Aww Vix I am so jealous of the roast lamb and vegies (SALIVATING here!). Sounds delicious. Great news Alannah is enjoying her solids more. I'm like that too now with Ben - dont care what he eats, just as long as its something - with Summer I was always following the "rules". Oh how cute that the little missy is clapping!! Im trying in vain to get Ben to do anything other than crawl and grunt LOL
Brydz - Glad to hear you enjoyed your first mothers day. Hope you had a nice time visiting your mum and nan.
Raffy - I have my fingers crossed that your blind date goes well tmr, that should be most exciting and great if you get a friend out of it to hang out with. I really dont miss all the MS and what not, I had a virus last week and it was pure hell looking after 2 kids and managing it. I would be utterly devasted if I got pregnant anytime in the next 18 months!!!! LOL
Pretz - the present you got sounds absolutely gorgeous!!! I would have got a tear in my eye too! SNAP at Noah having a really cranky arvo. Ben was absolutely TERRIBLE tonight until about 6, then he was ok for an hour and then crashed in bed without milk or solids. Weird. Still only the 1 tooth but man am I feeling his pain - he was up 4 times between 9.30 and 12.30 last night, and then fed again at 4.30 :wall: I seriously am over getting up to him so many times a night. He is 7 months now, eating about 5 solid meals a day, he can't possibly be hungry!!!!!! Hugs for Noah being weaned. Its sad when it happens. I'm not looking forward to it, but in a way it will be nice to have my boobs back to myself and safely in my shirt all day  I didnt get a mothers day present, I didnt want one LOL. I end up just choosing what I want and then DH goes and buys its. No fun in that. DH just said I can got buy myself a new winter wardrobe. OK!!!!
AFM - I just cooked dinner for 15 of DH's family members with a screaming baby at my feet the whole time. Man, did I feel like a neglectful mummy. So sick of having to do it ... its just too hard. Main meal, sides, drinks and dessert. Times 15!!! And to top off my stressful day DHs work car packed it in, needs a new engine for $4500 or just buy a new car .... Sigh, if only money really did grow on effing trees.
T.I.R.E.D..... Y.A.W.N..... Utterly exhasted. I am so rundown atm its not funny. Ben is really the best behaved baby but his lack of being able to go more than 4 hours during the night without a feed is killing me. Ive tried a bottle of formula before bedtime but he HATES it. Hates bottles full stop. Ugh.
Got my girlfriends and their bubs coming over tmr morning. Cant wait. Can whinge to someone else for a change hahaha
-
Raffy - Glad that you are able to ease your MS and the waves of nausea. I LOVED being pregnant and I could deal with the leg cramps, big belly, peeing all the time, sore back and lack of sleep in the end due to the big belly, but one thing I HATED and am not looking forward to again is the MS!! Glad that you got some nice mother's day pressies too and how cute about the cup that says "love you mummy". Fingers crossed your "blind date" goes well and that you make a new friend. Thanks yes, my friend isn't doing so well with her split from her partner, and she doesn't have any family (she never had kids, couldn't have them, was in a car accident when she was 17 with her parents and broke her pelvis and her uterus and insides were all so badly damaged poor thing). I'm trying to be there for her and cheer her up but it's a bit hard as I don't really know what to say except just be there if she wants to talk.
Nikki - Snap that Ben was in a terrible mood last night too. Not sure why these boys get like that. It frustrates the heck out of me as I don't know what to do with him after a while, he won't eat, won't sleep, not happy to play, don't want to be held but when you put him down he screams....drives you insane at that moment! He slept from 6:45pm til 5:30am this morning though and on his first nap for the day now! Just hope today is better though as DH worked last night and is sleeping at the moment too. lol Boys!! I'm sorry to hear that Benny is still waking so often through the night. I was going to say you should perhaps try him on a bottle of FF before bed, but since you have and he hates the bottle, I'm not sure what else to suggest. What time do you put him to sleep of a night? I'm sure you are strict with his bedtime routine, but I found that ever since I started being strict with Noah's and stuck with it like clock-work it made a HUGE, HUGE, difference with his sleep and that is when he started sleeping through without waking. I also tried to stretch him too late at night I think and did it earlier and earlier again and he now goes to bed anywhere between 6:15pm and 6:30pm and he sleeps well, so not sure if that is why...? Huge, huge 's to you honey! I can only imagine how hard and exhausting it must be, especially having 2 babies to look after during the day and not getting any rest. I feel drained and exhausted after just looking after 1 baby all day! Yes, I was sad about the BF coming to an end, but it's great to have my boobs back to myself and to be able to wear normal bra's again (although it felt a bit odd at first) Oh that sucks that you had to cook for 15 people!! I honestly couldn't do it! I struggle to cook for 2 (me and DH) most days!! Enjoy your whinge lol and visit with your girlfriends and their babies coming over today. I have my Mummies group tomorrow as well and can't wait, sooooooo lovely to chat with them and to be able to realise you're sooooooo not the only one going through everything! lol
AFM, nothing new on my end. Just having a bit of time to myself on the PC while Noah is napping and DH is still sleeping after his night shift.
Hope you all have a lovely day!
Me xoxox
PS: For those of you girls (Vix and Nikki) that were with me in the Pre-TTC thread - do you girls remember Dragonbub? Well, she had her bubba boy last Friday! How exciting!!
