Jodi, how fantastic that you're back to below your pre pregnancy weight - only gaining 8kgs is awesome. I put on almost 20kgs!! Crazy hey. Weighed myself on Sat and I'd lost 12kgs. My belly looks okay, almost flat just jellyish. I bet your boobs give you some grief, poor thing. I've only gone up from a C cup to a D cup. I have visions of them shinking to nothing once I finish breast feeding.

I've been working on our 'attachment' issues and the breast feeding is going better, my nipples are healing and he's feeding better from the lazy right boob. The supply is still no where near as good as my left boob though. I'm still expressing a couple of feeds a day to give my nipples more time to heal.

Hudson is 3 weeks tomorrow, can't believe how quickly the time is flying by. It's been just me and him all week, DH went back to work and so far has been working loooong hours.

I used cloth on him for the whole day yesterday and had no leakages!! Woohoo!

rach - you look great in your photos! I think I only put on a small amount of weight as I was busy running around after the girls, and I still am. I don't stop really. I get up at 6am, get to bed at 10pm, and just run run run all day long. Good to hear the attachment issues are getting better. Breastfeeding certainly isn't an easy thing to get a grasp on, but once you do get it, it's a wonderful journey between you and bub. Your dh was home for a while with you, which is great! How are you going getting around now after your c/s? Is your scar healing ok?

    Hi Girls,

Im typing one handed here while feeding Lexie so excuse the mistakes.

Jodi youre lucky only putting on 8 kg, I always seem to stack it on while pregnant. Ive lost 10kg but would still love to lose another 10kg coz I didnt lose all my weight after DD2. Im run off my feet all day too.

Rach, glad to hear the breastfeeding is getting easier. Yay for putting Hudson in cloth, have you been using your Cushies? I've got Lexie in cloth full time apart from overnight.

Hi to everyone else & welcome to the newbies, looking forward to getting to know you.

Hello lovely ladies! Am currently feeding too Leigh lol, as i will be for the rest of the night i can feel, little miss has been on and off the boob since about 5pm! We had attachment issues also but we seem to have made some progress, either that or my nipples are turning to rubber hahaha. Am having to feed her a lot anyway to try and flush her system more but is anyone else constantly feeding?

We've also had issues with her not attaching to my left boob so its quite full and rock hard in some places, i started expressing it to try and relieve it a bit, seems to work.

I survived my first day at home and after minimal sleep last night Laila and i slept in the lounge room most of the day!

Good job to those in cloth already, theres no way i could do it at the moment, everytime L farts she poos LOL, my stash wouldnt even last me a day!

Jodi - I'm in the same boat as you, my appetite isn't really back yet. I remember when I was BF DS I was ravenous and put on a ton of weight, but this time around I have to force myself to eat most of the time. I only put on 6lbs so I am below my pre pregnancy weight too.

Rach - good job on dropping weight so quickly too. I'm glad the cloth is going well for you. I have some to use too but Paige is way too small for them still.

Ammaki - Glad to hear you are are home and doing well. We've had attachment issues on the left side too but thankfully things are slowly improving. Paige poops every time I feed her so my stash of cloths wouldn't last long either.

    JLK - 7 hrs, sweet!

Tasha - COngrats on your little girl, pretty name too!

Leigh - Good job on cloth already too!

Things are going ok with us. Paige lets us get an OK amount of sleep so I'm not feeling too sleep deprived, but the diaper leaks are getting to me. I have her on a soaker pad in our bed to feed her but somehow she wiggles off it an leaks out her diaper on the bed. I've never done so much laundry in my life! Good thing she's so cute!

How annoying Twin!! Anything is forgivable with babies tho isnt it haha

Little miss Laila was still unsettled at 2am and i was TIREDDDD so she came to bed with me hehe, maybe all she wanted was mummy snuggles because she slept so well! Trying not to make it a habit tho, we just need her to switch her routine by about 12 hours LOL she sleeps fine during the day!

twin - we're getting a few leaks with the cloth we're using at the moment. They seem to be gaping on the outer leg part, which is really frustrating!

ammaki - we had Ambah unsettled at 2am last night as well, and we ended up bringing her into bed with us. Don't worry about it becoming a habit, she's too young to know what's what yet Enjoy those newborn snuggles while you can. Give it a couple of weeks and you'll start to notice her awake more during the day, and she'll sleep more at night. How's her jaundice going?

hope she's ok afterwards. I think she'll want lots of mummy cuddles.

Ambah slept absolutely fantastic last night, 11.5 hours!!!!! DD1 is at preschool today, so it's just me with the 2 little ones. Bliss

dusty, I know! I woke up this morning and just presumed it was her usual wake up time (which is 3.30am), but NO! I think it helps that since it's hotter here, we have the air con on in the bedrooms overnight. I know that helps the 2 older girls sleep longer as well.

    Welcome Blujooce and Matilda!

Thanks Jodi, just drugs at the moment and will see what is available locally. Just knowing has helped heaps.

Freya is 1/3 of the way through her brace now. About 8 more weeks to go, she is coping really well!

    Hello everyone!

We are settled in our new house now which is great. It has a nice feel about it. Ted is really good. He is such a cruisy baby. Still feeding 1-3 times a night, but resettling well, so I'm not fussed. He's really propping himself up on his forearms now and starting to try to grab things. He laughs easily, too. Such a lovely boy. Will post some pics on FB soon.

Good to hear from you SB - love the name, and good luck on the 18th.

    Welcome Blujooce & Matilda!

Dusty, how are you feeling now on the meds? I hope they are helping. You have been through a lot. With both boys I went through patches of feeling quite anxious and depressed, but the dark cloud seemed to lift just as I thought I should do something about it. These patches seemed to become less frequent as time went on, so I put it down to mainly hormones. I think I'm back to normal now (although I did completely lose it the other day when I put my phone in the washing machine!). Motherhood, along with all the joy it brings, is very hard work and can be overwhelming at times. You are certainly not alone.

Can you believe how close christmas is? I just told DS1 that if he didn't stay in bed, santa wouldn't come. It worked! Why didn't I pull that one out earlier?! 'Santa' is bringing him one of those wooden balance bikes. I'm hoping santa brings me an ipod nano!

Hi to everyone else! It has been quiet in here. x

Thanks for the welcomes dusty and Quegsley! I don't why why I didn't pop in here sooner!

I'm not really looking forward to Christmas as it means going back to work a couple of weeks afterwards. Noooo! Is anyone else returning to work, or has returned to work, and if so how are you coping?!

And what am I doing wrong with my Lilypie ticker?!

Blujooce, I think there are a couple of options when it comes to cutting and pasting your ticker address - try the one that is specifically for forums, if you haven't already.

Poor you having to go back to work already! Boo! What do you do? I get a max of 12 months off, so have to go back at the end of June. I will go back to part time work, though. I like my job, but am certainly in no hurry to go back! I just want to enjoy my time at home because I know it will go WAY too fast!
