Tummy time - Phoenix - If being up looking over my shoulder is the equivalent, Boz is doing great! He prefers that to any other position. Marnikat - I often do a towel and Boz does like it. Can't do tummy time on my chest as my boobs get way too sore! DH does though!! Sleepy - Wow, Boz would never fall asleep on his tummy!
Feeding - Boz is all over the place with feeds and sleeps at the moment. So much for his 'routine'! Now he's feeding anything from 2.5 - 4 hourly and may have a nap straight after a feed, just before or not at all! Makes it very hard to plan anything. Today I had Mum's group and Boz didn't want a feed at 8:15 or 8:30 but at 8:50, when we were headed out the door he suddenly got starving hungry and we were late yet again! Then he didn't feed again until 12:45, then wanted another feed at 3:15. Who knows when he'll want another feed...
Sleepy - My boobs are still sore and full every morning and I often lie awake waiting for Boz to wake up! The let down can be really painful too. Not sure if that will ever improve. My slow cooker is on as we speak :)
Well, Boz has had almost 45 mins of sleeps so no doubt he'll be waking soon...
Take care everyone!

Hi everyone
sorry havent been in for a few days been flat out.
Wrapping- May loves to be wrapped tightly with arms in all my girls have always loved to be wrapped and i have wrapped them for a long time.
Sleepy- We have been sleeping in to long for school was after 8 this morning and then i have to rush around trying to get them all organised. I think i should invest in a slow cooker cause i really have been slack this week with meals just cant be bothered by that time of day what type of things do you cook? i have never looked at them any info?? i am also the same i try to have most things organised the night before to does make it so much easier.
Tummy time- May loves to be on her belly she would much rather be on her tummy then on her back she has to be half sitting up to be happy on her back and wont stay there long she also likes to be up over my shoulder.
Marni- Is the zantac not working for you now?
Just a quick update from us May had a good night last night i am finding the bath really helps her before bed she slept right through last night
Reflux has really got bad and am off to the docs tuesday to get something to help with that has gone from mild to really bad seems to be getting worse
May has had some unsettled days which is not like her at all so am hoping the doc can help me with something.
Today she is even worse because we had to go to a funeral and the windy weather has not helped have just got her finally to sleep now i would say tonight could be bad.
Have got shopping planned for tommorrow with out kids so should be good just to get things done abit quicker and the weather is horrible here.
Hello to everyone else have ran out of time have to go will try pop back later
takecare and have a nice night.
-
Caplay - You can do so many things in a slow cooker. I do curries like butter chicken, and Rogan josh. You can also do casseroles and stews. I love doing chops cut in half with a few tins of diced tomatoes, green beans, spices and onions. Served with mash. Plus with that one, it's like lamb shanks, the cheap version and you can add any veggies you like and spices. A bit of mint and worsetishire sauce is good too.
-
wow sounds like i need one of those do you put it on in the morning? how long do things take etc? i dont know anything about them. Any brand better then the other?? might have to check one out tommorrow
-
This is a me vent thread - sorry in advance.
I have had a shocking day. Last night I kept waking up itchy. I get up this morning and I have hives, lots of them and they have been spreading all day! I have a range of huge blotches and spots and all over itchiness. They are even all through my hair. I have no idea what has caused it but I want it to go away. I have been given polaramine but it really is not doing much. Phoebe's reflux has definately gotten worse and the zantac isn't working and she has spent the whole day yelling and not sleeping and I havn't been able to put her down.
Ok, I am finished whinging and am going to bed in an attempt to escape the itching. Praying that tomorrow is a better day.
-
Oh Marni i am so sorry to hear about the hives must be terrible i have never had them i hope today is a better one for you.
-
Marni - you poor thing, I've never had hives but know they are terrible & itchy. Hoping they start to clear up for you and you have a better day today.
