    Hi Girls,

I have some news! Had a scan today and I am happy to say that I have a 9 week along bubba in my belly. Strong heatbeat and wriggling around like a worm. Sooo excited.

Have been agonising over the last few weeks waiting to see that there was a heartbeat, I can now think about it without the fear of mozzing it!

Hope you are all well xx

By the way Prama. I am not telling everyone yet, waiting for 12 weeks. So won't be making mention of it on facebook for a little while. Don't want to be discriminated against at hockey selection!

    Congrats Jo.

I'm starting to feel left behind now coz we're not TTC and probably wont be for another 12 months or more - in fact, I was saying to my mum and Matt last night that the longer we wait the less and less I want another kid. I've always thought it would be nice to have another one, but in the past couple of months I really have absolutely no desire to have another baby ever.
Will see how I feel in a year when my implanon expires.

"if" not "when" there's no rule that says that we HAVE to have another one - but society (and families) seem to expect it.

very true, you dont have to if you dont want to.
some couples dont have children cos they dont want to. i know heaps of them. it's a personal choice, and others shouldnt tell you what to do. but unfortunately, they just do.
maybe they can help pay your child rearing costs too.
a colleague was telling me that if we had another boy, we MUST try for a girl afterwards. none of his business!!
boy or girl doesnt matter to us, and 2 is all we'd like. the same way 1 child is what is you would want.

Danni - I sometimes think we should've just had one. Not coz I don't love the others or anything, but coz she would have so much more. Coz we could have so much more.
I do have to say, once you've had the 3rd, every one does just expect that that is it. No more. 3 is plenty. This one wasn't expected, but I feel like people think I'm an idiot for having another one. For wanting this one iykwim.
Its your life, your body & your choice. I know there's no way I could've ever stopped at one, but thats me
I do have a few friends who only have 2, but they waited a while & have about 7 years between their kids. & for at least 2 of them they are happy with that. They aren't having any more.