-
Okay, here I go trying to do persies! Missy is being a Minx this arvo and Bailey is flat out talking my ear off.
Nikki - I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling with still night bf. I have been having broken sleep for a few months now with Noah needing to go to the toilet once or twice a night ("Mum, I'm busting!") and Alannah being sickish the past 2 or even 3 weeks - crying out in her sleep, can't breath, lost her plug...*yawn*! Not to mention with this pnd I now find myself going to bed well after 11pm most nights and then up between 6am and 7am most mornings....but bf at night is the pits I say! I used to rub my eyes so much trying to stay awake in front of the telly those first few weeks with Alannah. I hope Ben sorts himself out soon. What about just offering him water for one of the feeds and refuse to feed him boob? Actually, I have no idea! :dunno: Have you spoken with your CHN?
Brydz - Yes it is sad she has suffered a loss but far out! I think she is just jealous and is lashing out. Jealous - not like envious but I guess in a hurt way. I remember after I had my mc @ 11weeks I was a ***** and would be rude to anyone pregnant but it was my way of protecting my feelings, of being the child within if that makes sense.
Are you enjoying being back with adults again in the workplace?
I think you have the right to say no to J and co if they still smoke around him. They are putting Vinnies health at risk and increasing the chance of SIDS. I know I don't need to tell you that though. :protest:
Raffy - MS sucks! In a nutshell! lol :lol:Yesterday I came across my packet of Stemetil from my ms with Alannah. As long as you still have all the symptoms then everything is still cruising along just fine and dandy. Do you look at Cooper and try to imagine him as a big brother?
Pretz - Re: weaning Noah. It is hard isn't it. It truely is very emotional and only the other day I almost considered expressing again to try and get my milk going again to see if Alannah would bf again. I was carrying her on her back and she turned her head, mouth wide open and tried to latch on through my shirt. I told her she had had her chance and blew it! :);)
Argh! The Impossible Princess has returned! :duh: GTG

Hi Guys.
Just wanted to pop in and quickly say to Nikki, William was exactly the same with the night waking. He was doing 3 hourly till a week ago and nothing i tried managed to keep him sleeping longer. We even tried cc and that was an epic fail. He just screamed for nearly 2 hours which was just ridiculous. I started giving him a formula bottle for the second arvo feed as he too flat out refused a bottle before bed (or overnight for that matter). I did it mainly for me as being at his beck and call every three hours was starting to get to me so i needed to just get that little bit of space. We also stopped wrapping him and slept him on his tummy and low and behold the night we did that he slept till 5am, 7 till 7 the night after and since then he has been having a feed at 4 or 5 am and then going back to sleep. He is still waking up overnight but until that 4/5am mark i can usually stick his dummy back in and he is fine. The night before this massive turn around i went out for dinner and dh gave him a bottle for his 1030 wake up and he was none too impressed and screamed for an hour and a half before realising that the boobs were out and he had to just go back to sleep lol. Not sure if any of this will help you but it might just pay to do something really different and see if that helps. I feel for you, i was going insane and the only way i was getting through it was co sleeping which was driving me bonkers as William is humungous and takes up alot of room so i wasnt sleeping too well although some sleep was better than no sleep.
Hi everyone else, iv been stalking this thread but with 2 munchkins now i never actually have time to sit down and post anything.
-
Pretz - wow your friend has been through quite a lot, my heart goes out to her, shes lucky to have a friend like you
Nikki - sorry to hear you were sick last week, you really are a trooper what with bens constant feeding and tending to a toddlers needs as well and add being sick on top of all that, just inspirational  no matter what you may think sometimes you sure are doing one he'll of a job
Vix - I find it impossible to see Cooper as big let alone someones brother, just quietly I'm absolutely *****ing myself about having two babies, and I'm not just saying that, they both will be babies!! I have days where I think I've made a huge mistake and wouldn't be upset if I lost this bub, then I just wanna smack myself and consider myself a selfish b!tch as there are squillions of gorgeous, deserving couples that can't have babies and here I am thinking I don't want mine :shakehead:
:hello: beatitude, thanks for popping in, nice to no your still around xx
AFM - went on my 'blind date' today, S is lovely and her little man is gorgeous, will def be catching up again, I left df saying I'd be like an hour tops, 2 hours later I found him in kmart quite bored  we just chatted heaps and lost track of time, so we will def catch up again
Oh I also have a theory, with coops I craved smiths original thin cut chips, now with pickle I'm craving smiths salt and vinegar thin cut chips, huh huh original is blue s&v is pink hmmm

It is official - Alannahs non eating and lack of formula intake is ALL MY FAULT! I have been so stressed esp when it comes to meals / ff that she basically can't eat or drink due to her stress. I have completely failed her now. The CHN said I need to take a step back and just let her be....I wish she could see what my days are like to know that every day I try to start a-fresh, that most days I can feel the spark of life trying to ignite but it takes a small puff of wind to blow it out. Like today. Yesterday I felt awesome and today - puff - out goes the light.
DH is home late tonight....so I have no time to stop and breath today. Hate these kind of days.