Caplay - I need to get my slow cooker out and start using it more, especially when I'm home by myself. I've got a sunbeam one, it has a removeable ceramic dish thingy (think they all do) and if I'm organised I usually get it all ready the night before and put dish in the fridge so all I have to do next is take it out and pop it in cooker. When I was working I used to put it on a timer (one of those $10 ones from bunnings) otherwise things would be overcooked if it was on all day, I found 6-8 hours on low is generally a good cook time, but it depends on what you are making.
DH went back to work yesterday and didn't I have fun my first night by myself lol, A just wouldn't not settle. She was overtired and grumpy and kept fighting sleep even though she knew she wanted too. She seems to have woken up on the right side of the cot this morning, she currently happy laying next to me in bed talking to her hands. She is starting to yawn and it's sleep time so am gonna give her a top up and hopefully get a hour or so more sleep out of her so I can shower & do dishes :)
Have a great day everyone.
-
Marni - Wow, to you. I hope you can find out what's causing those hives and get rid of them. Sorry the polaramine isn't working either. Is it just you or do the girls have them too?
caplay - I love my slow cooker! It's much bigger than a casserole dish so we can do leftovers and freeze them. I did osso bucco with veges and stock, then added gravy powder before I served it. Yum! I also do a mean bacon and vege soup with bacon bones and my neighbour does spag bol in hers and you can smell it up and down the street! The McCormack's (I think) website has a slow cooker recipe book you can download plus there are threads here if you need ideas but pretty much anything goes. I have a Sunbeam but I think they're all pretty much the same.
Phoenix - Sorry about your unsettled night but glad to hear A has woken happier. Do you think she misses your DH? I'm sure B knew when DH went back to work. Every arvo he's grumpy for me but as soon as DH gets home he's all smiles again. Obviously mummy gets boring after a while!
AFM - Boz had a fantastic night's sleep, didn't wake til 6:30am, which is 11 hours! I was soooo sore though, and still full on one side after he'd fed his little heart out! He's asleep now and is into his second sleep cycle, which is pretty much a first for him since he was a newborn. It will be nice to have him wake up happy and fresh after a day sleep (at least I hope he does!).
Boz is moving from his bassinette to his cot on Friday as it's getting too squishy for him and he wriggles himself into a corner. I'm a little sad cos he's growing so quickly but also happy to see how well he's doing. Any tips for a smooth transition? Do you use sheets and/or blankets or just wrap? Does anyone use a quilt or doona?
-
hi all
Marni - hives? Yuck! Hopefully they go away, or you at least find the cause soon.
Slow cookers - another huge fan over here. I use mine a few times a week. Tend to chop everything up the night before and turn it on late morning. I do mostly casseroles and curries, but find it's also good for a roast or ribs. I think mine's a sunbeam too, about 5L?
Wrapping - thanks for all your tips. I googled the 'double swaddle' and used it on Evelyn last night. She slept from 8:30pm-5am (her longest stretch yet) and still had her arms firmly tucked in even then. She fed then went back down till 8am. Woohoo! I'm trying it out for her lunch time sleep too to see if it will help her transition through to a second sleep cycle. I moved her into the cot yesterday as she too was muzzling into the side, and the did fine. I think it's probably easier at this age when they're less aware of their surroundings. I swaddle and cover with a sheet and a cotton blanket if the room is a bit cool. Her room is generally between 19 and 21 degrees though.
Annabelle has a cold and is being a bit painful. We've had lots of tanties the last few days, and just plain being naughty, but I know she's not feeling great so trying not to be too hard on her. It's tough though when she's chucking a wobbly while I'm trying to feed E.
Damn, sounds like the double swaddle didn't work for a second sleep cycle this time! How are other bubs doing with day time naps? Do you have a set number of naps, and how long do they last? Better go play the resettling game! Needles tomorrow. Eeek!
-
Well I have had an interesting few days. I went back to the dr yesterday morning cause the rash was worse. Covered prob 90% of my body and she didnt know what to do so sent me to the hospital. After waiting forever I got steroids and phenergen. They helped. The rash is much better this morning. Kinda purple in some places while still red in others. I have Claratyne for day time but it really isn't doing much, so I am itchy again. Hopefully this will be gone by the weekend!
