Tali - I'm feeling your anguish from your post! So glad you get to come down in Feb - it will come quickly When you guys come to Vic again and we're on our farm, you can stay with us (may have to tent it...) but then you're half wasy between the Melb and Inverloch (where your p's are?) That's not just an offer, it's an instruction!!
Can't wait to catch up with the Melb chicks next week or the week after.
Had a really perfect New Years. I've had good ones (not recently!), but none that I would call perfect - and to think it all sort of organically happened in the late arvo!
Nic - your photo tribute to the decade is ace!!
Better go put this girl in a sling...
    Happy New Year!

Firstly, Tali I know all too well the feeling of being torn between places. Maya is right, Feb will be here before you know it. Now make sure you take up Maya's offer too if you can

Meetup dates good and not-so-good for me:

Monday 4th Not good, Wade dentist appointment at 1pm.
    Tuesday 5th Good
    Wednesday 6th Good
Thursday 7th Not good, Endocrinologist appointment (wretched thyroid)
Friday 8th (reserved for Yarra Valley trip)
    Saturday 9th (reserved)
    Sunday 10th (reserved)
Monday 11th through to the 15th Good

I'll update this post if any of these days become "not good".

Nic: is your tribute in FB? Looking forward to checking that out Going to load some photos of our Christmas period there now too.

Bath, the following week is looking better for me, too. My mum's got a friend from O/S visiting Oz for the first time and she'll do the Melb component with her next week, before taking her to Sydney then back to the country. The following week is the week before my sister gets here and all is well for that week!
Sorry about the previous post - was typing one handed, with Kimba the friggin (I mean, white) Lion playing in the background with Oscar's running (loud) commentary!

Back at work, DH hoping to start a Master of Teaching this year and we are planning moving to the country once he finishes Maybe Warragul, maybe Bendigo, maybe someplace else.

Maya thanks I would love to see your new place, and yes my parents do live in Inverloch, we wont be able to get down to Melbounre until next summer, which I think is half my problem, guess its good I will have a weekend away to see my Family in Feb...

Rory BTW I am loving all the 80's flash backs you are doing on FB, I hope you keep them coming... Oh if I was you I would choose the sth eastern coast, very pretty down that way

Mel where are you, your normally always good for a long post, expecally when we are all a little chatty...

Well lets see, BHL has been talking more and more about moving out of Mackay in a years time as he knows I hate it and he isnt too fond of it himself, plus he is getting quite annoyed with his job, and is thinking of doing the course that will get him on the oil rigs, or a course that will get him to be a electirition ( as he is navy qualified but not civvy so needs to do a few more mods ), but all this is leading to us moving away from here, he has even been thinking about moving us back to Melb, ( will just have to get used to the cold weather and choose a house with better heating ) but I will not get my hopes up this is something he will have to decided himself as this is it we can keep movig around it cost us way too much plus Zayden will be in High school in 3 years so he really needs to be settled for those final school years...

Geez I have missed heaps!!!! I didn't get an email about new discussions until today. I hate it when I miss so much! Sorry girls

Our NYE was brilliant. Had 3 other families come over for a bbq dinner and swim. It was so stinking hot, everyone spent ages in the pool. Then the big storm hit and everyone wanted to stay in, DH turned all the lights off and they all watched the storm in the pool. It was pouring down but they didn't want to move. It was great watching everyone have so much fun. Most of the adults spent time in the spa, it was weird sitting in there while it was pouring. Then it got really windy and stuff was blowing everywhere. The bigger kids got to stay up till midnight and then they were asleep by 12.15!!!! Poor things. Littlies went to bed around 10ish, and put up a bit of a fight.

Bath - I love the tightrope! Chelsea is really good at it. I was hopeless when I first started but getting the hang of it now. Skiing, not so good Sebel, you lucky girl! Sounds divine! Enjoy.

Maya - Earthly Treasures sounds great. Hope we can find a day to suit everyone. I have been checking out your pics and T is getting so big! Those cheeks are filling out, love chubby cheeks.

Ali - HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY!!! I hope you had a great day Monday (you spring chicken!!!).

Tali - how fantastic for your sisters, you mum and dad must love having all these extra grandkids. My poor MIL will only have my two, BIL is not married and still lives at home (he is a bit of a loner) and is now 45 and not likely to marry or meet someone any time soon. I feel so bad for you, feeling so home sick. But Feb isn't far away, and you will have the best weekend. You should spoil yourselves and go for a spa treatment before the theatre. You deserve it. Thanks for asking where I was - its nice to know that I am missed

Rory - wow, a treechange for you too. How exciting. The Junies will have to make the pilgrimage to go and visit you all - that would be fun!

With regards to our meet up, I am on holidays until 19th Jan (and loving it!). I can do anyday next week, except 15th (Chelsea's birthday). And either Monday or Wednesday (week of 18th). Fingers crossed we can get together. Maya, I will bring the muslins for you!

Had my niece stay over last night and took the kids to the Collingwood Childrens Farm today, which was great. The cafe was delicious!!! The kids got to hold guinea pigs and go and pat goats, cows, sheep and pigs. Marley got the most excited when she saw the resident cat lol!

Well that should be enough to keep you reading for a while lol!!!!

Just very briefly as I really need to re-adjust my bio clock and get some early nights in!

Rory: !!! A tree change! Can't wait to hear more about that! I've lived in Warragul and like Mel said it would be great of you and Maya lived close so we could have regular pilgrimages The train goes there I believe...

Meetup: What days are your prefs Maya? Rory: are you sure you can't join us? Do you work every day? Can't wait to meet T-girl!

Tali: Well, with climate change maybe Melbourne will warm up just enough to be tolerable for you... but no doubt I would have moved to Scotland by then!!! Hope your BHL finds a job he's happier with.

Sebel booked... leaving on Friday back on Sunday... going to be hot apparently... yay for being somewhere with aircon and an indoor pool for the weekend!!!
