    Morning all,

Thankyou for all the get well vibes especially when you all needed them too. They are all better, V still coughs every now and then but other then that all is good.

Zavara - Yay for the big move. Hows the unpacking going? How are the little ones liking the new house? hahaha how cute.

Belfie - Hope your feeling better, sending loads of get well vibes to you. Yay for having everything sorted with the furniture. It is an awesome date huh to expect bubs, but highly doubt they will let me have bubs that day or even in the new years, due to another c/s. I have a feeling it will be arranged for either the 21st, 28th December and maybe the 4th jan, yet I highly doubt they will let me go over to Jan. I believe they will do the earlier one. They dont want me going into labour due to a high risk of rupture. Yet still along way away yet. I so love the name you have chosen for your little princess, so cute.

Moi - Yay thats excellant that the pead doesnt want to see M anymore. V keeps hovering just under and sometimes just over the 8kg mark. She lost a little bit over the past couple of weeks from not feeling too well, turned off her food etc. We have the dietician appt in July so I am hoping they arent going to be disappointed with her progress. The pead isnt until I think Oct. Hopefully she would have gained a good amount of weight by that time.

Had my hospital appt yesterday, and well let me just say, I am sure V remembers her stay at hospital as as soon as we stepped foot in the doors she played up. Mind you we were there from 8am until 1.15pm. I was sooo exhausted by the time we got home. So not looking forward to future appt's if she is going to be soooo sooky.

hi hi we are still alive and kicking

not much new here...just Jack and all his new words....funny hearing how he says things....

Csab hun there ISN'T a much higher risk of rupture than if it was your 2nd/3rd cesarean!!!!!
I have been offered a VBA3C(vaginal birth after 3 cesareans) next time round if i soo choose!!
you also have as much risk as a 1st time mum who hasn't ever had a cesarean!!!!!!

Katones - Will you be going private or public? For me I am going public and unfortunately they arent willing for me to go into labour on my own. I am expecting some comments from the Dr's when I start seeing them due to me being pg again. I have read up on the VBAC's but I am unsure too, due to how my contractions get and with such long labours, so in a way not sure if it would be wise of me even trying a vbac if they did let me. I am really considering getting some acupunture done on my scar to maybe help either way. I have to think too that my body isnt as young as it used to be either.
My mind is soooo mixed up atm, and a bit nervous and worried about both deliveries and outcomes. Im glad you have someone that is going to support you if you decide, thats great. hugs

I hope everyone is well and those little ones are all well, and those pg again I hope the pgcy is treating you well, and those little bubbas are growing nicely. hugs

Hey guys.. Just got back from 5 days in Sydney so have heaps to catch up on. BJ had a great time seeing his grandparents and cousins. He just loves playing with his cousins and I love seeing it. It's just so cute. He didn't sleep well which means I didn't either so the morning sickness was full on. I got to sleep in this morning though. BJ has a cough & was coughing for an hour at midnight last night. DH & I couldn't do anything but lay in bed & listen grrr... We tried to give him some milk, hoping that would calm his throat but he wouldn't drink it. I was wondering if Panadol would help? What do you all think?

The new thing he loves saying now is Oh Sh*t..... Ooopsy.... I guess he must get that from me. Sometimes he just walks around saying it, other times he says it if he falls over or something lol. I can't help but turn away & laugh. I just need to be more aware of me saying it & stop saying it. I'm sure it'll pass.

He also has a new trick. I hold two fingers up & say how many, he says two, then I hold four fingers up & say how many, he says four, then I point at something red & say what colour, he says red, but the funny thing is is that he just knows the sequence so if I hold 5 fingers up & say how many he says two, then I hold up 3 & he says 4, I point to something blue & say what colour he says red lol. It's so funny.

Will catch up on personals this week.... I promise xx

csab - ahhh hospital appts with a little one are fun.. not I was lucky in that Ava was still quite little for most of mine, hopefully the next one is quicker and easier.
    How you been feeling?

Katones - isn't it great listening to them, how have you guys been.. all good i hope!

Georgi - not sure about panadol for coughs etc, is there any chance you can ring a pharmacy and ask if there is anything safe for him to take? Poor little man.
He is so cute and clever.... Oh S**T isn't it funny how they learn sequences etc, such smart LO's we all have.

AFM - am slowly getting there with the unpacking, Ava 'HELPING' doesn't always help but she really does have the best intentions.
She is 20mths old today, i can't believe it's 4mths til our princess turns 2 and Z was 5mths old yesterday

Ava amazes me she has always called the dogs saying JACK, CASS get here etc (copying us basically) but now she's really starting to form small sentences, the other day she drank all of her milk looked at me and said MUM, MUM it's all gone my little girl is growing up.
Her fave word at the moment is APPLE, she runs up and down the hallway saying apple, apple, apple.. her pear last night was an apple (easy mistake) ten this morn she pointed at the fruit bowl and said mum, mum apple TAAAAAAA
She call the dogs saying jack, cass COME COME and then tries to whistle... it's hilarious.
She's getting quite good with knowing what objects are, if i ask her for mummy's phone she gets my phone from the table (even if beside DP's) same for the remote or Zara's rag (spew rag) i can't believe how quickly she is growing.