Slowcookers - I have one but don't use it as much as I should but have made some yummy things in it! If you are really stuck for ideas the packet sauce section of your supermarket has mixes you can use.
Hope that everyone is having a lovely week!
-
hi all, does anyone no if a baby can suddenly develop like lactose intorelant,
scarlet has has yucky poo for eveyr poo today well from like 9onwards, im not sure if teething could be related, or if its soemthig else
she doesnt seem unhappy just farting alot and yuck poos, she isnt grunting or crying or complaining of it, in fact she has been pretty happy all day
-
Traylee - I doubt it is a lactose intolerance, I think they get tummy cramps with that so she would be unhappy too. If you are worried go and get her checked out otherwise just monitor and see how she goes!
Phoebe is now on Losec for her reflux. We have had 5 bad days to 2 good ones so up went the meds! I think that she has been pretty docile the last 24hrs cause my phenergen has gone through to her! Will start the Losec tonight and hope for an improvement, but have to go back and see the dr in a week anyway.
-
yea ill see about meds soon if her reflux plays up more, she seems to be fine lately though, yesterday avo she played up for about 1hr not eve, went down at 5.30opm, sleopt tll 1.30am, then .530 and then 8.50ish so cant complain,
she brings up a bit still during day though, but not like a full vomit really, and where i saw on the wall the amounts in ml i was like oh no as much as i thought was cming out lol
sorry to hear about your rash to that would suck heaps, i get all rashy and itchy when i drink wine, (allergic i think ) lol lucky i dont like wine
-
Thanks Traylee, the rash does suck. It is getting better but is still very itchy! At least only I got it and not the girls as well. When Phoebe vomits it is a lot and it goes on for about 20-30 seconds. It comes out of her mouth and nose and she is quite distressed after it.
-
ewww yea scarlet had a few episodes of that for a while was pretty bad, she even had projectile ones a few times, but now its just like a blurp out it comes lol, either dribbles out or runs out kinda, hate it when im out and its on me from burping her lol
i usualy sit her on my lap and hold her chin but today i was wlakign around lol
poor thing has barely slept today, but she is in bed now, be interestig to see what time she wakes now, the last few days she has last feed at 5 and down tll lik 1am
but her feeds have beenn off time cause she didnt wake till 9, so oh well
hard to set feed time routines with her when she wants to wake at different times lol
-
hi all
Marni - glad you're feeling a bit better. Do you/they know what caused the hives yet??
Well today has been a busy day. We pretended that today was A's birthday because DH has to work all day tomorrow but had today off. And E had her needles at lunch time. Poor little poppet has been all out of sorts since. She's super tired and a bit crazy, and just went to bed without a feed. I couldn't get her to open her mouth, she just wanted to sleep. She had a feed a bit less than 2 hrs ago but always has a fairly big top up before bed but not tonight. I expect she'll wake in a few hours but that's ok. I expected things to get messed around a little with needles. Hopefully it's not a bad night!
It's been a bit quiet here the last couple of days. Hope you're all doing well!
-
Marni- Hope the rash clears and you are back to yourself soon enough. how does the losec work? is it on prescription?
PM- poor E dreaded needles hope she is ok for you tonight i noticed May got tired to when she had hers and slept quite abit to.
Spews- we have also had the projectiles and out the nose i hate when it comes out the nose our las DD used to do that to and she would actually stop breathing sometimes was quite terrifing at times.
Hope all mums and bubs are well.
May is still abit unpredictable last night woke at 3:30am and didnt settle till 6:00am went back to bed and then had oldest DD in my face at 8:30am getting me up to get organised for school so was a rush morning.
I am going to take May the docs tuesday when DP goes to see what he has to say about her reflux i brought some infant gaviscon to try till i get there does stop the amount coming up but dont think it is helping enough.
for those with babies with reflux do you find at certain times of the day/night it is worse?
i even gave May a bath before bed tonight am hoping she is asleep now.
