I find that quite ironic that I was writing a post mentioning CatherineL for the first time in ?how many months and whilst I am doing it Catherine pips me by mins to the post and announces herself! LOL Oh well.

I have a very grumpy child here!! She has 3 theeth where you can see the white showing thru the gum and then I also think she has gotten a sore throat like her Daddy and I and so she is sooo unsettled! She has been waking thru the night for hrs at a time which is unheard of here. She has been having Panadol and neurofen for days now without it helping. I think I am gonna give her painstop tonight just so I can function thru the day.

Anyway I must go I have to send some wraps off in the post to a lady who wants to sell them for me.

Cathy - We use Huggies all day, I think you get what you pay for with disposable nappies, its very rare that we have any leaks, even overnight, and I have Bailey in Toddler which are recommended for 11-15kg but he doesn't even weigh 9kg yet, I find the size recommendations are a bit wacky for us. We use Huggies wipes too - I had heaps of J&J from the early days as someone told me they were better, but I prefer Huggies, they stay wetter in my opinion, easier to clean up the poo! I always stock up on nappies when they are on special so I've never had to pay full price and I usually have a stash of 6-8 jumbo boxes. Got some jumbo boxes for $29.99 today - bargain!! I need ONE more Huggies barcode to get Bailey the 2 free Vtech toys they are giving away (toy laptop and toy phone). Work is going really well, its crazy busy so it flies by and I am on my way home before I know it. Thursdays are my day off (as well as the weekend!). Sean is doing an awesome job, he is really enjoying it too, and he is making it easy for me to get use to the change :)

Catherine - congratulations on your pregnancy! Cant wait to here if you have a pink or blue bundle! Gosh you ladies are wasting NO time. As much as I do want a second baby, I am not ready yet AT ALL!!

Bella - it must be the day for it. Bailey was grumpy most of today (until just before bed - DOH!). I took him to the GP as his poo's are all over the shop, he is sometimes doing 8-10 tiny poo's a day and he was constipated on Tues so we ended up getting some Coloxyl after trying all the natural rememdies. His poor liitle bum hole is RED raw, ouchies, he was screaming this morning when he poo'd, hence the trip to the Dr. He checked his anus thinking he might have a little tear or something but its just very raw, we have some zinc and castor oil stuff the chemist recommended and it seems much better this arvo. Not sure what is going on, I told Sean to be mindful to vary his diet and ensure lots of fruit etc is being eaten. Anyway, on top of that tooth number 4 which has been threatening to come through for a month looks like its about to burst through so perhaps its that also? We have our 12 month paed appt in 4 weeks so I am going to ask him about Bailey's poo habits, I am worried that some food intolerances might be the cause, it seems he is prone to constipation, very frustrating!

Nicky - I hear ya on the early waking - Bailey is waking at 4ish and not really going back to sleep properly and I am waking it seems every 10 minutes until I finally get up. I told Sean that I will probably sneak off to the spare room on the mornings that I am working and he will need to get Bailz back to sleep, at least he can nap with Bailey, whereas I have to stare at a computer screen all day - not good when you are tired! I thought he'd stopped the early waking a few days ago but again this morning it all went to hell again!! :(

Bailey is trying VERY hard to pull himself up on things (eg the couch) and getting very frustrated with his brace, but the good thing is that all of a sudden he is weight bearing on his bent little legs, I'm convinced that once this brace comes off, Bailey will be off like a rocket! All we'll see is the dust settling in his wake PMSL He has the most incredible reach - he just leaps on things, and can get from one side of the room to the other very quickly with this bum shuffle/crab manouver thing he has going, I will try to get some footage and post on FB

Better go to bed, here I am whinging about lack of sleep when I could be stocking up on some .....

ETA - Sean took Bailey for a weigh yesterday 8.59kg is the result, and a nice boofhead stat of 47.5cm

Bella: Sorry that J is unsettled. Hope she is feeling better today and that you got a bit of sleep last night.
Nicky: With you on the early mornings! Phoebe hasn't been doing badly but Natty is up at 6am and in our room. Very new for us - we have always been able to sleep in til at least 7. Now she is getting out of bed and hassling us until I get up with her, LOL! Not content to lie in bed with us.
Cathy: We use cloth nappies too, and mostly cloth wipes, but when we are in sposie mode and overnight we use ALDI nappies and wipes, or Curash wipes depending on where I have done the grocery shopping. The ALDI nappies are just fine for us, and I have gotten to the point where I have plenty of cloth and am not outlaying much money at all for nappies anymore. It is really handy with Natty FINALLY toilet training - I imagine she will be in nappies for a while overnight, but I'm so pleased that I won't have to buy too many more for her. Sucks having two in nappies!
We cut Phoebe's fringe last night as her hair has been in her eyes for weeks and we finally lost patience. I was going to take her to the hairdressers with me on Monday and have them do it because I copped heaps of flack from family members for cutting Natty's hair when she was a baby, but once we'd decided, we just couldn't wait any longer. I usually put a clip in P's hair to keep it out of her eyes, but it makes her forehead look HUGE, so I want her to have a fringe :)
BG: Hope you are doing better now, mate. LOL @ deciding to have the poops with your DH for the day. I have days like that so regularly now. Must admit, this week he has been great as we nutted out a few things on the weekend.
What do E's (and anyone elses!) gums look like when the teeth are coming through? Phoebe has her top right tooth and there is a discolouration like a bruise on the left now. I am wondering if that is caused by the tooth coming through or if she's actually bruised it somehow? Like with the bottom teeth?
Krystie: More hugs for you, sweety. When will you have your blood tests etc? Hope your AF behaves and the next cycle is nice and short for you.

Vic: Fascinating theory about TT and talking! Makes a lot of sense. Have been watching vids of CJ on FB when I get a spare minute here and there - she's so gorgeous!

Phoebe is a bit crook so DH is working from home with both girls today. FIL will come over later to help him (so he actually gets some work done). I was really upset through the week knowing that Phoebe was getting sick and Mum arranged with me ages ago to have someone else mind Natty today cause she and Dad have a lunch function. Just bloody typical! Anyway, it has all worked out. Poor thing has such an icky cold and is starting to cough. Natty also has a cold but it doesn't hit her as hard. I am trying so hard to teach her to blow her nose properly but she is scared of blowing into the tissue! Very frustrating.
My best mate had a baby girl on Monday :) I had given her New Active Birth to read during her pg, not knowing if she'd be interested in an active birth or whatever, but she said she did it drug free and even got her physiological third stage! (I was a bit jealous of that, LOL! Especially as it is her first bub.)
Ah, I suppose I should get ready for work. Sigh. I have been reading but finding it hard to get a good amount of time for a decent post.

