    Hello Ladies!!

Guess what?! It is 1 year to the day that Archie was conceived !!!!! I know exactly when it happened as DH was working away at the time........... And that was the day the post man personally delivered my mail....... hahahahahahahaha! So, in a sense it is Archie's first birthday! Might have to have a cake! (any excuse for cake)

Congrats on your new neice Telly!! I bet Theo will look giant next to a newborn! He really is a big boy isn't he!!? Good cow, Telly! haha! I am going to get Archie weighed on Thursday. He is in 00's comfortably. I love them at this age cos they are not so 'fragile' and are so much more human-like! haha!
Thats awesome your sis got married by Elvis! That is what we were going to do!! But i didn't want to go to Vegas pregnant.... I wanna be able to run amok when i go!!
How cute is Kaili!?? FEO!!!! hahahaha! Adorable! She really is a gorgeous girl!!

Alison: Go Amelia! What a good sleeper you have! She is such a beautiful girl!

Sarah: Your photos are just gorgeous!!! You should be a model! I know you were saying that you think you're a bit overweight but you should consider yourself lucky cos you can always change your body (diet, exercise, plastic surgery (hahaha)) but you can't change your face and your face is just STUNNING! And i'm not saying your body isn't cos i haven't seen it!!! Imagine having an ugly face that you could do nothing about!!
I LOVE my Archie too!! He is such an amazing little man! I was just saying to DH that we are so lucky to have him as he is such an awesome baby! I think we are going to start trying for another one very soon...... watch this space!!!
And about the rexona, it is funny you should say that cos a few weeks ago i was complaining that my deodorant doesn't work anymore (either that or i am getting festy in my old age...) so obviously she thought she'd spoil me with a different brand (in hopes i would stop stinkin!!).. But seriously, has anyone else found that deodorant just doesn't work like it used to??........anyone?.....haha!
Things have been a little tense for me and my DH too... having a baby is a big change for the relationship and it's like we just don't have much time for eachother now! It's all about Archie at the moment cos he is still so little. I actually MISS him!! Even though he hasn't really been away, i miss him. And it is just cos things aren't like what they used to be like. I think you just have to learn to make time for eachother, well that is what i am going to start doing anyway. And you guys have so much extra stress with running the business too so no wonder things are a bit tense..
Harper and Tully are gorgeous Sarah, just beautiful! I can just imagine what Tully is like (in real life!) just from looking at his pics!! Wouldn't it be awesome if we could all meet up one day!!!!??? I'm in.....

Mon: Good luck with Jose... I hope you stay strong, for you. You deserve more than that gorgeous girl.....

AFM: My dad has Golden Staph! His leg is in a pretty bad way and he has to have some of the dead skin cut away! He will be in hossy for another 2 weeks and has to have an IV line with antibiotics to his heart for 6 weeks!!! He is feeling alot better though so that is a good thing. They have moved him to a different hospital though which is about an hour away which sucks but it is better equipped for this kind of thing.

I have to go! Brit is waiting for me to iron her uniform..... doesn't she know how to do that by herself yet??!! GOSHHHHHHHH!!! hahahaahahahaah! I am such a good mother........

    Love you all

Hi Telly - yay for your sis, that's so cool good on her!!! Like Madame said, way cheaper than most weddings I'm sure - we did ours fairly cheap compared to some and still spent close to $15,000. ha ha. And congrats to your cousin, lovely name, Amilia is a bit different to Amelia, cute.

Hi Natty - lol, you don't have to justify yourself to me, I'm the queen of changing my mind - truth be known I actually have 4 prams! lol My mum got a second hand one to keep down at her place, I have my original pram that's down at our holiday house now and I also have an antique 1973 Silver Cross carriage built pram that I bought a year ago for quite a bit of dosh and haven't even used it lol! Don't you just love the Strider?! Which one did you get, did you get Strider DLX?? I think that's the only one that you can't turn the carriage around on - one of them does anyway. I just love my pram and love the fact Amelia can face me, I wouldn't have bought a pram any other way, hence why I didn't get a 3 wheeler Phil & Teds. At least with this I can turn her around when she gets older - my Strider Plus collapses like a dream and is so lovely to push, you probably couldn't go offroad in it although I did run it through some sandy terrain a couple of weeks ago and it was fine but it's lovely to push for walking and nice and high etc. You got a bargain mate don't worry it's all good - mine cost $700!

Had another great night, 10 hours again last night, hoping the growth spurt is over. Booked in for some photos for a few weeks time too, the people that did the hospital pics called, they are going to do some Anne Geddes type shots with roses etc., can't wait!

Anyway best run and get some breakkie....might have to change a pooey nappy first, can hear some grunting going on over there!

