Julz, at least she isn't in pain anymore! Amelia went for 3 days last week without doing a poo and seemed to be in a bit of pain. I called the MCHN and they said that it was perfectly normal (she is 50/50 bf and ff) for her to go 10 days without one and if it hit day 10 with nothing then try 40ml cooled boiled water with a teaspoon of brown sugar (I think it was a teaspoon) - I didnt have to try it though, she did a monster poo that afternoon and when through 3 disposable nappies

sally, hope you have a better night tonight! We had a good night, she slept from 7.30 til 4!

afm I hired a breast pump yesterday so Im going to try to express as much as possible and hopefully my supply will increase enough so I can reduce the amount of formula I give Amelia.