ETA: Naomi, great news that Bailey is getting up onto his legs :) Very determined fellow. I can well imagine it must be frustrating for him, but I reckon you are right - once he's free of the brace there'll be no stopping him.

Naomi - Hope the Huggies barcodes are ok and your second week of work went as well as the first. I have to go in on Monday so hopefully should find out for sure if can go back part time or not (rumours are we might be getting made redundant) - I just really want to find out so can plan stuff now. Either way is fine with me, am happy to be forced into making a change or happy to go back part time as money is good. Great news about Bailey weight bearing on his legs too.

Amy - Hope the girls are both on the mend. Good work to your friend - now I have CJ I understand why people get excited about friends etc. having babies. Currently I think I am going a bit mad, I keep saying things to CJ like - when the twins arrive, I seem to be convinced I am going to have twin boys next. We are not even TTC at moment so who knows why I am so obsessed by having twin boys at the moment.

i just tried on my wedding dress and it doesnt fit :( wah it fit me when i was 4 months preg and im only 9 weeks and it doesnt fit i feel so fat right now :(

im just waiting for jamie to start walking already im sick of being held onto in the kitchen when im trying to cook or make a bottle other than that its going well ive been getting a couple more shifts at work which help out a bit but i worked till 1:30 last night and jamie ended up waking at 3 with a wet nappy coz DH put him in a day nappy and thats not really helpful im hoping these other night nappies come soon so he can put them on him but at least he didnt put a disposible on him hes getting better lol im training him slowly :rofl:

Vic: LOL @ twin boys! Have a chat to Bridg and psych yourself up ;) I never had a 'feeling' about what kids I would have, but I kind of hoped I wouldn't have boys as I spent a great deal of my life being quite afraid of them and I probably still am to a degree... Maybe it would've been better if I had've had at least 1 boy then and I might've gotten over it... Ah, well. Irrelevant now in my case. I'm going to remember this in winter 2011 :lol:
I have always been a bit baby-mad, and used to covet friends' babies when they had them. I think there's nothing like the excitement of a new life - it's still my favourite special occasion.
The girls are still pretty crook, Phoebe's cough is still yucky and Natty is still sniffing away. Grrrrr, I wish I could blow her nose for her!
Jacinta: Awww, babe don't be comparing sizes to your last pregnancy! The second time round your muscles just go, 'HEY, I've been here before! I remember now... blub, blub, blub...' and they loosen up right away - especially as it hasn't been that long since last time. Doesn't mean you are going to be a mega-fatty, but then it wouldn't matter if you were anyway. You're pregnant! Enjoy it. You will lose the weight after - you are young and healthy. And what the hell do you need to fit into your wedding dress for anyway?!? PMSL! I love looking at mine, but it is probably a good 2-3 sizes too small for me now. It's a dress for a past me.
Bummer about the crappy sleep after work. My DH took a while to get into the cloth thing too, but once he realised how much money we were saving he made more of a concerted effort.

We had a late one last night as we were at my folks' for dinner with some relos from interstate. Natty transferred from the car to bed just after 9pm, and was up and in our bed at 5:45 this morning :o She is going to be trashed today as she didn't go back to sleep. Phoebe is still snoozing away, which is a relief. I really want her to get better.

Will try and catch up with everyone during the week but just thought a would send a quick post.

Well Aaron is doing really well his HC has NOT grown in 3 weeks!! We however have some other news that he is being tested for a Organic Acid Disorder (called GA1 - Glutaric Acidemia) This is where the body has problems in breaking down the protein) It is a rare inherited condition caused by enzymes that do not work properly.
It can be quite harmful as the protein can build up in the blood and urine and can affect health, growth and learning.
It is managed via diet and on Tuesday this week we are seeing a Metabolic Doctor to discuss it further and although it can months to diagnose this condition they are starting him on a diet and are also taking some more blood and skin which will be sent to the US for further testing.
To give you an example only 4 children in the last 12 months have been diagnosed with this at Westmead Kids Hospital.

If you google it goes into more detail but for now I am trying to stay positive that Aaron will be fine and we will follow this until we find a reason for his HC and fluid.

Ahhh the stress is getting me and sorry Bridg for not getting back to your text but my head is all over the place.

What fantastic news about Aaron's head not growing in 3 weeks! That's great news! In regards to more tests for another disorder, well I guess it's good to rule out everything. I'll send you lot of positive and calming vibes your way.

Cathy - Sorry to hear that you have had a miscarriage. I lost a baby before we conceived Kyson and I know how devastating it is. Having children really IS a wonderful gift isn't it? :)
I think I'll have to probably take Kyson dummy off him at some stage (not soon though). I had a dummy until I was almost 3 years old, and I'm determined that Kyson won't be like me, lol.
Oh, and Kyson has jammed his fingers in the kitchen draws a couple of times :( I need to find some safety things that hold the draws closed. I've found some that let the draw open a bit, then you have to push the plastic bit to unlatch it to open the draw the rest of the way, but that sort of contraption won't stop him from opening it enough to jam his little fingers.
Also, I use Pampers nappies. I used to use huggies, but when we did the nappy trial for choice magazine, we really liked the pampers. At first we just used them during the day because I wasn't sure if they'd be leak-proof at night, but now we are using them at night and they've been fine. I find that they are thinner than huggies, but they don't leak, and they just fit Kyson heaps better and seem much less bulky and much more comfortable on him than the huggies did. We tend to use the Coles sensitive brand of wipes. They have a nice flip top box you can put them in, and come in value packs of three. I often worry about wipes because you hear how "bad" they are for skin, but luckily Kyson has never had any problems and has never had nappy rash. We use the Gaia brand shampoo and body wash, although I sometimes use my lavender Akin body wash on him too.

Catherine - How lovely to hear from you! Thank you for the condolences. Fingers crossed that next time we have much better luck! It sounds like Brooklyn and Rochelle are doing wonderfully :D We've been teaching Kyson where mouth, nose and eyes are too. He's getting it half the time, but sometimes as he goes to point we sort of move our face to the right place too, hehe.
I tried your little sandwich rolls and they worked great. I put a little smidge of vegemite on the bread, then half a piece of cheese, and then popped it in the icrowave for 10 seconds and the cheese melted enough to hold the whole thing together really well! I'm going to make some to take to playgroup on Tuesday!
Huge congrats on your pregnancy! I'm another that is thinking "lucky biatch" about you and Jacinta, hehehe ;)

Bella - When you mentioned Jemima "furniture surfing" I fully pictured her in a little surfer outfit with her knees bent and arms out like she's on a surf board, lol! Very cute image in my head ;) I love the dummy spit for food when Kyson does it too. It's hilarious if he's laying on his back because gravity just doesn't help hehe.

