    Hi ..

    Congratulations mums and bubs!!

My little girl was born on the 12th of February. She was fashionably late but was so worth the wait. So far things are going well, shes on breast and bottle to accommodate her demanding appetite!! I think my milk has come down more over night so I can start cutting back on the formula.

Look forward to chatting with you all.

    Goodmorning,

CONGRATULATIONS MUMMIES!!!!! And WELCOME to all the beautiful lil CHERUBS!!

My gorgeous lil man arrived 10th of Feb. Had a ceaser so im still recovering 10 days later.

So far my lil man is a fabulous sleeper.. its all he's doing! We did have a small worry a few days ago.. when I noticed that during his sleep he stop breathing for about 4 seconds, then returns to breathing normally. Thankfully we had an GP appointment and he reassured us that its all normal in newborns. PHEW
We also got the Free Whooping cough vaccine that they are promoting atm. OUCH.

    Enjoy your weekend.

    Hi,

Thought it about time I come and introduce us to those who don't know us yet.

My name is Bec and my second son Joshua Francis was born 3 February- at 4.28pm. Born at 38weeks 2days (was induced at my OB's recommendation due to my high blood pressure and protein in my urine-plus his brother came at 37weeks 1day and Josh was already measuring a good size). He was 3.28kg, 50cm long, 34cm head. Birth was good, was almost the same as his brothers- Cameron Anthony who was born 29th May 2008- same hospital, same midwife, same room, even almost same times of when i felt pains and the pushing part (except this time the pushing part was alot quicker).

We are breastfeeding, and I'm finding it so much easier this time. I remember being in tears with pain and frustration at this stage when i did it with Cam. And even though Cam was a rather good baby too, so far Josh is making this really easy- it sure makes a difference knowing what i'm doing i suppose- i'm much more relaxed.

So I look forward to getting to know you and your bubs and will still have heaps of questions even though i have only just done most of it 20months ago- but i'm so forgetful it'll help having you guys.

    Bye for now,

    hi
i thought i would join this group if thats ok

my little man was born on the 9/2/10 at 650pm by c section. he was born at 34 + 3 weeks after having multiple complications during my pregnancy. i had vasa previa, grade 4 placenta previa, gestational diabetes on insulin, pre-eclampsia, and polyhydranimos (extra fluid surrounding him). i had some spotting from week 28 with him, then on the sunday before he was born, my ob admitted me to hospital for monitoring after i had a bleed of 50mls. i was to stay in hospital until he was born which they were hoping that i could hold out for another 2 or more weeks but on the tuesday i had another 50ml bleed so they decided not to take anymore chances and i had a c section that night.

Hamish was 2.71kg, 47.5cm long with a head circumferance of 35 cm. he was in the special care nursery right up until last monday where we were able to bring him home after he put on some weight and started feeding and sucking well.

i look forward to being able to chat to everyone on here with babies around the same age!

    hi

Hi teresa, i had a C/S with placenta previa and blood loss making me so low on iron even weeks later. My doula/naturopath gave me a Metagenics iron supplement cuz my others were too low. Seems to have done the trick. How's Hamish doing? So tiny!
    Hi to all mum's here!
