Sorry for no persies, I have been having an absolute s**t of a week!! My Nanna has been diagnosed with Terminal Cancer now, at best she has 12 months :crying:
And on top of all this hot weather to deal with, the air con in my car has totally died and becuase Kia only use genuine parts, there is no cost cutting and its going to cost $2k to fix :computer:
I propbably wont be on much for a while over the Xmas break, going down south for my usual month but will be back and forwards as much as possible so will try and chat as often as possible!
Anyhoo, can hear Ben and Summer laughing together so must be time I went and enjoyed them!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all you wonderful ladies, you are a special bunch and I love being part of this group. And a big sloppy, breast milk covered Merry Christmas to the bubbies!! Goo goo gaa gaa ... :shakehead: I am such a dork.
Love you all

Just a quicky from me.....
Raffy - Thanks honey. Noah has been much better, although he woke at 11:15pm, 3:10am and 6:15am for feeds! Not that I minded as he helped my painful sore boobie out a little! lol I'm sorry about you thinking that your milk is "drying" up. I had the same worry a few weeks ago and like Vix and Clover told me, try not to stress about it and just keep feeding Coop. The more he feeds from your breasts the more milk you will make. I know it's hard to not stress about it either, but try not to because stress can't be good for your supply either. Also keep in mind that as our bubs grow older, they are able to drink milk from our breasts quicker, hence our boobs feeling less full. That's what I found with Noah anyway. Huge 's to you honey!
Nikki - Oh honey!!   I'm soooooo sorry to hear about your Nanna. I wish you lived closer as I'd come and give you a real big hug in person!! Please know that I'm thinking of you and your family and that I will keep your Nan in my prayers. That sucks about your aircon in your car and how expensive it is to get it fixed. DH's aircon in his truck died too and his is going to cost almost $3,500 to fix! :wall: He's going to wait until next month because he doesn't have the money for it now either. Hope you have a great time down South and have a fabulous Chrissy!
AFM, have a really bad fever, temp spiked to 37.7°C this morning and feeling hot and cold! Hopefully it doesn't turn into mastitis! I have been massaging my breast and having Noah feed from that boob more frequently and have expressed some of it as well although it seems to be getting worse and not better. Any tips on what I should do??? On top of that I have a rash all over my body too (obviously caused by the fever) as I always get a rash when I have a fever so not a great way to be nearing Christmas...
Well then, to my shock, my little man has been asleep for the past 2 and 1/2 hours WOW :o so I might go do some dishes while I get the chance! lol
Love to you all and have a fabulous Christmas!!!

Pretz - If you have a temp, I would say mastitis has already set in. Keep massaging the lump under a hot, running shower with your arm in the air. Also, express, express, express every last drop out of your boob after Noah has finished feeding and ALWAYS feed that side first at every feed until the lump disappears, and just express the other side if he doesnt empty it when you swamp him over. I woke up on Christmas Eve at midnight with a couple of lumps too in my right boob. Really really sore, but have managed to keep feeling ok so far. Still fricken hurts!! Hope your feeling better. Also thanks for the big cyber hugs, they have made me feel better already :)
raffy - Ben went through a stage of not wanting boob either for a couple of days. He would latch on and then soon as I had let down, would pull off screaming. I figured my flow was too fast so would lay down at every feed for a couple of days just until he got himself sorted. It seemed to work. Also, babies can feel if you are tense and stressed (which is hard not to be, i know!), so try having a bath with Coop, or a warm shower and feed him in there. Make it as relaxing as possible and your milk should flow well. I dont think your milk will dry up while you are still feeding, like Pretz said, the more you feed, the more you make. Try ringing the ABA for some extra help if you need it. Also, during really hot weather, like it has been in WA lately, your body (clever little things we are), will make your milk more watery to make sure your baby doesnt get dehydrated, so they wont feel as full after a feed, and babies (also being the clever little things they are) feed a lot more often in hot weather because they are somehow tuned in to making sure they dont get dehydrated, which is why, in stinking hot weather, they are hungry, hungry hungry, and all you feel like you do is feed and get hot and sweaty as a result!!! Big hugs hun
Right that is enough advice from my big trap for one day!!
Got to go pack the car now for going away for awhile. Will be back on on Friday before I have to go to a girlfriends wedding.
Hope you all had a nice Christmas!!!

morning lovelies.
Hope everybody had a great xmas. We did. Xmas eve Vin was a clingy koala baby and slept probably a total of 3 hours ALL day between 830 when we got up and 11pm when we went to bed. So he was a bit of a crank :( luckily part of the time he slept was when we opened all the presents because it was MADNESS! and I could not hold all mine and his presents let alone try holding him too..
yesterday we spent the day with family eating great food and I got home feeling sick like I do every year lol (you think I'd learn..). Vin slept much better yesterday and so far today has only been awake for about an hour and a bit. So I think he's definitely making up for friday. Poor lil guy was soooooooooo tired but just wouldn't sleep (I think even though he's so little he just knew there was something big happening and didn't wanna miss out).
Dammit I just read all the posts and now can't remember what I was gunna reply.
Raffy bugger about your milk :( have u been to see a lactation consultant? perhaps they can help you out with advice?
Pretz I think it may have been the needles making him unsettled friday. but I don't think he was too bad. highest temp I saw was 37.4 which is not bad at all. he's only had panadol once since the needles so I think we got away pretty lucky :)
with the middle name I wrote a letter to send with my form and explain everything to BDM and asked if they have the authority to make the decision for us. not sure if they are allowed to do that, but its worth a try and if they say we should still discuss it between us I'll be taking it via my lawyer because I really don't think his mother should be naming our child. hes not her child.
nikki so sorry to hear about your nanna :( thats horrible news. and bugger about your air con. they are not cheap!
Speaking of horrible.. A family I know here had the worst possible day the other day (thursday). their grandfather died on their fathers side, and the SAME day their mums aunt and uncle were killed in a fatal accident just down the road from their place. the people who attended to the accident said there was xmas presents everywhere and it was just horrible. so so sad. :(
Vin and I are having a lazy day today. Not doing anything at all. Maybe I'll give him a bath but that's about it.

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! Alannah was spoilt.
Wishing everyone a happy and safe NYE and all the very best for 2011.