Jacinta - In case you missed it in my message to Catherine... yep, I agree with Bella ;) But I'm super happy for you too :D
And don't worry about your wedding dress, mine doesn't fit either! I haven't even tried mine on, but I know I would have no chance of fitting in it anymore. I'm only about 2kg heavier than when I got married, but since having Kyson my hips/pelvis has just stayed wider and my clothes fit differently now. I really should sell my dress, it cost a fortune and should still fetch a pretty penny...

Nicky - I hope your little monkeys sleep in for you tomorrow morning! Sleeplessness is a shocker! Plus I'm sure they never nap at the same time in the day so you can catch a little shut eye too, lol.

Nay - It's great to hear that Sean and Bailey are doing really well. It must be hard enough going back to work without having to worry about how they are getting along at home. What good boys they are! And there's no stopping your little boy is there?! Alreayd weight bearing on his legs even in the brace!!! He's such a great little trooper!

Amy - Thanks for the hugs. I'm going to ring up to book in my blood test tomorrow so hopefully it'll get done in the next couple of days. And af arrived today, so that's good. Hopefully just 29ish more days until we can try again.

Oh, and congrats to your friend on the birth of her little girl! I have the book that you borrowed to her, and I love that book. I'll be reading it again before number 2 is born as well.

Hi - just a quickie, GOD I MISS YOU GALS, but I am lurking to keep up - having trouble keeping up with all my internet commitments tehehehehehe, have updated some pics etc on FB to keep myself (and everyone else) in the loop! But just wanted to say Hi to you all, I miss having time to properly post and read, but on Wednesday night when Sean is at band and Bailey is in bed I am going to write a nice big post with some persies - I'm all yours!!

Well the news yesterday was redundancy - I am ok with that although it would have been easier if could have done the job share, I was quite fed up with the job and sometimes is good to be forced into a change. The package is pretty good but won't get till August it looks like, and if I can't work till then (got to check on that) could make things quite tight till then but we will cope. (I didn't realise that we are allowed to ask for a second year of maternity leave since beginning of this year - I didn't realise that had come in already, found that out yesterday as that allows us to not go back to work and still get package - my normal job because of a load of procedures would have to redo would not be worthwhile to go back just for the three months). It makes life a bit complicated because not sure there is much part time work in my field, so if I can't find something it may be that I have to go back full time and DH goes part time or becomes SAHD, was always the plan after we have had number 2 (NOT twin boys!!:)) but might have to be sooner than we thought. Please don't mention on FB as am friends with people from work around the world and not sure when work is telling people yet.

CJ after a 6:15 wake up gave me a nice long lie in till after 9:00 and have just been speaking to parents on video call and realised is 10:13 and not had breakfast yet! Better get a move on MG in an hour!

Vic - commiserations on the redundancy. I am finding that having a DH as a SAHD definitely has its perks, so if that comes about for you I hope you and Ryan have the same success. I hope it all works out for you one way or another, whether it be an earlier Baby #2 or a return to full time work.

Nic - I agree, 32 (or 36 as I will soon be) is the new 21 LOL. Yay re the no growth in HC but BOO to the GA1 - FFS do you reckon the universe could give you a break? I hope the Metabolic Dr is supportive and helpful for you both. I hope you are going on dealing this new diagnosis, I am thinking of you babe x x

Amy - love the pics of you and Phoebs in Bella's wrap - you both look happy (and beautiful of course). Congrats on having TT success with Natty, that must make life a tad easier! How's work going for you? I am finding that to my surprise I am really enjoying it (must still be in the honeymoon period LOL) I did enjoy work before but thought that I would find it hard to find my passion etc again but to my surprise its all coming flooding back. Yes I'd rather be home with Bailz, but as work is a necessity I am making the most of it.

Kristy - I have often wondered what to do with my wedding dress too, I have considered selling it a few times but I know I won’t. I might hang on to it in case I have a girl, not that I'd make her wear it, but she can cut it up or whatever, I do like the idea of passing it down a generation. I reckon I'd still squeeze into it, but only cos it laces up at the back, so I'd just lace it MUCH looser PMSL :) How's your little walker going? He'll be running marathons in no time hehehehe

BG - how are you, I miss reading your posts (even though I would barely have time to reply hehehe). Are you in an ok headspace about returning to work? I read your FB post about finding C and E snoring together - I love seeing Bailz and Sean sleeping together, when I get out of the shower in the morning on work days I sometimes sit on the end of the bed and watch them snooze together (a bit sooky I know), it’s really beautiful as they often have their heads turned to each other and their faces are only inches apart :)

Jacinta - I've actually put a few size ones on Bailey much to my surprise, it’s just the all-in-ones that go under his sleeping bag, but I guess it’s more because I need them a smidge bigger for his brace, but mostly we are in 0s. I have bought him a heap of winter stuff in size 1 - I think by the time his brace is off in May he will be fully in 1s. Hope you are travelling well with your pregnancy

Cathy - how is your beautiful family going? Cara's pics in the hula skirt are cute, she is standing so well, has she taken any steps yet? I had a chuckle when I saw that Laura had 'liked' something on Cara's FB page, hilarious that you upkeep a page for them, I had visions of Laura online typing away hehehe

Nicky - hope those early mornings of yours are disappearing! I can’t seem to convince Bailey of the joys of sleeping in LOL. We're on the improve though - this morning I was worried he would sleep till after I left for work and I'd miss him (8am), he woke about 740 (but had had an earlier bottle and back to sleep at 6am), but it seems the 4amish wakeups have disappeared again, hoping it stays that way!

Bridg - sounds like a bit of sickness is running through your place, I bet you are exhausted, hope all the boys are on the mend very soon babe. You must have school holidays upon you - have fun!