I didnt have time on wed to get my slow cooker so am going to go sat when mum comes cant wait i love the thought of not having to rush around at night getting kids bathed, tea cooked and everything else.
anyway better go hit the sack (although everytime i get into bed and get comfy May wakes and then i have to get out again i am sure she knows when i go get into bed it is sure to happen neally every night) does it happen to anyone else?
takecare .
-
well think we had a good night,
bubs went down at like 6.30 but woke again at like 8 was up for a bit playiong then, had bottle about 9 then slept threw till 5.30am this morning so thats good for me lol
her nappy wasnt very wet though so i hope things are ok,
yesterday eveyernappy just about was poo up till about 5,
but last night she had bum change then bottle then bed, and at 530 i changed her and wasnt heavy at all really wonder if thats normal
-
Boz is alseep in his cot for the first time. The transition seems to have gone well, I don't think he even noticed the difference!
Marni - Hope the hives have improved by now.
Caplay - Enjoy the next two school-free days!
Spewing - Boz has never spewed, though yesterday he did regurgitate some milk - more than just posseting, but not a spew I don't think. All over DH's side of the bed, lol!
Boz has had green poo every morning since Monday, up until today. The only thing I can think of that I have had every day except yesterday is onions. He's not unhappy at all so there's no reason not to eat them, it just looks gross!!
-
well after going to bed without any supper E slept till 12:30, then fed, then slept for an hour and was unsettled for about 1.5hrs so I fed her again then she went to sleep till morning. She is quite sleepy today though, had 1.5hrs this morning and has now been down for 2hrs at lunch. Not like her at all. I'm making the most of it because I'm sure once the effects of the needles have worn off she'll be back to her normal cat-napping self :)
JLeigh - weird about the onion poo! At least he's not upset about it.
Spewing - E isn't a spewer. She occasionally possets but I don't think she's ever done a real spew. A had learnt the art of projective vomiting by this age.
Caplay - A was always worse with reflux during the day than at night. She was a bit of an arsenic hour kid too, so evenings were interesting but for some reason the reflux didn't bother her as much at night as it did during the day.
Traylee - I'd just monitor the next few nappies and make sure they're wet. Maybe she just needed all the fluids from the evening feed and so didn't wee much.
-
Traylee - i'm with pmc, just make sure she is having enough wet nappies and is mainly content.
PM - Phoebe is the same the reflux is shocking during the day but she sleeps really well at night.
JLeigh - I bet you never thought you would fine someone elses poo interesting hey! lol
Thanks for all the well wishes with my rash. I thought I was better but I get up this morning and it is back! The only thing I think it could be is my body wash. I have never had hives like this before. I went from red spots to full on joined welts to a purple rash. I look like a leper. Also the daytime drugs they gave me do nothing so I took one Phenergen so have been dopey today. On the upside P seems to be sleeping well cause of it! I have done a heap of cleaning for my house inspection Monday, so am a bit tired!
What does everyones bubs weigh now? Phoebe is 5.95gm at 11 weeks! I can't believe how quickly my little bubba is growing. Also how is the breastfeeding for everyone going?
-
Evening everyone
Marni - what a bummer that the hives haven't cleared up yet. What body wash are you using, there are some that make me break out in a rash and super itchy but never hives yet (touch wood)
Traylee - how is S going today? She having enough wet nappies?
Jleigh - who would of thought onions would give B green poo but as long as he's happy and doesn't have a sore belly. YAY for an easy transition into his cot.
PM - how is E doing now after her needles? Hope she's starting to perk up, though the sleepy side effect isn't all bad lol
Caplay - hope your doc appt on Tues goes well and M gets some medication to help her reflux.
Spewing - A isn't a chucker, we've had a couple of decent spews but most she gets the excess milk dribble out the side of her mouth.
Weight - Two and a half weeks ago A was about 4.7kgs, she really seems to have had a growth spurt past week or so. Might do an estimate weigh on our scales at bath time to see but I reckon she's now over the 5kg mark.
