    argh i'm so tired!
Both kids are asleep, but i'm finding myself drawn to the computer rather than the bed, LOL! Addicted much?

Natty we don't really have any routine at all either. If theo is unsettled i'll put him on the boob. Quite simple. He loves it, and i really don't mind! I couldn't even tell you how many feed he has during the day, its just so automated. You're cranky. Do you have a dirty bum? nope. Do you just want a cuddle? nope. Do you want boobie? yep. haha. its so easy! I was talking to a mW today, and she told me that was great. especially in the heat. She told me they don't need water at all, you just need to give them boobie when they want. NO dummy (she emphasised that), No bottle with water (i know some of you guys do this, just saying what she told me, lol) , boobie is all he needs. And if he just wants to have a quick slurp than thats fine - don't deprive him. We're also like Kymmy. Theo goes to bed in his cot, when he wakes during the night i put him in bed with me (although i must say his time in our bed is getting shorted and shorter - as he is sleeping longer). He could feed 4/5/6/7/8/ times! lol! I really have no idea, cause once he's on, i'm back snoozing! HTH
THeo rolled over the other day too. I wasn't impressed! lol. Told him no more rolling, he's only a newborn! hahahaha - i wish! THey're going to grow whether we like it or not aren't they

JDs mum i'm in the tuckshop arm category too! eeewww, aren't they ugly! Can't wait to rid them! Got my hand weights and my 'intention' is to use them while watching TV. Mind you, they're still sitting in the bottom on the linen cupboard, hahaha, all in time my dear! hehe. Good luck with the gym! Getting up in the morning sounds brave - i love my bed and couldn't think of leaving it when i don't have to. You've got heaps more motivation than i, can you throw some my way pleasE?

Kymmy and Alison i can't believe either of you have 7kgs to lose! You are both looking INCREDIBLE! Every time i see photos of you on FB the green eyed monster appears! haha.

Madame not sure if you're hanging around, or if you're at the beach - lucky girl! Hope everything is well, and i hope these holidays are just what the doctor ordered! xx

AFM - I had my 'six' week check up today with my favourite MW Ruth, Ruth is an elder midwife. Perhaps in her 60's. (now just imagine what she looks like.. so innocent and like a nice warm grandma, who makes you a hot chocolate and cookies when its raining). ..

She talked about forms of contraception, and i told her TBH we don't really have sex often enough to warrant the need for anything other than condoms - hahaha, had a laugh afterwards signaling the end of the conversation. ! Well apparently that wasn't enough, and was a bad idea to say such a thing! She then gave me a big talking to about how important sex is in a healthy relationship How there a many more things other than intercorse that we could be doing, oral sex, using hands... Men have a lot of testosterone and enjoy sexual pleasures. Have we tried the other things? What have we tried? specifics? How often do we have sexual relations? Maybe you could get baby sitter for the night and enjoy an erotic night together... etc etc

!!!!!! WTF!?! bahahahahahah!! It was soooooo awkward. The conversation couldn't end quick enough i swear! hahaha, i feel so dirty!!! hahahaha

    ahhh, anway. Next topic -
Never had any troubles with my rings here either! Probably cause DH and i aren't actually married! lol! I just say DH cause i think it sounds funny saying DP. LIke i'm gay or something! haha - not that there's anything wrong with that. We've been together for 8 years, own/mortgage a home together, have two kids - hell i think that qualifies me to refer to him as my 'husband'. I really don't know if we'll ever actually tie the knot. He asked me about a year ago and i said no. hahaha. So he said he's never asking again (I said no because i'm sick of people 'expecting' us to get married.. i'll do it when you stop asking!)

Also very exciting. DH and i have been having a competition on who can get Theo to laugh first. And last night he was sooooo close!!!! I was playing a bit of peek-a-boo. And he let out a 'ahhhhahaaa', but didn't continue the 'hahaha' noise. I called chris into the room, and he did it a couple of times, but he's claiming it doesn't count, and its not a 'full' laugh just yet. (IE. he wants to win the competition ) But anyway, it was very very sweet, melted my heart. Even typing this i have a BIG smile on my face, hehe.

