    Hey ladies!

Well, I am doing better now! Only a week between posts instead of a month woot woo go me hahaha!

Mon - I am soooooo sorry to hear about your Granddad! Big hugs hun! I hope you and your gorgeous babies are all doing ok xx

Kymmy - Such good news about your Dad'sfoot! So how long utnil they think he could be completely out of the woods?? He must be relieved - How scary! Wishing you all the best! OMG Archie is so TALL! And soooo cute! Saw his Haircut photos on FB - WOW! I am jealous! Everyone says Cruz has heaps of hair but his is nowhere near as long as Archie's! I love his little grin, he looks so cheeky but so genuine - Definitely a little spunk you have there!! Has Brit got a new horse now?? I think I saw that somewhere?? What did she get?? I'm a massive Horse fan too, lived and breathed them until I moved out of home and couldn't foot the food bill on my own hahaha, I sooo want to get another Warmblood soon and go for my EFA qualifications to become an instructor! Aaaah dreams hey?? Will prob have another bub or two before I get around to that one haha! BTW I know it was a while ago but saw your pics of your dark hair - Damn Girl! Didn't think you could get any hoter but wow, your eyes just POP with the dark hair hey?! GORGEOUS!

Telly - Stay safe up there beautiful girl! I just posted on your Facebook the same thing but thougth I'd say it here too haha - Scary! You'll be fine though, you know you will!! Check in as soon as you get a chance tomorrow so we all know you're ok!! I can't believe how keen Theo is on food already! He is just so gorgeous Telly, is his hair getting lighter?? I saw some pics and it looks that way! Might be a bit of a blondie with Brown Eyes?! Woot woo!! Gotta love dark eyes - I too just LURVE Cruz's dark brown eyes, he got them from DH, mine are green - Unfortunately though I think he got his pasty white skin from me and not his Daddy's lovely "tan easy" olive skin Hope he can keep the freckles at bay at leas! I hated my freckles when I was a kid - Some people sui tem, but I just hated mine Anywhooo, enough dribble about that haha you just stay safe up there sweets, looking forward to hearing all is well!!

Alison - OMG How sad for your new friend. That is just horrible - Makes us realise how very lucky we are though doesn't it?! I'll be sure to hug my baby a littl bit longer tonight after thinking about your porr friend. Don't know how she could cope, probably on auto pilot right now but wow she is one strong woman... How's my little future daughter in law going over on the West Side?? Cruz and I watched your vid of Amelia talking on FB the other day, he was giggling and chatting back to her - I'll have to tap it for you next time haha, she has a beautiful big smile and the prettiest eyes!

Welcome back Mel Are you completely finished with the online store these days?? I bought a Cushie Tushie off you in the early days of our pregnancies, was full of beans back then but still haven't started on the cloths yet - Am a bit intimidated I think! Are you back in cloth now?? Will have to jump on FB and stalk your new pics of Eden! You know maybe there is something in sharing a birthday that makes people similar because some of the quirks and things you write about Eden sound EXACTLY the same as Cruz! Hope you're feeling better soon!!

Ubba - Woot woo go Ruby! Getting mobile already, that's amazing! Are you thinking of having another? How do you find having 3? We're thinking 3 sounds like a good number! Although, I am managing with one but can't imagine 2, actually I can't even imagine when Cruz is mobile yet, maybe I better rethink that number - You and Mel are my heroes haha! I don't quite know what to say about the BF/FF issue but I know that I so mss Brestfeeding and if I could go back, I would have tried harder to stay on track - BUT we only got to 6 weeks so who knows how I'd feel now! You know what's best for you and your bubba though and maybe there is a perfect balacne to BFing AND Formula Feeding? So jealous of your 100ml express by the way! When I tried I was lucky to get 30mls each time - And that barely touched Cruz's sides even back then Best wishes babe xx I also have to check out your new pics of little miss as well!!

Natty - I can't believe how much hair V has!! Almost more than me haha I am jealous! She's beautiful! And she's eating too?! Woot woo! Makes me a bit braver to maybe let Cruz have a go soon as well - Did she know what she was doing with the spoon or did it take a little time?? I am not sure if Cruz would even know to open his mouth??

Hi Snowy, Madame, Shayna and everyone else! I have used up alot of web space already and DH is asking for the computer so just a quick hi until next time!!