Breastfeeding - I did my first public BF in a cafe on Wed arvo mothers group, followed up with another yesterday in a snobby shopping centre when I had lunch with my friend. It doesn't really phase me anymore. A is a power drinker, her feeds are over in about 10-15mins max.
Question - do you still attach your littlies on your breast or do you let them do it themselves? I find A gets on nearly first go now by herself, I still do it sometimes when she gets it a little wrong and it hurts.
Hello to BW, Tiff, Socks, Tina, Sleepy and anyone else I've missed.
Well DH has been 4 days now and we're coasting along. After being so unsettled on Tues night, Wed was a little better but yesterday I'm sure someone kidnapped and swapped my baby lol I managed to get her bathed without her usual hissy fit, fed and down to bed (awake when put down) without so much as a squeak out of her until 6am this morning. She's been good today and I've got her down for a nap before I go out to a friends place for dinner tonight.
Take care everyone and have a great weekend
-
i got scarlet weighed today she was 5.14kgs, so gain of 580grams in 2 weeks,
i am not sure about wet nappies as yet cause she had a wet one this morning, (not her first but second one )
and then next was poo so couldnt tell, and next was po and couldnt tell, and now she is alseep and has been for ages lol so i will no when she wakes up,
mmmm i hope she has wet in her poo when i changed them what would stop her weeing if she is feeding normally she isnt unhappy she has been happy the last 2 days
-
Our bubbas sure are growing!
Breastfeeding - I feed pretty much anywhere now. The way I see it if I was hungry/ thirsty I would eat or drink so why shouldn't she? With attaching I pretty much let her go at it and she gets herself on! I have another that feeds in 15 mins or so too.
BW - How are you going with the relactating?
-
Hi all
Weight- I weighed May a few days ago and she was 4.79kg she is averaging about 200-250grms a week which i think is good have gotta get an appointment to see the health nurse soon though forgot again today to ring every time i ring no one answers thank goodness i got my own scales to weigh her she has grown so much and she is long some 000 all in ones just fit and she will most likely only wear some things once.
Traylee- maybe next nappy change there wont be poo there and you should be able to tell how wet her nap is.
Pheonix- isnt strange how they can change so quick Mays so unpredictable enjoy your dinner tonight.
Jleigh- Thats good B has made the transition to the cot so smoothly hope M is the same when the time comes we have some serious re organising before then though.
PM- Yes enjoy it while it lasts hope you got the things done you wanted to and E sleeps well for you tonight.
Hi to everyone else
We have had a shocker of a day i slept in again cause i was so tired now we are back to the 3:30-4:00am feed and then the whole job of getting her settled again am glad it is the weekend no school thank goodness guess i am lucky i got up this morning and the kids were already dressed had breakfast i am glad they can be independent like that the 2 older ones helps alot.
May has been unsettled all day damn reflux i am counting the days till tuesday i have been pucked on i dont know how many times today i have lost count and the smell poor little thing.and things are made harder as she wont be put down she dosent like to amuse herself she is only happy in my arms or over my shoulder or in my lap she hates the rocker to.
She has cat napped all day on and off everytime i pick her up she just wants to burp or spew she hasnt had a decent sleep today at all i am hoping tonight she does she has been taking alot to get settled again lately so not getting as much sleep as i was she was sleeping right through but thats gone out the window now again but anyway could be worse i guess.
DD3 has been a real toddler the last few days to getting into everything she is not supposed to and the tantrums have started to so lots of fun there with her atm to.
Looking forward to mums arrival tommorrow and to top it all off i have a sore shoulder and can hardly move my arm.
Anyway good thing today i got my slow cooker and am looking forward to using it but cant decide what to try first so many yummy things to have.
Ok enough babbling better go sorry to go on just been one of them days today hopefully tommorrow is better.
takecare everyone and have a good night.