Morning Mummies and beautiful babies!!
Beckles - Yay on the new lappie! I agree with ya - 2010 was a great year for us all having been blessed with our beautiful little bundles of joy! ;)
Nikki - Thanks honey, I'm feeling alright again, still feel a biggish lump in my left boob and it's painful when I touch it, press on it, but nothing like the pain I had from it on Friday and Saturday. Other than that feeling fine. If the lump doesn't go away in a few days I might just see the GP incase it is something else? Hope you're ok and that your lumps didn't turn into anything more either. Hope you're enjoying your time away and your girlfriends wedding this coming weekend. Oh and enjoy some of that nice sunny weather for me please because it's just been raining, raining, raining here and we're all getting sick of it!! :wall:
Raffy - Hope that Coop has been feeding better the past few days and that your milk supply has sorted itself out. :crossfingers:
Clover - Thinking of you and hoping that all is going well with the feeding.
Vix - Thanks honey, I hope that 2011 is a great year for you too! Do you have any plans? And I was wondering how your Chrissy day went with MIL, did she "behave" herself. Hope she didn't cause any drama's.
Brydz - Glad to hear you and Vinny had a great Christmas. I looked at your photos on FB and he has grown heaps. Sooooo cute! I will keep my fingers crossed that everything works out with Vinny's middle name to be registered on his birth certificate. Have you heard from J or his family again since the last time you spoke with them?
Group Question - Should I be worried/getting worried that Noah can't hold his head up for long yet and all of a sudden HATES tummy time? When I hold him with his body towards me and his head looking over my shoulder he holds his head up for long periods of time, but when sitting his head still flops about a bit....??
AFM, have had a busy last few days - with all the rain we had some minor flooding downstairs in our house and thankfully no damage was caused to our furniture, but some boxes with books got badly damaged and we had to rearrange and repack everything, which took ages with a clingy baby around! lol Thankfuly it's all done now.
We're off to go see my girlfriend, her hubby and my goddaughter today for lunch so should be nice to get out of the house seeing as we've been stuck inside because of all the rain....
If I don't get to come on here again before then, I wish you all a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR and hope that 2010 is a great year for you all and that all your dreams come true!!
Love to you all!

Pretz - went to see a LC and my milk is gone :( so Coopers is exclusively FF now. she recons with the last few weeks ive had and the numerous panic attacks its dried up due to stress. im totally bummed about it but at the same time i dont have to worry about him not getting enough and now DF gets to help out with feeds to.
Sorry to here about ur house being flooded. that totally sucks. im sending you some of Perth Sunny weather, we have more than enough. i look like an old lady due to the amount of time ive spent in the pool over the last few days lol
Cooper still flops his head after hes been sitting for a while but like you said can hold it up really well when hes over my shoulder. he also hates tummy time, but he always has, will only do it 2-5mins max before he screams the place down.
hope you enjoy your day out having lunch with your friends, hope the weather isnt to horrible for you
AFM - had one of 'those' days yesterday. after having it confirmed that my milk has dried up i got really upset, Cooper could obviously pick up on it and everytime i held him he would cry, so by the end of the night i didnt want anything to do with him. i figured he didnt want me anymore because without milk i was of no use to him. DF bathed, fed and put him to sleep and also got up to him at 4am. he then (and rightly so) had a go at me this morning so i made a point to change Coopers bum and have a play, now DF and Coops have gone visiting friends coz i have to take my brother to the traino. it sounds horrible but i think i need the break, just to get my head around all this stuff :wall::wall:
sorry bout my vent. thanks for reading xx
-
howdy all. not a lot been happening around here. just doing some rearranging and cleaning.
have sorted thru all Vins clothes and grouped the stuff hanging into sizes and separated them so I don't get all mixed up. Want him to have a chance to WEAR all his 000 stuff before he gets too big. I already put aside all the stuff he no longer fits in, and there was a bit of stuff he NEVER used :(
washed and dried all the new xmas clothes. currently drying my sheets etc. as I got a new bedspread and decided it was time to have new clean sheets to go with it. (i'm lazy and don't wash mine as often as I should).
Little man is down for a nap in his big boy cot since about 11ish :) he last fed at 10 so is probably due to wake for boobie soon.
pretz -bummer about the flood. with regards to the middle name I guess I won't hear anything until after the holiday period. and as for your group question - I wouldn't be worried if he can hold it up when ur holding him vertical. sounds like he's doing just fine. not all babies like tummy time. vin does but often will just lay with his head on the ground and not make the effort to lift it (though he can lift it like 90 degrees if he wants to).
Raffy -bummer that ur milk has gone :( that is no good. at least u know now though and aren't just guessing. i'm wondering if my milk is starting to go too because he is feeding more frequently and my boobs barely get to feel like there's anything in them now days. and my nipples are really sore. did that happen with urs? cos if theres nothing coming out i'm sure they must try and suck harder than usual..
hey don't get bummed if u need a break u need a break. babies are hard work. hope u enjoyed the time apart and relaxed a little.
Vinny is only sleeping thru occasionally. Last night it was 9-4 and 4-730.
The night before it was 10-130, 130-530, 530-830.
It's really frustrating me too. Going to up his night time bottle feed now that he's passed 2 months. And try his cocoon again. Hopefully something will help.

Raffy - sorry to hear your bf has come to an end. It is sad and I understand how you feel. With DS#1 I had mastitis for 6 weeks straight and had to wean I was not getting any better, was always on anti-b's. Mine was pnd related. Next baby it might be different. You will hopefully feel calmer....and besides, Cooper will be happy just being fed - regardless how! I had to give Alannah a bottle at midday yesterday as I simply had a very low supply yesterday. She happily skulled half of it and then crashed! She still gets her bottle at night too - for my sanity. You have done a BRILLIANT JOB! BE SUPER PROUD OF YOURSELF! *massive bug bear hug*
Pretz - Alannah is lazy too...in fact 30 mins ago I just had the convo with her about lifting her head! lol She just lies there and sometimes might turn her head from one side to another but I find she face plants and just lays there which can be a wee bit freaky as her face and nose are covered. With Noah (my Noah! ) he rarely had tummy time and would just lay on my chest as I was sitting up or sit up for a short period of time like you have been doing with Noah. He will just suddenly do it hun!
Brydz - don't forget to if you have been busy and or not resting during the day your milk will be low too. This third time round I think that is half my problem as having three kids is flat out ALL the time! *yawn and makes a coffee!*
Hiya to everyone else.
May not be back on tomorrow as I have to pack to go away on Sunday. Yes......with three kids it takes THAT long to pack!
Oh, had my ultrasound for my Thyroid this week and was going to see the GP on Sat but realised it is a PH. Bugga! Then we will be away for a week so I have to wait to the week after for my results.
Okay, Alannahrama is watching Animal Planet so I really should move her. Wish she would sleep for more than 40 mins at a time during the day.

