Hi all, not much activity on here lately lol.
Well I had my booking in appointment at the hospital yesterday and I am under the care of a midwife team that deals in vbacs. I cannot have a birth centre birth or a water birth :( and am only allowed to negotiate with certain things because of the c/s last time. I'm very disappointed in that but my DF is still hoping for another c/s :o as that was easier on HIM. My tummy is getting heaps bigger lol and I can feel bubs kicks from the outside now. I have my big scan next Monday.
CW - isn't Olive cute. The things little ones say lol. You don't have all that much longer to go now (bet you feel differently lol) and good on you for having nearly all the xmas shopping done. i haven't nearly finished yet. I hear you on the name front. We are having heaps of trouble too and we know what we are having lol. Hope bubs turns for you soon. Posterior is very uncomfortable.
Hi to everyone else and if you don't get on before hand then have a great xmas and new year xxx
-
Kim, I can't believe you're almost 19wks already, it's flying by so quickly. Can't wait to hear about your scan!!
CW, hopefully you will agree on a name soon. It's always hard. Bet you can't wait to finish work. Try & rest up as much as possible before bub comes.
Nothing much happening here. DD1 had her prep Xmas concert at school today. They all looked so cute singing & dressed up in their Xmas clothes. Lara chucked a tantrum leaving the school coz she wanted to stay & play with all the kids coz they love it when she's at school & chase her around.

Hi all, I went and had my big scan done and Frogglette was not very co-operative. I ended up having to go back on the Wednesday so they could finish it. I didn't really mind as it meant that I got to see her again :) We got some lovely 4D pics of her and she is already a cutie. You can clearly see she has the cupids bow mouth already. Also she is only measuring on the 50th percentile so a small one for me so far. I have still only put on 1kg this pregnancy ...........so happy about that lol. We are getting lots of movement now and we can definitely feel her from the outside as well. We have pretty much decided on a name but are fighting over the middle name grrrrrrr. I love Phoebe Rose but DF hates Rose. Why can't men just say "yes dear that is lovely" and be done with it. I think it will end up either Phoebe Isabel, Phoebe Abigail or Phoebe Grace. I still want Phoebe Rose but will settle for Phoebe Grace. I know this is nothing like the original name we had picked out (Temperance Maeve) but I just had a feeling it wouldn't suit her lol. It's still on the list though.
Hope everyone is feeling good and is getting excited about xmas. Chat to you all soon xxx

Kim,
I've always loved Phoebe for a name & think Phoebe Rose is beautiful, can you keep nagging DH about it until he caves in ha ha. I can't believe how quick your pregnancy is going. And lucky you 1 kg. Lexie will be 6months on Thursday already can you believe. She is growing so quick. She's my last bub so I wouldn't mind if she slowed down a bit ha ha.
-
Leigh, I can't believe it's been 6mths already, thats crazy!
Kim - Glad to see things are progressing so nicely for you. Phoebe is a beautiful name. I think Grace goes well with it out of the names you mentioned and is a pretty reasonable compromise. We are having a hard time settling on a boys name but for a girl it will be Hazel Mary. Boys so far are Vincent (Vinnie) or Leonard (Lenni) but pretty sure it will be Vinnie. None of the names I love DH does so that is one we have settled on from our old list.
I am 33wks now so really on the count down. I've finished work as of friday and am looking forward to nesting and resting although i have a sewing business which is just taking off a bit so need to work on that some before the baby comes. Still so much to do.
Really looking forward to xmas this year as Olive is so excited. I do love this time of year.
Anyway ladies, talk soon

Forgot to add that bub isn't in the posterier position and is now ROL so am praying that they don't move around to much and stay in this position.

Hi all, things on here have been slow I see lol. As you can see I'm still trucking along and Frogglette is going well. i had my antenatal appointment yesterday with the midwives from the vbac team and so far things look good. I will have to be tested and monitored for GD as I have the 2 kids with type 1. I've never had it before and don't think i'll get it this time either but they want to be sure :rollseye: Frogglette is very active and loves to kick the crap out of me. I think she will be a bruiser when she comes out :)
Leigh - wow Lexie is 6 months already. That has gone so fast
CW - you should be about 35 weeks now. OMG that has flown by as well. I had a hard time with boys names too but think it was because subconsciously I knew it was another girl lol. I'm looking forward to seeing your BA.
Hi to everyone else and hope you had a great xmas and new year. Chat soon

Just bumping us up here ;) How is everyone going?? I am now 25 weeks and as big as a barn. It is getting so much harder to get up and down that all I want to do is lay down and not get up again but with 2 littlies still at home that is not possible.
CW - you must be just about due now. I'm looking for your BA whenever I log on :)
Leigh - I can't believe that Lexie is over 6 months old already. She must be a little cutie and starting to try and do things like her sisters by now.
We are having an out of mind experience here as DD2 will be old enough to start big school next year :o I can't believe Kaylee is already at that age!!! She is booked in to get her immunisation needles at the end of the month - so not looking forward to that.
Take care all and looking forward to getting the goss soon xx