How darn Cccccccold is it???!!!! *shivers*
xxxxx
-
Vix - :comfort: IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT :comfort: hope your light is reignited tomorrow and there is no wind in sight, and yes, it's dam freezing, love love loving my flannelette sheets, how is your toasty fire going, I so miss our lovely warm fire at my parents house
-
Thank hun. I gave her toast with Heinz Pumpkin and CousCous spread on it. She ate most of it and we made it over 500ml of milk today. THAT small detail, I am thankful for. I am just exhausted from everything. I want meds dammit!!!!
I had to really crank the fire late this arvo as the wind is so bone chilling!
-
Yummo, that sounds yummy :) glad she ate it and wow on having 500ml of milk, that's more than Cooper has, he is enjoying his solids but now prefers them over milk  have you talk to a doctor regarding the meds? I had to be weaned off them due to being UTD, there has been a huge difference, I hate myself for getting angry and frustrated with Cooper over things like him rolling while I'm trying to change him whereas before that would have been funny, I just wanna be the calm fun mummy that I was when I was on the meds but without the meds lol dam :shakehead:
Does anyone remember EJM from our bellybuddies group? She wasn't around very much but she has just joined my current bb group so shes UTD again lol her little man Toby was born at home on the 13.10.2010 :)
AFM - my throat is KILLING me!!!!!! And I don't have a cent to my name until tomro so I can't buy lozenges, I am sipping water and downing honey and tea and they all help for about 5 mins but nothing that sticks, come on tomorrow I need butter menthols!!
-
Vix - HUGE 's to you honey! I agree a 1000000000000000000000% with Raffy that IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT that Alannah isn't eating. Don't let anyone tell you that!! I too am having days where it is soooooooo frustrating to feed Noah as he just isn't interested or just too distracted by everything around him. I'm sorry that you had a bad day yesterday. I too hope that bloody wind stays away from your fire and that you have a good day today! Thanks for the hugs re: Noah being weaned! It is hard and emotional for sure. Noah has also turned his head with his mouth open towards my boob a few times now when I've carried him in my arms, but I also thought you had your chance and wasn't interested and after getting bitten 3 times I thought that was it!! lol Wow and you're right, it's FREEZING, although I'm not complaining - call me nuts or crazy but I LOVE this cold over the heat of summer ANYDAY! lol :p
Beautitude - Heya, glad to see you popping in, although I'm sorry to hear that you're still having some bad nights with William too. I really hope that he will start to sleep better for you soon honey. I can only imagine how hard it must be as Noah was sleeping pretty crappy until about 5 & 1/2 months, but thankfully it's been much better since or I am sure I would have gone stir crazy!
Nikki - Hope that Ben has miraculously started sleeping better and through the night for you the last couple of days or that he soon WILL! I am thinking of you honey and can just imagine how hard it must be having to get up to him that much still and having him and Summer to look after all day.
Raffy - So glad to hear that your "blind date" went well the other day and that you had a great time. LOL at poor DF waiting around Kmart for you for awhile whilst you were happily chatting away with your new friend! ;) hehehe Interesting about your craving of s&v chips....and that the packet is pink.....mmmmm.....perhaps you're going to have a pink bundle (which is my guess) lol Yes, I remember EJM from our belly buddies group! How exciting that she's UTD again too! Hope your throat gets better soon!
Hello to everyone else!
AFM, I'm freezing my little butt off here at the PC at the moment, but planning to go upstairs again soon! lol Just like Vix, we're lucky to have a fireplace (combustion heater) in our living room too which means nice, warm, free heat! Got it going for the first time last night and again this morning and it's so nice and warm! Noah was up at 5:10am this morning but just went down for his first nap, so hopefully he will sleep a bit while I get a few things done and have some brekky.
Hope you all have a lovely day!
Me xoxo
-
Pretz - Haha Ty was up then to, just went down for one of his power naps but just gurgling on the monitor now, 30 minute wonder, if that!! :) BBL
-
Ok, i'm back, the little man is in bed although been in there for half an hour and is having a party not going to sleep, i just went in there and he has his feet up the side of the cot, talking & laughing to his bob the builder stickers, he'll wear himself out soon as he was tired & grumpy when he was up!!
Vix - honey, big hugs, it is not your fault, can you talk to the dr about meds? xx
Raffy - Hope you are feeling alright x
Beatitude - good o hear from you.
Pretz - Hi xx
HI to everyone else.
AFM - Ty was a bit unsettled last week and was a menace for about 4-5 nights in a row, staying awake for up to 2.5 hours at a time, back to his normal self now so that is good! I think his top teeth were moving around as you can see them right there, dont think they will be far away! Apart from that all good here, just crusing along and watching him develop an adorable little personality. No crawling here, he has a radius of about 3-4 m, he does circle work and gets around but is also getting frustrated!! He also seems to have ecsema (bad spelling but havinf a mental blank!) which has really flard up so went to the chemist today to get some cream etc, it doesn't seem to bother him much but it is starting to get really red & inflamed! Other than that, no real news to report, cant believe my baby is already 7.5 months old, just love him to bits xx
Talk to you all soon.
More: My son gets the worst day sleeper in the world award, after his 1/2 hour of partyig his has had his 20min nap and is awake again!!! Yesterday he had 2 naps which totalled 50 miutes for the whole day!! Hopeless :)
-
Okay - much better day today!
