18months - eek. Time flies. A is still a very senstive soul and loves a good cry. He was hit badly with a cold (but no ear infection YAY!) and couldn't bf which was weird. i felt a bit useless because i couldn't make him feel better. He was awake a lot at night, but he's coming right now. Phew!
He is allowed his little push trike in the house because the weather outside is yuck. He's awesome on it - the two boys race up and down the hall like crazies. The door at one end is ruined from them crashing into it, but at least it helps my sanity a bit.
I am amazed at his speech. Just because DS1 didn't talk at all, so hearing words from an 18 mth old seems so cool to me. He's just saying one word at a time although he does have a two word 'sentence' - he points to DH's beer can and says 'daddy bottle' LOL. His favourite word is NAH.
He eats like there's a famine coming and he's happy to eat most things except mashed potato and weetbix - actually, anything mushy. I guess that's the difference with DS1 being spoonfed as a bub and doing BLS with DS2.
He still wakes up at about 5.45 and then has a morning nap and an afternoon nap. Yay for me!
Been tandem feeding for 18 months thats the most exciting thing!!
DS2 says "mum, bye bye, dada"
He still prefers to bum shuffle but has been walking for 2 weeks but doesnt do it all the time.
He attacks DS1 a lot and annoys him buy grabbing at his clothes and stealing toys!!!
He still will not sleep in cot at all! Co sleeps everynight (will fall asleep feeding and I can sometimes slide him onto couch and will then wake around 2330 or 2400 when I will then take him to bed, Day sleeps only happen in car,in pram or on my knee post feed!!!)
Usual stuff happening here. DD is so cuddly and cute but is driving me insane by climbing on everything. I spend every 5 minutes removing her from the kitchen table, top of the couch, tv unit...anything...I suppose I could just lock away all my furniture but meh! LOL...We are still feeding and she has only really just stopped her middle of the night feed, so we're at about 3 a day. She's so cheeky and when she wants it she will grab my hand, lead me over to my rocking chair, pat the seat and say "doo-dor" which is her word for boobie. DS is almost toilet trained (never thought I would see the day). Both of them have colds AGAIN at the moment. Can't wait for Winter to be over. Been feeling really meh alot lately, unmotivated, just getting through each day trying not to be grumpy :/ Trying times.
Ladies it's been too long
How is everyone going, how are all the LO's?
Were good here, Z is talking HEAPS - 5-6 word sentences, counting to 10.
She really loves the motorbikes and yells "more donuts" when we go into the paddock.
Not much to report really, she has most of her teeth but i have a feeling 2yr old molars are moving around, we have tantrum central at the moment too.
She loves the library, books and just being with us and is still BFing.
