MJ is worse today, took her to hossy yesterday as i was worried, but she picked up when i got there, so got her checked over then when home..
saw our GP today and she gave us some pain stop, she hates the taste, but hopefully it will do the trick, she is asleep now, but took and hour of screaming and tears out of frustration, confusion and pain to get her down.... poor thing its so sad to see, i was crying a bit too, when she saw that she starte dto wipe away my tears :( :(

oh sj - the biggest hugs to you and mj.. wish there was something to make it all go away. it's so heartbreaking..

Bad news - I've just had a lupus flare up, am so scared being pg now. My dermatologist is booked out, left him a message. But I've made an appt w my GP for this afternoon. :(

Well, I think christmas is off... Its all crap... Did I mention that I have AF for the 3rd time in 5 weeks?

Hi all!
A very late merry christmas! We ended up having a pretty good day, apart from the 20 hours spent in the car...
Anth couldn't get home, so I drove down christmas eve to pick him up. Took 11 hours to get there. We turned around & came straight home, which thankfully only took about 8 hours coz the kids slept all the way.
Jesse got a ben 10 battery operated bike. Best thing I could've ever got him! Heaps of cars & trucks 7 some blocks too, but he's in love with his bike! Oh & big boy undies! He wears them when in the right mood :)

We're doing it. Weaning has begun. The last day & 2 nights weren't too bad. Today was a bit harder, but we are getting there.

Hope you and your kids had a great Christmas. Jazz had a great Christmas. She's enjoying playing with her cousins who are over from Townsville...but she's copying everything they do...especially when they're being naughty!

I'm on holidays until 11 Jan. I can't remember if I mentioned that I still have my job for another 12 months until 31 Dec 2010. My boss said that he's intending to keep extending it in 12 month blocks until he gets enough money in his budget to make it permanent.

Once again, congrats Prama. Hope you have a smooth pregnancy.

Hope any who have been ill get better soon. Skye, hope the weaning goes well. I'm so in awe of you for feeding this long. I stopped at 5 months because of being at work and also because I really hated it. Hope I can do it longer when I have another baby in a year or two.

Hiya guys hope you all had a fab christmas..dont know about you but I am exhausted the build up is so huge then its a massive few days at ours and I think New Years will see me tucked up in bed my 9 *L* Finally got back to the gym after eating so much crap food and want to hit my target of 20 kilos by Feb ( mind you we decided to throw the pill packets away anyway) so we will see what happens. Have started to take all my vitamins and get the body ready for when we decide to really go for it.
WIll had a great xmas day his fav gifts being a bike with a handle that we push he has a helmet and when he wants to go for a ride he puts his hands on his head and says bike bike which is really cute. He also got an Elmo lounge that he loves When we went to wrap Santas gifts Nick and I looked at each other and put half of it back in a box for his birthday and wrapped one up for the Salvos. Was kind of obscene what we had bought as had been collecting through out the year..great way to save but a sure fire way to forget what you have bought *L* I got some fab stuff for my camera and yummy perfume and I got NIck a wii which seeing it rained buckets on xmas we had a great time with.Can you beleive my job handed down by my nan is to make the xmas pudding..I made 16 this year for friends and fmaily and guess what..was playing the bloody wii and burn the pudding dry *L* so no plum pudding for us idiot me.
What did you guys get up to??? how were the kids and how are you all doing? Prama hows the pregnancy going? SJ how did things go with dss and his mothers payments etc I read you were having probs, Skye hows your crew doing well done on the weaning and the pants!! thats our next aim begining back at care and toilet training.
We are having a quiet night in tonight watchign a movie and relaxing. Hope that 2010 brings you all health and happiness and all you can wish for.

was going to write more about our xmas but im too tired. my knee suddenly got really painful in the middle of the night and i went to my physio this afternoon and he said my kneecap had moved out of the socket but not enough to dislocate. this is hwat happens when you have hyper mobile joints.
damn, would have been awful to discloate and have a great fall when pg.

will write more later. 10pm time for bed soon even tho it's NYE!