Hi guys :)
Sorry I haven't been in much lately, been pretty flat out & still haven't caught up!
Christmas was great. Poured rain all day, but it was still a really good day. Kids got spoilt rotten.
We hadn't planned on getting anything, but were lucky & had a little suprise from the ATO ON chrissy morning, lol. Didn't discover it til 5pm though.
So we got ourselves the lovely 42" LCD TV as seen on facebook, a mower for DH, a new mobile phone for me (finally have 3g again!) & a vac that I'm not happy with, lol.
Summer had her first real giggle yesterday. Was so funny, she cacked herself at DD1 walking past her, then did it again. I had her on my arm, facing away from me 7 thought she was crying!!
She's started to get around the porta cot. Turns around to where ever she wants to be. (TV is a fave here too )
OMG I knew that was Miley Cyrus (watching silly tv, lol)
Anyone doing anything exciting for New Years? Mum has the older kids & friends invited us to their party, but I'd rather sleep, lol. Previously mentioned friends ruined my last new years (had planned a night out, but they came over & refused to leave til after 12, with their DD so we couldn't go anywhere. Knew we had plans...)
I dunno, we might go over for a bit since the kids aren't here (& coz we haven't been to their house since Summer was born. I hear about how slack I am all the time, trust me )
We'll see.
-
Raffy - I'm so sorry to hear about your milk honey!! Just remember that you have done an EXCELLENT and TERRIFIC job breastfeeding Coops and that it's great that you were able to breastfeed him for as long as you did! I agree with what Vix said about him being happy just being fed! Hope you're still enjoying your time over in Perth and spending time with your family and friends.
Brydz - Don't worry about Vinny not sleeping through the night yet - I still have Noah wake up once a night for a feed too, although over the past 3 nights he has slept for longer stretches and goes til about 4am-5am before now waking for his feed. Vinny will sort himself out eventually I'm sure. How is your milk supply feeling now? I too had a week where I thought my milk was going, but thankfully the week after it was better. I now actually have the problem of waking up in the middle of the night or the morning with ENGORGED boobies! lol It could just be that Vinny is drinking quicker than he used to and that is why your breasts seem less full. :)
Vix - Where are you heading off to? Hope you have a great time away. I can only imagine how long it must take to pack for 2 adults and 3 little people! It takes me 3 hours just to get out the door to go somewhere which includes re-stocking Noah's diaper bag and I only have one! I'm sure though that by the time you have more than one, you get better and quicker at it hey? I hear ya on the sleep through the day. Noah doesn't sleep for longer than 30 mins at a time either and will only sleep about 2-3 times during the day. Luckily he is sleeping for longer stretches now through the night!
Clover - Yay on the LCD TV! How cute about Summer having her first giggle. Noah has been giggling at least once a day at some stage during the day. It just melts my heart hearing him giggle. We don't have any special plans for New Years Eve or New Years day. Will probably go to bed way before midnight tomorrow night and will just be spending New Years day at home. :)
Raffy, Brydz & Vix - Thanks for your info and advice on the tummy time. I'm glad that Noah isn't the only one that is lazy/hating tummy time! I guess he will sort himself out soon and that I should just keep doing what I'm doing as he seems to be getting better. In fact, ever since I posted my group question I have noticed a big improvement in his neck control and it seems stronger than ever before. ;)
AFM, have had a busy couple of days. We went to my girlfriend's place for lunch the other day and we all had such a great time that we ended up staying there for dinner too!! :p Caught up with her and her little girl again today and went shopping. I'm so happy that Noah was such a good boy and even slept in his pram while we were shopping for an hour and was very alert and didn't scream the roof down as he usually does! lol I've got another busy day tomorrow - off to drop Noah off at my MIL's while I go to the physio and then go see my GP to get a new referral for my OB/Gyn. Phoned and made an appointment with my OB/Gyn for 20 January as I'm still having really bad pain and discomfort with DTD and can't tolerate it. Sorry for TMI, but DH had a look for me and it appears I may have a stitch under the skin that may not have dissolved... Well then, Noah went to sleep around 8:15pm tonight and I only had dinner at 8:30pm, then a shower, washed dishes, folded his washing and now that it's time for a bit of "me" time, I'm too exhausted to bother watching TV or do anything else, so might head off to bed too!
Hope you all have a great night and great last day of 2010 tomorrow!!
Love to you all!

afternoon ladies.
Thanks for all the hugs and kind words re: my milk (or there lack of) my mums being saying the same thing but i just havent gotten around it in my own head, i still feel crumby about it all :(
had a sh*t fight with DF last night! ive been absolutley EXHAUSTED the last few days coz coops has been so grumpy and he wakes during the night for a few hours and then is up for good at 5am, but whenever its DFs turn to get up to him the little bugger sleeps for 10 hours!!!!!!!!! :wall::wall: so he woke up at 3am and i got up to him, but excuse me for being in a bad mood, its fricking 3am and im literally asleep on my feet. so i mumbled a few swears under my breath in DFs direction and went and laid on the couch, Cooper was a little squirmy but hes eyes were closed he was just fighting it a bit. but DF barges in and yanks him off me and woke him up!! so the sucker walked around for an hour and a half before they both finally crashed (karma i think) now whenever Coopers in a bad mood and DF has him i ASK if he wants me to take him or i SUGGEST ways to make him stop crying. DF is in the habit of TELLING me to do things and it makes me feel like crap. it just adds to my feeling that im truely sucking at this whole 'mother' thing. so out of spite of took of my engagement ring and slept in the spare bed, ive given him the silent treatment this morning but hes either pretending he doesnt care or he actually doesnt care :shakehead: i no im being juvenile, but hes doing my head in. i love him i really do...
anyways he have our friends from NSW, who are staying at thier parents house 2 towns over (small world huh??) coming over this arvo for a few drinks and a swim in the pool for nye. MIL is coming to get coops later so we can have a care free, baby free night. one of the plus' about not BFing i spose
hope you all have wonderful nights and happy and healthy 2011s
talk to you all next year xx

