pretz - oh that really sucks about the AF hun. I hadn't heard that it was normal for the first one to be horrible like that. I hope it isn't like that again. You poor thing.
My first one was painless, the second I had cramps and latest one I had no pain again. It has been great, considering I used to get bad cramps all the time and also migraines.

    Morning ladies!

Sparkles - WTG on Ty's great stats! Wow, all these bubba boys are nice and big! Sorry to hear he is still chucking as much. I hope that the Dr you're seeing this week can give you some info or recommend something to help him. Good luck with your move this week and how exciting that you're going to be TTCing soon!!

Raffy - Noah is doing well thank you for asking. Thought he was getting sick on the weekend but he seems to be ok. His nose does seem a bit blocked when he wakes in the mornings, but doesn't seem to bother him too much thankfully. Me on the other hand are coming down with a cold/flu so not feeling very well at the moment... Sorry to hear about the BFN, but perhaps it's just too early for it to be picked up. Hope you have a great time shopping in newcastle today and have a blast on the weekend celebrating DF's birthday!

Nikki - Hope you're feeling a bit better and that Ben has been sleeping somewhat better for you the last few nights! Thinking of ya honey!

Vix - Thinking of you as always! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Brydz - How are you and Vinny feeling now? Hope you're both getting better!

AFM - Noah had his morning feed at 4:30am and I went back to bed after he fell back asleep, but I couldn't get back to sleep. Feeling a bit crappy too as I think I'm coming down with a cold. Have had the sorest throat since yesterday morning and getting the sniffles too now... Hopefully I can get rid of it before it actually starts! Popped in to the clinic yesterday for a quick review of Noah with the CHN that helped me heaps with settling techniques for Noah and while I was there got Noah weighed and he now weighs 8.44kg and is 72cm! Just going to have a quiet day at home today, tomorrow DH, Noah and I are going to have a look at some showerscreens so we can get the upstairs bathroom finished for once and all too - just need showerscreens, a mirror for the vanity and tiles, then the tiler can come in and tile the bathroom and kitchen and everything is done! Woot woot!!!

    Have a wonderful day!

    Love to you all!

    xoxo

hi girls. sorry ive been offline for a while. just had a lazy tired kind of week.

V didn't get admitted to hospital, just sent home after an hour or two of observation.

It has been about 10 days since he first got ill and now he is starting to get a lot better. For a while I was worried (the day he was at the DRs) because he was not eating/drinking well at all. But he is taking full bottles again now and quite chirpy. Still a bit coughy/wheezy but overall a huge improvement.

I myself am nearly back to normal, sore throat has finally left me and I just have a cough and slightly runny nose to fight off now.

today V went to my GP. He has had the lump in his butt for like 3 weeks, and 2 separate doctors had told me they had 'no idea' what it was. Anyway this morning it was soooooooooooo red and sore looking I decided enough is enough and then it sort of started oozing which is when I confirmed it was an abscess.

At the GP he had to get it drained, which meant me holding him down and holding his legs while the dr jabbed a thing that looks like a razor blade straight into the centre of it to pop it (and all y'all thought bubs needles was bad). Poor lil man screamed so bad and I felt awful for him, but I'm a toughy and certainly not the crying kind or the passing out kind (honestly it was pretty vomit worthy for anyone who doesnt have my iron stomach). I bet some of you guys are feeling sick right now.. oops!

Anyway, it went down a tonne and now he just has to have antibiotics for a while and a follow up to check the wound next week. He also gets his needles that day. Lucky boy. lol.

his dadHe also went to his dads today. The first time I left him there and came home (so was a full hour away from him). I soooooooooo enjoyed the break after a long week/two with sick clingy whingy bubba when feeling like **** myself..

I had the most wonderful relaxing bath (my first since pre-parenthood). It was nice to be able to stay in there and know GUARANTEED that he wasn't going to distract me!!

workI get my last baby bonus payment next fortnight. Which means money will be tight the week after unless I basically get a job immediately.
Fingers crossed I get one. I ran into an old work colleague yesterday who enquired if I was going to come back there (my 2nd last place of employment) and I said I would like to and she said great ill tell the boss.. they are apparently short staffed..

I have to drive all the way to Geelong tomorrow just for my CPR update. Once that is done the resumes will be finalized and printed and I'll get my butt into gear.

anyhoo. i'll come back tomorrow for personals.

Just a quick one, I had to tell my fav gals....

    I GOT A

The line is faint, but a line none the less. I bought a pack of 3 so I will do the other 2 tests this week and see if the line gets darker. We are celebrating DFs 21st tonight so I think I just gave him the best early birthday present ever

    Hi girls.

Happy & Safe Easter to all of you, your families and esp your babies!!!!

I have been reading but just not had time to post or really not feeling positive about things. Most days are pretty much a struggle but I will get there.

Alannah is 7 months old now...well the other day anyway. She has, as you prolly read on FB, all 8 teeth now. No more gummy smiles. I spoke to the CHN the other day and she is now on 3 meals per day. She has her farex in the morning with pureed fruit and milk mixed though. She only eats about half a cup but that is fine. She knows when she is full. After her sleep (after lunch) she has baby custard or Hienz yoghurt. (going shopping tonight and will by some normal, fresh yoghurt as recommended by the CHN) At dinner time, she has some vegies. With Noah I just gave him whatever vegies and never waited days in between like they say too and to this day - he has the best appetite. I was planning on doing that with Alannah but she is a much smaller eater, more girly! So I will just do one food for a few days. The other night she had sweet potato and gagged on it! Last night she had plain mash poatato with her milk mixed through and she loved it! So, mash potato it is for a week or less...maybe!

No crawling, nothing like young Master Ben from what I read!!! We put up our gates though to train the older ones!! "No big boy toys near Alannah" is the new rule.

Well, she is weaned too. Tuesday just gone was our last breastfeed. Am pretty shattered by it as I will never breastfeed ever again. I feel like everytime we move onto another stage, grow out of more clothes etc, a piece of my heart is ripped out. I know we were not planning on more kids but I have no choice now which I still find hard to deal with.

Blah! Can feel the negative thoughts coming through now so I will finish up.

I hope you are all well.

    Thanks girls.
