hi! I can't remember when I last checked in here - seems like forever - I've had a quick scan over all the posts, but I won't do personals cos I'll probably miss stuff everyone has already said ;-)

sloane - thanks for the birthday wishes!

Yep, Zac is ONE YEAR OLD. He has had four birthday parties, all fairly low key events. The first one was a combined mothers' group first birthday party, which was chaotic and huge fun. Then we had a formal one in NZ for the grandparents and my sister and her family, and an informal one (also in NZ) with some other family that we visited. Topped off by a quiet one in the weekend for Aussie family and friends. Thank goodness he's only one - otherwise he will be expecting four parties every year!