Hi All, Hope you are all going well and have had a great NYE. We went to a girlfriends wedding last night, was a good way to bring in the New Year with all my friends back in the one spot at the one time. Seriously, people came from all over the world, people of my age just get that travel bug!!!
Big hugs Raffy - sorry to hear about your milk going, but at least you got 2.5 months of feeding in. Thats a really good job!! Cooper will thrive regardless of what hes fed, so just try and enjoy having your boobs back to yourself hehe Hope things sort out with DF. Things always seem 10 times worse when you have a little baby to look after and are really tired.
Pretz - Ben HATES tummy time too, but the little blighter has just learnt to roll over, so as soon as I put him on his tummy he flips back over and laughs about it it. Grrr but so precious hehe I dont know if they sell them Australia wide, Im sure they do though becuase they are so awesome, but try investing in a Bumbo. Its a little round rubber chair that babies can sit in from around 3 months. Helps strengthen their backs and necks and helps to get them to sit up. I put Summer in one from 3 months and she was sitting up by herself by 5.5 months and I reckon it is one of the reasons why. Also, Im sure Noah is the same - But Ben hates being laid down when he is awake, like if Im trying to cook tea or something, hes such a sticky beak - and the bumbo lets you sit them up without having to hold them. Pure GENIUS!
Hello to everyone else!!!
AFM - Going back down south shortly, after all my washing has been done. Going to get my little princess from mums house and have some lunch with my sister (I have a feeling she got engaged last night, but we will see). I weighed Ben yesterday and the whopper has put on 400g this week. Far out brussell sprout, he now weighs 7.3kg and is about 63.5cm long. He is seriously a giant. Going to put him in the Jolly Jumper today, he is such a wiggle worm and loves to stand up, I think he will enjoy it.
-
Hello gorgeous ladies!
HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone!! Hope you're all having a fantastic New Year's Day! :confetti:
Raffy - Sorry to hear about your fight with DF! Hope you guys sort everything out soon. I can totally understand how you must feel when you're tired and exhausted having to look after a bub and when you're struggling to settle them through the night. I'm exhausted all the time too and actually surprised I'm not moody about it 24/7. I do most of Noah's settling at night too as DH works by driving a truck and I wouldn't want him to fall asleep behind the wheel. He does wake up at night and ask whether he can help and sometimes I let him as I'm about ready to fall over. Just remember that no matter what others might say, you are doing an excellent job as a Mummy to Coop!
Nikki - Glad to hear that Noah is certainly not the only bub HATING tummy time! How awesome about Ben rolling over! You must be sooooo proud! Thanks for the Bumbo. I will have a look online and see which stores have them as I might get Noah one. ;) You're right too, Noah also hates when you lay him down, he wants to see what's going on around him. Even when he is in his pram, he always wants to sit up. lol Way to go on Ben's great weight gain, he is growing really, really well and you're doing an awesome job! Haven't weighed Noah for 2 weeks and he was 6.3kg then, so not sure what he weighs now. He was also 63cm then, so not sure if he is any taller by now! lol Enjoy down South - look forward to seeing some piccies when you get back!
Hello to everyone else!
AFM, just having a quiet day at home today with Noah. DH got a job yesterday and is working today and tomorrow, but it's good money, so he doesn't mind and I'm just doing whatever I can to tidy up around the house a bit when Noah is asleep for the few minutes he sleeps! lol
Well then, better get going before he wakes up again, but will talk to you all again soon.
Love to you all.

:partysmiley: Happy New Year to everyone!!
Hope you are all enjoying celebrating the 1st day of this new year with your loved ones. We had a lovely NYE at our local broadwater, watching the fireworks, well Madi slept thru them, and we had bought her proper ear muff things from the baby shop, so she couldnt hear them anyways...lol she looked like a mini pit crew member with them on.
Nikki & Pretz: Madi got a bumbo for xmas, as seen in ticker pic, she doesnt mind it too much, and like most of the bubby's, she loves looking at the telly :o
Raffy: Congrats on feeding as long as you have, you have done great! I didnt make it more than a few weeks, but i dont beat myself up, because Madi is happy & healthy, and thats the most important thing!
Hello everyone else :hello:
AFM: well 1st xmas & new year has come and gone, I feel like Madi is growing sooo quickly! We had some issues with feeding, and GP diagnosed silent reflux. She is now on Novalac Reflux & it has made a BIG difference. No more screaming at feeds!!!
Madi is in her own room in her cot now, with a sound & movement monitor for my peace of mind. She is sleeping 12 hours straight at night & has 3 naps per day, for anywhere from 1/2hr to 2 hrs. The 1st time, I woke up at 630am, and had a major panic cause she hadnt woken me at her usual 4am ish. Wow, I ran to her room SO FAST!
On a down side, the formula makes her really constipated which is horrible, but giving infants friend a few times a day seems to be keeping it in check.
Having a quiet day today. Me & DP off to see little fockers in the gold class tonight! my best friend is babysitting madi for the 1st time.
hope you are all well