Sparkles - that would drive me crazy with such little sleeps during the day. Monkey! Alannah is not crawling either but I have seen her trying to work her legs out to get up on her knees though. She is more of a roller though, rolls near and far! Try MooGoo for the eczema - just google it or check out my groups / pages on my FB page. Alananhs cheeks have started getting a bit red from the dry air in the house yet mine has completely gone!
Pretz - You phoned and I missed it. Not sure where I was though....DH said he phoned me too and all I got was a missed call message and no record of a missed call???? Things are crazy here this week with Alannahs Baptism on Sunday and guest numbers are dropping like flys! My SIL / Brother did not receive their invite (they live in SA) and so cannot even try to come but had they known about it, I am guessing they would have tried. :( Add to that, Noah has gastro yesterday and I have tummy pains today. Praying like mad no one else gets it. Eeekkkk!!!!! What formula did you end up sticking with for Noah?
Raffy - I thought you might have to go off your meds. Not sure if I asked you that before??? Alananh got her first (gentle) wack on her leg this arvo for trying to roll over when I was mid DIRTY nappy change! She didn't cry but glared at me. If looks could kill! lol Did you have to wean off them or just go cold turkey? And yes, I do remember EJM..very cool news!!! :)
AFM - Thank you girls for your words of support and kind. Today started out a bit crappy (was up 6 times with NJ last night and then I got a bit of his gastro) but I kept concentrating on keeping the light lit. I had a wee think about what the CHN said to me yesterday and it makes sense today. I had been flat out trying to control her eating and drinking. Today, I decided to not control how much she was eating but how long she could sit in her chair. She drank her usual amount for her morning bottle and then only had 3 mouthfuls I think of her farex. After about 5 minutes, I told her breakfast was over and put her down for playtime.
At lunch, she had 140mls of her milk (Yayyyyyyyy) and then I just put some pasta and mashed peas on her tray with a spoon (covered in yoghurt! Yick!) and let her go for it. I tried a few times to feed her but she ended up taking my spoon off me and put it in her own mouth! I was stoked to say the very least. She did it a few more times as well as a little nibble of her pasta. She also had a few nibbles of fresh slices of pear afterwards.
She has just gone down for her arvo nap so will be back up at about 4.30pm.
I think she is down to two sleeps for sure now. Staying up heaps longer in the morning and going down around 10 - 10.30am for atleast two hours if not more. Pushes lunch back a bit but thats life.
Don't want meds today! lol
Well, we are having spag bolognaise tonight - gunna be messy sitting next to Missy! lmao
Did I every tell you that YOU GIRLS ROCK!!!!! Thank you!:grouphug::thumbsup:
Yesterday I also joined the 16th - 30th Sept group just to have a)more girls to chat with and b) coz Missy is the 19th Sept. But, you are always my priority! mwah xxxxx
Oh and also....I have an appointment with Jenny Craig on Monday! :o
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
-
Yes, as predicted, she is a messy Spag Bog eater! lol The dog enjoyed cleaning up afterwards! I think I said she drank over 500mls yesterday. Should have read over 400mls! Woopsie!!! She had 480mls yesterday and 485ml today! Thats an increase right??!! lmao
Nite girls
xxxxx
-
Vix - Yes, 5ml is an increase for sure!! :p So glad to hear that you were feeling much happier and better yesterday. WTG also on Alannah eating the Spag Bol even though it was messy. I'm sure Diesel enjoyed the cleanup for ya afterwards! No worries about the missed call, felt terrible as I have been trying to phone you for a week now and when I say I'll try later again it just doesn't seem to happen soon lol Sorry! I will try again either on the weekend or early next week as I know you have your hands full on Fridays with swimming etc. Yay on Alannah's baptism on Sunday, I can't wait to see piccies. Sorry to hear that people are dropping like flies though!? I only had 7 people and 3 kids at Noah's and that including me, Peter and Noah. I invited my girlfriend but she didn't show because her husband (they are seperated) was going so she just sent 2 of her 3 little girls with him. Hope your Noah and you are feeling better from the gastro bug and that it stays away from the rest of the family. I've stuck with the S26 Gold formula for Noah, he seems to be ok with it now, I have changed his teats back to the "2" flow ones and although it takes him a while to drink he seems to be spewing less afterwards. I think he drinks too quick with the "3" flow teats?? Hope you have another good day today honey! Thinking of you ALWAYS!!
Sparkles - I too agree with Vix that it would drive me nuts if Noah only slept 30 minutes at a time and he only had days where he slept 50 minutes all day. :o When Ty wakes, do you go to him straight away or do you leave him a few minutes? I always used to rush in as soon as Noah did a peep but my CHN told me to leave him for 5 minutes unless his crying was severe or he sounded distressed. 90% of the time if he woke after 30 minutes and cried I would wait the 5 minutes and he would go back to sleep for another 45 minutes or so. Also, are you using blockout curtains for him during the day with his naps? I never bothered but found he would wake after 30 minutes and not want to go back to sleep. I am now closing his curtains during the day when he naps and think it has actually helped. I do think he is starting to drop his late arvo nap because I struggle to get him to go to sleep around 4:00pm like he used to for 45 minutes and that makes a very longggg arvo and I have a cranky baby by about 5pm but then we still have to get through bathing and dinner... Hope he will sleep a bit longer for you during the day soon though.
Hello everyone else!
