Belfie - Have you tried the ring test? Placing the ring over your belly with a piece of string or necklace? It really is exciting isnt it, love seeing that little bub waving and kicking. Hows X going today?

belfie - Congratulations on your pink bundle. Are you over your illnesses now? Hope you are feeling better!

csab - M seems to be growing more in height suddenly and doesn't seem as small as other babies at MG any more. So maybe V will have a growth spurt soon too?

Well Maya seemed to be doing heaps better after gastro and UTI but now has a really horrible nappy rash that is making her miserable. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a nappy rash cream? I use Sudocream, but wonder if I should use something else on this nappy rash?

Moi we use Bepanthen and love it, you can buy the nappy rash one or just plain bepanthen and they both work really well.
Poor M nappy rash sucks, how have you been, hows work?

Belfie - congrats on a little girl, they really are precious little things, how you feeling?

AFM - off to the Dr's today all my bones are aching and i am over it, my knee has been sore for 3 days and was swollen yesterday... stupid bones.
Ava is good, doesn't stop talking or moving, if she's not playing she's dancing or following me around the house, she loves her sister so much, she came into our bed today and saw Zara and she points, smiles and says Zara then kisses her and pats her head

    Hope everyone else is well.

Belfie - Woohoo on your pink princess bundle. Just what the DR ordered huh? hehhe

Moi - Thats great M had a growth spurt. I am so hoping V shoots up soon. My fingers are crossed. When she is sitting on the floor she looks soooo tiny, when she is walking around she looks so tiny, when she is sitting in her pram or car seat, she looks quite good. Strange..... I have been using cure rash powder and sudocream together, but lately I mainly use curash powder and ......... resolve plus 1.0(preggy brain) you get it from the chemist, but cant use it everyday, i think for 7days.

Zavara - Hope all turns out ok with your bones. GL at the Dr's. How cute is Ava, I think V will be a great big sister too.

Well V and I still got the flu, hopefully doesnt get any worse. V has this really cute thing she does with her toys. She loves her stuffed toys and dolls. She picks them up, one at a time of course and in this cute little girly voice says, Hello baby, (sometimes Bubby) Ohhhh hello baby, Ohhhhh. Then cuddles and kisses them. hehehe. She is also getting quite the temper with the older kids. She also runs around telling everyone that Aammm (adam) poops. hehehe. She also chases after the kids when they take something she wants, yelling at them Heyyyyy Jazmine Heyyyyy, then screams then Mummmmmmy Mummmmy Heyyyyyy jazmine Heyyyyyy. hehehe

    just subscribing to this thread

we are still alve and kicking...hehehehe

Jack has all of his teeth besides his 2yr old molars
Talking like theres no tomorrow, doing it at his pace
He is roughly 14.5kgs, is in a booster seat in the car, takes his seatbelt off when we get in the drive way and says thanks

He is also in a big boy bed as he started climbing out of his cot

No bubba belly here yet...we are planning on TTC #4 from november onwards

jack still has a dummy and still has a bottle

He is also probably going to have to have an op as we are having horrible infections so he will more than likely be circumcised very soon he is on a lot of AB now due to a bad infection

    Ohh.. a snazzy new forum!

    Happy Mother's Day!!

Zarava & csab - Thanks for the nappy rash cream suggestions. I decided to try Bepanthen antiseptic cream and it seemed to work very well. Within a couple of days the nappy rash pretty much disappeared. It's still a bit red but not too bad at all.

Zarava - Have you got the results from your tests yet? I'm still (19 months on) suffering from some pins and needles in my feet and knees and no one can work out what's wrong. The only guess someone made that fits is that it might be nerve damage from retaining fluid during pregnancy. I have no idea if that's right or not though. It does seem to very very slowly be getting better though!

csab - Maya still looks very skinny though compared to other babies. She is still below the 3rd percentile in weight. But I no longer worry about it any more and know that it's just her! V sounds so cute with her talking! I hope you are both over the flu now.

katones - It's good to hear from you. Jack sounds like he's doing very well, except for the infections. Poor boy. I hope that he won't need an operation!

At CC last week M slept 40 mins then 35 mins, so I'm hoping she'll keep that up and hopefully do some longer sleeps there at some stage.

How was everyone's Mother's Days? I got to sleep in yesterday. I got a card that Maya made at CC, which a little message, photo and pictures she'd made. And DH is going to organise to get some photos of us done as a family cos we just never seem to have any nice family shots. ohh and I got some chocolates. And we went to the zoo today.