AFM - Took Cruz to the CHN on Wednesday, he's 7.65kgs and 62cms - My little chubba bubba!! I think his teeth are definitely moving around, he's always got mething in his mouth, drooling everywhere and seems a bit irritable at times! He did go off his foo for a little bit, was only taking half a bottle and I got worrie but then figured out he was probably bored with the slow flow and got the medium flow teats instead, we use Closer to Nature Bottles and I realised the medium flow teats were for 3 months+ so yea.. Silly Mummy But now he's back to gulping down about a litre of formula a day no worries - LOVES his food! He has started to watch us eat and CHEWS when we do!But he's not grabbing for it yet.. Is that what I have to wait for?? My Bestie who has 2 little girls told me that I should start giving him "tastings" of things, like just the tiniest amounts of mashed veg etc so I MIGHT start doing that very soon after I have researched things properly. He's also waking up in between 4 and 6am the past few mornings, a bit unsettled, always goes back to sleep but wakes a couple of times - What's that about?! Not overly fussed on his breakfast when he has woken up so it's not hunger, his nappy is doing a good job and he's never too fussed on that anyway, nothing else has changed in his environment, sleeping arrangements etc so not sure, could that be put down to teeth you think? A particluar unsettled time in the arly morning? Hoping it's a growth spurt, wonder week or something - ****, reminds me, have to find and buy that book! He's rolling over tummy to back and pushing himself halfway over with his legs from back to tummy, he also slides himself around byoushing with his legs when he's on his back and can make it a fair distance! So no more leaving him in is playset with my back turned for a quick sec while I boil the kettle anymore! He'll shuffle himself into hiding! He's started giving us the BIGGEST belly laughs now, it's hilarious! We just adore our little guy Thinking we might go in for needles on Wednesday - I am devo'd - I hate needle times! Mummy cries more than Cruzy Lucky Daddy will be there to snuggle us both hehe

Am packing at the moment, we move in 2 weeks - I HATE Packing!! Looking forward to moving though, the area is absolutely gorgeous and can't wait for DH to start at his new job! He's finished the odl one now and has a week off in between - Yaaay! Mummy might get a few sleep in's this week! Woot woo! Have found a Mummies Group aready and can't wait to get some sort of a social life happening over there!! Lots of parks, playgrounds, play centres etc - It's a Delfin estate so totally designed with families in mind - We are going to LOVE living there I think!! Woot!

OH and I have only one pram You make me feel deprived! I have my beloved Bootiq Kooper which I adore - HOWEVER I need a more practical pram for jogging/walking/mums and bubs exercise classes etc - Since this group seems to be Pramaholics Anonymous, any recommendations my lovely junkies??

Well, I have been giving DH the evil eye every time he tries to talk to me while I am typing so I best turn my B*tch Switch off and get some loving haha - Bah he wants to use the computer anyway, so my loving will be with the Foxtel remote for a while I think...

Crazy long post huh?! Bet you wish I had've stayed M.I.A hahaha

Much love ladies, wishing you, your families and your gorgeous bubbas all the best!

Snowy - I do have a mental image!! Seriously though, try hot towels and massage it towords your nipple KWIM? I hope it gets better for you I can feel your pain now.

Oh I meant to ask before - those that are FF, what brand are you using? I have been using s26 gold at the moment purely because they come in individual packs but I have heard bad things about it.

Hey Alicia we posted at the same time! Im so glad you came back and joined us - I never did pm you back sorry xx Cruz is getting so mobile! Ha, you'll walk in the room and find him under the couch one day lol! How exciting moving into a new house!! Packing sucks but it will be worth it once you get there. I have 2 prams, a babyco 3 wheeler (it was DS's) and a Maclaren stroller that I got off ebay. One of the 'junkies' might be able to help you better!

Ubba - We are on NAN HA GOLD... Everyone told me it was the best for people who are Breastfeeding & Formula Feeding at the same time lthough I am not sure why this is or what research there is to back that up! We have stuck to it as it works for Cruz, we did try S26 once as quite frankly the NAN is one of the most expensive so thought we might try something that we were told was of equal quality and a bit cheaper but we found the S26 STANK and made Cruz a bit pukey which he was NEVER on the Nan so we used about 1/4 of the tin of S26 and chucked it and went back to Nan - The S26 smelt like off potatoes to us! We won't try anything else now as we just know Nan is working for Cruzy but I have got a few friends who swear by Heinz?? As with everything I suppose it's different for very baby! Aaaaaaah decisions decisions hey?! So many choices! Too many! xx

    Hello Ladies!

Mon: I am so sorry about your grandad. That is great that you went to see him one last time. You must be a lovely grand daughter... to you. I hope you are ok xxx

Hope you are all ok Telly!!!!