AFU - I just spent the last hour in with Bailey - his has a temp, Sean said he was grizzly all day and saying Mum, Mum, Mum constantly so I think he is coming down with something. Normally on our thermometer his temp reads at 35.5 (it’s one of those electronic ear ones), but today its saying 37.9 so it’s up 2 or so degrees, he felt boiling when I got home so I gave him dinner which he barely ate and a bath and he slept for 2 hours but woke up groaning. He seems to have settled again, I gave him some dymadon, will keep an eye on him through the night and if still the same in the morning will take him to the Dr - I spent my last RDO with a constipated baby and went to the Dr also, bummer I want to spend the day with my happy baby, not a grumpy sick one, poor little mite :( I think he is starting to miss me a little as Sean said over the last few days at times he seems to realise I am gone and says Mum, Mum a lot which is a bit sad. But they are still doing really well together and coming home is just wonderfully special as his excitement is awesome.

I am catching up with the celebrant doing Baileys naming day ceremony tomorrow afternoon so am excited to organise that. I was hoping our Wedding Celebrant would do it but she doesn't do naming days anymore so she put me onto another lovely lady so hopefully she will be just as good

Work is going well as I mentioned to Amy, I am discovering my old passion and drive, its still there so getting stuck into lots of projects etc which is really motivating and keeping me busy, I almost feel guilty for enjoying my time away from Bailey, bloody mother guilt :o I also have had confirmation from one of the 3 childcare centres that Bailey definitely has a place so nice to have that sorted for when the time comes, this one was my 2nd choice though so hopefully my pestering of the others will result in a place so I can pick the one that is on top of my list hehehehe

hi all - been reading but not replying much lately. in some ways i feel like i have little of value to contribute at the moment and in other ways i feel like i have so much to say and just not enough time to spill it all! this thread stays open on the laptop all day some days, waiting for me to reply and i just dont seem to get to it! am just really tired at the moment and feeling rundown and have decided i need to focus on E and I a bit. so while she is sleeping, i'm jumping in to post. if i cut it short, it's cos she has woken up!

Vic - glad you're able to see some positives from the redundancy - facing the unknown is hard, but sometimes it can open a whole new world of opportunities and get you out of the rut (if you're in one!)

Bella - yay for miss J walking - fantastic! E is getting braver with trying to stand unaided now - she will let go but not for long periods - she likes the safety net of our hands being there! was looking at the pics of J in her dress from grandma this morning - she is such a cutie! the red hair leaves E's for dead too! we definitely have a strawberry blonde heading for red - J is a red red!

Naomi - so glad you're getting back into work with enjoyment. it's fantastic that you've been able to embrace it all. i am in two minds about going back - my brain needs something a bit more grown up to focus on, but i'm going back on general enquiries which is really a no-brainer for me. i'm sure i will get bored very quickly! i know it's a smart business decision for work to put me on general enquiries (less re-training and all that biz) because i'll only be two days a week - but i was damn GOOD at my job - they're missing out by not re-training me to full duties! eejits! ooh, loved the haircut photos - Bailz didn't seem too happy about them though!

Nay: So pleased to hear you are enjoying work! It is great to feel passionate about your work, regardless of whether you were expecting to or not.
I am certainly enjoying my work too. I miss my babies but I am really feeling like I am getting heaps more confident and assured both with my duties and in getting to know the boss. (I was a bit wary of him at first - he's got that "I'm-a-surgeon-and-my-time-is-worth-a-freaking-fortune" air about him. But over the last couple of weeks he has had some more human moments, more like he was at my interview. Phew!) Natty is on and off with the TT. It's quite frustrating really, but it's just like all her behaviour atm. She is just altogether frustrating. I am really struggling actually and thinking of discussing some strategies with the nurse at Phoebe's appt this coming Monday.

BG: Totally know how you feel re this thread! I often think, do I have anything to say? Then once I get started I realise I don't have nearly enough time to get out everything that comes to mind, LOL. Sorry that work isn't going to let you go back to where you want to be. I know you would be freaking awesome at your job - just have to look at your CL posts on here. You are very articulate and clear in your explanations of what are sometimes very complicated questions. Hopefully they'll realise that before too long and put you back where you belong.

Thanks girls for the comments re the wrap. We are very happy with it and I love that I can just toss it in the stroller at the shops and know that if she needs to settle off for a sleep I can just whip the wrap out and wear her. Is handy at home too because Natty has become quite rough with Phoebs so I am reluctant to turn my back on them while doing chores. So thanks, Bella!
We are planning my birthday party atm. I am trying to get a community hall that has a playground attached, LOL! Most of my friends have kids now so I want to make it kid-friendly (it's going to be during the day too). You are all invited of course :) Keep the 18th April free. PMSL!

Really quick post for me and I am sorry I haven't been able to any personals this week :shakehead:

We have had a few issues this week with the little guy.
We took him to the Metabolic Doctor on Tuesday morning at the kids hospital and got the run down on this condition (GA type 1) and at this stage Aaron is being treated as if he has this condition. He was a little unwell and had a slight temp so they were unable to do the skin test. The worst however came Tuesday night when his temp reached 39.6 and we rang the Metabolic Doctor on call who suggested we take Aaron to the hospital to get checked out.
So at 11.00pm we took him in and they looked at him almost straight away ( no need for the 6 hour wait) the doctor had rang ahead to let them know. In a nut shell he has a viral infection and today FIANLLY his temps are back to a normal range.
It is so scary that for the next 3.5 months this is our life.
We have been told that if Aaron Vomits, has diarrhoea, drinks or eats less than usual, temp over 37.8 or excessive sleepiness or low energy we need to call the Metabolic Doctor on call.
AND THIS IS JUST INCASE HE HAS THE CONDITION!!!! I am :pray: so hard that he doesn’t!!

Anyway we are going back next Thursday for the skin test and DH are also having some blood test...:wall::wall:

So if I am a bit all over the place I am sorry in advance and may be lurking more than posting for a little while.

:hug: Nic. I am so sorry for the rough time you guys have had. Hoping he's recovering from the virus. It sucks big ones that he possibly has this condition and that you will need to treat every little bug very seriously. However I am sure you will get into the groove of the routine, you will adapt. And while it SERIOUSLY sucks, you will get through and do what you have to do.
My niece is often very ill as she is immune deficient. They are in regional NSW and I often wish they lived in Sydney. I want for her the calibre of doctors we have here at the kids hospital. I honestly believe Aaron is in the best medical hands possible here. While I really hope his tests come back negative and that he just naturally grows out of these symptoms that are worrying the drs so much, I am certain he has access to some brilliant care here.

yeah, what amy said!! i'm so glad that, IF aaron has this disorder, you have access to the fantastic care you have in the city areas. one of the distinct disadvantages to living out in woop woop is the lack or resources like that!

didn't get to finish posting yesterday, and don't have time today. how is it when DH is home it's HARDER to get ME time? i love my girl,and i love my DH - but when the two of them are together, i feel like i'm getting hammered with extra demands of my time and attention! i cracked it at both of them last night - e was being a pain, c snoring his box off (after telling me he'd settle her cos i was exhausted), so i took my pillow to the couch in the study and left them to it!