Hi girls!!!
Im still here. Gosh our LO's are growing up fast. Hard to believe we will be celebrating their 3rd birthdays this year..
Wow @ your DD2 starting school next year.. It blows my mind that DD is starting school the year after next..
-
Kim - Hi, your right it's been ages. It's a bit of a pity that none of the old crew seem to pop in as much anymore either, oh well i guess we are all busy mums with toddlers and babies. I am due any time now. Still 2 weeks to go but bubs is fully engaged and am getting lots of pains so hopefully any day now.
I hear you on just wanting to sleep and being huge. Olive is at daycare today so it's nice just relaxing and pottering.
Can't believe that your 25wks already, time flies!
Leigh - hope you and your girls are well and happy.
Hollye - just saw you had posted. How are you feeling? Getting ms yet? how many wks are you?
Speaking of sleep i'm off to have a nap as i'm sleeping terribly of a night.
-
Hi Girls,
Kim, god 25 wks pregnant already, your pregnancy is flying by. Lexie will be 7 mths on Sunday, I don't know where the last 7 mths have gone coz they've gone so quick. Coz she's my last bub I wish that time would go a bit slower.
CW, can't wait to read your birth announcement. Is Olive ready for the new baby? Rest up as much as possible in the next couple of wks. I hope everything with your birth goes smoothly.
Hollye, congratulations on being pregnant. Very exciting news!!! Hope you've got a very sticky bubba inside you.
Lara is still in the terrible 2's. She chucks a huge tantrum when she thinks she's missing out on something eg I can't even go out to the wheelie bin without her coming with me. I think it's a bit of middle child syndrome too.

Hi all,
Well Meara gets her insulin pump fitted next Tuesday so we have to stay in hospital for a few days to a week so that they can make sure she is responding properly. I'm hoping that this will make it easier to manage her diabetes. Then we have to get DS2 his pump as well. Very busy week for us next week lol. Both Meara and DS2 have diabetic clinic at the hospital, Kaylee has 4yo needles in the afternoon and then I have to pack a bag for both Meara and me to take to hospital. Tuesday we have to be there at 9am so they can get started with the pump fitting and I then have an antenatal appointment at 11am (luckily both at the same hospital ;) ) and then we stay as said before. I hope the hospital is really cool as I hate the heat and really can't stand it atm.
Other than that everything else is going well so far. I found the most gorgeous nappy bag today at Priceline. It was only $20 and is soooo pretty. I didn't really want a blue or black one this time so I got one that is chocolate brown and pink. Have gone really girly with Phoebe lol.
CW - fingers crossed for you darl that you have a smooth labour.
Hollye - congrats on the new bubs. I hope you have a H&H 8 months.
Leigh - I hear you on the terrible 2's lol Meara is getting very stubborn and won't do anything she is told. One positive though is that she is nearly toilet trained. Only the night nappies to go :)
Well that's it for me tonight, very tired as I went back to school shopping today and the heat has worn me out and Phoebe is kicking the crap out of me lol she really doesn't like me sitting down AT ALL. Take care everyone and chat again soon xxx
-
Kim, hope everything goes well with Meara's insulin pump. You're a busy woman at the moment. I couldn't stand the heat while pregnant too. Your nappy bag sounds really nice, do you have much more that you need to buy for Phoebe? You're lucky that Meara is pretty much toilet trained. Hopefully she will be out of night nappies by the time Phoebe comes along. Its expensive having two kids in nappies. Lara will still gladly go and sit on the potty when I tell her to but still hasn't done a pee or poo. DD1 wasn't toilet trained until 2 1/2 so I am thinking Lara will be the same.
Hi to everyone else

Well guys Meara didn't get her pump. There was some admin problems so it will be this month sometime but they think the end now. I have had to have the 2 hour GTT test yesterday to so fingers crossed that it comes back ok otherwise I can say goodbye to my vbac. Not much else happening here atm just trying to stay out of the heat and get some me time (nearly impossible) We have Meara and Kaylee in preschool an extra day each this year but I seem to book my appointments for the days I have off lol so not much of a break :/ Hope you are all well
CW - still waiting on your BA ;)

Hi everyone! *waves*
Sorry, I didnt even realise there was a new thread!
MM- so happy for your UTD ness status! LOL! wish my body would hurry up and get preggers....soon I hope! its almost been a year TTC now...
hope everyone is going well, will BBL to post some more! xx
-
Thanks SS :) Its still hard to believe it actually happened. I got the all day nausea and dry reaching, which is so horrible :( Mush harder dealing with it when u have a toddler. Dont worry babe, it will happen, it took a year for us. Is there anything stopping you from being UTD?
AFM - DD seems to have turned into the devil child since I have fallen pregnant, so Im struggling with keeping my cool with her atm. Hormones, sickness and tiredness dont help, im sure. I need to go an enrol her in 3 y.o kinder very soon.. for next year. Anyone elses lil ones doing 3 y.o kinder next year?
-
Hi ladies
I had my GTT test and i failed it by .1. The cut off is 8 and my result was 8.1 :o So they have told me that I have GD. Damn it all to hell!!!!! There goes my natural birth (vbac) and lots more monitoring. I have been testing myself since I found out yesterday and I have been in the normal range so will have to see what they say on Thursday when I go to the clinic. Am just gutted as I was really hoping to talk them into letting me have a water birth. Oh well these things happen I guess but I wish they wouldn't happen to me lol.
Meara is not going to preschool this morning. Last night she got a high temp and was coughing all night. Stupid weather!!! It has been so hot and then it cooled right off. I need to keep more of an eye on her since she got the diabetes as even a cold can send her sugars through the roof.
Hope everyone is well and coping. Chat again soon xxx