They are all so smart i'm sure i was never this clever when i was little.. FIL always comments on how clever little kids are these days and NEVER did they do things the way our kids do.. hehe
He says Ava is so cute and more entertaining than SIL's kids cos she does so much, hmm no favourites hey? but he's right she runs feral and niece and nephew ask if they can take their shoes off

Well better go, got some clothes to sort out.. Z is already nearly in 00 clothes that Ava was wearing at like 10mths old.

Just a quick one cos it's late, i am getting a cold and have a shocking sinus headache but my gorgeous little miss Ava did WEES ON HER POTTY i am so so proud of her, she can take off her own nappy and sometimes in the shower crosses her legs b4 she wees... so we have just been randomly letting her sit on the potty and tonight it worked... BUT she got excited when i clapped, stood up and started clapping and peed on the bathroom floor

then she got in the bath, did a bit of a #2 so i got her out and on the potty and she finished it there... ohhhh i am so proud, i know she's not 'toilet trained' but she's growing up

Zarava - that's awesome about Ava! Bummer re getting a cold I hope it's just a false alarm and goes away.

Georgi - look at your ticker, that's looking fantastic! How are you feeling now? I'm hoping that if your m/s hasn't settled by now, it will soon. Did you get them to check the colour at your 12 wk scan?

csab - GL working out what you want, there's a lot to weigh up, but you know your body best so trust your gut feelings. How are you feeling?

As for us, well X has croup this week, and the doc thinks possibly asthma too. Pls cross your fingers for us that he doesn't. Poor little fella has been very unhappy We're probably also going to see a speech path cos he's really lagging with his talking too. I've booked on in for July so we'll see if it improves by then. Otherwise he's still just the cutest little button, such a happy boy. Between us all, we've still been getting bug after bug (whether cold/gastro etc) so I'm going on mat leave early. Was gonna go at 29 weeks (cos of my high GD risk) but am going in a few weeks instead. I've only been in 1 day of the last 3 weeks, between me or X being sick, it's just ridiculous! So I'm excited thinking about all the things I wanna get done around the house (nesting much? ) cos i'll keep X in his family daycare 2 days a week while I clean up some stuff (empty a room for new bubba girl!) and do DH's bookkeeping. Bubba girl is going well, seems very wriggly and I feel huge haha.

Hope everyone else is going well.

BELFIE - Hope it's not asthma, gosh, that's all you need. Good idea finishing work early. I am going to start looking around at day care centres as work is getting busy & I think it'll be good for BJ anyway. Unfortunately I'm still feeling alot of nausea. It's not where near as bad but just still there. Nope, not finding out the colour this time. It's gonna be a surprise

That's cos it's pink pink PINK!
I really hope the m/s settles soon, it's just foul isn't it! GL finding a good daycare, X loves his which makes it all very pleasant & easy.

Re the asthma, well we probably won't know either way for quite some time. But the doc has started him on ventolin to keep his airways open (cos he finished the prednisolone tonight) - he was soooo good taking the puffs with the spacer and facemask on - honestly I thought he'd freak, cos it's 6 puffs with 4 breaths between each... so it took a while! His little face looked so pathetic through the mask, but he wasn't fussed at all. But now I've got a killer sore throat geez getting every bug under the sun is NOT fun!

no good specialist/paed would diagnose a little un under the age of 2 with asthma and if they do they are useless!!!!

Katones - it was just a GP who flagged that it COULD be asthma but wouldn't be diagnosed yet... so we're just keeping an eye on it. He sure was one very puffed/wheezy little boy with the croup. Plus with his food allergies & ezcema we knew he would be high risk for asthma anyway, so just crossing fingers that we don't have a winter of croup & coughs. He seems to have come good now tho, off the ventolin & predmix which is great.

Georgi - how are you feeling now? It really sux that you're still feeling bad I remember just HATING it, so I really truly hope you feel better soon.

AFM I had an embarassing morning. Finally made it back to work after a few weeks of me or X sick... nearly fainted on the train, managed to stagger off, nearly fainted on the platform and got wheelchaired off by St Johns! Finally made it work (really needed to drop off my laptop) and my last day is gonna be Monday! so i'm excited about that. My other grief is my right hip/sacroiliac joint which is giving me major grief. I can't push a shopping trolley more than 5metres without it cramping up, have been trying to avoid lifting X as much as possible, and as for rolling over in bed omg ow ow ow! Then finally the penny dropped the other day when seeing my osteo... cos she was saying why it happens and all this blah blah. Well I got some pelvic floor nerve damage with X's birth - the right side of my PFM is only half the strength of the left side because of the nerve damage (great with a vaginal prolapse as well - NOT!)... and that's making the right hip worse... duh of course that makes sense, I just hadn't realised before. So i'm hobbling around and praying it eases up earlier this time. Last time it settled at about 30 weeks, so I'm just hanging out for it to settle... and in the interim... online shopping here i go!

