The harness and brace looks like this (look at the picture titled denis brown abduction brace) - Steps Charity : DDH: Conservative Treatment

A total PITA, never mind. Bailey's brace is almost the same as this picture, but it doesn't have the rounded moulding behind his bum - just the steel bar

So you can see why nappy changes suck !!!

ETA - perhaps the harness is needed as Bailey is older and has more movement? I dunno