Argh BillyKat- MIL vent - MIL is telling people that she DESIGNED my kitchen!!! AHHH?!!! I really don't like that woman! that's all

OOkay.. I think thats everything off my chest.
    Thanks for listening ladies! haha
    xx

Hi Telly - oh no are you ok? I'm really sorry to hear about your grandad, keep us posted. As for the sex talk from your midwife, WTF!!!!! You made me laugh though. Thanks for the lovely comments on how I look in my pics, the pics must be deceiving, seriously, I'm revolting, if I didn't think it would make you violently ill I'd take a naked pic to prove it! I'm just wearing sleeves to hide the tuckshop arms (I HATE my arms), babydoll dresses to hide the guts and legs and bum. As for the water, they do say it's no necessary for purely BF'd babies but it's water and won't hurt them at all, especially on hot days! Gotta run, Miss Millie is hungry.....what's new!

Oh and I REALLLLLY want a new pram, I've decided mine is fine really I'm just being silly and want something funkier......I really want the Steelcraft Strider Plus but it's so expensive. I wish I'd thought better for the future when I bought mine, shouldn't have bought it so early on!

Ok so the past 2 nights have been freaky...V has gone to sleep without screaming for 3 hours minimum prior...I cant believe it...Last night she fell asleep in my arms at 9 I put her down but she woke so up again but back sleeping in my arms at 10 and in her cot at 11...Woke up at 7!!!! WTF????? She only woke coz I moved her arm from between the cot bars as she gets stuck lol..Happy smiles and some poos since and then she grizzled a tiny bit, I picked her up and back to sleep with no boobie!

Sorry for the me post, just happy (for a nice change)...Last night I started crying I told dh I am so grateful as I felt I couldnt enjoy her before as I was terrified of her crying but now things are changing...touch wood lol.. Thanks for listening.

Telly I hope your Gramps is ok or at least comfortable xx

Hi Natty - that's fantastic well done to V! I'm really pleased for you, you've had it pretty crappy lately so you deserve the break. I hope Shayne can have some of our luck soon as she needs a break too!

Amelia slept 8 hours too although the one night I chose to stay up till after 11.00 pm so I didn't get 8 hours myself LOL - I'm really happy though, hope this is the beginning of longer nights although I really can't complain, Amelia sleeps on average 6 hours anyway at the moment and she's a good baby really. Of course as soon as you say these things it turns to s**t so I could be saying something different tomorrow! I think the mums and bubs swimming class yesterday tired her out. It was really good, we did half an hour with the bubs in the water and she loves the water....they sang nursery rhymes etc (have to brush up on those!) and then you put them in their prams and we got back in and did some proper exercise, she just slept the rest of the time! The only bummer is that you can't book ahead and the next 2 weeks are full so I can't get in again for 3 weeks, ridiculous!

Am off visiting a friend today, she's been travelling so hasn't seen Amelia since hospital when she was 2 days old! DH was down at our holiday house finishing off more stuff last night so I had my first night alone with Amelia (other than in the hospital). Look forward to him coming home today.

    Hope everyone is well. xx

C'mon girls....it's going to be my night tonight...I can feel it.

She's down in her cot. She's been in since 8:30 and it's now 9:40 and no noise from her yet. She has been feeding on and off me all afternoon and then had about 100ml of formula before she went down....

FINGERS CROSSED PLEASE!!! DH better not try it on tonight cause it's not happening!! I'm not wasting my sleep time! He he!

    Moening! (already...lol)

Shayna I really hope you got some sleep last night, hopefully the formula was enough to tide her over - maybe you could give it to her later in the night or an extra FF? I know breastfeeding is supposed to work on supply and demand, but Im pretty sure (correct me if m wrong) your supply can drop in the evening, so maybe she's just not getting enough at that time?. Plus if she is feeding all day and you arent getting any sleep then you probably wont be producing milk as effectively KWIM. xxx

Natty- You crack me up with your little comments. I used to be funny too but I seem to have lost it - Ill blame the baby brain and lack of sleep, Im sure it will come back - I hope! V sounds like such a great little girl sleeping so well. She is a little bit older than Ruby so Im hoping we are at the same stage as you in a few weeks

Alison- Your swimming class sounds great! I will check if there is something like that around where I live. Nice to hear Amelia is sleeping so well, You;ll just have to make sure you get to bed earlier so you can benifit from it!

Telly- I hope the night was ok for your Grandpa, its sad when someone close goes into hopsital, even worse when you are told they wont make it.

