Big hugs to you all!

I think we can all sympathise, no matter how much we love our DHs or DPs, they really ARE on a different planet. I completely understand - my DH goes to band practise every Wednesday night, cricket every 2nd or so Thursday and Poker Fri nights once a month (and a few other odd things here and there), while I am MORE than happy for him to have these interests, sometimes we are having tight arse week or whatever and sometimes I think he feels he 'misses out' on things despite all things he does socially!! I NEVER go out at night, in fact I cannot recall ONE time since Bailey was born that I left DH behind at home except when I came to our meet-up last year (and he had a nice relaxing day as I had Bailey with me LOL). I know its not necessarily the same as the your issues but I think that more often than not the woman in the relationship does compromise a bit more, it just seems to be what happens, and it can really get you down when you feel like you are the one making the compromises or just getting on with it despite your own tiredness. And you are right, sometimes verbalising SOME things is just more trouble than its worth
I don't have a solution babe, you know your relationship best but I do want you to know that someone understands. We love our DHs to pieces, but they are not perfect (nor are we LOL). Anyway - if you want to vent, call me or drop me a PM or whatever
