Yay finally looks like we have all graduated! What a run of girls we have had.

    Our Stats-
    Name: Kate Lousie
    Weight: 8lb 7oz (3.8 kg)
    Length: 53cm
    Head: 36cm

I had a great birth experience too- managed to do it with just a little bit of gas at the end, and as I was telling DH after, the gas does nothing for the pain really, but it is a great thing for redirecting your focus. BF is going really well, I can feel that my milk is coming in so I am sure that the next few days will be interesting. The paed picked up a bit of a heart murmer yesterday, so will have to go and get that checked again in a couple of weeks, but they think it is just developmental, from her valve closing, as she was only 26 hours old when we discharged, but will get it checked to be on the safe side.
Tori and Liam are just in Love with their little sister, and want to be right there helping out all the time- I am sure it wont take long for the novelty to wear thin though.
I hope everyone is settling in well at home with their precious bundles and at least getting some sleep.

Bubble- Nope I don't miss being pregnant at all, I am soooooo glad to be able bend over and touch my toes, give my babies a cuddle without my big bump in the way..heheh. I think for me, I know that this is my last and I am ready to move on and enjoy each new stage as it comes without missing the ones that pass too much.

    Hey everyone!!

Glad to hear that everyone is enjoying their newborn snuggles and settling in

DD2 is going great, I keep waiting for her to change her "routine" but she is pretty consistent, although I did manage a 4 1/2 hour block of sleep last night

I have to say I am thoroughly enjoying it this time around, with DD1 is was stressful, mentally and physically exhausting 24/7 feeding expressing etc, where as this time I have been able to get back into work as I feel like it and am able to function.
We got our new washing machine delivered and installed this morning, would have done it myself but it was 78kg and I don't think it was advisable moving it only 4 weeks post CS. But it is fab and sooo happy to be able to wash clothes again! With DD1 is was the hot water service in our house that died not long after bringing her home, talk about luck... or not!

Must runa nd get things done we have visitors coming from Melb this weekend and with DD1 home tomorrow I need to get as much done today as possible! xxoo

hey all... typing 1 handed. Am having to express and give ebm every feed. Amy is very bad at sucking. She doesnt use her whole jaw to suck and gets frustrated and comes off all the time or falls asleep... I am trying hard to give it a good go, but I will need to put a limit on it because I have 2 other girls who are missing out with the amount of time I spend on the couch. Its been busy this past week with appointents and stuff. Amy has had a few dusky episodes where she has turned blue during bottle feeds. So after taking her to the gp and on the advice of the paediatrician I took her to the local er and got her assessed last night. Basically she has poor sucking reflexes and imature windpipe and her drinking and not breathing at the same time has caused her face to turn blue. I have to take her for a follow up assessement at the hospital tomorrow with a paediatrician. Other than that shes a great baby. She is so different to my other 2 girls who would wake for 2 hourly feeds. Amy has to be woken for most feeds and has at times gone 6 hours before a a feed and sleeps 4/5 hour blocks I actually have to make sure she gets fed! Anyway, if anyone has tips on getting her to learn how to suck properly I would appreciate it.

    Hope you are all well.

    Anyone heard from SPF?