-
does anyone use babylove nappies, od they have wetness indicator,
she has been asleep for ages lol so i wont no till she wakes up, she went down at 5, i hope she wakes before i go to sleep she hasnt been changed since like 3.30ish i feel bad
-
Cap - Oh you poor thing! Its so difficult when they are like that. Even on Phoebe's bad days she is better than Tiana was on a great day so I do know how you feel. Hopefully the dr will help you on Tuesday. Only a few more days! P is on the Losec tablets now, the Zantac just wasn't cutting it anymore. It has only been a day though so I am sure it will improve soon. I also feed her upright on my lap. And she does have days where she just wants to be help. Tues was one of them. Have fun with your slow cooker though!
Traylee - We use Huggies. Do you wake her and change and feed before you go to bed? Thats what I do in the hope that she sleeps longer and it generally works?
-
Hi all. I haven't been getting notifications. :( I just had to read 2 pages to catch up. Lol. But seeing as it's so early, it'll just be q quick one for now. We have a huge day today. We going to see DH's grandma who lives 2 house away. Plus we not staying over night so we gotta drive home later on too.
I bought a 5L slow cooker from K-Mart, the home maker brand for $35. Pretty cheap. But works a treat!
Elijah can attach himself for feeds, when his hands are not in his face. Lol. He tends to want to suck them so I have to move them sometimes.
How are your hives marni? Hope you're feeling better!
Swaddlng - I still wrap E! He won't sleep unless I do. Just use normal bunny rugs. But they work fine.
Hope everyone has a great weekend, and hopefully be back tomorrow to update properly. Xox
-
hi marni no way i dont beleive in waking babies or doing a dream feed i think when they hungry they wake on there own its the only way they break the habit themselves i believe.
anyways she slept from 5pm till 3am, then tilll 7 but only woke at 7 cause we had to put her in her capsule to take her father to be dropped off with the catamaran he is goin sailing on fraser for a few days with his friend and camping
she had a soaking wet nappy lol, and i fed her at 8am and she was wet again so thats good tryin to get her off to sleep now :)
-
Afternoon all how has your day been so far?
Sleepy- hope you have a great day out i looked at k-mart and sore those slow cookers but they had none on the shelf we ended up going to retravision and got a 6L kambrook for $55 were originally $79.95 not on special havent used it yet though maybe tommorrow.
Traylee- thats good S had some good soaking nappies.
Hi to everyone else.
We had a fantastic night just what i needed May was fed at 9:00pm asleep by 10:15pm i was in bed by 11:00pm and she slept till 8:00am this morning which was fantastic last few nights she had been waking at 3:30-4:00am see she is just full of suprises and so unpredictable then this morning i got welcomed with a big puke all over me once again (lovely) and she has been a different baby today sleeping alot better reflux seems to be not as bad today thank goodness.
But Little miss toddler is not well getting teeth i think and very clingy and sooky so if it isnt one it is the other lol.
And i think AF is just around the corner have had a few cramps last couple days went to toilet this morning and was abit of spotting so any day now i think (damn) not looking forward to it returning but i spose the time has to come
question when it is your first period back after having a baby do you use tampons or pads?
anyway have spent all morning washing, pegging, drying, folding and still have plenty more so better get back to it before mum arrives.
Have a good weekend takecare
-
cap i no what u mean about AF, mine returned yesterday but i suspected it to be coming soon enough, as the tues before i had so much ewcm lol so i new it would be coming,
is it meant to be heavier the first return after bubs, as mine is bit heavier than it was before getting pregnant thats all
yea scarlet has had lots of wet ones today, well not lots but eveyr change so thats good,
hubby has gone off sailing i miss him lots lol, so does hayley, she keeps sooking, but we made ginger bickys today to keep busy and i cleaned up abit, did some washing
i found headlice in hayleys hair ugh so had to put some kero in it and use the comb to get it all out, then sent her to shwoer and was the smell out a few times lol
i so hate headlice im so over it, she onl got them when she started school
i have tried the tea tree oil ion her, sorbeline cream, baby oil, hairspray lots and nothign works to keep the buggers away so over it hey, as soon as i see one egg or nit i do her hair why cant other parents do the same thing
-
Traylee AF has always been heavier first time back for me but i am hoping this time it wont be so bad when it properly comes havent had anything else today now so not sure whats going on its on its way though maybe tommorrow.
