Mummies, I could go on for days about BLS! but its prob better for all of us is you just check out the Baby Led Solids threads HERE lol

Beata - great news from the FS, the results come back good!! And try not to stress about the solids I did a HEAP of research yesterday, and unless there is a family history of allergies to food, you can offer anything and everything to bubs now! EXCEPT honey and whole nuts until after 1 or 2 years (depending on which article you read )

The keys to BLS (from what I understand) is to remain calm and patient, know the difference between gagging and choking (gagging is a natural reaction and nothing to worry about!) and let your baby feed themselves whatever the family eats. No preparing mush in advance for bubs!!! Do not put food in their mouth for them! If they are ready to eat it, they will! They probably won't actually swallow any food for a few days or even weeks, rather they will squish and mash and throw (yay mess!) until they are ready to taste...here i am rambling now! You can see pics on FB of Blake sucking on pear and steak - he looooooved steak!!

Meercat - it is all worth it you're so sweet! Snuggles are way too good to give up - i am guilty of cuddling Blake during his day naps too oh and i just noticed ur ticker - Happy 6 months Tiah!!

Teresa, blake loves to stand as well (with help of course) but i am encouraging crawling here too