Naomi - Hope Bailey gets better soon, sounds like you are coping ok with it the picture of Bailey cuddling you on FB is so cute. CJ has only had one day when had a temp and other wise hasn't been sick - we have been so lucky.

BG - I am so jealous of your garden, we only have a balcony and the possums ate all the plants that were on it that I hadn't killed. For some reason in Australia I don't have much luck with plants whereas was great with them in UK. Any suggestions for a North Facing balcony (does have some shade on it) which are possum resistant much appreciated.

Amy - Just seen your bday invite on FB - looks great. I am 33 this year, and seems funny thinking back to my 30th which was in the UK.

Bella - Hope your trips to the markets have been successful. I love that pic of a friend of yours in a blue, white and red flower patterned wrap. I would love something like that when have number 2 (can you baby wear with twins ;))

Mylitta - Pampers are very big in the UK, and I must say I did find them thinner but just as absorbant when used in the UK - totally different smell (when clean and dirty) to Huggies too.

Nicky - How is the netball and tennis going, hope you had a good girls weekend away too.

Jacinta - Congrats on getting to 10 weeks, but your daily countdown on FB does make it seem like a very long preganancy ;) Does it feel longer to you than with Jamie or flying by?

Bridg - Like the look of the stuff you are making that have seen on FB. I am really enjoying sewing etc but my problem is I get bored and don't enjoy making the same thing twice, so am always experimenting.

Vic - Netball going well. Tennis has finished now until October. I've got sore shins from running on the asphalt. These poor little legs have to deal with that and the massive amount of weight they carry so I feel pretty sorry for them at the moment.

Bella - yay for J walking! Allira went from taking 5 steps max, to walking room to room in about 4 days! It's insane, I've never seen a little one do anything like that before. It took Lachie a few months to gain the confidence to do the same. Can you believe what a difference a few months in a baby's life makes at this age??!! CRAZY!

Nic - Sorry to hear DH has Man Flu. I much prefer to be sick and look after the kids on my own, than deal with Man Flu. LOL. Wishing for great results next Thursday.

Amy - Are you excited about turning 30? I am excited about teh massive party I'm planning on having, but I finished getting excited about getting older once I hit the ripe old age of 18. LOL. I don't think I'll be able to make your party, but keep July 2013 free ;) hehe

Netball is fun but exhausting! I feel like such a loser because it's been so long since I've played... and we've all seen me in the flesh - It's not easy getting this tank around the courts. LOL. I am enjoying it though, and once I get back into my netball groove I'm sure I'll play well.
Still doing the strength training classes each Monday night with MIL and a few other ladies from the area. These classes have def helped me alot fitness wise. Netball will fix my cardio fitness issues for sure though.

Are anyone elses little ones climbing? Allira is climbing up onto the couch, climbing up the back of the couch, climbing on top of toys, climbing up steps... It's shocking! Lachie was never a climber. I had a bad feeling that someone will learnt to climb out of their cot very soon. I think after her party, we will go shopping for a single bed. I don't think she'll be in the cot any longer than another 6 months max.

Ok well, I'm off to relax myself and try and get some shut eye.

Yep, all is ok here. Been busy, and with Jake and Zac at home for school holidays, been extra busy. Has anyone heard from Naomi? I was thinking of her last night.

I'm about! Much better at our house now, the boys are better, Baileys fully recovered, Sean still on the mend, but then after our crazy weekend of sickness I ended up with a bloody 2 day migraine (and couldn't really take another day off work, god knows how I got through work) so I went to bed at 6pm last night. It's finally left me so I feel normal too. Sorry I haven't had much time to post. Am finding that I have bugger all me time atm, but now that we are all well again that should change. Will sit down tonight and catch up and post some persies - How is everyone else?

Sorry for being so quiet lately. The DSS's are on holidays now and I've had them and Kyson to look after during the day. It's hard to find activities that all of them can be involved in. Going for walks would be a good one if I could pry the DSS's away from their electronic gaming devices, lol.

I can't even remember the last time I saw Kyson crawl because it's alllll about walking these days. He's such a pro at it now you'd think he'd been doing it for years. He doesn't need to hold onto anything to stand up, and often just pushes up off one hand now to stand. The last few days he's found it very amusing to take my hand and walk me around the house and point to things like the lights, the tv, the dog outside. It's adorable! Oh, and he loves making the little indian noise (the one where you tap their mouth with your hand while they are making noise).

Also, in the last couple of days his 4th tooth has been cutting through the gum. It's broken the gum about halfway, but still isn't 100% out. This is the second top middle tooth. I'm pretty sure one of his eye teeth is pretty close too.


Nay - So glad to hear that the boys and you are feeling better. We've been pretty lucky here with Kyson and illnesses. He hasn't gotten anything really nasty yet, so fingers crossed that it stays that way. It must be so hard to see them sick :(
How awesome that Bailey has worked out how to crawl! When I read that I was beaming ear to ear. He must have amazing upper body strength, not to mention a very strong will ;)

Bridg - Hope your having fun with Jake and Zac being on school holidays. I imagine that things have suddenly become a lot more hectic hehe.

Jacinta - Love the new preggie avi! The pregnant belly in the avi looks like it's sitting low... Do they usually say that means it's a boy or a girl? LOL!

Vic - Aren't you a clever little cookie making CJ that gorgeous little hat?! I had never heard about the plastic bag thing before, but it's a great thing to know!

Bella - Big congrats to J for her walking skills! Aren't they just so adorable taking their little baby steps. I still swear that Kyson looks too small to be walking. Where are our babies going?! Oh, and I love the new fabrics you got for wraps. Have you thought about making sling rings, or somethign that is really easy to carry a baby on your hip? I have so much trouble trying to use my hugabub to wrap Kyson onto my hip that I've given up. But when I'm out shopping and Kyson doesn't want to be in the pram anymore, it would be great to have something that I could just whip out and stick him in and still have hands relatively free.

Amy - I got lucky for my 30th because DH organised a party for me. I knew about it, but he did all the hard work. Except the invitations because I made them in photoshop. I hope you are having fun planning!

