    Hi girls,

Sorry it's taken me a few days to get back in here. I've been reading ur posts!

We've decided to call our little girl Lexie Charlotte. I'm so in love with her. She's very tiny & has the finest amount of hair, pretty much bald lol. She is such a good baby so far.

Hopefully going home today, dh doesn't finish work until 5pm though & my stitches & staples still need to be removed so I may stay one more night.

Breastfeeding is going well so far, especially now my milk has come in.

DD1 absolutely loves Lexie & hogs her everytime she comes & visits. Lara however has totally rejected me since I've been in here & won't have a thing to do with me. Hopefully she warms up to me once I'm home coz she's such a mummys girl.

I did feel a lot more tired having a GA. My eyes kept wanting to shut all the time.

Sorry for no personals, my breakfast just arrived & I want to eat while i can. I will pop back in tomorrow hopefully.

I love the name Leigh and I bet she matches it perfectly Hope you can come home tomorrow and get everyone settled. Now looking forward to seeing some piccies lol.

Well tonight we had to phone the kids kare help line. Meara has been dribbling excessively since yesterday and I know she is not teething so wanted to know what else it could be. I finally got her to open her mouth and I saw her poor little tongue is covered in tiny ulcers. It must hurt so much. I have given her panadol and smeared sm33 on her tongue and she is certainly better for the moment I can see it's going to be a hard night though. Wish me luck ladies.

I thought of that myself didi but it's not that. I think she has eaten too many strawberries and the acid has caused the ulcers. They are so much better now and that is just from using the sm33 and the panadol. Not that she liked the sm33 lol she pulled so many funny faces.

Miss B on the other hand now easily puts 4+ words together - pretty much speaking in sentences, can count to 5 without skipping numbers, and can go up to the letter D in the alphabet! and knows and recognises the colours, Pink, Red, Green, Blue and yellow! very clever little bumbkin however STILL not sleeping thru!!! driving me NUTS!!!!! Thankyou for asking!
Have you posted your birth story yet?

wow didi didn't realise it was so close. Good luck with the c/s and I hope it doesn't hold up your Canada plans

hj - you're another one pg lol I must hang around here more often so the vibes come my way.

Leigh - are you home yet??? Has Lara settled down with the new bubs or is she still acting funny? I'm glad everything went so well for you.

We had a trip to the hospital last night with Meara as she fell over and split her head open, right near her eye (roll). The doc wasn't sure whether she would need stitches or not but has tried the steristrips first and she seems to be leaving them alone - phew. I'm thinking what else could go wrong with this girl lol. Meara is also speaking well and can count to 5 (mainly because we count when we give her her needles), she loves books and knows the animals and the sounds and is already partly toilet trained (all her own doing), sometimes she forgets so we have a mess to clean up but not to many considering.

My eldest girl has a formal presentation to go to today and she looks so lovely in her long dress (tears, sniffs). We got creative last night and glued some rhinestones onto some silver shoes I already had and it has made such a difference. Got some new dangly jewellry for her to wear and it just looks wonderful. I'm not proud at all am I lol.

Kim - and so you should be proud! i bet she will look stunning! and poor Meara - i think i would have a heartattack if something like that happened to B - i don't mind blood but blood from my own DD freaks me out! LOL - good thing tho that she avoided the stitches! And yep im preggers! definalty not planned but now very much wanted! i will send u all the pregnancy vibes i possibly can for you!

Didi - i reakon 28th July sounds like a beautiful date (my bday)

How are all our other mummy's???

    Hi all,

Didi - OMG, it is so close, just a few more weeks and your going to have another little mouth to feed, How wonderful and very exciting.

    HJ - Hi hun. hugs

Kim - Oh poor little Meara, hope she is on the mend. If it isnt one thing its another. How did your DD's formal go? I bet she had a heap of fun. Your aloud to be proud hhehe. I think its a good idea to keep hanging around in here, lol. Something should rub off on you soon. lol

Leigh - Let me know how painful the staples are to get removed? I am hoping like crazy I dont end up with them. They probably punish me for having another bub and do it out of spite. lol. With 2 of my c/s's I had disolvable stitches, and one I had normal stitches and they did them that tight that they were hard to remove. Boy did that hurt. So not looking forward to that part. hugs

Well had V to the Dr's yesterday for a checkup, and he was happy with her, yet today DD4 has come down with the flu again, so now its trying to keep V away from it.