Moi - so glad the cream helped.. i LOVE it.
The card from M would have been soooo cute, she is gorgeous, can't wait to meet you guys eventually... lol we soo need to get our act together.

Katones - glad to hear you guys are well, poor Jack though with his infections, hope everything is sorted ASAP for you guys.
All his teeth, lucky you.. now just the waiting game for those molars.

csab - V sounds so adorable, are you guys feeling better?

AFM - Dr has re-ordered 6 different blood tests and said there is fluid on my knee and it could be arthritis related it's still quite annoying and at items painful, i have to go back at the end of the week for my results.
Am hoping it's not arthritis as i can't take any of the medications while i am BFing and i am only 26 for gods sake, my nan has a thing calls sjorgens disease which can cause or is a form of arthritis so i now have to go tell my Dr as nan said the only way they diagnosed it was by taking fluid from her knee... they didn't pick it up on blood tests... i don't have to have a needle in my knee.

A has a massive day today but i only just got her to bed about 15min ago, ake, a little bit of softdrink snuck in by her great nan and a whole lot of fun with her older cousins had her on edge, a 20min nap in the car on the way home and she was ready for round two.
I got a pair of diamond earrings and the new moon dvd for M Day and smiles from my gorgeous girls.. it's all i need

Hope everyone else is well and had a great day

we're back from the scan, sure was good to see bub is well really wanted to have 2, but having 1 is good enough.

So...we're now just 1 day shy of 16weeks and the EDD is 27Oct, YAY another October baby!! if he behaves then the 2 babies will have their bdays close together, wishful thinking :P

He wasnt being very co-operative thru the scan, didnt help having a full bladder or having some form on contraction that was not allowing him move. The U/S lady couldnt get a good profile picture of him so pity that

BUT, as you've probably gathered by now, we're having another BOY!! The U/S lady is pretty sure anyways pointing out the doodle and the scrotum and even made sure by going on different angles!! I was getting paranoid about having a girl (not that theres anything wrong with them), its just that both DP and i prefer having boys

Sorry I havent been around, Ive been reading though.

    CONGRATS on the new bubseys

Since ive been missing I dont expect you to know that we had welcomed DS2, Tiger, into the world on 20/10/2010. He's VERY different to Dragon...needs heaps of attention and foremost, he's a chucky little baby

DRAGON has been a little brat, he's still very limited in what he can say, but he's slowly picking it up. Other kids his ages are able to string sentences together, but he's still stuck at the single words and baby babbles stage....sometimes just wish he talked so we know what he wants!!

TT: we're nowhere near it although I really wished the would sometimes. He knows when he's done a poo but refuses to use the toilet *sigh* hopefully sooner or later he'll get there. Im thinking maybe I just need to spend a good solid few days at home with him minus the nappy, but I just havent had the energy or time yet as DS2 loves his cuddles...

UPDATE on us: Our shop's been open for almost a year now, we've been lucky that we've been really busy. But now that we've gotten to the stage where the turnaround rate is too slow that we'll be changing from sole trader to company as we'll be having someone buy into the business to increase the productivity. Han being a panelbeater by trade, we're now having a spray painter by trade so hopefully things will speed up...

Also, pretty sure it was you girls who have been listening to me crap on about Han's little habit...well, an update...he's been good for most parts and he's now been officially off the meds for a few weeks. Just hope that he wont be relapsing. He knows that he has much to lose now with the business and the 2 kids. So hopefully that will be enough encouragement for him to stay on the right track.

Anyways, think that's enough yakking from me. Good to hear that everyone is doing well, welcome to the new bubs and have a happy holiday

    Much love, Rhoda xoxoxox

    Hello everyone.

I've been back on the forums with my new belly buddies, including helly, so I thought I'd drop in and say hi.

Big congratulations on all the babies. You all sound like you're in baby bliss. Hope Christmas was happy for all.

Tanya: you're so strong. Very amazing.

Teru: Jude's language is poor, too. He says some words backwards and struggles with pronunciation. My mum reminded me I didn't talk at all until I was 3, so I can't complain because he can talk a bit, and at least he's trying. Apparently I just grunted. Now I don't shut up, and my intelligence, while questionable, has always got me by.

We tried tt Jude but in the end he just decided on his own to use the potty. We woke up one morning to find him emptying his potty in the toilet, he'd never used the potty before. He used to just sit on it to watch tv. We'd explained it all and watched videos on youtube, so he was just biding his time. Crazy funny boy.

We still haven't bought him a Christmas present, we went to Sydney so we didn't want to carry his gift. Now I don't know what to get him. Poor boy.
