hmm AJP- explains the sore nipples again!!!
reckon mine might be just around the corner- it was due a week ago and still hasnt arrived, but only had one since boof was born- hence why my migranes have been bad.
Wow Ellie- Congrats! Looking at your ticker seeing it took 10 years to get DD1 it must have been such a surprise to now get pregnant so quick and easily! My parents had 4 of us in less than 5 years and mum said yeah its hard at times but you cope and get thru it. I think there pros and cons about any age group, will keep you busy but will also be great they'll be so close in age.
Jols- af sucks, my cycles been bit funny since returning, had 27 day now just ovulated and its already day 25!
Pinny- Hoping its just a one off bad night and tonight be alot better, has he settled down ok?
Well I have been so upset over the football, its not just a game to me! Been in tears!
Shell- You prro thing, I hope you were able to have a few drinks to drown your sorrows..hopefully next year, although don't let my DH hear me say that
We had a bit of a break through with L.. he slept in his room all night and only fed once at 1.45am!!! He went down at 7.45pm stirred twice needing to be resettled... feed at 1.45am... strirred another two times.. DH just put our sleep music on and popped dummy in and he slept until 7.15am WOOOOHOOOO that is the best night ever.. Fingers Crossed it only gets better from here!!
We had a worse night last night! Miss J screamed for 2 hours from 1.30 - 3.30am. She refused to go back to sleep in her cot so we moved the port-a-cot into the other room and she finally succumbed. Of course she is as chirpy as anything this morning and I feel like I have been hit by a bus GRRRR!
Hi -
A few people seemed to have disappeared off my friends list on facebook. It has been playing up, so if you have dropped off my list, it isn't because I have deleted you. So please add me back if you can. (about 50 people just dropped off one day!!)
Shell - you must admit it was a good game, even though the outcome wasn't in your favour.
We had people here for GF day. E was beside herself. She was sound asleep, and then people started screaming and she woke up with a fright, and was beside herself for about 2 hours. MIL ended up taking her for a drive.
Nai - I hope Miss J gets back to her old sleep through routine soon.
Pin ny - I hope your nights stay how they are going.
Ellie - again congrats. It is wonderful news.
AJP - I got AF back 6 weeks after E was born, and has been spot on ever since.
Det - I hope the migraines get better with the meds. I am not a frequent migrainer, but do geta few and they are terrible.
J had a nice birthday yesterday for grand Final Day. He loved all the visitors and thought they were here for him!
We are off to my sisters' Chinese ceremony for her baby girl. What they do is have a party when the baby is technically 1 year old, meaning it is now 1 year since conception. It should be good. When she got married, they did the Chinese tea ceremony, and that was great. it is llovely to learn about other cultures.
Ellie- have been thinking of you. Its quite exciting although I am sure your nerves are completely natural. Have you got any MS yet?
AJP- AF sucks although I have to say now that I have had mine back for 3 months I kind of wait in dreaded anticipation that she comes around each month as I am always a bit paranoid. Hope its a quick one.
Nai- that sounds like a dreadful night. I hope Miss J gets used to the new room soon for you.
Meg- Sounds like a lovely ceremony. DD's christening is in 2 weeks and I am so nervous about it.
Pinny- that is fantastic about L's sleeping.
Shell- So sorry about yesterday. I will be feeling the same as you next weekend if my team Parramatta lose against the Storm. I will be absolutely devestated. Its been so long since they have even been in a GF.
Det- Migarines must be awful esp with 3 kids and a hubby to look after.
Kaz- How did J go last night? Hope his sleep is improving. There is light at the end of the tunnel though. Remember I had all those issues with Ashlyn's sleep and now in the last week she has been a different baby. The only link that I have to her sleeping better was I stopped wrapping. Not sure if that would work with J but anything is worth a try sometimes.
Malyna- I am still getting used to your new name. I love it by the way. Hope thigns are good over your way.
Hi to everyone else.
AFM- DP is doing better. Went and saw surgeon last week. We have to wait another 10days to see him again as the swelling is still there. Not as bad though. DD has been a very good girl lately with her sleep. I ahve been out the last nights. Once with DP and then last night with the girls from monthers group. It was so freezing though being out. DD is also doing some really sweet things like going back to falling asleep on me like a littel koala, head nestled into my chest and bum sticking out in front of me. Only 1 week of work left and then holidays!!! Woo hoo!
