Hi to everyone else, we also have very smelly poos/farts here!! I was starting to think it may have been something I was eating but looks like it may have something to do with the age.
A little woohoo from us. Lewis slept for a 6 hour block last night he has only done that twice before, and it is usually from when I put him down around 8pm to 2pm, But last night he slept for a 4 hour block then he slept from 2.30am to 8.30am!! Horray I got to sleep the whole time too coz Abbey slept in too!! I feel like a new woman!

Ali, happy anniversary! It was mine & DP's last week - 3 years, although feels like forever (probably because we knew each other for a while before we started our relationship :think: ) Oh and my brother sleeps with my pregnancy pillow!! :ROFL: He says it's really comfy lol
Rainforest, we have pretty crap day sleeps as well - at least at night L tries to sleep, it's just the breathing that stops him most of the time. But day time is always party time :doh:
Shell, my sister is still in remand :wall: She has court every week but doesn't bother applying for bail anymore and the magistrate keeps requesting more medical assessments and it's just a real waste of time. At least it's time coming off her potential (and likely) sentence... but thanks for asking, it's been really stressful!

OP, were Isabel's sleep consistent last night? I hope she's onto a routine too! Yesterday DP suggested getting another computer and thought I could go halves...I had to remind him I don't get paid anymore and I'm using "our" money now! Good thing tax time is coming up, as should get most of it back woohoo!
Mhami, we are using BBH as well. Put the first lot out to dry over the ducts last night, still wet though. Hope it doesn't take too long! How many do you have? I think we have around 25, plus some flannel squares if we run out.
Got the paed today at 4. Bringing my mum along to back me up. Every time we seem to have a medical appointment, Leon miraculously recovers and seems perfect - in fact he's almost always asleep! :wall: I must look like a lunatic and here I go asking for his nose to be operated on...fingers crossed my concerns aren't dismissed.
Hi all - i'm bad BB buddy today! DD1 back at CC so am rapt :D Nearly 2 weeks without a break so I have heaps to catch up on around the place.
I am wondering where my good sleeping baby has gone :( Last night she went down at 7.30, woke at 8.15, 9.30, 1am, 3am at which time I brought her into bed with me and she slept until 7am.
I am up for the meetup - looking forward to it!

Well I'll definately be there with both girls so people with toddlers bring them along so Ash has friends to play with (so then I won't have to entertain her ;) )
Holly- Good idea taking your mum, don't let them dismiss you, I know what they can be like, take a galnce and think they know when you are with him all the time! Hope everything with your sister works out, must be such a worry for your family, hopefully she won't be in there for long.
Pinny- Its amazing how a decent block sleep can do you wonders, I was bouncing of walls the other day, Df commented he thinks he prefers when i am tired!
Tarkine- How is he now after the injections?
Det- I need lessons on going from zero to hero in sleep, lol, I find some nights I'm so tired yet I'm still tossing and turning.
Kaz- Today is a new day and hope yours is alot better than yesterday. How did he go overnight?
Hey Shell - he fed twice again overnight at 12:15am and again at 4:45am. I am not used to getting up twice so hoping that doesn't last long. Today has been better though. He is still a bit grumbly going to sleep but nothing like yesterday. Three 1.5 hour sleeps and a period during the middle of the day where he woke every 10-20 mins and cried for his dummy. His cheeks look a little rosy but there's no temp. I am praying it is not teeth already!! What else could it be?
Meg - I'll bet J's poo today was bigger than E's :lol: His covered the entire inside of the nappy (bamboo pre-fold) and was coming out both legs of the cover (one made by Maz). It took forever to clean him up and get him into new clothes and it actually stank out his nursery for a good half hour after I'd taken it to the laundry. It was really hard to little squirt because there wasn't much clean nappy to hold :rofl:
Holly - How did the Paed go today? I hope your concerns are recognised darl and you get a plan of action to help Leon with his nose.
Nai - that sounds like a rough night! Hope you enjoyed your day today with DD1 in CC.

Shell - alex was fine after the injections - got a bit warm last night (not really a temperature) - was more clingy than usual - not sure if he was just growth stage.. I still couldn't watch when they gave the needle.
Holly - how'd the dr visit go?
Went out and bought a safe and sound car seat for Alex - just about cried when I returned the capsule.. he'll be starting high school tomorrow (or maybe that's the way it feels!)

Paed went okay. He totally didn't like that I got a referral to a dermatologist (did I mention that before?). Said they won't do anything...hmm okay. So he referred me to a ENT paed (ear/nose/throat) who I've actually met before, to see to L's nose. At least there's an action plan - kinda...we'll see what the ent guy says and go from there.

Megie I got the bulb/aspirater. Tested it on myself first lol. It was a bit ineffective I thought, but maybe my nose is too blocked (I've had hayfever for days now grr!) I'll try it on L soon.
Kaz, I'd do anything for L to wake only twice over night! Did I read that right???

I rang the ABA tonight because I was worried that I am putting Ash on the boob too much at night. (its been like 3 or 4 times a night between 12 and 7am. They are so helpfl, she said it wasnt a problem unless I thought it was a problem but that I could try feeding her 3 times between 4 and 7 to try and get her to cluster feed then and fill her little tummy up. Will give that a try tomorrow.
Has been a busy day here, we had mums group this morning at a cafe and then I went to my old work and saw the teacehrs there and then I met up with the gorgeous Jenjorja late this arvo for coffee. She is such a nice girl. My first IRL BB meet up! :) Jealous you girls are all ahving a meet up but Kaz and I will be getting better next week. Can you all take photos of your little meet up and the babies together for us?

Girls I think I have stomach bug. It has come on really quickly. My tummy is aching and spasming. I just had a bath but I think it made it worse. I really am in pain.
Is your hubby home? If he can get you biscopan that could help (works for spasms) just not sure bout if it ok with BFing.
kaz i dont use the little squirt :hide: i just prerinse in the machine!!
tarkine millie is still in the capsule, i love it too much to not use it!!!
millie had injections tuesday too, is a little clingy today!

holly make sure you read the instruction with the sucker as you need to block one nostral will you suck the other otherwise it wont work!!

Still painful but I just fell asleep on the lounge and woke up and the pain isnt as bad. Still there but it seems to be in waves. DP isnt home :( I really want some buscopan.