Will let you all know how the formal went when she comes home later Meara doesn't seem to worry about the steristrips on her face atm but sometimes she does hold her head and say "sore mummy, bleeding" my heart just breaks knowing that all I can give her is some panadol (and lots of cuddles).

Leigh - I never had staples with my c/s but dissolvable stitches so can only imagine how painful they must be. Wonder why they did the staples for you (shrugs).

csab - Hope V doesn't get this flu and your poor DD4. It must be horrible. Poor you as well with having to look after them and being pg too, big hugs. I was just looking and our kids are similar in ages (sort of) lol how are you coping with them all?? I'd gladly trade mine in some days especially the DS11.

Oh well will be back later lol (not like I have a life is it lol)

    Hi girls,

The staples came out on Tuesday and you know that I stessed for nothing, didn't hurt a bit. They did tell me that they shouldn't hurt but I was still scared. With DD1 & DD2 I had stitches but apparently the hospital reckons thats more of an old fashioned way of doing it now, who knows though. With DD1 the stitches were left in a bit too long and it really hurt when they removed them.

Kim - Poor Meara, glad she is ok. Must have been scary. Hope you DD had a great time at the formal.

HJ - Glad your pregnancy is going well. Miss B sounds like she is doing great. Are you finding out the sex of your bub?

Csab - Hope the rest of you don't get sick, especially little V.

Didi - Not long to go now. Are you all prepared? Can't wait to hear the news!!!

Well Lexie is still doing great. So far she is a fantastic baby and I can't complain a single bit. She is a great sleeper, I have to wake her for each feed. The midwife has been coming each day to check my wound and to weigh her. She has put on 110grams in the last two days which she said is fantastic. We're off to the dr tomorrow for her 5 - 10 day check up. It will be our first outing. My mum went home today and DH is at work tonight so it is my first time alone with the 3 kids. Its been going well so far. The only thing is that Im not meant to lift anything heavier than Lexie but I have to still lift Lara into her cot for bed time. I will just have to take it very easy. I lowered her high chair right down so she just climbed in and out of that for me.

Better go, will pop back in tomorrow!

    Hey ladies thank you all!!!

Prepared.. I am so prepared its not funny.. I guess I have taken my experiences with DS and DD and now know WHAT to pack and what not to pack, how many pads to bring in and what not too. And how I can get my own room and not share etc.

So I guess its just a matter of waiting..

So AFTER the 13th as mum arrives then from Canada.. and AFTER the 18th as that is my baby shower (such lovely friends having one with a wishing well)

Then AFTER That i am good to go!!!!! Just greatful OB wont make me go any longer then I need to with this CRAPO SPD.

    HI everyone,

Congratulations Leigh - so glad everything has gone well. I love the name you chose, it's gorgeous. How did your first night with your 3 girls go?
I'd be making dh have the snip now after everything you've been through!

csab - glad to hear that you had a positive result from your scan, must've been really nerve racking.

hj - how's the study going? Are you planning to have a vbac this time round?

didi - sounds like you have a busy few weeks which will hopefully help take you mind off the spd.

kim - how's Meara's tongue today? could it be mouth thrush? Olive dribbled heaps when she had that. hope it's cleared up

My pregnancy is moving along nicely now and my bump is growing by the day. I feel 4mths pregnant but i'm only 9wks.
Be interesting to see if i last til the end of the yr with work. I'm also really tired with this pregnancy and dream of a full nights sleep before no2 comes along. Sounds like i'm not the only one. Trouble is it's just so cold and i don't want to be up and down all night so it's easier for Olive to come in with us.
Olive has been fighting ongoing colds like lots of other bubs on here which has made sleep challenging but other then that she is very cute. She is speaking in 5-6 word sentences now, can count to 10, knows all her colours including black and white, knows circle, square and triangle shapes and is absolutely in love with playschool, which thankfully i don't mind as i can get some good ideas for work. Atm Olive is going through a thing of saying 'poor darlin' when she is upset which is super cute!
Anyway i'm starving so i'm off to eat and have a snooze while Olive is asleep.

    Hi everyone,

Meara is feeling so much better today - not dribbling half as much lol but she has a nice shiner. Sarah said her formal do went very well. She had a wonderful time and was complimented so much she thought she might cry lol. We get photos at the beginning of next term.

Leigh - I'm so glad Lexie is a good baby. Makes it easier for you when you can't do much.

CW - glad your pregnancy is proceeding nicely. Sounds like we all have a super smart bunch of toddlers

didi - it does sound like you are super prepared lol. Hope bubs decides to stick to the agenda lol

Everyone else take care and update soon
