Just quickly - Cruz has a TOOTH!! You can very clearly see it and feel it, it's pretty much out of the gum! Bottom left front tooth - So cute! So sharp! Amberbebe necklace must've helped as he really didn't kick up much of stink! Didn't even notice!
Sorry for the selfish post - So excited! Our little peeps are growing up so fast! Now back to more packing
Happy Easter! Love you all!!
FANTASTIC News about your Dad too Kymmy! So happy he'll be home soon with his foot! Great news!!
Thanks for filling me in Ali - Will chat more about it on FB!
Haha!! I can't get over that!! Awesome news on the necklace too, me think i might get one too! Gosh... definately growing up quickly!
My post will be short too, DD is at the circus and they're due to get home any moment now. She also went to a high 5 concert on wednesday Far out, that girl has a better social life than me! not fair!
Kymmy, so so glad to hear your dad is doing so well. Hopefully it wont be long and he'll be moving around more freely, and be home with his gorgeous family. I was looking at the photos someone tagged you in on FB too, with archie. hehe, man.. that boy is such a little hunk! Totally gonna be a heart breaker in years to come! I was showing my DH too, he can't get over his little mohawk, hehe - super cute! Happy birthdya to your mumma, aren't mums the best? And wow on your little sis being 7! Now THATS a gap!! lol!!
Argh, Theo is waking up again
knew it was too good to be true
oh wait... no
he has settled again... thought for sure he was waking up! Can't pick him! Its crazy having the afternoon with just me an theo.. my house is SPOTLESS! No cyclone Kaili to seek and destroy. Then i gave theo some farex and mash banana, which he was super excited about (lol, wish you guys could have seen it, couldn't believe how keen he was!), a bath, now 6pm and he's sleeping. Something that NEVER happens!! Just goes to show how much noise DD makes! That and the fact that she stimulates him sooo much! Peekabo, pretends to sneeze, 'cuddles' him (although i think its borderline abuse, lol).
Is anyone getting their little ones baptised/christened? We got DD baptised, and her godparents, although incredibly close friends they are, didn't invite her to their wedding? wtf right? So we had a big fight, yeha, now we're friends again.
Went to go organise Theos baptism, and the new priest, who is a lady, is telling us we must have godparents (we decided we didn't want them, to avoid any more conflict with ppl). And if we don't nominate anyone, she'll nominate people from the church?! Err.. no thanks! So not sure what we're going to do. I also don't want to chose any, because last time it ended up with losts of fights, ppl getting cranky that we didn't' chose them (and made us completely aware through multiple text messages). Ho Hum, not sure what to do. We've got a meeting with the church after the easter period.
Kymmy, i just reread your post, your little BROTHER!! Crap sorry!! lol
Alsion have fun at the holiday house! Lucky lady you!
Shayna - thank you so much for filling me in on abbey. Glad to hear that formula isn't the magic ingredient to a sleeping baby (although i'm sure your not so glad, lol). I'm finding it really interesting that we all seem to be going through the same stage, alison i think i might have a better look into that wonder weeks book you mentioned.
Mel - i totally agree with snowy, breastfeeding has been stupid easy for me, so don't feel i've 'done it tough' at all. I'm just out right lucky. I think you and alison deserve a medal, perservering for so long despite your problems! Good job!
Annnyway, i'm still getting crazy crazy amounts of comments from my mum and a friend of the family about how i should be giving him formula now.. i think i'm going to shoot myself in the foot if i have to listen to it again! So this mornign i told DH from now on, if anyone asks how Theo has been sleeping, the answer is always going to be "Theo? He's an INCREDIBLE sleeper!!" Lol!! That gives them one less reason to suggest it! One lady last night, told DH (he was defending my decision to bf only), that "midwives dont know what they're talking about when it comes to feeding a baby"
WHHAAAAYTTT!?!?! This woman works at a bank... So clearly ladies.. clearly she would know whats best for a baby... lol
annnyway, wow.. this post is all over the shop.
haha!
HAPPY EASTER!
xx
PS - Bellarose - did you find the dora concert to be worthwhile? Or a waste of money? Apparently they're coming to mackay, and i'm umming and ahhing on if i should take DD or not.
I have a pooing machine! He's gone thru 14 nappies in a day & at least 10 of those were pooey.
Kymmy - I don't get why the doc didn't just give Archie the Vit K?? Glad he's OK and your Dad too.
Telly - we haven't got either boy baptised & the priest we would have used was 'retired' for being too radical - my Dad went to his church in Brisbane & I went on the very odd occasion (DH isn't at all religious) so I think we'll just leave it.
Its been a few days since Ive been on, gee you have been busy lol!
Im on the no sleeping band wagon too. I have been getting up to Ruby every hour too - driving me nuts! DH stayed up till 4 am the other night to get to her before I woke up so I could get some sleep, love him for that.
When Im feeding Ruby she doesnt try and touch my face nicely, she claws at my boob instead OWWW!!! Cheeky little bugger, cant help but love her though
I have been wanting to get an amber teething necklace since before Ruby was born but keep forgetting... Im going to go and order one tonight I think.
Only 2 more sleeps til the Easter Bunny! How exciting hehe.
Have a great weekend everyone xxx
Archie slept for 7 hours straight! Woohoo! hahahahaha! I woke up with the sorest boobs and quickly went to check he was still breathing then was so excited when he was! haha!
Snowy: He told me the results over the phone. I am calling him back on Tues to talk to him a bit more about it.. i am confused about the whole thing!
Telly: You are so funny!! I have a little sister too, she is 4 months older than Brit! haha! She feels like one of my own kids! And yes, mums ARE the best! I love mine soo much and she has been through so much stress lately the poor thing! Tried to get her drunk last night (she doesn't drink!) but she wouldn't fall for it! haha!We are not getting Archie baptised. We are not religious at all... Although will happily partake in such occasions as Easter and Christmas!! haha!
PS: Didn't you know that bank tellers are the new black when it comes to baby rearing!!?? DER TELLY! hahaha!
Sorry gotta go... Archie is demanding my attention again... What is with that?!?! haha!
