Hi everyone, just a quick one from me cos I need to nap! LOL We had a rough night the night before last with wind....I hate wind....Hunter is such a good boy at burping and farting for that matter but he was very unsettled the whole night...up every 2 hours - sorry if anyone is getting up that often - I think we are spoilt as he seems to recognise night from day and doesnt stay awake in the nighttime - straight to sleep after feeding and burping :-) Thankfully last night he was back to his 4 hour routine - happy mummy! I am someone who likes to sleep though so I still need an afternoon nap! I did all the feeds last night though, DP went to bed at 7pm - poor thing was so tired - he is very hands on and is happy to do the early morning feed. I let him sleep in this morning, but then he woke at 630 and decided we were going on a family adventure - first trip to the beach - DP went surfing and bub and I went for a walk. I realised that I am unfit and it is really hard to feed a newborn when the wind is blowing...but I got there. My first lot of exercise - I am so unfit - but need to lose my fat bum so it has to be done and Hunter likes the pram!
Traylee - Hunter is on Karicare and it is also 50ml lots...he is having 100mls at each feed. The midwife told me he should be having 90mls when we went back last Sunday - on the Friday they told me 50mls and didnt tell me to increase it - stupid midwifes I swear we are meant to be mindreaders! But he seems content with that much (he is having 6-7 feeds a day). They said something about multiplying weight in kg by 150, and this will give you how much they should be having daily....I think! :-)
