LD: Yes apprently you can lose your job while on Maternity leave, i didnt think you could but cause its due to financial reasons, its possible.
I can totally understand why you are hesitating to have another bub, you had a hard PG by the sounds of it, and i remember the last few months of PG on here how hard it was for you. I dont clash so much with Leo but with my first we are always banging heads hehe, he drives me mad sometimes cause he thinks when i'm feeding Leo its his free ticket to muck around, the monkey... hehe
Let me know when your on FB would love to be friends on there.

Skybie: I'm glad i'm not the only one TTC again, woohoo hun, good luck i hope your isnt to far away i have everything crossed for you
I dont really mind what month my next bub will be due, just not August as everyone i know has an August baby, so hopefully i will get a BFP soon, i would love a Feb baby actually.... I can only dream, who knows when it will happen this time round at least my body is getting back into the swing of things thanks to Clomid...

    Hi girls,

everytime I come on now there is so much to catch up on, I do lurk often just not getting much time to post!
sooo, I have stopped BF and feel so much better about it all now. I had ALOT of guilt but know I have done the best thing for us both (me mental health wise ) and Ella for putting on weight and sleeping - I had forgotten ho wet her nappies should have been and its only now that I realise that she really wasn't getting enough. The important thing is that we are both much happier.

Reflux is STILL an issue. She went to the physio yesterday (as nurse picked up muscle probs and not rolling much at 6 month check) and surprise, surprise - it all is because of her reflux and her arching her back and not relaxing her body enough (as so used to pain) so got some exercises to do with her daily to encourage more movement.

Seeing a new Paed in a few weeks so hopefully he can give her a good check all over and give us some ideas to get rid of theis stupid reflux - funny cause before I had DD all I knew of reflux was that it gave you a spewy baby (I WAS SOOOOOO WRONG) had no idea of the implications and complications it would cause us

    settling
    sleeping
    FEEDING
    muscle development
    pain associations
    sadness
    PND (for me)
    and the list goes on....

    anyways hugs to all xox

Awww Ery hun, you have had such a rough time of it but I am so so please to hear that you are feeling much better about the BF thing and that you are both much happier in general! You did such a great job BFing with so many hurdles to overcome
I had no idea the things that reflux could cause and it seems poor Miss Ella has coped so much of it! You should be so proud of yourself you are doing such a great job getting through all of this, well done babe! I do hope the new paed has some great ideas x

Maya- I hope this getting upright makes this child sleep better through the day!!!!!

    Cam you about hun?

hi all, wow lots going on here. i kept thinking it had been so quiet and realised there was a new thread that i didnt have the link for! no wonder im behind the times.

ery you should be so proud of yourself, i know how dam hard it is to have a reflux baby, and mines nowhere near as bad as ella, bf doesnt help as i keep getting reminded as its not as heavy as formula and comes up easier, so again you should be proud for getting this far. i hope ella settles soon for you, giving you a bit of a break. have you noticeed a difference so far? how did the new pead go? i may have to look into the lack of movement as jades not made any attempt to roll crawl or anything, thought she was just a bit of a lazy bones or it was cos shes rather large, but perhaps theres more to it...

LD yeah shes a show off! lol nah thats fantastic, and maya same to you your girls are gunna be up and running soon keeping you on your toes!

skye and BM goodluck girls i am crossign my fingers for you, i cant wait to hear the good news, how exciting, i do think your both quite mad lmao but i also know where you're coming from, so good luck. hope they are quick bfp's for you both.
we have been busy here, had many weeks of issues with non-stop crying, settling issues, mummy going insane etc, but we do (fingers crossed) seem to be on the other side of it now, she still has her days but nowhere near as bad, and im really starting to enjoy it all shes so aware and has her own little personality its just lovely.
shes not interested in rolling, crawling, sitting none of that, im hoping it will come in her own sweet time, but after reading erys post i might have to look into that if nothing happens soon.
loves her tucker has all sorts of vegies, fruit, meat, fish, cheese and yoghurt, and seems rather upset if she doesnt get to try whats on your plate at dinner time! she squeals to get attention and opens her mouth its so cute.
we're weaning slowly, have weaned 1 and albut weaned the second feed, i have had mastitis again so were going very slowly. but once this second feed is gone i dont mind if we still keep a couple of feeds for a couple more months, its at her own pace now when she shows signs that shes over me, its gone, no more struggling to get her back on, no more emotional meltdowns from me.
we have seperation issues, i cant leave her with anyone, not even dh, she wont have a bottle from anyone not even dh, so in order to stop her screaming i just have to be with her all the time. i dont want my little angel upset... the only good thing to come from this is that the "W" word was mentioned and quickly taken back off the table.

anyhoo i best be off, i hope youre all well and look forward tohearing from the MIA's soon, hope you guys are just busy.

Thanks LD for your kind words!

Jen - I was surprised too when the physio told me that it was caused by the reflux, but made perfect sense when she was explaining it! Is Jade on Zantac or Losec? I found that the zantac lost all of its effectiveness (not that it EVER helped much) so maybe if she isn't on the losec you could look into that too. It's weird cause shes actually spewing more than she did when I was BF but i think thats because shes just taking in heaps more as she was not having enough (clearly by the weight loss and lack of wet nappies). She does seem happier though not sure if thats te fact that shes actually getting full now from a feed or that shes eating more solids or the reflux has settled a bit or just age and develoment? As with the movement, it all has to do with how stiff Ella was when she would feed and the arching of her back and throwing her hands back, she used to be punching me or pushing me away while she was feeding so clealy uncomfortable and therefore she developed strong back muscles but not anything in front and have to get her arms used to being forward and her whole weight forward.
I sooooo hear you on the mummy melt downs! I have to say I havent cried once this week so that is a good sign that I am doing better (and Ella!)
Facebook me if you want more info and we can chat (I know i rambled on a bit hear and prob didn't make much sense!!!)
