Hi all,

Kate - fingers crossed for you hon!! Keep us in the loop!

Leigh - the pic of Lexie on your ticker is so cute!! It's so easy to forget how little newborns are!! Two of my friends have had boys in the last two weeks, another friend is due on the 1st Aug, one on 1st Oct and another just before Xmas so it's been babies galore in my group of friends. Getting a little tinge of cluckiness now and then, but then Sienna has a shocker of a night and I think "Nup, not yet!!" lol
I'm not sure if we're friends on facebook yet - sounds silly but I get confused with people's real names and their blog names - not the smartest cookie in the jar I know!!

Mel - you looked gorgeous in the wedding pics - I remember it was hard to feel glam with a big bubba belly, but you succeeded! Glad to hear bedtime is getting better with Bec. I haven't even thought of putting Sienna in a bed yet, her cot transforms into one but she's so restless during the night (she usually wakes up with wicked dreadlocks coz she moves so much in her sleep) that I think it's a little early for her yet. I feel like I could count on both hands the amount of nights that Sienna has slept the whole way thru, so I certainly don't want to jeopardise her sleep patterns further, lol.

Hi to everyone else - hope you're all going well!!

We had some drama last Wed night. After being completely fine all day, we put Sienna to bed as normal and were heading to bed ourselves several hours later when she starting coughing and gasping for air. So we rushed her to the after-hour Doctor at 11pm, where after a 5 min consultation and $70 later she was diagnosed with croup. The Dr said to head home and monitor her and if she didn't stop wheezing within the hour, to rush to hospital so she could go on a nebulisor (sp?) overnight. Thank the good Lord she settled down after hanging over a steamy bath for 1/2 hour, but it was pretty scary hearing her struggle for air, not to mention barking like a seal!! And the fact that she went to bed completely fine and it came on so quickly was just crazy. Lucky I've got blonde hair coz I'm quite sure I gained a few grey hairs during that saga. She seems to be all fine now, just a bit snotty, but I've been told that croup can be re-occurring which isn't encouraging!! Bring on summer I say!!!

Going to head off now - hubby's out at a council meeting and Sienna's in bed so I'm going to indulge in some chocolate and chill out in front of Masterchef xx