Billy- Been thinking about your posts on Ella's fontanelle - wondering if you have any more news on it or not?

Kymmy- Hows little Archie going? 2 months old and he has a broken bone, hopefully its not a sign of things to come... Wrap him in bubble wrap and all will be fine

Hi Madame and Snowy, hope motherhood is treating you well.

Arimeh- Hope the move isnt too stressful, are you having internet withdrawals??? haha.

Hi to everyone else that I missed

AFM- I caught up with my bestie from high school yesterday, havnt seen her in 13 years! I found her on FB and found out she only lives 20 mins from me. It was a good catch up, she seemed to be the same person I remember.
I also bought a new pair of jeans!! I was looking around for ages and couldnt find anything I liked and then I went into one last shop and I found them. $40 well spent, and not from a shop I would normally buy clothes from either!
Last day of school holidays today! I have to finish covering DD's books - oh what a pain in the arse that job is, I told her next year she can just have her books plain, the stress I am going through because it keeps bubbling or gets massive creases isnt worth it She is so excited, I cant believe my first baby is in grade 3
DS starts 4 yo kinder this year too, I am really looking forward to the 2 mornings and 2 afternoons every week he will be there. Im sure he is looking forward to that time too - he is the type of kid that needs to have alot of stimulation and I am just too tired to give it to him all the time.
Ruby, ahhhhh Ruby. My little pudding. She just needs to learn that night time is for sleeping and day time is for napping. Need I say more?

    Love to you all xxx

Hi Ubba, That is so funny you saying you want to be where we are in a few weeks cos I guarantee you didnt want to be ANYTHING like us for the first 10 weeks..That did my head in and I was ready to get my tubes tied in secret lol..I hope Ruby sorts out her sleeping soon for you too What a good mummy you are doing battle with the dreaded contact..EEEP!
    xx

    Hi Girls!

Hi Shayna - hope you got some sleep last night, Ubba is right, if you aren't getting much sleep than it could affect your milk supply, I know mine is less by the evening for sure, it's why I started the FF's in the first place, now I do them every feed as I just don't have enough to fill her tummy!

Hi Ubba - wow jeans, glad you can find some that fit, I'm way too scared to venture into skirts let alone jeans - it's babydoll dresses all the way for me LOL!

Hi Natty - how did V sleep last night?

AFM - Wel we had our 2nd 8 hour night in a row and am stoked! I do find I still wake a couple of times expecting her to wake up though, can't win LOL. I think we'll have to try her in her cot tonight, she's gotten too big for the bassinette, this morning she was sideways in it with her head and feet touching either side! I feel sad about going to the cot, hope she doesn't mind it! She's cheeky during the day though, she falls asleep on you easily but the minute you put her down she opens her eyes! She's on DH's chest atm and he moved so she opened her eyes, so he was still there and shut them again!!!! Oh and the girl from work that I have spoken about a lot (the one who complains a lot) had her baby last night. How weird is this, so similar to my story, she was due on the 29th, had her on the 30th (same as me), born at 10.16 pm (Amelia was 10.26 pm), 3.2 kgs (Amelia 3.5 kgs), 51 cms (Amelia 52 cms) and guess what, she also had to have a c-section in the end as she wasn't dialating!!!!!! So bizarre. The crack up is though, she text me this morning and she's already complaining that she only got 1 hours sleep last night and the nurses are noisy......hee hee - get used to it! She had the same OB as me and same hospital, I can just see the nurses trying to change shifts, she will be a nightmare! She called her daughter Georgia Kaitlyn, quite a girlie name considering her herself is quite tomboy, she hates pink too ha ha. DH thinks it's a weird choice given her husband's name is George, he said it would be like us calling Amelia Pauline (his name is Paul). Anyway, I have the OB tomorrow for my check up now he's back from holi's and he's across from the hospital so I'll go see her. I bet Amelia will look huge against a newborn!!!!

How is everyone else going, do you find the days all melt into one? I used to look forward to weekends, now I have to ask what day it is ha ha! Oh and DH got a nice wad of cash from a job he did the other day so has said if I want to buy the pram I can.....wahoo....seems like a waste doesn't it but the more I look at it the more I want it!!!!!! I'm such a pram snob LOL.