BG - How cute are the photos of E and her cousin in the matching shiny jackets?! Adorable!

Nicky - Luckily Kyson isn't climbing too much. There isn't really much that he can climb in our house though, so he's not getting any practice at it. There's been times when I've caught him up on something that he'd climbed on though and had a mini heart attack imagining him falling!

Nic - I hope your DH is feeling better. Sometimes sick DH's are harder to look after than sick kids! Hopefully he's being a bit more supportive for you now too.



Also, I've sent out some birthday invitations for Kyson's birthday. You all are invited! Even those of you that are inter-state are invited. I don't expect you to come, but I couldn't not invite you because you are Kyson's baby buddies! ;) There are a couple of you that I didn't have addresses for though (Kat, Nicky, Bridg, Nic & Cathy), so I'll post the invite on facebook when I get a chance and put the link in here :)
Nay, I've got one for you too, but haven't popped yours in the mail yet, so it'll be a bit slower due to easter, but his birthday and party are not until May 2nd.

We had Aaron's skin biopsy today and things went well.
I left the room and DH was in there with him and the doctor.
I felt really bad for leaving but in my head I thought that if Aaron could see and feel me crying it would only make things worse.

We he happy since we got home and had a some lunch and a sleep and am sure is not in any pain. He is soooo brave and sooo strong I am a very proud mummy!!
Well we just have a 3 month wait for those results...ahhh the waiting am sure pregnancy was easier than this.

Next step is the neuro next Thursday.....:wall: :wall:

I am just loving Phoebe atm - she is very interactive and sociable. Natalie is giving me some grief at times but mostly she is becoming a very good sharer and she says some of the funniest things I've ever heard in my life.
Nicky, if we ever forget to put the barracade up at the stairs Phoebe will take off at the first opportunity. She loves to climb. The bummer is she has nfi how to get back down again and has tumbled a couple of times when I haven't been paying enough attention :(

Hi Girls.

Well it is all go with our little walker here atm.. She just doesn't stop. We are also having ahard time getting her to sleep. It's been an hr and a half here and counting. I sent DH in about 10mins ago when I just couldn't take any more. She doesn't want to sleep and it is sleep time. She wants to hit me and whack my face instead. OR just whack anything she can in general. I really don't tolerate the whacking at all and so I put her into her cot and then she just screams. Not at all enjoyable. It has only been the last 3 days but it seems to be getting worse. She really works herself up if I leave. Where she used to breastfeed to sleep in about 5-10 mins she is now being a nightmare. Oh well we will battle on. She is getting her 6th tooth now. It is her 3rd tooth in 2 weeks, they are just popping out everywhere.

Bella E has been much the same with the sleep refusal - it's seriously doing my head in. today we left her to play in the cot for a while as we'd both had enough! eventually she grizzled so DH went in and laid in bed with her until she crashed - but it's not a habit we want her to get into. i feel kinda bad though - realise after her nap that she got a new tooth today! oops! that was number 7 and i hadn't even realised!!!

Easter bunny came early (during E's nap - cheeky bunny!) - we're out tomorrow so we thought it best for her to have a calm-ish morning tomorrow before being overwhelmed by the relo's - she had a ball. will post pics in the next couple of days.

Finally - time to post properly! Am finding this Working Mum Time Juggling Caper rather trying of late ;)

Bella - DOH re the whacking!! Very frustrating indeed! My sympathies! While we dont have whacking as such here, we are poking, hair pulling, clawing and eye gouging etc here. I know its just Bailey's 'rough' way of playing but its seriously doing my head in, especially when I'm tired and over it. We are finding sleep habits are changing here too. Still two naps but the afternoon nap is now quite late in the day (used to be about 130pm, now its more 3-330pm, which isn't really a problem, but keeping up with the changing needs of our boy is puzzling sometimes, they change so damn quick!

BG - still only 3 teeth here, Tooth #4 has been threatening for well over a month now, but it seems to have settled down. Hope you got something nice for Easter when the Easter bunny snuck in at nap time hehehehehe

Amy - we put our baby gates up yesterday, Bailey went from attempting to crawl to full on crawling within 24 hours, although I can out run him, geeze his speed is ramping up, he can get from one end of the room to the other in the blink of an eye. We have really started baby proofing - drawer locks, moved the cleaning stuff under the sink to a high cupboard etc and ordered a plasma safety strap online so the little dude cannot pull the tele on top of him (we have a low lying tv cabinet that he can already pull himself up onto - scary stuff!!). Would LOVE to come to your 30th but alas it ain't gonna happen - stoopid distance hehehee! Happy Birfday for the 12th - I remembered that you and Sean share your birthdays. With all of Baileys birthday planning I almost forgot Seans - whoops :o. I bought a few pressies online tonight, hopefully the arrive in time

Krystie - Bailey is definately astounding me with how quickly he has developed in the last few weeks, since he has recovered from his bug he is just showing us something new each day - waving, climbing etc, its quite freaky. Sean has a bit of a growly throat from his bug and has been doing this throat clearing noise and every time Bailey hears him he copies, its bloody funny, cracks us up every time then Bailey starts laughing which makes us laugh more :) I would love to come to Kysons birthday, but I am working on the 1st - I have to work every 7th saturday (which isn't too bad)

Nic - was reading your FB status and I think you should just eat the eggs until you pop LOL I have this theory that the sooner I eat junk food thats in the house, the sooner its gone and I can stop agonising whether or not to eat it :D PMSL. We have a bit of a chockie stash despite planning on buying each other one egg each, I might go raid it after I post this hehehehehe Hope you are Aaron are going well and everything is A-OK healthwise for your special little man

Nicky - I am buying Bailey the maxi-playhouse thats in the current target catelogue for his birthday. I have been looking everywhere for a similar one to Lachie and Allira's Xmas one, but alas I cant find anything, will have to buy a seperate swing I think. Re beds, we went to IKEA today and I had a look at the bed I plan to buy Bailey. Not sure at what point he will outgrow the cot, but as he is such a still sleeper (not sure if that will change once out of the brace) I am thinking we should get some good use out of his cot with some luck - the bed we want to buy him is on the IKEA website, take a peek (you can have it at three heights - ground level, turn it upside down for a normal bed level, then turn it upside down again and it becomes a bunk - its fab and cheap so I can spend the remaining cash on a good quality mattress :) Google KURA reversable bed (and KURA bed tent). The cool tent thing can clip onto the top - its really cool, I would have loved a bed like that when I was a kid hehehehe

Vic - loving your photojects stuff, you are so clever. CJ has some very cool outfits as a result of your handywork.