Jesse stayed at mum & dad's the last 2 nights. The first night/morning cried for boob, which he's been doing every morning, but this morning just got grumpy & went back to sleep.
I'm thinking he'll do the usual sit & boob thing when I pick him up, he always does, but when I say 'big boy' to him he knows what I'm on about. I have a feeling he won't be impressed today after 2 nights away from me, but we'll see.
We're heading out west today or tomorrow. Anth has to start work again on Monday. He'll work down there til he hears from the guy who has work here. He reckons in the new year, so I'm hoping soon. Anth wants to go do the solar hot water system course first, & he's lined up to do it soon, so he'll at least wait for that. But he's working away Monday, so I might just stay with his parents for a bit, then come home. Dunno.
Toilet training isn't too bad. He wears nothing through the day, starting him on undies since christmas. He has his days. Most poos are in the potty. He even got through a bout of the runs with the potty!!! Wee's...he's trying. He likes to stand on the toilet seat, lol. He'll stand up there & squeeze the littlest drip out, just so he can flush it! Still wee's on the floor alot, mainly when he's upset though. He's working it out. Going to get one of the aim things you put in the back of the toilet for him to wee on. He'll love that!

Anyway...I best wash some clothes since its been raining since christmas & we are sposed to be going away, lol. Best at least get a load on before we go get the kids.

Here's to 2010 guys :) Hope its filled with more beautiful babies & lots of happiness for all of you :D

Had a great christmas and NY break, got back on Friday.
Went all the way up to Rainbow Beach, then down to Byron Bay then home... mammoth driving trips!!! but was so worth it. Cant believe how beautiful the rest of Australia is )and green) Skye, you live in a beautiful area, didnt go right in, but were close to where you are and its just awesome, we want to move!!!! (will be something that we talk and talk about for a long time though, too much holding us here unfortunatly)
Chrismas seems like so long agi now, but we had a great one and MJ was spoilt!

Prama so sorry to hear about ur dad, My Dad had triple bypass and a valve replaced so i know exactly what you are going through.
Hope your pg is going well...
was hoping for some good news on that front but i guess my cycles are still a bit all over the place.

MJ ias gotten bad with the smacking and hair pulling, i think that it was cos she go so tired when we were away, most days at the beach and so much other children nteraction, she just went and went all day - although i did enforce naps in the day, but a bit hard when its so hot!

Prama congrats on your pg that is wonderful news I hope everything goes smoothly. Sorry to read about your dad, I hope that everything goes well with his operation.

Very busy year for us with the usual hockey commitments! Both Mark & I captained our teams and won premierships which was fantastic. I also played for the Victorian 35's at the National Championships which was a great experience.

Christmas and New Year were fantastic. My parents & brother were over from America so it was the first time our whole family had been together since our wedding in 2002.

Caitlin is growing fast and I am amazed every day at how her speech is coming along. Just preparing for her 2nd birthday on the 27th - scary that it is 2 years already!

Will try and get on more often to see how you are all going!

Skye - so cute with the TT isnt it :) MJ is running to the potty now and doing a poo, then coming and telling me ... look mummy, look and so proud of her poo, i have to flush it, wipe the potty and then she sits down again and tries to do more (which she usually does!) oh and she doesnt like me in the room if she is pooing either!

Last week she started calling us Mummy and Daddy - more like Mum-mee and Dad-dee and also calls herself Moywee dane... so cute, although i am alittle sad that i am no longer Mum-mum and that she is getting older - really growing up now, its amazing.
She pulled the flash cards out the other day (we rarely look at them) and named nearly all of them! i cant believe how many words that she has, its amazing really... her new favourite word is heavy (hebbee) an she fills her watering can to much so she can try and carry is around saying hebbee!!!

SJ - Caitlin has started calling us Mummy & Daddy instead of Mumma & Dadda also. She switched between the 2. I was a little bit sad at first but it still sounds cute when she calls out to you!

Anyone else getting pleases & thankyou's? I started getting Jesse to say it now & then & today he said them both all by himself once each! So proud :)

lakshman has been saying ta for a long while, but no pls yet. he now often says "no, mine!!"

We are getting peese when she wants something and anku when I say to her "what do you say" after giving her something. But now she thinks if she says please she will get what she wants even if we have said no so she is learning the hard way that she doesn't always get what she wants even if she asks nicely! It is so cute the more they talk and they seem to say more and more everyday!

Prama - glad the scan went well. Are you guys going to find out the sex or wait for a surprise?

