    1. Sitting? YES
    2. Crawling? commando and close to proper crawling.
    3. Standing up holding furniture? NO
    4. How many meals a day? 2
    5. What do you do for play time at home? She loves crawling to toy room and seeing what she can get her hands on.
    6. Still have a dummy? NO
    7. Saying words? mmmm, sort of mum, baa, growls alot,
    8. clapping? NO
    9. waving? NO
    10. teeth? none.

Went to Dr, Em just has virus, she said her throat looked bit inflammed so that prolly why she been upset, I've had sore throat on and off for a week so prolly got what I got, she is on the mend, seems better this arvo, of course as usual she picked up right before Dr appt but took her anyway seeing as I had it.

Ali- I remember those sort of feelings with DD1, esp since she wouldn't take a bottle for ages and I remember just feeling trapped and annoyed. So it is normal, does she drink EBM? Maybe give her a bottle sometime in the day just so you can have a break and have your body to yourself.

Holly and Meg- I remember when my sister had probs with biting and so on when BFing she used to say no and put him down on the floor, that way he caught on that the behaviour was always followed by being put down. Just something I thought you could try.

Ellie- Is the zofran not working so well? You poor thing, I hope this settles soon. Are you keeping fluids down?

Det- thanks, I'll have to keep my eyes open for that. I haven't heard of the olive leaf for sicknesses, hope it doesn't taste disgusting!

Olive- How are you? You on antis? Hopefully they've kicked in and doing what they meant to.

    Hey all
Ali my DH is getting over glandular fever for the second time!! Get your blood checked- it can tell you if you have had it and if it active at the moment again!
    Its a bugger!!!

    Is your baby:

    1. Sitting? yep
    2. Crawling? so close- a but of commando crawling starting to happen now
    3. Standing up holding furniture? will stand if i hold his hands to help him up and then stands for a bit holding the furniture for a bit
    4. How many meals a day? 3 and dont dare short change him- plus now arvo tea as well
    5. What do you do for play time at home?- jumperoo, floor/crawling time - we arnt home much actually lol
    6. Still have a dummy?never had one
    7. Saying words? hello, hey, mum, dad, ar- rul (DS name) and clicks his lips together to make a noise when he wants food lol
    8. clapping? trying but hands arnt connecting yet
    9. waving? heaps on cue and says hello when he waves
    10. teeth? bottom two have recently come through

he is very vocal. Most babies will either be physical ( move early) vocal ( talk early) or some other skill- they cant devlop all these skills at once- hence why our babies are at different levels - boofs main skill that he is really good at is eating lol- he eats everything - he was eating corn chips last nite as an example - too funny- no texture worries him
all babies are different and develop at different times and ages
dont stress that your babes arnt doing things that others are- that is just babies! Its not a race but so much pressure is put on esp first time mothers if there babies are not doing things that others arnt ( the downside of mothers groups)- it is not a reflection of you as a mother- its just how babies develop!! That is why i hate those damm blue child health centre books!!!

Went to the twins spring fair today- was great fun and they had a ball- i even managed to get some sunburn - although i put sunscreen on everyone else- i forgot myself- typical

got my new car a few weeks ago and loving it!! been crusing a bit in it and boof is happy to cruz in the back- as long as i have his brainy baby DVD playing through the built in DVD player!! The same one over and over again!!!

hmm might get to bed before 2am tonite- gonna treat myself!! LOL

    take care girls

olive - woot on the sleep in.

Det - I agree with the comparision thing but it is interesting to see how all our bubs are developing differently. Just goes to show how different they all are. Far out u are so busy.. I'm just exhausted reading what your up to.

AFM - not much to report here. Yesterday I had the "Oh this is my last birthday that I can say I'm 30 somethings". Happy to report I'm over it, thanks to some organic chocolate (how easily am I bought off). Have organised to spend my birthday doing what I want to do, which is laying on the grass at the botanic gardens with Alex using me as a play gym (weather permitting). Not worth getting upset about my age, ain't nothing I can do about it. have started to write my 3rd book

Now I just need to find a group of mums to get together with... wishing you all a great week!

    Hi ladies!

Sorry for another absence - just haven't had a chance to sit down and jump on here! There's always so much to be done when Isabel sleeps... I can't find the time somehow!

I do have some news - I'm pregnant! Yay!!! Very strange - did a test this morning, was convinced I was not and then got a BFP! Haven't really had any symptoms except starting to feel very tired... guess that is what happens when you're still BF while growing another bub!

    Here's my answers:
    Is your baby:

    1. Sitting? Yep, loves it
    2. Crawling? Like Miss J, Isabel is just starting to move backwards
    3. Standing up holding furniture? No
    4. How many meals a day? 3!
    5. What do you do for play time at home? Lots of floor play, she has lots of toys, loves to read books, singing, clapping
    6. Still have a dummy? No
    7. Saying words? Says Dada lots, also mumum sounds and some others
    8. clapping? Not yet
    9. waving? Trying to!
    10. teeth? Nope!

    Hope everyone is going well!!

    7. Saying words? mum, nah, dad
    8. clapping? no
    9. waving? no
    10. teeth? bottom 2

Zofran doesn't seem as fantastic this time...get a few hours out of it and that's it...phenergan at night is great...but all this is timed around bf in morning and night with bottles during the day so it's all out of my system before I feed...hanging out for 12 weeks and hoping it will settle

Ali...oops I just realised my post was misleading. I should have added the bold print:

Tonight he is having zuchini fritters for dinner - just (made with) cooked zuchini with cheese and covered in bread crumbs. He's never had cheese before!
So I didn't just make them - the Italian restaurant down the road did It was his first takeaway...and dare I say, many more to come knowing my cooking reportoir! They look easy enough to make though so I will give them a try. He LOVED them - the breadcrumb outer was a bit chewy so I just squeezed the filling out and he ate the filling of 4 golf ball size frittas.

Shell, yeah I'm thinking I have to condition him somehow to stop the biting - that sounds like a good way!

    L is 8 months tomorrow!!