Alicia: So glad you came back to us! Gosh you are a lovely one! Cruz is just BEAUTIFUL and looks like a real little character! On the pram thing, I am buying a Mountain Buggy cos we live in the hills and it is very rocky.. I hear they are the best for this kind of terrain and everyone i've spoken to about it highly recommends them. It is a bit of a sore point with me and DH (my pram obssession! hahahaha) But i figure, he has 4 motorbikes now so why the bloody heck can't i buy another pram!?!? hahaha! He can't understand why i would need another one but they all serve different purposes! I never spend money on myself do it's like i am living through my son!! Ah well...
Brit has two ponies, Sunny (Palousse) is 32 yrs old this year (retired) and is completely blind in one eye and going blind in the other and is also going deaf... But apart from that she is completely healthy! haha!
Her new pony Shandy (mixed breed) is an awesome little jumper, she loves it! She is very forward moving but not unsafe and Brit is already having a ball on her! She is going for a ride with the neighbor as we speak! They have asked a neighbor down the road if they can borrow their arena as we don't have one yet! That is also why i want a Mountain Buggy, so i can walk down there with them down the gravelly track..
Never say never... horses is always something you can go back to down the track... who knows, Cruzy just might become a little cowboy!! haha! How cute would that be?! DH is already looking for Archie's first motorbike! I don't know what is worse, horses or motorbikes!! They are both exy and not the safest of sports! I am hoping Archie will be into Golf... or tennis.... hahahahahaha!
My dad is having another op on Mon or Tues, he has to have a skin and muscle graft to cover the massive hole in his foot, then he has to stay still for five days then he'll get to come home (YAYYYY) but he will be on antibiotics twice a day for six weeks. I guess he won't relly be out of the woods for a while yet but so far the news is good so that is awesome!

Snowy: Hope you get that blocked duct sorted soon... Mastitis, as you know, is NOT FUN for anyone!!

Ubba: I'm with you on the crawling thing..... NOT YET! I haven't baby-proofed my house yet!! Archie is doing the same though.. he can actually move from one end of his play mat to another. It is scary....

    Hello everyone else!!

I have to go and hang about six loads of washing! POOO! Better get onto it before Archie wakes up!!

    xxxxxx

Hi Alicia!!! Yay great to hear from you. Your future daughter in law is doing great and sounds like my future son in law is equally as great! hee hee Amelia blushed when I told her Cruz giggled at her video They are so similar, Amelia is 61.5 cms, she was 6.3kgs last week, she is also on NAN HA Gold and if she wakes up at all through the night it's always between 4 and 6am!! She goes straight back to sleep though like Cruz....another friend told me her bub does the same, weird huh! My friend who had a reflux baby recommended NAN HA Gold for me and it's always worked for Amelia, she's never had reflux or anything but she's also never been a spewy baby, not sure if the formula makes a difference to that or not? I am sticking with this one, no point changing if it's working. Are you still BF'ing at all? I've stopped BF'ing now, Amelia won't take me anymore but I still express although because I'm not BF'ing it's really dropped off even more, I only got 10mls yesterday. Will keep persevering, I did run around a lot yesterday though so that wouldn't have helped. If you are wanting to buy The Wonder Weeks (it's awesome by the way) I have the best book store to buy it from, it's in the UK and it's free worldwide postage, the book was half the price it was in Aus. I'll send you a FB message with the details, if anyone else is interested let me know, they sell all sorts of books, not just baby ones!

Hi Kymmy - oh the new pony sounds fantastic, you'll have to put some pics up on FB and yay for your dad, sounds like he might be finally on the road to recovery......fingers crossed it stays that way.

Hi Ubba - if only we could take our own advice. I've come to terms with having to FF Amelia now but if I could express 100mls I wouldn't be doing it. It definitely doesn't help supply though, since dropping the one BF a day I've noticed it has dropped even more, makes me sad but what can you do. As long as mum and bub is happy and healthy, do what works. And thanks re the lovely comments re the girl who's bub has died. I received a text last night inviting me to the funeral, they don't want anyone to wear black and they want kids there. Regardless of the fact I don't know her well I think I will go and show my support, I just feel so much for this girl. Will be a very sad day I feel, not sure how I'll go but will give it my best shot for her sake.

Hi Telly - did you come out unscathed from the cyclone? Have been thinking of you and hoping you are ok. xx

Best go, got the family coming over for afternoon tea today and my house looks like World War III has hit, I have crap everywhere!

