Just bumping us up here.
Well went to the diabetic session and my morning fasting levels are not good enough. I have been sitting on about 6 and they want them below 5.5 (fuss budgets lol) so more than likely will be put on insulin or medications of some sort at my next appointment. If you have 3 or more higher levels then they tend to do something and my levels are a bit up and down. I'm sitting here shaking my head thinking how did I get myself into this. There goes my vbac unless Frogglette comes early. With GD they don't like you to go full term and prefer to induce but I can't be induced because of the last c/s. Oh well - this way I know when Frogglette will be born and can plan accordingly. I suppose the benefit is that I can transfer to my local hospital 48 hours after if nothing is wrong with either me or Frogglette. I'm hoping she won't have to go into nicu for low bsl's.
Whinge over now lol
CW - what is happening on your end. I'm religiously checking the BA section and I'm not seeing yours. Hurry up bubba - people are waiting on you lol
SS - great to see you here again. Good luck with the ttc
MM - Meara is in preschool already. She started last year and loves it. She has gone up to the toddler room this year (2/3 yo) and is liking it even better. No hints on how to control devil children lol or mine would be angels by now.
Take care everyone and hope to see some movement from you CW lol

Kim, bugger about the GD. I had it too with both Lara & Lexie. I was only borderline of having it & was lucky enough to control it through diet alone. I really should be sticking to the diet now too coz I know I'm now at higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Glad Meara is enjoying the toddler room.
Sorry such a short post. Got to get DD1 off to school. She's in year one this year & loves it.

hi everyone,
still no baby so i am being induced tonight. They will start with the gel then tomorrow morning do an ARM and i have requested a few hours to see if this works before they start me on the drip. Stubborn bubba this one! Í am over it now though and just want to meet my baby even though i now can't birth at my local hospital and have to travel half an hour back and forth. I will hopefully be able to get a transfer back though if it all goes well. So everyone wish me luck and next time i'm on BB I will have a baby. we are now joking that bubs just wants to share the same day (17th) with Olive. By then i'll be 11 days over and my cervix is still thick so i am ready.
Hope you are all well :)

:hiding: Still stalking here for you CW. What is happening???? Is your little bundle out yet???
I have had to start on insulin as of yesterday but this morning's reading was better. Below what they want me to be so yay. I think the rest of it can be taken care of via diet but will see as I still have ages to go yet (10 more weeks)
Take care all and CW please let us know how you are. Getting worried here
-
Holy Kim, I can't believe you've only got 10wks to go. Your pregnancy has gone so fast. I'm waiting for CW's news too.
-
lol Leigh I can't believe I've only got 10 weeks to go either. Although I don't think that I will last that long ;) I have a feeling that Phoebe will be here in about 8 weeks. The midwife told me yesterday that they can induce me after the last c/s but they will use a balloon catheter to open the cervix and then do an AROM. My only fear is that if it doesn't work then I'll end up with another c/s. I was really hoping to avoid another one. I really hope CW is ok. I've been checking the BA's every day lol (stalker much pmsl). How are Lara and Lexie going??

Hi girls,
Yes we are all ok now but had a full on week and only got home from hospital yesterday. My BIG bubba girl Hazel was born last friday weighing in at a whopping 10lbs 7oz! I was in hospital for 2 days while they tried to get me to go into labour so was well and truely over it by then. Being induced was horrible but i managed to push out my baby. I sustained a 3rd degree tear which the ob said was lucky not to be 4th degree and the docs have said no more VB for me which hasn't really sunk in yet. Hazel had shoulder dyslosia and got stuck. She ended up with fluid on her lungs and had to be on a drip for a couple of days which was aweful, i finally had her then had to give her up to the scn. But we are both doing well now and just so happy to be home.
Thanks for all your well wishes. x

Congrats CW! So happy to hear you are both ok now! wow, she was a big one!!
How horrible to have to give her up, and be on a drip :( how are you coping now at home?
Enjoy all those new born snuggles! Hope you heal up nicely xxx
-
Oh my CW. I'm so glad everything is ok now. Your "little" girl wasn't so little was she lol. Bummer about what the obs have told you but I'd get a 2nd opinion anyway (that is if you decide you want another one ;) ) Take care hun and give that girl of yours a huge hug from her "aunties" here on BB. I can now unstalk you lol.
-
CW, congratulations on baby Hazel. Ouch on the tear but you did a fantastic job delivering her! How is Olive with her baby sister? Hope everything is going well at home & you're managing to get some rest.
-
Congrats CW!!! Whoa she was a big bubba! Welcome to the world Hazel!

Hi ladies,
Meara is booked in on Tuesday to get her insulin pump - finally. We have to be there at 9.30 to get it all started and then stay for a few days to make sure that all is ok. I'm not looking forward to sleeping on the beds at the hospital while 30 weeks preggers but what can I do lol. I'm still on the one shot of insulin but have had to increase the dose already. The endo told me that I would and that she trusts me to do it by myself. My other readings are all ok. At 34 weeks I have to have another ultrasound to check out Frogglette and make sure the placenta is working properly and that she is not getting to big. I don't think she is but then I have another 4 weeks to go until then :)
How is everyone going??? CW how is Hazel settling in at home? Is Olive being a good big sister?? I think Meara is going to be a great sister as she already kisses my tummy and says "I love you Phoebe" it is so cute.
Well got to go and cook dinner. Catch up with everyone later
