so I don't know if she is trying to say "who's that" or I'm making it out to be more than it is
I have exactly the same thing going on here ATM

I think we have 'hello' and maybe 'dog' (mumum & dadad as well)
The rest are sounds that make us say that make us say 'what was that? did she just say...?' lol.

Sounds like Hayley will be on the move very soon!

Hayley sounds like she's on par with my girls, they are doing the exact same thing with the wanting to walk with hands thing, and when I try to put them down on the floor for them to crawl they put their feet down to walk. They are also walking with a little ride on/walk along toy all by themselves, so I guess it's a matter of getting their balance and off they'll go. God help me when they do! Only Jennifer is saying words though, she say's "ello" and "hiya" as clear as a bell. She also calls our dog and her big brother. The dog is called Mash and she calls "Ma" and big brother is called "Alex" we get "ala" it's very cute! But we're still waiting for Suzanna to say anything recognizable, she babbles like she thinks she's talking, but nothing that you can make out. We are also getting a lot of pointing at things and what sounds like "what's that?" in a high pitched "huh?" going on.

We've all just got over a terrible bug, we had it over the weekend, Alex came home from school with it on Thursday, followed by me Friday night, then Suzanna Saturday morning, then Jennifer Saturday evening, then lastly OH late Saturday night. So I've been spending the last couple of days de-germing the household, after our yukky weekend! I've gone through a whole 2lt bottle of disinfectant and boil washed all the bed sheets..........be gone nasty bug, be gone!!

oh no Kezzabird Hope the bug is well and truly gone, must have been awful! Sounds like you need 4 hands too...lol. My back gets sore so quickly holding her little hands while she stumbles around everywhere, would be twice as bad with twins!

I had a little spending spree on Ebay last week, got her some ball pit balls, and a pretty pink princess tent/cubby. She had sooo much fun playing with the balls in the tent it was hilarious!

bit of a woohoo- finished the last tin of formula tonight!! She's down to 1/4 formula, 3/4 cows milk, so starting tomorrow (or maybe tonight if she won't go back to sleep when she wakes up at some ungodly hour) she will be on full cow's milk. Yay no more buying formula! I don't know if it's related, but she had two quite runny poos today with lots of bread seeds in them. i thought maybe it was the cow's milk, but she's been having that ratio of milk for a few weeks now. thank god they weren't in the bath like she has been doing lately

God - our babies are growing up so fast!
Teaghan is running, talking - the newest is telling everyone off with the finger pointing and saying "Don't Do It! Brat!" It's very cute...
I babysat a friends 4mth old daughter last night and Teaghan had to help with everything - feeding her, wiping her bottom, burping her and putting her to sleep.. Quite the little Mummy I have!

So sorry I have been MIA. So much going on with the ex trying to get custody of DS and trying to prove I am an unfit mother - good luck to him - and getting child protective services involved. It's taken it's toll even though we are doing the right thing, there is procedures to follow etc and it's been really hard..

I keep meaning to post but just get sidetracked...I should do it more often because it's really my only record of DD's milestones! Terrible I know, but we were never given a baby book as a pressie and I didn't buy one. I probably would have only filled out a few pages and that would have been it! Might have to make my own...one day...lol.

Will be back later tonight with an update

me too, I don't post in here on my phone because it takes too long and I often lose my posts on it (damn thing gives me the absolute s****) and now I'm on the computer I can't because DF wants me to come and watch some crappy TV show with him.

Hope everyone is well, I promise I read all your posts in here and stalk you all on FB though - well those that I have on FB! lol

didn't get back in to post last night...Hayley is back to doing the waking up only an hour or two after she's been put to bed again Last night, geez Hayley don't you know Tuesday nights I MUST watch Packed to the Rafters?!? Lol. She woke up about three times before I even made it to bed..so guess who came with me I think it's her teeth, she's getting her first molar (I didn't even know it was on the way until she opened her mouth one day and I saw a bit of white far back in her mouth!) and looks like her bottom eye teeth are on their way as well.
DF is going on his "she needs to sleep in her own bed" rampage again...a couple of nights ago she woke up at about 10.30 screaming (don't know if she had a bad dream or it was just her teeth still) and didn't go back to sleep until after 1...nothing would work, I took her to bed with me and she just wriggled around and didn't even look like going to sleep, so I came back out to the loungeroom and just sat her on the floor. She was quite happy playing with her taggie block and crawling around...then DF came and picked her up and she screamed for about 30 mins straight..she kept putting her arms out and squirming like she wanted to come to me but he wouldn't let her said she needs to learn she doesn't always get what she wants..like WTF??? Eventually I managed to get him to give her to me, she was nearly sick a couple of times, then went back to bed with her and she finally fell asleep