    Have a great day everyone.

Hi Kymmy - just quickly as we posted same time, OMG it's 12 months to the day Amelia was conceived too as we were charting....well, today was the day I ovulated so I guess it could've been today or tomorrow! Isn't it unbelievable, 12 months!!!!! How fast has that gone. Anyway, gotta go finish my cereal, will read the rest of your post now. ha ha Oh and OMG re your dad, I had golden staph when in labour, it's very serious!!!! They told me I was lucky Amelia survived, not to mention myself!!!! Lucky they caught it in time mate, I can sympathise with him there and wishing him a speedy recovery. xx

Hi Girls - well what a fabulous day, I met up with the BB girls from the December forum (remembering I'm in both) it was so great, us Perth girls here should do the same, it's quite surreal meeting in person! Had a lovely time.

After I got home I got a text from another friend reminding me that we were meeting for a walk so I was only home half an hour and had to go out again but it was only 5 minutes down the road. We went for a lovely hour walk along the coastal path with our bubs, was a bit scary dragging my shorts out and they only just fit - obviously need to continue those walks then! You don't realise how fat you've got until you try your old clothes on, I used to play tennis at lunch time in those shorts right up until I got pregnant and they were loose on me then!

Anyway, Amelia is fast asleep now, she's pooped after today so hopefully she'll give me another good night.

Hope everyone else is well. xx

    Hello Girls..

I feel like cr*p today... I am really stressed out about my dad and DH is not being very understanding. I hate men.
Not true but it's just so hard sometimes... we are so goddamn different!
My dad is getting better but i think it finally all hit me last night, with him and with my stuff going on and i had a bit of a breakdown.. DH says that i always think the worst and thinks i shouldn't stress so much. Probably true, but i can't help it.
This has just made me realise how easy it is for things to go wrong (health wise)... Dad could have easily (and still could if it doesn't continue to get better) lose his foot and that would be just awful!

Sorry for the poor me post. Just feel like i'm having a bit of a breakdown.. this year seems to be going pretty sh*tty so far and i just want things to get better.

    Love you guys x x x

Hi Kymmy - poor girl.......yep, men suck sometimes, they don't think like us mate so just ignore him for now. I can understand how you feel, especially with everything going on for you. I feel for your dad too, people don't realise how serious golden staph is and coming from me who had it while in labour it does hit you how serious when you sit down and think. I very nearly lost Amelia and could've been very ill myself had the doctor not got to it as quickly as he did and thank goodness the antibiotics worked as sometimes the bacteria is resistent to the drugs. I too found people didn't really "get" it when I told them. Anyway, from one staph victim to another I really do wish him a speedy recovery. And to you, things will get better, I know it's not a good start but they say it comes in threes - Britt's horse, your D&C and your dad so that should be it now and it's up from here! xx

Sooooo tired ok so I was a lil naughty last night but still no dtd but I did let him do me a favour lol sorry if that's tmi hehehehe it still counts as punishment ...

Visiting my grand parents today and my grandma was cranky with jose til I actually explained I can't really be that made cos on Friday I did actually tell him not to bother coming home so he didn't so she said to save hitting him with a stick til next time ge does it lmao

Changed my avvy slightly to remind me not to dtd (cause that's about as sting as I can hold out as I'm a softy for cuddles) til he pays his debts and stops going to the Morley ale house which I told him will take a few months.

Kymmie I agree just ignore him lol sounds like a very lucky man ur dad hope he keeps getting better

    Alison we so should!!!!

Hi Mon - you make me laugh lol. You stick to your guns, I'm sure you can find yourself someone else to do you favours if you really need to.

AFM - right, my moan for the day, got my letter from the Govt, I qualified for the baby bonus which I wasn't sure I would but I don't qualify for the family tax benefit payment, as scummy as it is anyway! What irks me is that I've been paying taxes for 21 years now (yes I've been working since I was 16) and they have no problem giving it to people who waste it on drugs and big screen tvs (lol) but oh no I can't have it because we earn too much. Well, my husband has his own business and every year is different and hello I'm not working now so have NO income. I'd rather them give it to me so I can donate it to charity or the RSPCA or something then give it to someone who doesn't use it properly. Sorry, just my vent. They can keep their payment and shove it up their clackers! lol

On a brighter note, I just walked to the shops instead of drove and I nearly died, it took me an hour and I'm stuffed - the hills killed me, lucky I had the pram to hold me up ha ha. It was hotter than I thought too, oh well, great exercise and heaven knows I need it! Mothers group at the park across the road this arvy so don't have to go far.