Kym - I am really happy to hear about your dad. It must have been such a stressful time for you but you can breathe abit easier now xx. Baby proofing, huh? We have a low line tv unit with all the kids dvd's, the Wii and the dvd player in the open shelves. Oh I forgot about baby proofing...... Actually now that I am sitting on the floor I can see the fan cord on the floor, c.r.a.p I havn't swept up under the kitchen table and the exposed power points. Hopefully Ruby will be good like her big sis and only needs to be told 'no' once- unlike her big bro who still gets told no after the 100th time

Telly- Hoping you are all ok, I guess you have probably lost power. Thinking of you xxx

Al- You must have a lot of courage to go to the funeral, it would bring me undone seeing the coffin. Give her a big cuddle from us BB girls. We all know its nice to have friends you have never met.

    Mon- How you holding up?

    Hi everyone else

    Hey gorgeous girls!
Well i think i'm finally up to date!

Alicia - I'm with Kymmy, you are a lovely one! hehe! x Thank you for the comments on my little man, yes his hair is going quite fair, i have no idea where that is coming from, both chris and i have brown/black hair. I just love that photo of him in kaili's pram, haha, its so cute! Meanwhile your little man is clearly going to be a heartbreaker when he grows up, hell i think he already is! Dark eyes and hair are a perfect combo in my mind! Don't you just LOVE the big belly laughs? Melts my heart! And they're soo easy to get these days! Oh i love this age.. its just beautiful. Theo is heading in for his 4 month needles this week, and his 4 month health check is tomorrow - so i'll find out then exactly how much he has grown, can't wait! I must be a cruel mummy, i don't get sad/upset at all when they get them! haha! Poor little man, no sympathy from mummy! Definately sounds like the boys are a lot bigger than all the girls in our group, isn't that fascinating that even at this age, there is a difference! hmm!

How exciting that you guys are moving! Will be great moving in an area that is family friendly, all the best for the move x

Kymmy - sooo sooo glad your dad is slowly on the road to better health. Gee things must have been scary for a while there. Losing a limb.. crap! Take a sigh of relief, hopefully the next op will go perfectly and he'll be home before you know. I bet he is really missing all of you guys.. would be very lonely! BTW - ARCHIE IS SO DAMN CUTE! haha! I lurve lurve the photo of him watching telly, haha! classic! Thats so cool that your dh is already thinking of his first motorbike. Chris is doing up a yamaha 80 at the moment for kaili, haha! men! Will be just a TAD too big, but you can't tell them that! Cause i grew up out west, we grew up with horses and motorbikes - and i must agree, not the safest hobbies! I remember many stacks, some of them quite serious too! Yuck, booo to your 6 loads of washing, i think i'm going to have about 10 tomorrow... not looking foward to it!!

Alison - I really don't know what to say about your friend... I feel so upset even thinking about it. why is life so cruel? Like bec said too.. its going to be terrible just seeing the coffin.. my thoughts and prayers are with the family, i hope they can get through this
How sweet are the latest photos of amelia too?! Lordie her eyes and eyebrows are just the sweetest! Also love the jolly jumper, must get mine back off my cousin so theo can have a go too, aren't they super fun?

Mon - Thinking of you in this tough time. Hope your family are doing well xx

Ubbs - I used s26gold with DD, because it had the small packets. She seemed fine on it, so i never bothered changin. But i agree with alicia - its a bit stanky.

Snowy - hope that blocked duct sorts itself out, sounds like it could turn painful quite easily!

Natty - yay! Have fun at canberra, hope your little girl behaves herself for the car trip x

Madame - thank you for thinking of me this weekend. You are such a special friend, love you heaps Hope your clan are doing well xx

AFM - Well the cyclone has been and gone, thank goodness! The wind was really scary, was totally $hittin' myself! haha! Kaili's cubby house was blown over and smashed into a couple of pieces, about 3 power polls exploded and caught fire, and a big gumtree about 3 houses up crashed and landed on the lines. My house was shaking.. We got power back on tonight, so had toclear out our fridges and freezers, everything was spoilt and starting to smell a bit Not happy, was probably anout $400 dollars worth of food! Not to mention all the frozen meals i had cooked for when i have slack nights.

My dieting had been TERRIBLE all weekend. Been eating so much crap, weighed myself this morning and i put on 1.5kg! haha!! Back on the bandwagon tomorrow! Not looking forward to their judging eyes at the ww meeting on wednesdy But i know if i dont go, i'll probably just give up altogether, and i definately dont want that!

hmm, think thats all i have to tell ya'll
    xx lots of love

Al- Love the video of Amelia in the jolly jumper.