ARAHHHH headlice i hate them to we have been lucky to only have them twice well the 2 older kids but they are rageing through the schools here always are i just take the precautions to prevent them getting them and havent had them for awhile now i just use the treatment if they do get them and then comb all the little buggers out the eggs that is it is such a chore.
I agree you just wish other parents would do the right thing to.
-
yea and now i gotta keep combing her hair eveyr 2 days to break the cycle thats the only way to kill them off for a while, i just use do it in shower with the comb and conditioner and keep doin it, its so annoying, and worst off hope i dont have them troy isnt here to check wont be back till mon :(. we miss him so much lol hard when ur use to someone being around all the time
-
Traylee yeah i have been lucky to never have them thank goodness as it would take a lot to get them out of my hair it is so thick.
I cant stand to be away from my DP either i get lonely if he goes anywhere troy will be back before you know it.
have a nice night.
-
hey all
just a quick qu - how long were your babies affected by the needles? E has had 2 shocker unsettled nights but wanted to sleep all day (up until thurs we had a pretty good routine and awesome nights). She's also got a bit of a cold and we found out the rash on her face is eczema so i've been putting hydrocortisone on it to clear it up. I wonder how much of her sleepiness is due to the needles.
Fingers crossed we have a good night tonight but I have barely been able to keep her awake for feeds today so she's been asleep most of the day so I fear tonight may be bad again.
-
PM all babies are different but i remeber with our 1st DD she would be unsettled for a week after having needles May was worse 2-3days after her needles and then came good again it could also be from her cold hopefully you have a better night tonight.
-
thanks caplay, i can't remember what A was like after her needles but she was a pretty unsettled bub all round at this age. Fingers crossed all her sleep today has hit reset :)
-
Hi ladies! I am still without a computer at home... It sux I must say!!!
I just wanted to pop in and say hi... and I wanted to show off my new avi!!! hehehe
I hope you are all happy and well. All is very well here, H is great and Miss T is still a happy and fun little terror bum! :D
Take care ladies, as soon as I have a new computer I will be able to catch up on everyone, it's a bit hard in the office with phones to answer, people to serve, a 2 y/o to chase and a baby to hold!!!
Have fun!
-
hi all
traylee - hope you got the lice under control!
tiff - hi! I'd be lost without my computer! Nice avitar :)
sleepy - hope you had a nice busy day :)
marni - how are the hives??
hi everyone else, hope you're having lovely weekends.
AFM: Evelyn slept better last night after her post-needle craziness. Went down at 8, took a little bit to settle for the night but didn't wake until 3am (not quite the 4am that we'd been getting, but much better than being awake all night!) but then wanted to be awake after sleeping all day. It took me till 5am to get her back to sleep but then she slept till 8am. Today she seems to be back to her normal cat-napping self. Still not overly hungry though, only taking one side at each feed. Her eczema is settling down after a few days using the hydrocortisone, but it's obviously itchy as she rubs it with her hands and rubs her face on me if i've got her against my clothes. Hopefully it clears up for a while, must be terrible. Both A and DH get it so it was kind of inevitable but it must be terrible for a baby. Colds are also on the way out thanks goodness. Both girls are still a bit snotty but I think we're on the mend. We've had 2 bday parties for A this week so she's been very spoilt and looks for presents whenever anyone comes over :)
Clinic appt tomorrow for both girls so we get to see how much they weigh and how tall they are. Should be fun :)

where is everyone today?
I just had to express my excitement: E slept 8pm-6:15am! I had to get up and express at about 5am because I was going to burst and leaking all over the bed. And she's been asleep for 2 hrs now for her lunch time nap. Whose child is this?? After 3 days of post-needle craziness it's a pleasant change. Fingers crossed it's a trend and not a once off :)