HAPPY NEW YEAR - im still recovering. considering i hadnt been drunk since last new years im pretty proud of my effort lol. but nah it was good to relax with friends and act like a 20 year old again, but i couldnt wait to see Coops this morning
thanks everyone for your kind words. DF and i are back on track of course. just me being hormonal coz i got my period today :o i was stoked i made it to the 1st coz that means i didnt have a period at all in 2010 lol
anyway staying at DFs parents house tonight and they are slow cookin a roast on the bbq and gee wizz it smells awesome.
Hope you all enjoyed your first day of 2011
love ya'll
-
Beckles - Great to hear that Madi slept through the fireworks. Awesome that Madi got a Bumbo for Chrissy. I looked online today and see that you can buy them at Babies Galore, so might get one there. I was going to ask Nikki, but might be able to ask you too - is it ok to put Noah in it even though he can't fully hold his head up all the time yet? He is getting stronger by the day and can hold his head up pretty well, but after a while he still gets a bit tired. I guess I could always get one and try him in it in a few weeks as I'm sure he'll be able to hold his head up properly then. ;) Hope you enjoy the movie. I would love to see it too.
Raffy - Sorry to hear that you got the dreaded old AF back, but WTG on not having a period at ALL in 2010!! That's awesome. I was just saying to DH this evening that last year this time I was UTD and tomorrow a year ago I had my m/c (chemical pregnancy). So tomorrow a year ago was my last period (if you can call it that). It's awesome not having have had a period for so long! Hopefully I can go a while longer without it as I truly and utterly HATE my periods thanks to endometriosis and ovarian cysts! :wall: Glad to hear that you had a great NYE and that you and DF are back on track!
AFM, had a nice dinner with DH and Noah tonight here at home and watched a bit of TV before Noah fell asleep on my boob! lol Just put him to bed about 15mins ago so think it's night night time for me too. Hopefully he will sleep through (which is til about 4am) and I get to have a good nights sleep too. Feeling pretty exhausted today...
Enjoy the rest of your New Years Day!
Love to everyone! :heartbeat:
-
Pretz - Hope you managed to get a few things done around the home yesterday while little Noah napped. I re weighed Ben yesterday and measured with the tape measure I got from the hospital. Seems I got it wrong. Hes 7.5kg in the nude, HC still 42cm (thank goodness, I was really worried his head was getting too big), and Length is 65cm. Its so foreign to me having a big baby. Summer was petite and was only this size at 7 months. Ben is 3 months today  SNAP at talking about periods to your DH. I was driving home last night from down south (gastro is going through the family, so I packed up my stuff and got out of their ASAP!!) and I said to DH, wow I havent had my period for a year now. How great is that!!! RE the Bumbo. Sit him in it and just see how his head goes, if it flops a lot perhaps wait another couple of weeks, otherwise just do short stints in it - it will really help his neck muscles. Ben gets cranky after about 5 mins, I think his big head gets a little too heavy haha
raffy - glad to hear you had a great night out and enjoyed yourself like a 20 year old! WTG!! Boo to getting your period back, Im really not looking forward to that.
Beckels - how cute about the little earmuffs! Gorgeous. Poor little Madi with the constipation and reflux. Hope she starts feeling better soon.
AFM - Quiet one at home today. Its about 38 degrees here for the next 4 days so I dont plan on venturing out much. I am really tired so hoping to catch up on some shut eye.
-
Nikki - Thanks honey. I got a couple of things done, but Noah's naps just aren't long enough sometimes! :p He is doing heaps better now as far as being clingy although he still has his moments where he just wants to be in your arms all the time! lol Wow, Ben sure has grown! I'm curious to find out how much Noah weighs too now, but not getting him weighed again until end January when I have his 4 month (HOLY COW that sounded scary saying 4 months!! :o) checkup with the CHN. Will probably be over 7kg's too by then!! lol I think that boys are definitely bigger than girls because as I mentioned to Raffy, my goddaughter who is 8 months only weighed 700g more than Noah about 3 weeks ago, so I'm sure by now Noah has well and truly overtaken her in the weight department. Scary when you think there's 5 months difference between them. lol I'm thinking of going to buy a couple of 0 outfits for Noah soon because some of his 00's are starting to look a bit small! lol Happy 3 months to Ben today. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. Feels like just the other day we were all counting down to having our babies and still had 3 months to go - sometimes someone asks me what I have been doing the past week and I for the life of me can't remember! lol Some days/weeks are a blur! lol How is Ben sleeping now at night? Is he sleeping through yet? Noah has only just (I'm talking the past 4 nights) been starting to sleep for longer stretches (7 hours or so a night) but still wakes for at least one feed, which lately has been around 4am, but I'm happy with that. ;)
AFM, just having a quiet day at home too. Went to do some grocery shopping this morning with Noah and he was really good, but as I loaded the shopping in the car he started screaming, think he was overtired as he hadn't slept since he woke at 8:30am. When we got home I fed him and he fell asleep straight away and has been sleeping for about 25mins! Yay! Hopefully he sleeps a while longer so that I can pack away all my shopping. lol
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
Love to you all!

howdy ladies.
periods - haven't got mine back yet and it will be a year on the 8th since I last had it. sooooo nice to not worry about it :) Hard to believe a whole year ago this time in 3 weeks (the 23rd) was the night i got spastically drunk and slept with J and created my beautiful baby boy unexpectedly! Best oops I ever did..
raffy -glad you had a bit of fun for new years! I am looking forward to a drink with my friends again one day. but at the moment breast feeding is my priority. once he goes to formula it will be possible to let my hair down every once in a while. but i'm not overly keen on the whole clubbing thing any more.
my first day of 2011 wasn't great. spent the day being bored. and annoyed at my brother. he's playing up again and mum and I are wanting to kick his ass. little brat was meant to meet mum at 1230 friday/saturday night and never did. after she drove into town to get him, when she could have been in bed as she had to get up early for work. this was the first time she had given him her trust back since doing a few stupid things last year. guarantee he will be grounded at home until he turns 18 now. (and thats not until october...). why are teenage boys so awful?

Hi girls and Happy New Year!
Just taking 5 mins to stop and breathe. We are going away tomorrow and I have only folded blumin' washing since lunchtime. Still have to pack and for three kids that means half the darn house, then my stuff and prolly DH's stuff plus food etc etc etc I have been exhusted for over a week now and seriously wish I had done something about my thyroid when i was first told too when Alannah was 7 weeks old! Paying for it now. I drag myself to bed every night and then have to get up between one to three times a night for one of if not all the kids. Alannah has woken 2 nights this past week but I think coz she has kicked the bottom of her wrap out. Last night I used a sleeping bag.grobag and she slept right through but it was Bailey and Noah last night. I ended up on the lounge from 3am. I am exhausted physically and mentally, gets bouts of light headiness and feel sick atleast once a day. By those symtoms you would think I was utd hey?!
With all this I have also had anxiety with some crap that MIL is going on with. Then on top of that, the past week my milk has been incredibly low in the arvos and the whole feeding several times in a few hours thing started again which kinda got me feeling down so Alannah is now on a 3/4pm ff and then her normal ff at bedtime so about 8/8.30pm.
Well, sorry for the me post. Off to cook dinner now.

I'll be back later/tomoro to write persies coz I'm on my phone but I couldn't come on and read without giving vix a huge hug!!! Hope you start to feel better soon and you get a chance to relax on ur holiday. Thinking of you xox