AFM, sorry for TMI but I'm STILL having pain and issues with DTD!! :wall: Thought that it would have gotten better by now but noooooo! :shakehead: It's getting to the point of me not even wanting to do or even try anymore, but poor DH - I feel so bad for him! I had better get something done or sorted especially if we're wanting to start TTCing again in a few months, how can you TTC when you can't DTD!? lol :p My OB/Gyn said to see him if I was still having pain 3 months after stopping BFing and it's only just been a week!? Mmmmm..... I'm going to see a girlfriend of mine who told me yesterday that she's 5 weeks pregnant with baby #2. She also knows my other friend (the one who recently split from her partner of 17 years) so we're both going to meet up with her for lunch and to cheer her up a bit as she really isn't dealing well with the split.
I better go check on my little man as I popped him back in bed after his bottle and he was whingy for a while but has gone quiet so I'm hoping he has gone back to sleep.
Hope you all have a great day!
Love to you all!
xoxox
-
Pretz- I will leave him as long as I possibly can before going in, about once a month he will go back to sleep! He has always had blockouts during his day sleeps & I have tried without jic but he has never been a great day sleeper so I am used to trying to get everything done including running our business with the little man by my side! Lucky he sleeps well at night! My sisters 2nd child is the same, hardly sleeps in the day but is shocking at night too, so I count myself lucky! :)
-
Vix - glad you had a better day yesterday, glad to heat alannah is a spag bog fan and diesel was well fed lol, hope you and Noah feel better very soon, um I did sort of wean of my meds, they were 20mg so she told me to cut them in half and take half a day, but I only had about 5 left, so only lasted 10 more days, then went from that to nothing. I just wanna be me again!! Cooper had is first tiny smack to, he was sitting on me scratching mw and pulling my hair so I tapped his arm and said no quite sternly. Yep just gave me a death stare then burst out laughing! Brat. Hope you have a good day today and alannahs baptism goes off without a hitch on Sunday
pretz - I'm still having pains with dtd as well  but I'm sure its just because of the scare tissue left behind from having such a bad tear, which unfortunately means it may never go away :o for me but it only hurts like hell with *TMI* the initial insert, after like 30 Seconds when everything is well lubricated it feels normal. I hope when you do see the ob/gyn he has some answers
Afm - I have a stinking cold! Had a sore throat for a few days but this morning I woke up with no voice and a head and ear ache to boot  I did wake and have a sip of water immediately due to the agony of my throat and then remembered about MS and the weird feeling of throwing up water but so far I haven't felt nauseous
ETA - nope there it is
-
oh where do I start.
my life is a massive pile of dung today. feel like curling up under a rock somewhere for the next 20 years.
firstly this girl on FB who has been really annoying me for quite some time finally took a stab at me personally for no real reason and started a discussion and has subsequently deleted me (saved me the trouble cos I was getting ready to remove her anyway). she is the sister of the girl from work who lost the baby and is nasty to me.
secondly I just feel emotionally exhausted and feel so alone. none of my friends would answer the phone to talk to me.
lastly it has all been about J today. after ignoring his calls because I knew it wouldn't go well, he messaged me this morning about having V today (i never said he could) and tried to guilt trip me because apparently its his dads birthday, and I should have contacted him, and now i've ruined his dads birthday blah blah blah.
I got on the phone, the first time he didn't listen to a word I wanted to say and actually had the nerve to HANG UP on me.
A short while later I missed another 2 calls from him ( i was genuinely busy) and received a text saying that this is stupid and we need to have an adult discussion about things (yet HE was the one who hung up on the phone).oh and also 'yours is not the only opinion that matters' (yet HE was the one who talked over me and didn't listen).
My opinion doesn't matter, because to him HIS is the only opinion that does. if I don't agree with him I am wrong. every time.
This is all because he wants V for 3 half days a WEEK. and I said no way. I think we'll stick with 2. and even that is really more than fair I think.
Apparently I am selfish because even if he has him 3 days I GET HIM FOR 4 days.
Sounds like immature, jealousy, and absolutely all about himself not Vinny.
He claims that he is considering vinny and I said bull ****. I told him I am considering vinny, and if I was selfish and only thinking about me I wouldn't go to the trouble to let him see vinny at all now would i.
I am sooooooooooooooooooo mad right now. we are just going around in circles.
I'm happy to do 2 days a week, and up it to 3 later on. but in the meantime if there is a family bday or anything he can let me know and we can arrange it for that day or if he wants he can have him on extra days when they suit. but definitely not a permanent 3 days
-
Sparkles - I thought that you would be doing that - leaving him for as long as you could before going in. I guess he is just one of those bubs that can go without much sleep during the day. Your poor sister with her 2nd child not sleeping well day or night! Glad that Ty is at least sleeping all night. Noah is the same at night (sleeping right through without a peep - 12 hours at a time yay!!) and to be honest, if his daytime sleeps are crappy, I usually just remind myself that I'd rather he be awake during the day than at night. lol :p
Raffy - Sorry to hear that you're also still having pains with DTD! :doh:Yeah, I'm guessing mine is also from scar tissue from where I tore and also from my operation to help fix it. Don't think my poor va-jay-jay will ever be the same again! It's gonna be a long time before I can see the OB/Gyn though because he said only to see him once I had stopped BF'ing for 3 months as it could possibly make a difference as my body would be more "naturally lubricated" with the help of estrogen which is basically non existant when BF... so we'll see, guess I just have to either keep trying, sorry for too much info, use more lube or just put up with it for a bit longer! lol Sorry to hear you have a cold, that sucks! I hope that you feel better soon. Try to take it easy where you can and rest up.