    Hey ladies,
just got back from the MCHN!
Theo is getting so big! 8.1kg, 65cm length, 43cm HC!
The MW couldn't believe he was only beastfed! haha!

I know he is so much bigger than Kaili ever was, i remember i turned her carseat around when she was 7 months (thats when she hit 8kg)!! Won't be turning his carseat around for a while yet, but i find that incredible the size difference

She recommended i start a small amount of solids to see how he goes! Then another MW i know saw me as i was walking out, and she said the same thing - he's a big boy, have you got him on solids yet?

Oh my... our bubbies arre growing too fast!

    xx

    Hi Girls

Yet again I haven't been getting notifications so now I'm wayyyyyy behind, grrrr!

We had a big storm here yesterday, Our dining area got flooded, was crazy! I was trying to grab towels and mops etc all while holding a crying baby and dealing with a storm phobic dog, lol! DH came home eventually after I'd almost filled a bucket of water! I've put some pics on FB.

Asked the doctor at Amelia's needles yesterday about some pains I've been having the last few days, she wants me to go for an ultrasound and do some swabs etc etc. She said it's probably nothing but given my infection she wants to be sure - she was however about 20 years old. I emailed my midwife and she said just to do what the GP said, I was a bit miffed actually, was hoping she'd suggest coming in to see the OB, given he's my OB and he's a gyno...oh well. But this morning I've woken and thought that it might be ovulation pains. I used to get this before and because I was charting to get pregnant I've worked out it's been 2 weeks since my period and so it's perfect timing. I don't remember it being quite this painful but wondering if maybe everything is still a little raw in there that maybe it's a bit more painful. Anyway hoping that's all it is, my temp and blood pressure were fine so she says it's unlikely to be an infection. If it's not gone by Thursday I'll go do the tests, just don't want to for no reason, such a hassle with a baby!

Hope all is well with everyone, got the funeral for the baby today, still tossing up whether to go or not, although I likely will, it's not the best weather to have a baby outside either just after needles! I was going to get my sister to watch her if worst came to worst but she is running around trying to get her house fixed today as some of her roof caved in with the storm yesterday and my other sister has an appointment so will have to take her with me. Amelia came out of her vaccs unscathed, although I realised she's not really 4 months until next Tuesday so I was a little early. I've always gone off weeks so assumed she was due yesterday, must remember that for next time!

Al- I hope the funeral wasnt too upsetting for you today xxx

Telly- Far Out! 8.1 kg!!! Woah. You definately have some good milk going on there. You should donate it to the premmie babies, their mums would be taking them home in no time! So do you think you will start him on solids yet?

Hi Ubba - thanks so much. It was a lovely service, very very sad though, I've never seen such a teeny tiny coffin, the dad was carrying it on his own with just his two hands like he was carrying a plate.......the baby was born at 1.1 kgs. I couldn't help but feel so sad for the girl, her husband kept it together but she was so upset, although was definitely more together than I think I would've been, mind you, she's probably still numb. She gave everyone a little poem (written by her baby Willow) and a Willow tree seed to plant in her honour. We're going to put it at our propertly, ironically she was addicted to green apples when pregnant (same as me) so buried her with a few items along with an apple which she got from Donnybrook - where our property is! It's known as the apple county of the west. She also gave me a thank you card for my gift I gave her before the bubby died and it has a little copy of her hand print on it, my god girls, it's teeny tiny, about the size of my thumb. I burst into tears as soon as I opened it. I tell you what though, it brings everything into perspective and I've never kissed and cuddled Amelia in one day so much as I have today. Cherish your bubs girls, sleeplessness nights, crap milk supply (me!), wonder weeks, teething, tantrums, you name it, because at least we have them here to go through all these things with. She said to me, cherish your little girl because you don't realise how precious they truly are until they're gone........I just wanted to scream for her.

Apparently they had a viewing for family and close friends this morning, the girl I met her through went and had a little cuddle of the baby and took some photos, she said she'd show me if interested. Sounds morbid but I'd like to put a face to the name, I feel somewhat attached to the situation really so would like to. She told me today the girl and her husband (the parents of the baby) didn't even hold the baby at all, they didn't want to, I found that a little unusual but each to their own. I just hope they don't regret it later, I think it would be sad to know you didn't get to feel their skin on yours etc. I couldn't imagine NOT holding my baby could you?

Anyway, that's my afternoon, let's hope tomorrow is much happier!

Hope you all had a lovely day.

    Nighty night.
    xx