Bridg - hows the school holidays going? Keeping the twins out of trouble? Have you made a backseat buddy yet? Cant wait to take a peak. I was tidying up our car today and it reminded me of your plans - will definately buy one, it might help me restore some order to the car LOL

AFU - I am really struggling with finding TIME at the moment, I feel so time poor - welcome to Working-Mummy-World Naomi!! I get home from work and Bailey is so excited to see me which is awesome, but pretty much from the moment I walk in the door until I put him to bed he is glued to my side - flattering and cute yes, but slightly annoying, especially when I have to take him to the loo with me (otherwise he chucks a spastic!!). Mostly I dont mind, but sometimes you just need 5 mins - I know you girls know what I mean. I think I might start sneaking in and skulk of to our bedroom to get changed, refresh etc then he can have my full attention for the next 2 or so hours until bed. Tis all still going really well here though, Sean and Bailz are doing great together and all in all I really have nothing to complain about :)

Hope all your babies are doing fabulously girls, and that your Easter was chocolatey!!

Ah, back again finally!
Nay: Your plan sounds good re getting home from work, but good luck sneaking in. LOL, my kids have FAB hearing. Natty can hear the front wire door from all the way upstairs. Often she says, "Who's there Mummy?" before I even have a clue. I am thrilled that Bailey is crawling away, but I so KWYM about the necessity of baby-proofing. Fortunately we don't have any major dangers having done it before with Natty, however I am struggling with bits of things on the floor. Natty's toys have some things that are too small and/or pointy for Phoebe and naturally she tends to gravitate to these. Also the chalk - she loves to eat it. And little bits of food she finds on the floor (if I don't vacuum every day the floor always has bits of stuff all over it. And I don't vacuum every day). I was saying to DH that Phoebe often cries when we put her in the high chair and she gets jack of being fed in there, and then she'll hop out and just hunt and gather for herself from the floor. LOL!
Happy birthday to your DH too - I had forgotten we shared a b'day! I'm sure your stuff will arrive in time. 4 days is usually plenty.
BG & Bella: We are having issues at sleep time as well. I am finding Phoebs difficult to settle in the afternoons regardless of whether or not she had a good morning sleep. It is very frustrating as she has a noticably better night sleep if she has two day sleeps. On Friday night she slept for 10.5 hours! A real rarity. She mostly wakes around midnight these days and sometimes between 4 and 5am as well.
Nic: All the best for the wait, babe. What is the story with the neuro visit? Is it just to check head size etc?
KL: Love the invitation to Kyson's party! We're sorry we won't be able to make it. I hope he (and you of course!) has a wonderful time :)
Nicky: I am kinda excited about the party... I didn't have a 21st as I got married and I kind of feel like my life is about my kids atm what with them being so young so my 30th is going to be very kid-friendly. When it comes to my 40th I am going to REALLY kick up my heels. LOL! Am very impressed by your fitness regime. I think you are doing fantastically. I fell off the wagon after Christmas. I had a goal for my birthday but am nowhere near it. Ah, well - I suppose I can stop making excuses any time now and get back on with it :) Might wait til after my birthday now, LOL!

Phoebe has started kissing! It is just monumentally cute. She doesn't do it on command, but just when she feels like it. It is open-mouthed and very deliberate on the lips. She does it to herself in the mirror too, LOL!
DH and I had an early birthday treat for me today (as he is working all next weekend and on Monday) . We dropped the kids at Mum and Dad's and went to Max Brenner for a chocolatey treat! It was completely yum and a real treat to just have some time the two of us. I had forgotten how nice it was to just hang out with him without having to attend to little people at the same time!
Anyway, we have had a delightful weekend.
Thanks for the comments on FB the other day when I posted that I was a bit sad. It was mainly to do with my BF that had the baby the other week. DH had spoken to her DH and found out that she has been told by the MW to leave bubs to cry :( I can't believe she was given that advice. I have directed her here, but of course didn't want to get in her face cause she has been doing it tough. It just really depressed me! Along with a couple of other things that really don't seem at all important now. Anyway, thanks for your thoughts. Hope you all enjoy the last night of the long weekend. xx

hi ladies! i can't believe how quiet we've all been! life with almost one year olds must be as full on for all of you as it is for me!

just grabbing five to post now while DH entertains E and cooks dinner. she has been rather clingy to me lately not sure if it's a developmental thing or whether she's picking up on my anxiety about going back to work (2 more weeks at home!).

Krystie - LOVE the invites for K's birthday. unfortunately we won' t be able to make it that weekend. we have to take E to the RCH for her eyes that week, and it's my 30th the following weekend (and mothers day the next day - DH gonna be on his toes pampering me i think! lol) - we just can't afford it. if our finances change, we'll let you know, but at this point. sorry babe!

we printed E's invites for her birthday the other day. am so very glad we did the work for my folks to pay for her party. it doesn't feel like we're outlaying much money. have some clothes on layby for her, and a little couch, and last night i ordered her a little lovelinks bracelet (like a pandora) with a bead that i will get the same for my bracelet (before her bday if we can swing it - i'm getting the bracelet for my bday - DH got me to order it though!). hers is a petite one and oh so cute! loving it! have organised pretty much everything i think. just need to send out invites and work out numbers - and how many people we have to cater for with dinner. the slow cooker will get a work out i think!

have posted pics of our Easter - was awesome fun with E. we did have some issues yesterday at my parents place. last weekend my mum was unwell. got a call from my brother, all gung-ho about confronting my dad - he basically treats mum like his slave yada yada yada. bro took it on that he would talk to dad himself so that i was left out of it for now. anyway, after all the ranting and stuff, yesterday he turned up, let his kids go nuts (running in and out of the house, yelling, slamming doors - all while my dad tried to sleep as he's on night shift), wouldn't even OFFER to help (i have a 10 month old and was helping - he has kids that can do their own thing and he did nothing), cracked when his kids were asked to keep the noise down, so he and SIL took the kids for a walk. were there less than 20 minutes before they left. frustration big time! the didn't get back til after the time lunch was supposed to be served. RUDE! they ate the food he expected mum to prepare (apparently dad asking mum to make his work lunch is too much, but expecting her to make a roast dinner for 11 is fine!), then when i got dessert - which i'd put a little effort into, instead of a thanks, i get "you obviously have too much time on your hands" grunted at me. gee THANKS bro! he had two servings though! wasn't happy. i'd also talked to SIL, and we'd agreed that, seeing we're all strapped for cash, there would be no presents for the kids this year. i spoke to her last weekend. so it's not like she could forget. she went and bought stuff for E. now, i appreciate the gesture, but FFS! we looked mean cos everyone else bought for everyone else - but we bought for no one - THANKS AGAIN. sigh

