she said i should hear whther i have a second interview by nex week at the latest.
Im doubtfu, i feel sick to the stomacht he more i think abot it - i wasnt this nervous before the interview.
When I applied for my current job I was faily confident from the first interview, but time its very different. It didnt go badly, but Im just not sure

If it is any reassurance, I left the last interview I did absolutely sure I wouldn't get the job. I didn't have the specific experience they wanted, and no tertiary qualifications. And they offered me the job! I was totally not expecting it.

Regarding crawling: of my 4 kiddie winks - my first didn't crawl, he went from commando to walking......now 11 years old - absolutely no problems with motor skills - highly intelligent etc......sometimes failure to crawl is no sign of any problems. DS1 just had a big head, and was disproportionate which made it difficult to crawl. Tat - Reuben has only just started to crawl in the last week, and I thought that was early. don't let them worry you too much.

Ive been thinking about the job stuff over the weekend, and Ive decided Im calling the recruiter tomorrow and telling him I dont want to proceed in the interview process.
How does this sound ??
Its difficult as its a large pay rise if i got it, and we need the $, but things are picking up at work, i just got some really good feeedback from my manager, and Im being sent on a really good training course in March that will enable me to get some industry (IT) certification..Im just not sure Im ready to pass it up..'On reflection the difference in the actual job compared with how it was advertised is a lot, and i dont think its the dierction I want to go in'

Pandora: Good luck with making your decision, it is difficult especially when the $$ are involved. But as you said your work is picking up, so maybe its better the devil you know than the one you don't.
Well Jack is well and truely crawling now, pulling himself up on everything and everyone. It is great that he is moving as he is more content, but it is so much more work. We live in an old farm house and lots of bugs get in through all the well sealed doors and windows (not) so I'm constantly trying to be one step ahead of him to prevent his diet becoming one full on insects.
Jack has just cut 2 more teeth, he has 4 teeth on the bottom and 2 top teeth (with another 2 just about to arrive) he seems to teeth without too much complaint which is handy.
Oh and my darling son has learnt how to squeal, he will be in the highchair and if he wants something or someone he lets you know it. Not the nicest sound in the world, and my placid son is suddenly becoming very demanding.
Hope everyone else is doing well, and not suffereing too much with lack of sleep and teething.

Pandora, how are you feeling about your decision now?
Megs, you are so right about mobility meaning more hard work! We had to go and buy new dessert bowls last weekend - Tom got into the cupboard in the kitchen and smashed the whole lot on the floor. And wasn't he pleased with himself! He chases the cat, he gets into the pantry, and at church, I spend the whole time chasing him down the aisle because he wants to play with his daddy while he's preaching or reading the gospel!
He's just about walking and I'm simultaneously dreading and looking forward to it. At least once he's walking he won't want to crawl through the dirt...
Life has been a bit sucktastic here lately. Nothing serious, we just can't get rid of this gastro bug that has been doing the rounds. Tom had it for ten days, he was really poorly, then Clare had it for a week, and now I've got it. I've got my nieces and nephew visiting this weekend, so I'd better get better in a hurry!!

Still unsure whether it was the right choice or not, and this next one is harder.
Ive got an interview in 90 minutes for a contract role - not ideal - Ive never done one before. Its a LOT (over 50%) more money that I get now, for a similar role to what I have done before.
IT contract roles always pay higher becuase you dont get any leave/super/entitlements on top, and either party can pull out on very short notice. You also are expected to get in and know everything and start right away - which is why I was surprised to get an interview co I can do maybe 70% of the job but none of th rest.
Its been advertised as 10 months + - ongoing and I was told by the recruiter that its very likley to extend or be made permanent.
I love the sound of the job but Id rather have a little payrise and a permanent job if that makes sense?
So I've decided to go ot the interview and see what info I can get from the hiring manager as recruiters are known to lie to get their commission.
DH also had a job interview today but will not find out til next week if he is successful - if he is and I find out in time I definitely will not go for this one.

Oscar is getting over Roseola/baby measles so has been not so fun at our place.
Ooh no - he broke all of them? WE have only got saucepands, trays and tupperware in the lower cupboards and drawers at our plce cos we just could not afford to replace anything if it got broken - at least not for a few months til I get my tax return.
Emma - How id Jade going with the crawling? Oscar is still mainly commando crawling and pulling up to standing. Only sometimes he does hands and knees crawling, and then only a few 'steps'