ugh what a start to the year.
Yesterday I was about ready to give my baby away to someone else for a day. He fed every 1.5-2 hours. It wasn't helping my nipples that were starting to get sore. When I gave him a feed last night at 7pm my nipple was hurting (but it had been for a few days) and so I didn't realize til he detached that it was actually bleeding. :( it was gross. I could have cried. BFing is sooooooooo hard. Not to mention I was bloody exhausted. We still have a lot of trouble sleeping overnight.
I put him in the car in a clean onesie to go to the supermarket and buy a tin of S26 gold, and then head to mums. He spewed MY blood all over himself and his clean outfit. Luckily before we left the driveway and not while we were at the shops. So I had to change him again and then head off.
There was a lot of blood it was disgusting. My poor baby, how did he not screw up his face at the taste of it? and he must have swallowed a fair bit cos this morning he has had 2 blackish poops.
I'm so frustrated. I hate how breast feeding is so hard and complicated. I have formula fed him twice last night and then this morning. I am hoping that I can do it for just a day or two or three and give my nipples a break (in the meantime hand expressing and storing it in the freezer). And then go back to breast. But I don't know. If he starts sleeping better at night because of the formula I'll be tempted to stick to it.
And on top of that.
I came to mums to get a break. But she had to go into town and chase after my brother. He still hasn't contacted us since friday night, little *****. He messaged one of MY friends to tell her to tell us he'd be home sunday arvo. and then never came home.
so mum went to his friends mothers place (the feral drug using friend he was last seen with). she hasn't seen them. she doesn't have any kids at home any more (we think they are in foster care) and she doesn't know where her own 16 yo son lives.
so I came here for support and ended up getting stuck alone with V anyway.
luckily she wasn't more than an hour.
she went to the police and reported him missing. they ran the boys (his friend) name thru LEAP or whatever it is called, their criminal database, and the only person with the same surname on the system is his mother. no surprises there...
dad said a week or so ago my brother said he was going to come visit him (he lives in adelaide) and would call him from the bus stop. so we think there's a chance he's going there.
mum conveniently opened him a new bank account the other day, but because of the weekend/public holiday he can't actually access it yet because its not activated. so he is getting around wherever he is with the $30 he had in his wallet. there's only like another $50 in his account anyway. don't know what he is eating and he only has the clothes he was wearing unless someone brought him to mums to get more..
mum is super worried :( she was up most of the night.. i'm not all that worried. i say let him be a little turd and learn the hard way that life in the big wide world is not easy. he's not kidnapped or anything, just hiding or 'runaway' as they call them. he'd be with his mates most likely, smoking, drinking and doing weed (all the things mum asked him not to do).
don't know what her reaction is going to be if the cops end up bringing him home some time soon.. she has already hidden his laptop, ps2 and xbox. if it were me i'd kick him out. she's put up with his crap for 12 months now and doesn't need it. but that is exactly what he is hoping for and mum isn't stupid, she doesn't wanna give him the satisfaction.
and then J and his mum are due back any day now. sooooooooooo not looking forward to dealing with their **** as well. argh.
-
Vix - Sorry to hear about everything you're going through. I hope things improve for you soon and that you feel better soon. I hope that the break away from home will do you all some good and that you get at least some relaxation somehow. Sorry also to hear that you milk supply has been low and that Alannah has been feeding so much. Noah has been the same, feeding almost constantly some days and it's driving me insane as I don't get much done. I have started giving him a bottle of FF every now and again (sometimes around 11am and then just before my bedtime as a top up feed) too, although still mostly BF when I can. Sorry to hear that MIL is causing problems/dramas. I hope it all gets straightened out soon!
Brydz - Oh I'm so sorry to hear about everything that you're going through too and ouch for the bleeding nipples. I too agree with you that BF is hard and when you're exhausted and your bub is feeding that often it can easily make you want to quit it and start FF. Just remember that it's totally up to you whether you end up FF Vinny or give your boobs a few days to recover and then start on BF again. Either way, as long as Vinny is fed and growing well, then that's all that matters. ;) Sorry to hear about the stuff that you're going through with your brother. I too would agree with you that if he doesn't change his attitude, especially with not phoning your Mum to at least let her know he is safe then she should kick him out, that's what I would do if it were me. Good luck with J and his Mum too when they get back. Hope it all works out!
Hello to everyone else! :hello:
AFM, was so impressed as yesterday morning I went to do the grocery shopping and when I came back Noah fell asleep at 1pm and slept for 4 hours until 5pm!! :o He hasn't slept that much during the day since he was 3 weeks old! lol He did however stay up until 9:30pm though before falling back asleep and then woke at 2:30am for a feed as he had wriggled himself out of his wrap and must have been a bit cold. So I put him in bed with me and DH and fed him in bed and he soon fell asleep until 6:00am again this morning. He just went down for another nap, but I'm not better on another 4 hour sleep today (although it would be nice as I did some washing and would LOVE to get it all folded and put away today instead of 3 days from now!) lol :p
Other than that, DH and I are just having a quiet day at home relaxing.
Hope you all have a great day.
Love ya's!