Hope everyone's having a good one, sounds like Mon has been xx

Hi Natty - I get that some times too, but I also get him coming home and falling asleep on the couch straight away and then complaining he's tired from "working" - as if looking after a baby isn't work. grrrrrrr

Amelia slept from 10.30 pm to 8.30 am without waking last night, didn't really sleep muchyesterday though so that's why, I prefer it like that though. Every day's a little different isn't it!!!!!

Hi everyone....have been quickly reading bit no time to post...Abbey has been a nightmare since last Sat night when I went to that party I mentioned....waking up ALL night....Sun night I was up no less than 6 times and it was terrible....she just won't settle properly and Im worried that she won't be go back to being good again....

DH's suck sometimes and Ive had my issues lately but will vent later when Im not typing on my Ipod....it's hard!!!

Glad everyones well and send some sleep this way please!!

Sorry about that short crappy post above….have been attached to my Ipod while Abbey is attached to me 24/7 and I couldn’t do a long post on that as I hit the wrong keys all the time and I get too mad at it!!!

Natty – I totally get it!!! Looking after 2 babies, the house, cooking etc isn’t a job at all is it??? Dimwits. When we first moved back here I went back to work when JD was 6 months old and DH stayed home with him…..jesus….I was working full time AND having to clean up the entire place when I got home in the afternoon, cook tea, wash, iron and all the rest of it….he did NOTHING! For some reason if he is looking after the kid (s) nothing else at all can get done….not even a bottle taken out to the sink to be rinsed….used to make me absolutely wild when I came to that…..now when I whinge about something to do with ‘staying at home’ I get the whole, Oh I did that….yeah, well you did it with 1 kid and you didn’t do squat when you were at home so it’s completely different to now Mister!!!

Sorry about that….obviously have some anger issues there!!!

Heavenly – Don’t DTD…..you cant anyway – you have too many kidlets to look after!!!! God, DH is lucky to get anything once a week at the moment….lucky to get hello half the time!!!

Alison – Damn right about the Govt and their stupid money….we get squat all and we are both admin workers – hardly a freaking surgeon or something like that!! How can we not qualify for any $$$$??? Drives me nuts and with DH working 2 jobs its too hard to predict what he’s going to earn anyway so I just leave it all til tax time and claim it back then in a lump sum…..absolutely sux. You do the right thing – buy a house, have kids when you are in a stable relationship, WANT to work, have no freakin debt and what do you get? Nada!!

Kimmy – Sorry to hear about your dad, I hope he gets better really soon….not a nice situation and it has been a rough time for you….things will get better I’m sure and you have that beautiful baby boy to keep you smiling!

Hi to everyone else that I haven’t persied!!!

AFM – Well, things have been pretty crap and you can probably guess that from my attitude at the moment….Abbey has been shocking since Sat night….I left her and JD with mum while I went to my BF’s 30th and it was a mess….JD was being a nutcase and tearing around the house and then Abbey was screaming and carrying on so I came home at around 8:30 to give her a feed to try and settle her so I got her to sleep and then JD settled down so all was OK. She called at about midnight and Abbey had woken up so DH went home and I was pooped so followed soon after….just cant party anymore….so since then she has been off her rocker. NEVER ever settling at night….like I said at least 6 times on Sun night so I gave up and slept with her attached to my boob from about 5am for an hour or so….has been the same since then except for last night when it was only about twice then I fell asleep on the lounge feeding her…I hate it….she has been really windy lately and distressing her so that’s probably it….

DH’s sister and her husband are here at the moment and they don’t have kids and I think they think I have the most boring life ever…they keep asking don’t you get lonely at home during the day? Does she always feed that much? Doesn’t she sleep in her cot?? Freak!! Just leave me alone, I’m trying to deal with it the best I can!! And no I’m not bored…this is my life now and I like just sitting around with my kids and staying in my jimmies all day!!! God I hate visitors sometimes….I hate having to wear a bra 24/7 the most!!!

Better go, sorry for the rant and hope you are all going well!!

Hi Shayna - I'm sorry Abbey hasn't been sleeping well, wonder week perhaps? This is just a quicky as DH has just gone home after being away for 2 days so I'm going to go have a loooooooooong shower. But on the subject of the govt money, you are so right! This girl I know who I talk about a lot, the one who posted the video of her baby apparently crawling at 1 week.....well she's just told me they are "only" getting $65.00 a week and it's not much so I shouldn't let it worry me.....I just wrote back furiously saying, that's $250 a month, I get $0!!!! Honestly people, how is she getting that much? Her husband earns over $100,000 a year! I hope she fudged the forms and gets busted. The mother's group girl is renting and they are young and have not much money said she's only getting $42.00 a fortnight!

    God I'm a b*tch.

Will get back on later when I have time. Hugs to all and sending some sleeping your way Shayna - hope it works! xx
