wants from you? Jacob is a dummy baby - he actually doesn't use me as a dummy - hasn't for ages and sometimes I miss it but it's heaps easy to just stick the dummy in. How is his breathing/nose going now?

AFM - Not much to report here. Had Jacob to the doctor yesterday about his twisty arm but the doc says it all looks normal even though he hasn't really seen it before and he's probably just really flexible in that arm. DP reckons he's gunna grow up and bowl for Australia! :rolleyes: He STILL isn't rolling in either direction but is looking like he wants to. He can roll onto his side from his back when he has no nappy or a disposable on. I'm trying to enjoy the fact that he doesn't really move much when I put him down because I suspect he'll be off like a rocket once he works it out and we haven't kid-proofed the house yet but I'm starting to wonder if he's ever going to do it!!

ETA: Shell - so sorry to hear about your FIL. :hug:

Kaz, his breathing is still not ideal but we have found that if he sleeps on his left side, not on his back or on the right, he can breathe quite well and will sleep. I actually tried a dummy again today after giving up on it a while ago, and he fell asleep! This was in the car mind you, so it could have also been the motion and bumpy ride but I'll test it again tonight. L isn't rolling yet either! He did once a few weeks ago and not again since lol. Lazy boys! They'll be mobile before we know it!

So tired, I'll be back for personals...just wanted to pop in and yeah I've been lurking a bit too but just never seem to find the time/energy to post. Having renovations done, all the bathrooms and the kitchen is being ripped out and replaced so lots of banging and that awful noise those power tools make and just mess and dust everywhere. I'm going crazy!

I'm being told to get L vaccinated because the whooping cough thing is getting worse... I still haven't made up my mind and I don't want to jeapordise his health in any way either, but I'm just not comfortable with it :doh: I know the pros and cons, still doesn't make the decision easier!

I'm also beginning to think L is really ready for solids. He watches me eat intently and makes movements with his mouth as if he is chewing - he really wants to eat I think! Yesterday I gave him the smallest amount ever of some homemade eggplant dip off the tip of my finger. He seemed to like it and then thought I was giving him more when I went to pick a booger from his nose lol and was trying to reach for my finger with his mouth. And oh the drool! I felt so mean eating in front of him. My chiro gave me a list of foods to start with - she said to start with the above-ground vegies first, as they are higher in water content and easier to digest, makes the soilds transition a little smoother than bombarding them with heavier foods. Has anyone heard this before?? She said not to give rice cereal as it is too heavy and hard to pass through and was often given as a first food out of "tradition" more than anything else. So confusing! Does this strategy have any merit to it?? :dunno:

Anyway, better go get myself some dinner and eat it away from L!