Brydz - Oh honey, I don't know what to say except that I wish I could give some of these people a punch in the face for ya!! I would also come over in a heartbeat if I lived closer and give you a huge, big, hug!! Sorry to hear that J has been making things difficult and acting like a child! Hope you guys can sort out something. :comfort:
Hi Vix & Nikki!
AFM, had a great time with my 2 girlfriends today for lunch and didn't get home until after 3pm. Was a long day and Noah only had 1 nap while we were out so he was exhausted by the time we came home and was a bit cranky. Luckily I was able to get him through dinner (fed him some chicken which he LOVEEEEEED YAY!!!!!!!) and bath time and he was in bed by 6:25pm and gone by 6:28pm without a peep. Tomorrow MIL is coming over, she had finished making my curtains so we're going to hang them up - FINALLY lol Next week we're getting a couple of tilers in to give us some quotes and then we can get onto tile shopping so we can finish tiling the bathroom and kitchen. I'm going to sort through our reno photos over the next few days when I get the chance and will post some updated ones on FB.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Me xoxo

Afternoon ladies
Brydz - firstly, wow wat a b itch that girl was for personally making an attack at you over FB, I swear to god, if my ILs lived closer I would get rid of FB in a heartbeat, the only reason why I keep it is to update friends and family in WA about Cooper, hence why majority of my posts and photos are of him, it just causes so much unnecessary drama, as for J, wow he needs to grow up, Vinny is a human being and I think 2 days a week is more than fair considering this time last year he wanted nothing to do with you guys  just keep doing what you feel is right and stick to your guns, mummy knows best, how is work going besides stupid collegues?
Pretz - that's fair enough re: dtd, I hope with time it becomes more comfortable for you  and as you said I'm sure our gineys will never be the same after what they went through, glad you enjoyed your lunch with friends and that Noah liked his chicken for dinner  enjoy your lovely new curtains and I can't wait to see picks of your lovely renovated house :)
AFM - still have this stupid cold :cold: can't taste a dam thing which is frustrating me coz I love food lol, we went out for dinner last night and I only got wedges coz any nice food is wasted on me at the moment lol. And the worse thing is I think Cooper is getting it to  he woke up twice during the night last night just screaming and I tried to put the dummy back in so when that didn't work I picked him up and he sounded all blocked up :( I just want it to nick off and leave us alone. Mum gets back from Thailand today, this is the first time she's gone for the full month so it feels like I have seen her in ages, my sister went to pick her up from the traino this morning and they should be back in the bay soon, which is exciting, so we'll go round and see her this arvo, had a friend stop in on her way from cairns to Adelaide and stay for a few nights, was so good to see her again but she just left this morning. Cooper woke at 6 this morning and has only JUST gone back to sleep :o so i dare say this nap will be a long one lol. Morning sickness is still well and truly present but still only actually being sick in the morning which is ok I suppose. Might go eat a piece of bread seen as that's what everything seems to taste like anyway and I need to get something in my tum lol hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend. Love to all
-
Eff. I have missed to much.
Sending massive group huggies for everyone :grouphug:
Pretz - for your DTD issues :comfort:
Bydz - for J being a selfish idiot :ninja:
Raffy - for feeling sick
Vix - for feeling a little down the other day (BUT - awesome news that you are not concerntrating on the little missys feeding as much, and she is going great guns. Hooray for the life saving spag bog too!) :leap:
AND ...
AFM - Kids got a cough :cold: Sucks. DH is hungover after going to a wedding and getting blind. IDIOT  Need to do groceries. You girls just KNOW how i LOVE to do groceries :computer:
Over and out .... wahhhhhhh
-
some long over due personals..
raffy -that is great news about EJM expecting again in your group too. Say hi to her for us! HOpe you are feeling better and over the cold/sore throat. How many weeks is the bump now hun? do you have a scan coming up soon? Work is going alright thanks, I have no shifts until next Sat/Sun which is good because I get weekend rates :D
pretz -so its been cold up north as well? it got to -3 the other night here. my car was really frosted over when I had to be up early for uni last tuesday. I HATE winter. OH that sucks about the DTD issues :( Yay for your newly pregnant friend! and bugger about the one who had the split.
sparkles -Vinny is about the same as Ty, doing circles around the floor. Sometimes wriggles backwards a little. Its suprising how much mobility he has already though and isn't crawling as such yet! Sorry he is such a crappy day sleeper. That would be hard. I hate it when V is unwell and cat naps, because I'm so used to like hour long day sleeps (or more).
vix -hun sorry you are having a rough patch with the feeding and all that. You are never a failure so please don't say that about yourself. You are a great mumma who loves her children and I think you do an amazing job considering the PND and all. Sorry to hear lil NJ has had the gastro bug. That is yucky. Hope he is better by now. Oh yay Jenny Craig! hope that it is awesome. I wish I could afford some sort of help in the body department.. Hate myself lately. But I have no motivation to do anything about it and I keep getting stressed about stuff and eating for comfort :(
Hi NIkki and everyone else
-
afm Went to BEndigo yesterday and stayed the night at my sisters.