ooh, the other bit of news - there is a pic or three on fb with E in her "bargain" jacket. mum and i were looking in the local target last week, to see what clothes there were to go with E's pettiskirt (see the Easter pics) - couldn't find one, but did manage to layby some stuff for mum to get her or Christmas (ready for next year - she has four grandkids and is on the pension so likes to get in early with stuff) - anyway, we grabbed the little purple jacket, valued at $34 - with the 20% off (if it applied, was only some stuff on special) it would have about just over $27 - but it scanned for $11.10! so we went and checked before we left the store, and managed to get a size 1 for E, and a 6 for her cousin, for $11.10 each! we went back the next day for something else, and checked the price (curiosity and all that!), was down to $10.41 due to the new sale (25% off) - so we got some for friends. not a bad bargain! if it was a smaller store, i'd have told them it was marked wrong (someone put full price at 13.88 instead of 34.00) - but a big chain like Target - well, if they're that incompetent, they kinda deserve to lose the money! well, that's my take. plus i'm seriously broke, so it was nice to get E something nice that was cheap! we didn't find the top we wanted in Target either - found one in Big W....

Hey Ladies!

Long time I know. Been worn out and busy. 4 kids will do that to you hehe. Cara is crying every time I go to stick her in the high chair now (as well as the car seat). Very frustrating. She also doesn't sleep long which is exhausting at times. Refuses to have the dummy any more, and insists on either; A. Being fed to sleep (which is fine, the other 3 did that) B. Being rocked to sleep (omg the pain of rocking at 12kg baby!) or C. Being on my chest and rocked (kind of cute as usually only the little babies did that. I think she misses her little baby days LOL. I would be happy if she just went to sleep feeding. She wakes up 2-4 times a night....I would be so happy to have just ONE wake up call a night. Neighbour's kid came over a week or so ago and informs us her Dad had the tummy bug. So guess who got her first ever tummy bug? Yep, 2 days later Cara was spewing, then Ronan, then a day later Laura. Oh the fun LOL. Spew on the bed, washing sheets, bathing kids... Times like this you do miss a partner.

Easter went well. Cara got one little egg in a little bucket (My little pony). She was playing with the egg at first and putting it back in the bucket..soooo cute! Then had a little to eat. I made it last a couple of days hehe. Took photos ofcourse..all over facebook. :)

Cara is still standing up and crawling everywhere! This will sound stragne, but instead of using my barrier gate (which my 3 year old cannot get over without a chair etc), I have a v.big wooden box of duplo blocking her way. It does that trick and it's easy to step over hehe. She does not like the idea of crawling over duplo (yet) anyway hehe.

Cara is so clingy to me at times...makes it hard to get things done.

Vic: My Mum used to make hats out of plastic bread bags..I think I'm wearing one in an old childhood photo with my staffy (dog) hehe

Nicole: Oh I know what you mean about getting upset when your child is sick. WHen Yassie had croup we had no idea what is was. She was almost 2 and started coughing in her cot around midnight. I honestly thought she was choking to death. I was so upset, and crying at the hospital. But the male nurse there told me not to get upset as it wouldn't help her. I stopped straight away.

Naomi: So excited for you that Bailey is crawling now!! Such a great milestone!

Krystie: Can't believe Kyson will be 1 soon!!!

BG: Love the cute purple jackests!

JwithJ: Hope the pregnancy is going well! Bet you can't wait til you find out the sex!

Amy: Cara kisses herself in the mirror too..very cute! I know what you mean about keeping all the little stuff out of the way when the baby is crawling! I had 3 older kids. When Laura was a baby, even Yassie got one or two things out of her mouth! Scary.

Amy- Glad to hear you and DH had some together time. DH and I have only had it a couple of times, and the longest was an hour, as Logan doesn't cope well without me being here.

Lee- Been checking out the pics on FB, and they are gorgeous! Love that E's new jacket is purple too!

Cathy- As much as I love my boys, after a while, they just fight and argue at anything, so am sort of looking forward to school going back.

Nic- Hugest hugs for my little man having to have the skin sample taken. I totally understand about having to leave the room. When Zac had pneumonia, they had to do a blood test, and I couldn't be in the room either.

AFU, Jake and Zac are back at home after having 4 days with my sister and Mum in Geelong. They actually missed me for once, so that was nice to hear. Logan missed them like crazy. He kept going into their rooms looking for them, and whenever we went anywhere in the car, he kept looking over at their seats wondering where they were. It started raining here this arvo, so looks like an art project might be in the pipeline for tomorrow. I have been sewing heaps! Making some goodies to sell, so will post pics on FB when all finished.

Quick Question - How long are your bubs currently? I have no idea of Baileys length due to the brace and I have been wondering whether to buy him bigger gro-bag for this winter. However I think his 6-18 month one from last year SHOULD fit him this year too as he is on the smaller side of average. I googled the size recommendations, see below. I am thinking the 6-18 months should be fine as he was 8.5kg 3 weeks ago. Its in perfect condition and I dont want to shell out another $90. Anyway - if you tell me your babies lengths it will give me some guidance :)

0-6 months min 4kgs, max 68cm / Grobag length 76cm
6-18 months min 8kgs, max 86cm / Grobag length 95cm
18-36 months min 11.5kgs, max 98cm / Grobag length 110cm

CJ is 73cm - I hadn't even thought of checking length, as I am getting my mum to get me grobag in UK (was just going to get the 6-18 month one) as so much cheaper about 13 pounds so even taking postage into account works out about 25 dollars. If anyone wants me to get her to get one, let me know size, tog and boy/girl design (she can't always get specific designs but for the price is ok).

All good here, have been getting a bit obsessed by knitting and creating again - am selling a few bits of CJ's clothing in the buy, sell, wanted part of the forum to try make a little cash to fund my creativeness till get redundancy money in Aug - doubt of any interest to any of you guys as are stuff that is too little for CJ so doubt would suit any bubs here. Pretty much settled on the idea of me not going back to work till Aug, but in Aug I may end up taking on a full time job and DH going part time.

Ha Cathy I have been knitting with plastic bags too - a hat is a great idea!