    Thanks Belfie. hugs

Well V was admitted into hospital on Wednesday after being seen in emergency discharged yesterday afternoon. Her breathing seemed like she was struggling. They have treated her with steroids, for three days which includes today, to help open her lungs and has been having ventolin at first every 1-2hrs then 3hrs, and today 4hrly. Tomorrow she should be on 6hrs and the Sunday 8hrs. They believe she has either bronchoilitis again or has now developed asthma. There were some findings on her chest xray, but waiting to speak with her pead on Monday as to what is going on. Looks like she is going to need another chest xray. They admitted V as they wanted to treat her with caution since last yrs hospital stay.
Had her seen by the gp today and she was happy with how her chest sounds so hopefully it stays that way.
Have also picked up the flu, and it didnt help matters when sleeping under an air vent at the hospital. On the bright note, got to hear bubs HB today, so something to cling to until next weeks NT scan. Fingers crossed I get some good results.

I hope everyone is well, and once I feel better and little V isnt taking up as much of my time, I will try hard to pop in some more with personals. hugs all

ohh I should mention, if V needs more frequent puffs on the ventolin, like less then 3hrly, she needs to be back in hospital. So hpefully that wont happen.

Hi ladies, just an update, little V is asleep atm but will need to be quick as there is so much to do around the house. Looks like a bomb shell hit. Well V seemed to be going strong yesterday and even the Dr's were commenting on how hyper she was. Well she is hyped up due to the ventolin and the steroids that she has been on. Well she woke up at midnight crying, gave her her does of ventolin, she was still very unsettled and appeared to be in pain. Straight away I thought of her ears. Anyway gave her some panadol to help her sleep, not that it did much as she stayed awake until after 2.30am would only sleep if I was holding her and sitting up, she ended slept for about an hour, still tossing turning and groaning, ended up taking her out and she slept on me on the recliner again still tossing turning and moaning. We got some sleep on and off until 9am, in which I then had made an appt to see the Dr again. Saw the DR, and yep she has an infected ear, poor little thing. She just doesnt seem to get a break. So she now has drops and antibiotics for her ears and the ventolin for her breathing. Hopefully she starts feeling better soon, and hopefully the Pead can give me some good news on Monday afternoon. She has even started getting a temp today.

Just a quick one from me as not sure how long will get b4 one of the girls wakes.

csab - i hope poor lil V is up and about ASAP, it's so hard when they are sick.. poor little thing..

We have had a sick little girl here too, Ava has an ear and throat infection had a fever for 2 days straight, didn't move off the couch and stopped eating which completely freaked me out, even when she's not well she still runs around and eats.
THEN she got the fever shakes and panadol/nurofen combo wasn't helping much so off to the Dr's (new Dr in new town) we went and he looked at me like i was some paranoid psycho... I KNOW MY DAUGHTER AND SHE'S SICK i had to tell him... f**king idiot!

So she is now on anti's and panadol & nurofen to keep her temp under control, she was a bit better today, still not eating properly and very clingy, would only sleep on me which was quite uncomforable.. BUT she has been sleeping MOST of the night which is good considering how bad she has been during the day.

Hope everyone else is well, stupid weather causing everyone to be sick.

Zarava - I hope poor Ava is feeling better now. It sucks when they are sick! Ava sounds so clever though! Getting DVDs ready to watch and using a potty. M loves sitting on her potty but never does anything in it.

csab - I'm sorry to hear that V has been so sick! How awful for her and you. I hope she's doing better now! M seems to get sick with something new every week now that she's going to CC.

belfie - Your last day at work today. I hope everything settles down for you. Must have been scary nearly fainting at a station. Actually I did faint at a station once and I wasn't pregnant. And people just ignored me... cos they prob thought I was drunk. But it was such an awful experience for me and left me feeling like no one would be there if I needed help in public! How's X doing now?

Georgi - I felt sick for my entire pregnancy. Hopefully yours will go soon though! BJ sounds so clever with his counting and colours and LOL on the swearing. I said s**t recently and straight away M replied with s**t back. Oppps. Thankfully I haven't heard it again.

AFM I have been working heaps on reports and have just had it now. I feel like they will never get done. But thankfully this is my last week of work before the holidays and I really need a break!!

Poor M just seems to catch one bug after another. Always on a Friday too (one of my work days!!). Last Friday I took her to a doctor because she'd been up half the night crying and she said that M has a very red, sore throat. I've been waiting for it to develop further, and she did cough for a bit, but do far that's it. So fingers crossed she's recovered quickly from that one! Before that she had another gastro type bug, but also got over that quickly. And before that she has a very bad ear infection in BOTH ears!! Poor girl. She was on ABs for TWO weeks on some very strong ABs!! Thankfully her ears totally cleared up, which the DR said is a great sign because some kids don't seem to be able to get rid of ear infections.
