Pandora, she's just turned twenty. (I so do not feel old enough to have a twenty year old daughter LOL).

Someone tell me their babies are still up all night please, so I know I'm not alone! Tom is being HELL at night. Can't stand it any more So very tired, and now I've just gone to four days a week at work...

Tm I hope that she keeps sleeping through for you!

Tom slept for five hours in a row last night, from 8pm. I wish it had been in the middle of the night bug it's a start!

I thought sleep before midnight was more beneficial than sleep after? Thats what my mum told me anyway...

TMTM, sorry to hear that you are having troubles on the sleep front. I'm guessing it would be near impossible for you to go to bed at 8pm when he does..

Sorry I can't offer any solutions, "touch wood" Jack sleeps from 8pm til around 7am so I can't complain at all.

No other news hear, Jack is starting to stand for a few seconds, but isn't at all close to walking. I'm acutally a bit worried about his right foot, he walks with his foot on a very sharp angle out. Hoping that it corrects itself.

It might be if I were in bed asleep at 8pm and then slept with him til 1am, but there's just no way I can get to bed that early.

Megs that's sweet with the standing. i love watching their wobbly little selves as they find their centre of gravity.

Tom is a mass of bruises - he is far more confident walking than his balance will let him be, and he keeps falling over and bashing his noggin on things.

Pandora just to make you feel better, my second son Lewis was 78.1cms tall at 12 months. And neither myself or DH are tall people.

Lewis is still a big boy and people often comment and ask if I have twins as he is nearly the same height as Oscar (my eldest) Lewis is acutally 1kg heavier.

Jack on the other hand is a little flea of a thing like his eldest brother so won't be winning any medals in the height dept.

Funny how children can be so different when raised the same, just their genetic makeup I suppose.

I worry for Lewis, he is only 3 yet looks well over 4 and I often have to remind myself and others that he is acutally only 3.

I don't know - three months ago he was 75cm, and he's much taller now. He isn't due for his MCHN appointment for two weeks, so we'll see then. He was in the 85th percentile last time, and I suspect he is still there or higher. We went to get some more shoes for him, just soft little walking shoes, and they don't have them in his size! His feet are size 5/6 already!! I think he's going to be, um, tall. I do tend to have tall kids, though. My eldest daughter is six foot one.

Tom is a full on toddler now - rarely crawls anywhere and has started running and climbing. Oh my goodness he is a handful. I can honestly say none of my other kids have been this much hard work. He's lots of fun, though. He's started playing silly games, which is so much fun. He has also started escaping outside, which is a bit scary... And he takes off at the shops. I'm going to have to get one of those monkey backpacks with the strap.

How is everyone's sleeping going? I think we are finally getting somewhere. I've started alternating at night with offering Tom the boob when he wakes up, and just giving him a cuddle and laying him down, and we're beginning to get four to five hour stretches out of him, which is a relief. Dh and I were getting so run down with the sleeplessness.

Oops, it's all gone quiet... better go and see what Major Tom is up to.

Im about 6'1" and DH is not much shorter, so not that out there to have a bub on the 95th% for height but DS isnt. I know there all different, but its still hard not to compare them.

    Ooh running and climbing??
Oscar pulls up and cruises, but not walking on his own so far.

Jack doesn't look like walking anytime soon. He is also pulling himself up and is finally cruising. Will let go and stand for a few seconds, is so proud of himself when he does that. Looks at me for acknowledgement of how clever he is, then starts laughing and falls down.

Jack is really developing his sense of humour, stubborn, but so cute he laughs at himself all the time. Don't know what the joke is but he finds himself hilarous.

I got one of the jobs I applied for, woohoo! It's a seven month contract but will hopefully extend. Now I have to be good and save!

Oscar has mchn tomorrow so will do an update then.

Well done Pandora!! I hope that it either extends or opens up something more permanent for you!

I'm really loving work at the moment. My position has changed quite a bit and it's a lot less pressured in some ways, but more exciting in others.

I have decided that Tom is officially the naughtiest child I have ever had. He is such a live wire. I can hardly keep up! Maybe I'm just getting old?

He is a tall boy Pandora, although when you said your and DH's heights it probably isn't surprising. But I agree its funny to have a small child first and then have the complete opposite.

Tom is so cut TMTM, the videos you put on FB are just gorgeous.

I haven't had Jack weighed for nearly 4 months, so am hanging out for the 7th of May to see where he is at. He still isn't overally tall, O pants are too long and a bit big around the waist still.

So is everyone organised for the big 1st birthday. Oscar and Lewis are getting so excited they both thought it was this weekend.