I rang J yesterday to see if we could get together to chat about everything and he said he'd 'find out' and then let me know. He rang back (after consulting the queen no doubt) and said sorry can't do it today as I'm (quote) "NOT ACTUALLY HOME" ...........right.............. he was calling me off the HOME PHONE! Lmfao. Is he stoopid? Anyways he said he'd discuss things with me today before I drop V off.
But in the end V didn't go today. He was sooooooooooooooooooooooo clingy/cranky this morning (and a little last night) I could not put him down for 2 mins to pee without him cracking it and calling Muuuuuuuummmmmmmmm. So I rang J and said 'he is sick, he has a cold and is teething, so I think its a no go for today because he is not up for it' and he was all sarcastic like 'oh right, thats awesome, I guess i'll have to hope he feels better'.
Um, damn straight, you should care about him feeling better. He seriously thinks I was making excuses. But why would I have got V up and dressed into J's clothes to go there, and if he weren't really sick why would I have brought him home and declined going to the pool with my sister?
-
brydz - I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow :) had a scan at 6 weeks and saw a blob with a heartbeat haha going back to the doctors in a couple of weeks to get my referral for my 12 week scan, that's an exciting one coz it will actually look like a baby then lol
 at J not 'being home' what an idiot, hahahahahahahah. Sorry to hear he was being a smart Alec about it all, and I hope V feels better soon, Cooper has been exactly the same, he will sleep no worries if your holding him but the second you put him down he will cry and cry and cry and cry :shakehead: he's in his cot doing it now, I just wanna go to sleep :asleep:
Oooooh I think he might finally be gone :crossfingers:
-
Raffy - Happy 8 weeks today! Wow, can't believe you're 8 weeks already, time just seems to be going faster and faster! You'll be having this baby before we know it! lol Hope you're feeling better from your cold and that Coops gets better with his soon too!
Nikki - Sorry to hear that both your kidlets have a cough  and that you had to go do grocery shopping, I remember how much you hate it! :computer: How are you feeling, hope you didn't end up having a blocked duct/mastitis!? Hope you enjoyed the wedding!
Brydz - Yes, it's been freezing up here too the last week. Especially in the mornings and evenings, although I'm the opposite to you and LOVE winter! lol :p I have 2 UTD friends now, another one just told me last night that she is 6 weeks with bub #2 too, so both of my girlfriends are due in January next year, one on 8 January, the other on 15 January. Making me feel VERY CLUCKY, but for the moment and until we try in September, going to enjoy my little man and having my boobs back to myself now that he's weaned! Sorry to hear J is still being a PITA and that Vinny is sick, hope he gets better soon!
Vix - I will phone you this week I PROMISE! If I don't get a hold of you, give me a call when you can and I can phone you back! lol It's nothing serious, just wanted to have a chat, say hello and see how you're doing!
AFM, had a girlfriend from work come over this morning and she just left, she has a 4 & 1/2 month old little boy and he is just starting to do rolly pollies - he is also soooo tiny and light, made me forget that Noah was once doing only rolly pollies too and light! lol Amazing how you can forget what they weren't all that mobile only a few months ago, when now they can't seem to STOP and you're always on the go to stop them from getting into EVERYTHING! lol  I've joined up in the Pre-TTC thread again just to chat with a couple of girls on the road to TTCing again, but you girls are still my no 1 priority!
Love to you all!
xoxox
-
Thanks pretz, I no what you mean I find it hard to believe I'm already 8 weeks as well. Only 12ish weeks til we find out if it's a boy or girl, that's what I'm most excited about lol, congratulations to your 2 friends who re UTD, if this bub is anything like Cooper I'll be giving birth in January to :) all the best with the pre - TTC thread, I have you guys and two belly buddies threads due to the fact I'm due late December and there is a good chance bub will come Jan,as I said before, I wanted to cover all possibilities lol. Omg I no what you mean regarding younger bubs, when our friends came down at Easter with their four month old I found it amazing how little and light she was and how little she could do lol, now here's Cooper laughing, sitting, rolling, crawling and he's only a few months older :)
-
I'm here, reading just busy trying to catch up from the weekend! Our room disappeared! We chucked all the crap in there on Saturday night and we th have a little path to the bed so we don't break our necks in the dark! lmao
xxxxx
-
Lol vix - sounds a bit like my room. Happy 8 months to miss alannah for tomorrow :confetti:
-
wow can't believe our Alannah is 8 months! we are creeping so quickly toward that big 1st birthday milestone!!
I haven't even given thought to what to do about birthday arrangements yet but I guess I will have to start considering the options soon. V is almost 7 months in a few days.
Nothing really new happening with him, same wriggling around, sitting up, teething those top teeth (none through yet) and being cheeky. He is VERY noisy, lots of growls and laughter and just noises.
No normal verbal words like mum or dad or anything, though he has been saying hello and hi/hey for a while and I SWEAR that yesterday he stopped playing looked up at me and said 'i love you'. I was gobsmacked, but it was very clear.
I am going alright, have to work tomorrow and sunday.
Things with J have improved slightly, he had him on Wednesday for the usual time and we got along fine at handovers and he even dropped him home 5 mins early which was good. I was a bit worried because he missed last weekend that he might keep him longer.
But I'm sure he knows that if he ever did, the consequences wouldn't be worth it.