We have hasd please (pees) and thankyou (dook dou) for ages, now we get an excited Yass Pees if it is something like ice cream that we are offering or a peees if she wants something.
Like some of the others, she began to expect what ever she was asking for when she said please, so she started asking for 'Last One' or 'Last one pees', when that stopped working she would use a combination of 'last One' and Two One (as in more than one last one, two last ones!!!) its so funny :)

I have also noticed how gentle and caring she is becoming, if someone hurts themselves or says ow, she comes straight over and gives a cuddle and wants to look and generally has empathy for who ever it is.
When we were away, DH lost his wedding ring :( :( and when he came to tell me (with shaking hands) i burst into tears.... MJ didnt see the exchange between us as she was off with on of my friends, but she came back while i was still upset and DH as cuddling me, "oooohhh mumma" Ooooh Mumma ohhhh and she had to cuddle me as she could see and feel the hurt.
She also says Sorry (doy-yo) a lot (not because we have made a thing of it) but i guess that she hears it in daycare or occasionally has been told that smacking is not nice and to say sorry (usually to her toys)...
Although she has taken to smacking her toys, then saying, no mack, ooooh dolly, doy-yo dolly and cuddling it...
I love this age, she is so fun, communicative and is learning so much...

Yay Prama on the scan ... i would be over half way now :( it made me sad when i realsied that... Oh well, still trying here thou ;)

SJ are you guys going to try again soon? I know your probably not ready yet, just thought I'd ask.

it's so cute when they are chatting away, arent they. lakshman always comes and gives a hug and cuddle, if he's done somethign he shouldnt or if im down. i understand most of his baby talk tho some times it's hard when he's telling me some long winded story! and he's picked up talking with his hands and head like a good indian boy. LOL.

Yesterday after watching In The Night Garden, she ran to me saying "Mummy, Popy in Piggle banket" I realised she was telling me about what happened on ITNG - the Pontipines were in Iggle Piggle's blanket. Cute!!!

yeah, we have started sort of trying, as in not being careful... just sort of seeing what happens - dont really want to go all out and try and then be disappointed if you know what i mean.
Cycles are pretty much back to normal, will see when AF comes this time, if its on time i guess i am back to normal, last month was a 35 day cycle, which is out as i am normally 28-30 days, but i think that i have been o'ing, just atweird times so it means that 'trying' is hard iykwim.

Prama - please dont hold back on account of me, i am fine really, it just sux to know that i would be half way, but it wasnt to be, so i just have to move on... I am so excited for you and i dont want you to not talk for fear of upsetting me, cos you wont.

my dad's going really well actually, back to his fussy self so we know he's ok. LOL.
but the anaesthetic has given him some paranoia, he's afraid of being alone.

lakshman loves roary the racing car. he brings the remote to us and says "whoa wee" we recorded some episodes on the PVR. he only gets about 1 or 2 10 min episodes a day, if we are really busy doing stuff and need him to sit quietly. most days he will just get his books out or play with his cars if we tell him no roary now. a couple of times he turned on the tv himself and got to the planner page. and was so pleased with himself.
i really try to avoid tv, but give him a few minutes. sometimes i sit with him and explain and describe what's going on.. or if there's a song, we dance about.
last week he got extra tv, cos he was so lethargic from his gastro, so i put on a few episodes of roary and we cuddled and watched it.
he's gotten really good with associated what's on tv and in books and real life, especially animals and cars. mostly roary, he points to the characters in his book and to the tv. lol.

So far he's been good with tanties, only when he's really tired and doesnt knwo what he wants anymore, he goes onto the floor. and that lasts for a couple of minutes. let's hope it stays that way!

my ms has been so different this time, last time it was in blocks, really bad in the morning, fine around 10 then worse in the evening. this time it;s all day and suddenly comes and goes. the last 2 days have been the worst so far, i could hardly keep anything down.
my nuchal fold scan in on the 10th, so a bit nervous.. i will be 37 in march.. sigh.

anyway, enough rambling. talk more soon. hve missed you all. our thread has gotten so quiet..

Might be a girl Prama! My ms was exactly the same with the girls. Different with Jesse. Not everyone's the same though, lol.

Finished off the school shopping today. Bought a mower & am in the middle of mowing my forest that hasn't been done in about a month. I'm stuffed, but I guess I better get back to it before mum brings the kiddies home!