Brydz - HUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGE hugs babe. im so sorry BFing is getting hard for you, when i first tried FF coops i could go a day or two without giving him boob and then there was still plenty when i gave it to him again. you can always give it a go, and the hand expressing will also keep up your supply and stop you from getting engorged :) i hope you find the solution asap coz all that blood sounds horrible, sorry babe. my brother was exactly the same at 16. i hope for your mums sake he pulls his head in and tells her where he is. hopefully by the time hes 18 hes grown up a bit huh?? im sure we all go thru 'phases' at that age, i no i did, and my parents were the enemy
Pretz - in that case i hope for your sake ur AF stays away a long while longer. im glad Noahs not as clingy anymore, i have to say the last week or so Coops has been good as well when it comes to his clingyness. he would never have floor time for longer than a couple of minutes, but the last few mornings he laids there for a good 20 mins just playing with toys and watching tv, i think the tv may have something to do with it as hes stayed there longer ever since hes discovered it, but im not complaining ;)
Nikki - WTG on Bens weight and growth, he is such a big boy, considering hes only a week or so older than Coops and already a kilo heavier. that must be some amazing milk you have there chicky, sorry to here you have to come back from douth because of gastro, that sucks big time, hope you all escaped it bug free though, is it still hot where you are?? we are about an hour east of Perth and its overcast and muggy today, this is the worst kind of hot. if the weather has to be hot then give me the crisp heat any day
AFM - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH these period pains are worse than pre labour pains and sorry TMI but its dam lucky you cant die from blood loss with AF or i think i would be in trouble. ive never had heavy periods but i have to change me pad every hour if not more often and im having like 3 showers a day  i feel disgusting, sure as hell didnt miss this sh*t!!!!!
friends of ours from Newcastle that also have family in Perth (ive talked bout them before) they found out last night that the pipe in their upstairs toilet in Newcastle has burst and flooded their house!! its wet all their room and all upstairs, its warped the door under the stairs, the paint is peeling down the stairs and water was coming thru the fire alarm and light sockets. LUCKILY it missed their very nice lounges and huge tv and also a friend of our who has recently split with his GF was storing his stuff there and he has a 52" 3D tv, ps3, xbox, blu ray and dvd player but thankfully that all got avoided. they r still in Perth for another 2 weeks (that would make me crazy if i was in their situation) but they are gonna talk to DHA (defence housing australia) tomoro, id say the defence force will just give them a new house coz by the sounds of it this one wont be livable. i told them we get back to Newy on Saturday (:crying:) and we'll be there to help if they need us. what a great start to the new year huh?? i said considering the damage they were extremely lucky as the only thing they lost was some shoes in there walk in robe.
anyhooooooo, im gonna go hang with DF while Coops is asleep and then we are off to stay at my parents house tonight, then tomro my mum is babysitting for the night and DF and i are spending a romantic day in fremantle and then staying at the casino for the night :)
love to all xx
ETA - -Pretz - we posted at the same time. wowzers Noah on such an awesome nap. i have my fingers and toes crossed he does the same today so you get ur washing done. enjoy ur day with DH
-
Raffy - if you are needing to change your pad more than every hour, maybe you should go get checked out?
-
Raffy - I would agree with Clover - if you're having to change your pad every hour, then I would get it checked out by a GP. I always got heavy painful periods (damn endo and cysts :crying:) and having have been through labour now and knowing what labour pains feel, I can say that my period pains felt very, very similar to those I felt during my labour, hence why I REALLY am not looking forward to getting my period back and having that type of pain being curled up in pain with my heatpack for the first day or two again! I have heard from some of my friends that have had babies that sometimes your period can be more painful than before after having a baby, so perhaps it's normal... but whether or not that's the case, I hope that the pain eases for you soon and that bleeding slows down too. Huge big   's to you.
Hi Clover! Hope things are going well on your end! ;)
AFM, just got my little man to sleep, so might head off to bed myself, am feeling extremely tired as I ended up doing heaps today while DH helped out with Noah. :crossfingers: that Noah sleeps through tonight so I can get some decent sleep too.
Hope you all have a great night!
Love to you all! :heartbeat:
-
thanks Clover - its back to normal now, changed it every 3/4 hours for hygiene reasons obviously. and the pains are still there but not as intense, thank god.
Pretz - i seriously hope the pains arent any worse for you when AF arrives back. my labour was only 2 hours and that was enough hahaha so i cant imagine going through that for a week. as i said to Clover the pains have settled down in intensity. still more blood than there was before Coops but no where near as much as there was yesterday. Hope Noah is good for you and lets you have a nice long sleep tonight. and what a gem your DH is for helping. dont no what i would do without DF, not looking forward to him going back to work next monday though im sure we'll manage :)
AFM - DF and i were messing around and i hit him in the face with a pillow so he slapped me on my bare thigh, i now have a perfect handprint shaped welt there. OUCH. its sore to sit on. little bugger.
have a good night my loverlies xx
-
howdy all.
today has been improved.
i am back at my house, just took down my xmas tree. jims mowing came and did some more weed killing/cleaning up/hedge trimming for me :) and YAYYYYYYYYY my hug a bub arrived in the mail :)
my brother -he text mum from a free text site last night and asked to be picked up at my place in 30 minutes. I came to get him and he was sunburnt badly, hungover and feeling sorry for himself. I told him to get over it. He did just what I thought and spent 3 whole days drinking and doing god knows what else with his mates. Did I mention the bruises and black eye? mum reckons he got beaten up, but he told me him and his mates were boxing. which wouldn't surprise me they are idiots. He seemed pleased with himself for getting drunk to the point of spewing in kfc, and not being able to walk at one stage. He kept looking for sympathy. Little bastard. I told him I was disappointed and that I wouldn't lecture him because that is mums job. But I suggested he might start off well by apologizing.
He got home and CONTINUED searching for sympathy and proceeded to rave on about the things he drank etc. Mum was just plain ignoring him but I can tell it wasn't doing him any more favours to be bragging..
He is annoyed at her for taking away his xbox, laptop etc. But I told him it was his own fault and to get over it. He knows he will be banned from going anywhere til he turns 18 now. But apparently he had an awesome new years and it was worth it.
He just doesn't seem to care how he upset mum. I'm still so mad at him :(
feeds bottle fed Vinny for most of yesterday and then as of the evening back onto the boob. my nipples welcomed a break but I don't know how long they will be okay for. He feeds often. He had the boob before bed and slept 5 hours (9-2) and I was a bit annoyed that he still isn't sleeping longer. so I gave him formula at 2 but he was up wanting to be fed again at 5am :( and then 730. (after gooing and babbling for 2 hours driving me mad!). I've come to the conclusion that he is just a little piggy and needs to feed all the damn time. He's still growing like a mushroom so its not as though my milk isn't good enough...
sorry no personals. i'm running out of time before he wakes from his nap and still have to get the dishes done.
and my internet is going slow today :( might get back on for some more later.
-
Brydz, it all sounds normal hun. I know how hard it is.
DS fed every 2 hours til he was 8 months old. I expect Summer to do the same.
It will pass
Things are good here. Summer has started waking for more feeds through the night again, which is absolutely exhausting me, but I think I'm run down from christmas still. We went to a friends house NYE & didn't get to bed til 2am. Thats when miss started waking & when this exhaustion kicked in.
Hoping it buggers off soon. I've been way more productive on way less sleep before!
-
Raffy - Glad to hear that AF has eased up a little for you in intensity. Hopefully she doesn't hang around for too long for ya! ;) Hope you are enjoying your time at the Hotel.
Clover - Hope you are able to somehow catch up on some rest and that your exhaustion goes away soon too. Must be the week for our babies to feed more often and wake up more often through the night. I have been having the same problem with Noah feeding constantly through the day and waking more often through the night.
