Hey everyone, sorry I've been slack again -have evil flu and have wanted to die. Haven't left the house since Monday It's totally ffffrrrrruuuuuuiiiiiiiitttttttttttt-ed I never get sick. I had a bit of a cough when I was 8-9weeks pg with J but aside from that it's been a couple of years. Guess my number was up! J had a good night last night but I couldn't sleep for coughing and needing to blow my nose constantly

Can't remember who asked but we've got no teeth, no crawling, definitely no walking and hardly any rolling but he does sit up really well without support, can reach for toys etc.

Ali - That sucks about your DP's surgery prospects. That's a pretty big risk to take too. Hope A's rash clears up soon. Be just your luck that you'll get better this weekend in time to go back to paid work!!
AJP - Sorry you and M have had such a rough trot!
Malyna - Glad your DH took some time off to support you. DP stayed home yesterday morning so I could get more sleep and he bought me flowers too. awwwwww....
Pinny - Great that L is feeding less overnight but still sounds like you need more sleep!
Nai - Whoot! on the swimming. Sounds like a lot of fun. Poor Miss J with the poo. Sounds traumatic.
Holly - Yay on Mr. L going at his solids! I don't think J is eating anywhere near that much!
Meg - Sorry your DH was a dill and you missed your lunch. It's hard when you feel like the sole parent. DH isn't getting home til after 7pm tonight and I think that's bad enough but nothing compared to what you do. I've been meaning to ask you how the L&E was going - I assume good if you've only got 4kg to go???
Shell, OP, Ellie, RR, Heaven, Det - Hi!! Can't remember what you girls last posted about I'm sure I've missed someone too.

AFM - Aside from me being sick, J has been ok. I'm so paranoid that he will get what I have. Impossible to keep the germs to myself. He's very clingy at times and quick to cry etc. Still getting progressively more tired as the day wears on. Hardly ever does more than 40mins nap after 11am. Has 4 naps a day Nights highly variable.
Here's something to warm your hearts - one of the mum's in my IRL group made me a lassagne and dropped it round this afternoon after I missed mums group this morning. She is such an angel, means I don't have to cook tea tonight!

Kaz- thats great, sounds like a good mums group! Hope you're on the mend, being sick with kids is so much harder cause you don't get time to rest and you can't call in for a day off.

Nai- I was too chicken to brave it with the girls, lol. Thats great bout getting the work! If you were on my side town I'd send Ash to you for swimming lessons.

Malyna- oh wow, steps! He is really ready to get going isn't he! Glad you had a better day, makes me believe there is light there!

AJP- my girls are so similar too, both were same lenghth and barely any difference in weight, funny.

I've just been feeling physically and mentally exhauseted, its the constant whinging from Emily that is driving me nuts, hear it ALL day and she is more unsettled at night, not too bad but enuff to keep me tired. Its the day with the whinging and just wanting to be picked up. I hope its a short phase! And now I have a sore throat and bit achey, don't have time to get sick.

    Hi all,
I haven't had a chance to read the posts properly and I will tomorrow.
I did want to let you know that we had made some small progress with the solids.

She will now eat zuccini with cheese sauce.
She ate about 2 tsp of carrots yesterday.
She ate a good serve of pumpkin/carrot/potato and tuna and LOVED it, but didn't love it as much the next day.
    Ate some potato today.,

Otherwise she is happy to wolf down fruit and yoghurt.

I have tried BLS with veggies, but she just smooshed them up and won't even try them!!!

Ok had the last few nights with both kids uop at different points so a a bit tired so gonna go now

    xx

    Hi everyone
Just pulling my head out of the bucket to say 'hi'!
I can't believe I read 'walking'...already...omg...I am so not ready for crawling...kind of put the walking out of my mind lol!
And meggie...I hadn't thought about two kids waking up at different times duing the night...reality is starting to hit..BIG time...how on earth am I going to do this????
Hoping to try Anika on some chicken for lunch today...she loves pumpkin, carrot, sweet pot, cucumber, brocholi (if there's some apple included!)...seem to get stuck on these, need to try some others...loves all fruit...but bananna in one of those 'net thingies' is her fave...better cook while I can...bucket is close...hope everyone's having a great weekend

Oh Ellie you poor thing!! I hope your morning/all day sickness settles down soon It must be so difficult! I remember how hard it was being pregnant with a 2yo and I wasn't sick at all. I'm also not ready for the crawling, let alone walking.

Meggie - I went to bed at 8.30 last night as I was soooo tired that I felt sick. The girls had been tag teaming their waking. Last night Miss J woke at 4am so I fed her and then she woke at 5.30am and I ignored her and she went back to sleep but then cried at 6am which woke G who then came into our bed and then Miss J finally woke at 6.30. I'm so glad I went to bed early!

Shell - the constant whinging is awful isn't it! Miss J hates being left alone but she now whinges if I strap her into anything like her high chair or car seat - she hates being constricted. I hope you don't get sick on top of everything!

Kaz, hope you are feeling better and that J doesn't get sick. Hopefully your milk will be protecting him and passing on antibodies. Miss J generally only catches what G has (as G sticks her hands in J's mouth Grrr!) How nice to have a lasagne cooked for you.