Today she took her first couple of steps all by herself! So exciting, still gonna be ages before she is actually walking though! She still hates standing on her own and will only do it for a few seconds at a time. we'll get there though! So yep at 14 months and 3 weeks we finally have her first independent steps

She also knows where her head, ears and toes are, and where my nose is. We're going to 'Little Big Day Out' in Wagga tomorrow, its more for 2-6 year olds, but I'm sure we'll have fun anyway. It's organised by the council and they have stalls showing all the different council departments. I'm sure Hayley's favourite will be the animal shelter one...they bring in some puppies and kittens She is going to be a real animal lover I think!

Better go...we've just finished dinner and are going to go for a quick walk before bath and bed time

Oh man... personality? It's her nickname at both FDC & LDC, Miss Personality

Well, we're having major tantrums atm, I keep telling myself it's just frustration on her part, that her thought process is a bit ahead of her communication right now.. that's where a lot of them come from. And of course when she doesn't get her own way we have tantrums too, but I find those less frustrating, we just let her get it out... when she's trying to tell us something and loses it because we don't understand, that is harder.

And she's becoming a bit of an actress too, if she gets told off she will hang her head, pout (she's very good at turning her mouth down) and hold her hand to her head until she gets a cuddle. Sometimes she will do it for no apparent reason... and I've seen her do it once whenshe fell over, she wasn't hurt but she spotted her sister & acted sad until she got a cuddle. And the other day a woman in the supermarket called her 'gorgeous'... and got the same sad pouty look (she kind of hangs her head & looks up at you out of the corner of her eye) funny as, I have no idea what was so bad about that!

Ahh she's super entertaining right now, so much fun & leaning SO much every day it's scary... but awesome

    Hi ladies!

Fleur it's so funny, I keep going to type Jasp! Arlea sounds so cute! Ash has also embraced the power or the tantrum. We've only had three real ones so far, but OMG they were full on. I kid you not an hour of throwing himself on the floor and complete dramatics. The first time I thought there was something physically wrong with him and was set to rush him off to the doctor, but the minute we ran out the front door it all stopped. I thought I knew what a tantrum was, but after that I discovered that I had know idea until then.

We've just gotten back from 3 weeks in the US visiting DH's family. Ash handled all the travel really well and had a lovely time. It was amazing we didnt have one tantrum the entire time we were away, but sure enough within 24 Hours of getting home they started again. We're also having some sleep issues, part of it is jet lag I think, he's also gotten very used to having us rock him to sleep because that is what we had to do while we were away. Hopefully it will all sort itself out in the next week or so though cos he has two very weary parents right now...

It's been lovely watching him transform into a true toddler oveer the last couple of months, he's so much fun and so amazed by the world around him, it's really giving me a new appreciation of the simple things iykwim. His language is just starting to develop, we've probably got about eight or nine everyday words now with no and uhoh being the favorites, but every day he seems to mimic something new.

Hope everyone is we'll. I've missed our little catchups in here

    Hi there!

Good to hear from you Jess, I've often wondered how you're doing... There are quite a few of us who are pregnant again, funny how the timing works isn't it! Sloan and I are in a Belly Buddies group with Leckert, so three from our group - I still can't get over the conincidence! And I think Bekz and Ryatha are probably about as far along as you.

It's hard to believe our little ones are 2 isn't it. It seems like yesterday that we were all chattering away here with anticipation. Oh how time flies.

    Take care x

I'm still surprised at how fast time has gone and how quickly Blake's grown - everything's "mine" now

Argh I am so jealous of all these new pregnancies!!!
Teaghan has hit terrible twos - go away and shut up are her faves at the moment.
Every day she has me in awe though - the things she does, understands and says amaze me...

    How is everyone else?