Brydz - Glad to hear that your brother finally txt your Mum and showed up. My brothers were both giving my poor Mum a hard time too, they actually still are and are 26 and 21! I just pray that our boys don't give us such a bad time when they get to their teens! I'm going to ground Noah until he is 18 too if he acts up! lol :p Clover is right, don't get too discouraged that Vinny isn't sleeping through yet. He will sort himself out eventually honey. If it makes you feel better and helps to know - Noah is still not sleeping through either and he is already 3 months old. He has had a few night sleeping longer stretches, but the past 2 days and nights has been hellish as he hasn't been sleeping through the day at all (30 mins at the most ALL DAY) and then going to sleep around 8:30-9:00pm and then waking at 2:00am, then again at 4:00am and then he would be awake. He has also been feeding every 1.5-2 hours throughout the day which can make you crazy but I'm guessing it's either a growth spurt or the heat and thats why he is unsettled. Just hang in there, you're doing a wonderful job and like you said yourself, he is growing well, and that's the main thing!
Hello to everyone else!
AFM, nothing much to report on my end, except that I'm EXHAUSTED today. Have probably only slept about 8 hours the past 2 days and it's catching up with me. Have a throbbing headache and just feel like crying... sleep deprivation SUCKS! :crying:
Well then, might head off to bed for a bit if I can seeing as Noah is sleeping now....
Love to you all!
xoxox
-
thanks Pretz.
its nice to have some reassurance rather than have people just saying 'stop complaining'. It is a very tiring job and I think a lot of people in my life forget that I do it all by myself and don't have anyone to give me a break. I stay at mums and I could probably get her to help but she has to get up every morning and go to work so I'm sure she doesn't wanna be up to the baby.
I've come to the conclusion its just how he is and hopefully it will improve soon but who knows when.
he is very active and this might explain why he eats so damn often LOL.
got my professional photos today :) they are beautiful. can't wait to get some frames and hang them in my house! not that anyone ever visits me that would see them..
-
just a quick one...
Brydz - You are doing an AMAZING job as Vinnie's mumma  Being a single parent is a monumental task. I did it for nearly 10 years with my older 2 kids, it was the hardest thing I have ever done. Of course in saying that, I don't regret my choices one bit...my kids were better off with just me.
Anyways, just wanted you to know that I know where your coming from, and how tough it is. Sometimes the people in your life may need a gentle reminder that parenting a lil bubba is crazy hard work for 2 people, so doing it alone is freakin awesome!!!
Hi to everyone else & your cutey bubbas :hello:
Bec xo
-
Brydz - :yeahthat: since ive been in Perth ive had Coops to myself over night like 3 or 4 times and i tell you what i have a new found respect for single mummys. just over night is extremely tiring and i dont no how you do it all the time, but you do. Vinny is the luckiest little man alive to have you as his mum. dont let it get you down you are doing and absolutely fantastic job and from what i see on fb Vinny is a thriving little dude, not to mention extremely cute.
Breckles - same goes to you, and from what i see from your signature u had ur first at 16 so you should be extremely proud as well.
xx
-
Hi all,
Have not caught up but will try to over the next few days.
Pretz- In response to your FB comment on my photos, Ty is 65cm long and 7kg. He is nearly as tall as my 10 month old niece!!
Hope everyone had a lovely chrissy & NY xx
-
Morning Mummies!
Brydz - You're welcome anytime honey! We're all here for you!! I too think that the boys being active makes them eat more! lol Noah never seems to stop for long and with his little short naps during the day makes me believe he just recharges himself! lol :p Well done on getting your professional photos. It's very exciting to put them in frames and hang them if and it doesn't matter if people don't see them, you'll get to see them...if I lived closer, I would come visit you often!
Beckles - :hello:
Raffy - Hope you're having a great time over in Perth. When are you going back home? I hope it's not for a while yet! ;)
Sparkles - Wow, Ty seems to be growing well too. Noah is only 63cm now and I got him weighed yesterday and he was 6.7kg, so he is growing heaps too! Can't believe how fast all our bubba's have grown.
Hello to everyone else! :D
AFM, had a much better night last night and only woke for Noah once around 3am and then again at 6am. I hear him fussing so better go!
Hope you all have a lovely day!
Me xoxo
ETA - Got a txt from Vix yesterday and she asked me to say hello to everyone! ;)
-
pretz -yeah maybe they just like to eat all their lives! lol I know most grown males eat all the time.. maybe it just starts as a baby on milk.. I only got 6 photos in my package and I was going to photocopy one for my nan but I've decided to just give her one of the smaller ones. I will still have 5. I don't want ALL my walls taken up with one lot of photos.. I'm going to get more pro ones done when he is like 6 months or so and can sit up.. my night last night was better too. we were 4 and 7 :)
raffy - thanks sweetie. Yeah overnight is hard work especially the nights that they wake extra times even though you know they are capable of sleeping longer. it really *****s me when people I know (on my facebook) basically tell me not to complain. I get up to vinny EVERY time EVERY night and don't get a break. They often have partners who can get up and give them a break and stuff so I don't know what they need to whinge at me for. The only one I'll give credit to is a girl who told me not to complain, her daughter was up every hour (AND SHES 2 and A HALF!!) -because she is also a single mummy, and she has TWO children on her own. thats amazing I think she does a great job.
beckels -thanks also :) its nice to know there are people around that can recognize the hard work I put into being mum. not that I ever wouldn't, its just part and parcel of it all and I love my little man to bits :)
not doing anything today. just put V back to bed. mum has gone to do her shopping and things and I'm hanging out with her washing in the dryer and I was gunna go to my place but I suggested she mind V when she gets back and I'll go and do my shopping and errands and things. Its quite warm here today and I don't wanna drag him with me in and out of the car and might as well take advantage of her day off.
LMAO my cat is playing around like a spaz with a ****roach. Poor thing is being shunted around across the floor HAHA. she is a silly kitty.
-
Brydz - I'm going to get some professional photos done of all of us, me, DH and Noah as a family when he is about 6 months too and he is able to properly sit up etc. Hope you got your shopping and errands done the other day. I am supposed to go do my food shopping too, but just don't feel like it today and DH is working so if I went I would have to take Noah with me and it's raining so that's a pain, so might leave it for tomorrow. ;)
Raffy - Hope you had a safe flight and trip back home. I'm sending you huge hugs  as I know how hard it is to leave your family behind and how hard the first few days without them is after spending time with them. Hopefully it won't be long until you see them again!
Hello to everyone else, hope you're all doing well! :D
AFM, Noah has been much better since yesterday although he has been waking 2 times through the night so I have been struggling with lack of sleep and being tired. Although after DH left for work this morning at 6am, I put Noah in bed with me and we both slept until nearly 10am!! Yay!!! I think it helps that it's cooler too as Noah had 3 naps yesterday and his afternoon nap was for 2 and 1/2 hours. I can't wait to move upstairs in 2 weeks - FINALLY! We are getting our floors sanded and polished from Monday for the week and then once it's done, we're going to give it a week or so before moving the big stuff upstairs. Will probably just move little things, clothes etc up there. So excited! ;)
Well then, Noah is in his swing watching TV....and I'm starving so might grab some lunch while he is calm and happy! lol
Love to you all - have a great weekend! :heartbeat:
-
thanks for the hugs Pretz, i need all the ones i can get. yay on finally being able to move upstairs. im sure it will all look amazing and will be well worth the wait :)
sooo yup im home again. left perth at 11pm last night and arrived in newcastle at 10.45am today, needless to say im exhausted. Coops slept pretty much the whole time and only cried when we were landing coz his ears must have been popping, other than that he was an absolute champion and he even slept for a couple of hours after we got home aswell so gave us a chance to nap to. however im glad i dont have to fly again for a while, it freaks me out to much travelling with a baby. cooper hasnt even bee put out of whack with the time difference either, dead on 5pm he was grizzling for a bath, then had a feed and went to sleep. DF nd i are pooped and cant be bothered cooking so we are going to hogs breath for dinner (its where i used to work and makes it easy to catch up with friends lol) so no doubt Coops will wake up when we put him in the car but hopefully he goes back to sleep.
was a little bit flattered when i got home my cats were all over me and havent left my side since, i think they missed me. i sure missed them
sorry for lack of persies. seen as im home now no doubt ill be on here everyday again :)
xx
