I think that we have hand foot and mouth here MJ has horried blisters all over her tonge and has had temps for the last few days.
My poor little bubba.
Those of you that have had it, can you give me some more info?

Bron, getting there with the xmas preps, this is a bit of a set back... but i have all of next week off, so will catch up then if need be.

xmas - just wanting to wrap the rest of the pressies. done all shopping just waiting for to more in the post. we are the usual family bbq at our place.

poopy for some reason has started to constantly pinch me, less to steve and no one else. i dunno what to do. have done distraction, telling him it's not right, to be gentle etc.

SJ ice blocks helped both WIll and I with blisters in mouth. Hands are hard just try to keep them clean and dry. It just might make her feel a little miserable for a few days. Hands kid of feel like you have touched fibre glass and got tiny particles in until blisters come out. I still have them peeling on my hands. I dosed Will up`every 4 hours to make it bearable.. some get it worse than others.
Feeling much better here counts up and enjoying xmas preps we had our mg xmas party at ours today it was such great fun the kids had a ball.Pics on FB. Got to go fo rnow one very tired boy ready for bath and early bed. x

Poor MJ. Thats not what we had. They all came from the same thing though. Jaz & Jesse had just a viral rash & fevers like slap cheek, but not. Coz Jaz had that as a baby...yeah. Confusing, lol.
Hope she feels better soon.

Prama Jesse pinches too. I don't bother saying anything coz as soon as I do he gets an evil look in his eye & does it again I ignore it til it hurts, then just move his hand. Over & over again. I might say 'don't that hurts' but it usually does nothing so there's not much point.

Looking forward to chrissy. Anth should be coming home this weekend & we'll at least have my mum, dad & sister here. Possibly my grandma & uncle. Still hoping Anth family will come, but they are thinking its the last christmas with FIL's dad, so more than likely heading to Syd.
We might head down that way after. Try catch up with Anth's brother & sister. We only met them once when they were 9 & 11.
Just found out his sister is pg So excited that I'm gonna be an aunty! Even more happy that Anth & I are the only ones who know so far!!!! Only chatted on the phone & facebook & she trusted me enough to tell me She's probably not staying with the father, was considering leaving him before she found out, so she's a bit worried what the family will think.
I'm so excited though!! lol

Anyway. Lets hope Anth gets paid soon so I can go finish my chrissy shopping! If not I only have a lunch box each & a watch for Jaz, lol. The rest is on layby!

bron - so glad to hear your blood counts are up!! yaay what a wonderful xmas pressie.. you must a skinny sexy mrs santa this year! So proud of your weight loss.

I'm getting bit nervous.. my temps dropped all of last week and over the weekend till today it's back up. AF is due today. I havent tested as I;m also feeling a bit flu-ey. So maybe that's why the temp rise?
I mean I didnt think we'd get pg this cycle, as we DTD at night on the O day. So I just assumed we would have missed the egg.
I'll wait for AF today and if not test tomorrow...
Also I have a job interview today. It's a junior role and I applied for the heck of it as it's with our "partner" I liaise with them and they know me. I wasn't really expecting to be called for an interview either but I have it today. It would be ironic if they could offer me what I want and I;m pg at the same time.. I reckon they just want to have a chat with me and see why I applied..

Will post if AF is here today or if I test tomorrow.
Please NO mention on FB though.. I know you won't but you know how it is..

OHHHHH PRAMA .... i am so excited for you!!! holding my breath!!!

MJ doesnt have HF&M, went to the GP yesterday... they think that it is a severe case of cold sores, apparently in babies it is really bad, its all over her tongue, inner cheeks and back of her throat. She is off food and drink and that is more the concern, very close to needing IV fluids yesterday but i took her home and pushed them like mad! She is slightly better today, still exhausted and irritable, but a bit more lively... Back at the GP tomorrow for another check. Poor bubba, her tongue looks terrible and must be so painful to eat. she has had ice blocks,yoghurt, icy poles and ice creams a lot, GP said just give her what EVER she wil eat, then worry about nutrition when she is better...

She has been asleep for 2 1/2 hours this afternoon, sleeping badly at night as i think that it is painful for her... i wish i could take it all away from her it sucks when they are sick...

on the upside, i am buying a trampoline for MJ and DSS on thursday when I get paid, it comes with free nets (which i think now a days are a must) but also a free tent, so you can have sleep outs in the tent!!! i think that it is going to be awesome... DH has dirty ideas aready hahaha

sj - so glad it isnt cold hfm but sorry it's cold sores... yoghurt has lots of nutrition so thats good that she's taking that.
yeah it breaks your heart when you cant take away their pain..

they are going to have so much w the trampoline!! you can use it too!!
are the side bars protected w soft material. my lecturer was doing a study on kids and playgrounds and apparently it's common that kids break their arms on the sides. but these are older style ones and i think there's new standards now.

thanks Prama for the link, the trampoline has padded poles, also the net is on the inside of the springs which limits any problems there too.

Skye - she has ... herpes simplex gingivostomatitis... its particuarly nasty and aparently is more painful than HFM... will last for 10-14 days

Oh but on the plus side, SHE IS OUT OF NAPPIES!!! night time still on, but its so cool not having nappies to wash every 2nd day!
also no big fat nappy butt!!!

morning girls, posting you all first. so you are the first to know apart from Steve and Lakshman (sort of!)

Tested this morning and got a
less panicky than the first time, but still quite surprised. We only DTD once and on the day O had just occurred. It was more of let's do a practise run as we were really going to get into it in the next cycle. We better be careful whenever we DTD in the future!
I hardly slept as I was thinking of testing and FMU and the more I thought of FMU the more I had to pee in the middle of the night but held till 5.30.
Steve went to have a shower while i was waiting for results and I went to show him. He wanted to do a thumbs up but instead stuck his middle finger out!
We're hoping all goes well, bub will be due at the end of Aug, might have the same birthday as my ditsy cousin.. eek.
Lots of Aug birthdays in my family mum, dad, 3 cousins, my brother's girlfriend
anyway, I have an appointment w my GP tomorrow afternoon for a blood test and am going to ring my Ob to book an appointment.

TBH - we had only DTD once, all the other times we were just to tired.. I thought I had already O-ed with temp rise that morning and CM was already no longer EWCM and drying up. That was the only night we did it as a trial run. We were really going to start getting into it the next cycle. So maybe it was a fluke sperm and egg. LOL.

I just booked to see my old ob. I have my first appt and scan Jan 18th and tomorrow I go see my GP for a blood test. I also booked a bed at Westmead Private, will be finalised when my ob does the paper work when i see him.

I still cant believe it. Someone join me please???

MJ is worse today, took her to hossy yesterday as i was worried, but she picked up when i got there, so got her checked over then when home..
saw our GP today and she gave us some pain stop, she hates the taste, but hopefully it will do the trick, she is asleep now, but took and hour of screaming and tears out of frustration, confusion and pain to get her down.... poor thing its so sad to see, i was crying a bit too, when she saw that she starte dto wipe away my tears
