Alison, I got the wonder weeks book off ebay and it tells you all about the developmental leaps babies make and what weeks to expect a bit of disruption.. I think Amelia may be getting ready to show you some new skills, just give her lots of cuddles

fwiw V is doing a lot of changing things on me too

Has anyone else read the science of parenting? I ordered that too.

Thank you Natty, you reminded me to buy that book so just did off Ebay! Can't wait to read that. Just when you think you're getting somewhere they do a backflip on you don't they lol. Amelia has been asleep since 8.00 am and it's almost 10.00 am, very unlike her during the day! I haven't read the science of parenting, you'll have to let me know what it's like. Oh and not sure if I told you girls but so excited, I expressed 60mls yesterday ha ha! Took me all day but I got there. I said to DH last night at Amelia's last feed before bed, pretty sad when the main feed is formula and the top up is breast milk! On the positive note though I think the fenugreek and making time to express in between is helping.

    Hello All..

Haven't read that book either Natty but it sounds bloody good!

Archie had needles yesterday... it was HORRIBLE!!! He was so upset and i cried my eyes out too! Surely they could think of another way to do it... like. i dunno, put it in a cream or something! haha! No but seriously, he was sooo upset.. i've never heard him cry like that!

On a brighter note though, I ordered a Bfing cushion off ebay and i got it today and it is so freaken AWESOME!!! I used one at the lactation consultant and it was so much easier and more comfortable cos you don't have to hold the baby up to your BBs, and as Archie is quite heavy, the relief is amazing!!!! I highly recommend it to everyone!

Waiting for my iphone to be delivered! Can't wait! I jumped in the pool (fully clothed) with my phone in my back pocket and it hasn't been the same since! Good excuse to get a new phone!

Have to take Brit to the orthodontist today... can't wait to hear how much her mouth is going to cost us!!!!! Also have to make an app to see a paediatric physio for Archie as his body is still looking a bit crooked... he also turns his head to the right heaps more than the left so have to get him checked out.

Going to stay with my sister for the weekend, they live near the beach so that'll be fun.. We are gonna do a spot of fishin (fisherman talk... haha)... i love fishing!! I don't stop til i've caught something... ANYTHING!!!!

    Have a great weekend ladies!

okay how on earth do i find this video of the baby crawling????
i've been looking through fb but can't find it. ?

kymmy i hope archie feels better soon. i must be a weirdo mum, i don't cry or get upset at things like that.. haha. my poor wee ones, no sympathy from mummy! Your hair looks great too, your eyes are incredible!

lol ubba - i know!! but aren't they an awesome idea?!!? Theo is sucking on his taggie blanket as i type! The book i read on security blankets too, suggested getting two of the same type. Just incase one gets lost, ruined or anything you've always got a backup. Mum actually got me two of them from toysrus - she also spotted the sale! Oh they've also got johnsons wipes for 18.99 for a box of 6. I love johnsons wipes. so stocked up!

Natty nope haven't read it. I read the baby whisperer... i think? can't remember the name of it. But i never really did anything they said.. i'm a kinda 'go with the flo' kinda mum.. whatever works, i'll do that! lol. Have heard good things about it tho.

Alison dont stress about amelia going out of whack again! Theo is much the same. Only been sleeping 6 hours over the past couple of nights. crap happens. whatever works! And i'm total opposite. I think chubby babies are jsut the cuttest!!!!!! my gawd they're so cute!! My fried has a dd who is 7 months and 12 kg.. she is just adorable. love her to bits.

Anyway, took dd to music this morning, then did the run around to get myself organised. toysrus for wipes, bigw for nappies (huggies are 2 boxes for 66 bucks ladies!), woolworths for groceries, and target for a new outfit for dd for a bday party next weekend. When i got home i hardly recognised my house!! it was soooooo clean. absolutely spotless! Dh decided he'd clean it from top to toe for my valentines day pressie! woohoo! Cleaned the fans and EVERYTHING! No doubt i'll be surrendering yet again to the leg humping tonight, hahahah!

    have a good one ladies!

Hi Telly - I like chubby bubs, but not really overweight ones with loads and loads of rolls.....chubby and overweight I think are two differen things. My friend's bub is chubby but is so cute, she has little red chubby cheeks, adorable.

Hi Kymmy - ooh, where does your sister live? I'm right near the beach too, be funny if it's up my way!

Hi Telly - sorry I forgot to tell you where to find the video. Natty is right, if you search through my FB page and look at old posts you should be able to see it there. I showed my sister today, she agreed with Natty (funny as my sister is also called Natty (Natalie) hee hee. She said the baby is in distress more than anything not crawling. I did notice she posted on my FB comment about growth spurt that so is Georgia and I haven't had her usual daily bragging email so I'm wondering if something is up, the baby will be 2 weeks tomorrow, we all know that the wonderful first week of sleeping and doing not much else starts to change from week two. I don't like to be nasty and I don't wish anything bad on her but I still think she's in for a bit of a shock when the honeymoon is over so to speak. I just hope her baby is ok, this going 6/7 hours at night without a feed has me a little worried for the bub.

Hi Natty - I'm already finding Amelia heavy, I have sore knees and sore hands/wrists - guess being old doesn't help lol! (there I go with lol again...I blame my nieces and nephews for that!)

Telly - I think I just sent you the video to your FB messages, if it worked. I didn't realise you could send other peoples videos to anyone, that's a worry!