Ali- Glad to hear DP is on the mend, been such a horrible time to go thru that. Well I hope your team wins next week, I was gonna go for storm being a melb team but seeing as I don't care about NRL I'll go for your team instead.
Meg- yeah was good game til half way thru last quarter lol. It is heaps interesting learning bout different cultures and the ceremonys and celebrations they do. Sounds like it'll be really nice.
Nai- Oh god, i wonder what the problem was, 2 hrs in the middle of the night is nightmare! And why do they always wake up happy and we need coffee and toothpicks! Hope you can fit a nap in today.
Pinny- hope its all onwards and upwards from here!
Holly- how you doing today after the big loss?
Took Ash to Telstra dome today to cheer on the saints for there effort. We were standing right where they came out and they looked absolutely devastated, if I feel bad they feel worse I think! Ash couldn't care less, she got bored lol.
Also been cleaning up all the mess from yesterady!
Sick this crap weather too, Df been on school holidays and been crappy all week, hopefully we'll make it to the zoo but gonna miss the tulip farm I think.
Sorry no personals...having a pretty **** weekend. So shattered about yesterday but lets not go there, the pain is still too fresh
L has been so clingy. I am totally at a loss. What does everyone do to amuse their bubs? L is not interested in anything. He has suddenly also started hating food and baths. All he does is cry. I put him in the sling, he cries. The swing, he cries. The cot so he can play with the mobile, he cries. His play mat, jolly jumper, rocker, in front of TV, high chair by the window so he can watch outside (he sometimes used to like this), HE CRIES. I am at my wits end I literally have to hold him in my arms and walk from one end of the house to the other aimlessly just to shut him up. More often than not he won't even take boobie. I just feel like smashing things and screaming. I am so upset and exhausted and I've completely neglected my uni work so I'm so behind I'll never catch up.
*sigh*
Feels good to get it out!
AND my poor baby....he's so itchy. He has awful nappy rash and eczema. It's really bad in the nappy area, on his face, under his chin and reeeally bad on his thumb knuckles (I think from sucking all the time). Nothing seems to be working
I just want to cry
Sorry for my whinge - that's my boohoo for the day. Gotta go as DP has absolutely no patience and L is whinging as usual.
holly hun, id say hes miserable due to the itch of the excema, there is a naturopath over my way in croydon that does allergy test via blood test that some friends have had great success with, might be worth checking him out
I'd like to take this opportunity to formally apologize to all the Saints fans here on this forum. I don't follow any teams, and I slipped up and barracked for the Saints and well they lost (and its my track record). I'd also like to admit that I supported them the other year when they were in the semi-finals against the Hawks, when I purposely went for the Saints, coz I was in a house of a one-eyed Hawks supporter.
You'll be happy to hear that my penance has been changing loads of #2 nappies, and I have promised never to barrack for anyone that I want to win again (I have given up barracking for Marcus Ambrose on these grounds as well).
Lol Malyna, I'm also blaming my dad, he is such a mozzer too, texted me at half time saying congratulations fat lady sung and all this and of course then we lost. My mum was so angry at him and blamed him for it!
Holly- I was wondering same thing, maybe he is miserable with the exzema so not interested in anything? I don't know all that much about exzema, have you got anything for it?
Emily has her needles booked in today, she already cranky so hoping she isn't coming down with something, maybe teething, off her food, won't let me near her mouth.
Big Hugs Holly & Shell. I'm afraid I'm with Malyna and may have mozzed you by wanting the Saints to win I'm also a bit of a bad luck charm. I promise not to do it again!
Shell - I hope Em is ok for her needles today.
Holly - I find singing and dancing with Miss J usually cheers her up. I know I'm not a great dancer but she thinks I'm hilarious so if I sing AND dance it can usually snap her out of any mood.
Ali - glad to hear DP is on the mend and that Ash is behaving for him. It is such a cute age they are at now.
Well I was only up for an hour last night and that was rocking the cot so we didn't have the screaming. DD1 is back tonight so that will be the real test - I am praying that Miss J doesn't wake her up - I really don't need 2 upset children!
