Thanks Kymmy and Telly - you girls are so right, thank you, I needed to hear that. xx And Telly, me too about feeling sick thinking of going back to work, I don't have to if I don't want, we're without sounding snobby pretty financially stable - I sold my house last year (I bought it in 2000 with my ex and busted my pooper to pay the mortgage on my own owhen we broke up but so glad I kept it - even if it was vegemite on toast and 2 minute noodles for a while lol) and made a nice profit which paid a chunk of the current mortgage off (I rented it out the last 2 years so that covered my mortgage too) and we've been working hard to pay the current mortgage off....but still - I always thought I'd just do something by helping DH with his business to get a bit of a little income just for fun and spending (I'm a shopaholic)......but who knows. I was on a great salary working for an oil and gas company so it will be a big change but I've been doing it for 20 years and feel it's my time to spend with my girl now, like you, I don't fancy having a childcare centre bring up my child/children......nothing against them, just the way I feel.
Anyway girls, it's late and I've gotta pack for our country weekend away.........100 acres this time, I love this holiday house, it's so beautiful this time of year as everything is so green. I hope the guy next door's cows are there again, there's nothing like waking up and having a cow outside your window hee hee. Oh and Telly, wow your childhood sounding so lovely - I agree though, country people are so more relaxed and the kids are so polite and aren't spoilt with bloomin materialistic crap. Even though this is kind of in the burbs it's more tranquil....in fact, the street is called Tranquil drive lol!
Well, will check back in on Sunday when we get back. Have a great weekend lovelies. Take care of that little bub in your tum Kymmy. xx