He is having him tomorrow AND sunday. I know I said no to 3 days a week, but he did miss out last sunday because V was sick. And I am working both days.. so its not like I'm missing out on time with V, and he would have just been with my mum so why not go to his dads?
I still want to have a proper talk to him about feelings and all that. I think a lot of our problem is the personal emotions that are not dealt with. I need to be honest and straight up and explain that I'm not interested in him because i think he is scared I want more from him. I just want him to get along with me and trust me and let me do the same in return. We have to raise a child together. And its hard, and not what I wanted either but its our reality, we need to make the most of it..
-
Brydz - I'm glad you and J are slowly working things out and he isn't taking advantage of your generosity regarding Vs visits, I think talking to him about emotions and things like that is a great idea as I'm sure the tension is horrible  hope work is good this weekend :)
OMG we have a crawler :o just this afternoon coopers decided to ditch his commando crawling and get up on all fours (which he's been doing for ages) and instead of just rocking back and forth he staring moving. Then df got home and had a cuddle and I said to put him on the floor and yep, he crawled for daddy, so then of course we had to get all the ILs on skype and what not lol, but I'm a super proud mumma, he's also saying hi, mumma and bubba, no dadda (sucked in daddy hehe)
-
Raffy - Wow only 12 weeks til you find out the sex of your bub!! :happydance: I can't wait to find out what you're having either, sooooooo exciting!!! Hope you have been feeling a bit better with the nausea and m/s the last few days. How's your cold and Coopers? Hope you're both getting better! Oh wow, WTG Coops on crawling! Noah has been getting up on all fours for about a week now and is constantly on all fours and doing the rocking backwards and forwards thing but haven't actually crawled....I'm sure it won't be long though! lol
Vix - Hello there! Were you able to find your bedroom yet? lol I have days like that too where everything just gets chucked anywhere in my room and it takes a few days before I tidy it up! lol Hope you're doing well!
Brydz - Glad to hear that things have been a bit better with you and J and that he also dropped Vinny off 5 minute earlier. ;) I hope that you and J can sit down and have a proper talk and get everything off your mind. How cute that he said "I love you" Noah only says "Hey" and "Boo" no mamama or dadada or anything like that here yet...lol I was actually just thinking about Noah's first birthday party today, was wondering what I should do... am thinking I'll just invite the girls from my Mummies group with their bubs and a few of my girlfriends with their bubs and we could have a sausage sizzle at a park or something!? lol I can't believe how quick the time has gone. I mean, Vinny as our youngest bub will be 7 months soon! Wow! It feels like just the other day we were all 7 months pregnant! lol
Nikki - Hello! Hope everything is well on your end!
AFM, on Monday arvo I had to go pick DH up as his truck broke down - it was the clutch which is costing us $6,500 to fix . Poor DH has been stressed out a bit because no truck meant no work. He was home Tuesday, Wednesday and yesterday, which wasn't entirely bad as he was able to help me finish a few things around the house so that's good. Noah has been sleeping really well lately and I'm one happy Mummy because I've been getting some really great sleep too, although I sometimes still wake and want MORE sleep! lol Noah did however wake at 5:10am this morning and because we had to go drop DH off at the mechanic for him to pick his truck up, Noah didn't go back to sleep and he only slept in the car for 15 minutes before we got home and he only usually lasts about 2 hours between naps, but he only went down for his nap at 11:10am and slept for 2 hours 35 minutes! He also had a late arvo nap for an hour too, which hardly ever happens!! lol My girlfriend (the one that is 7 weeks pregnant) came over for a visit with her little girl (8 & 1/2 months) today and it was great to catch up.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Love to you all!

Hey girls. Happy day after the end of the world day!! nice to see we're all still here.
ahahahaha. :shakehead: poor sad misguided religious folks that don't know what they are on about..
anyway.raffy that is awesome Coop crawled!! yay for him. and to do it on cue when daddy got home, that is a well trained baby!! hows the morning sickness? Yeah I'm glad he doesn't take advantage of my generosity. Yesterday when I dropped V off he was 20 minutes early. I worked, but mum said she was suprised they dropped him home at 20 to 6. So I was really pleased they did that. most people would have just kept him til 6 like I said to..
I still can't find the right time to have the personal feelings kind of chat. I have so much I need to say to him, but can't work out when or how.
pretz hey hun yeah things with J are okay at the moment I guess. I know, I couldn't believe he said I love you but it was so crystal clear! And this morning I said bub and he said 'bubba' awwwwwwwwwwwwww! first word other than hey and hello. Still hasn't said mum or dad yet (apart from the whiny calling out when crying mum).
I was so proud. :) haha I know! 7 months tomorrow. It feels like yesterday I was in labour. Or that I'd just peed on the stick. Time has gone way too fast. We will all have annoying teenagers in the blink of an eye. Hope we are all still in touch by then too, would be great.
I love this group of girls, you are all amazing! :)
I have to speak to J about Vinnys birthday, I really want a party ON his birthday as its his first, and its on a sunday. But I imagine J will want him for half the day. I'd prefer it if him and his family just came along to the party... Its his first one I think it should be special with everyone there together.
But I doubt that will happen. He wants everyone separate.
afm worked last night. I was buggered half way through. it was such hard work when the extra staffer was pretty useless. lovely girl but needed direction, and i couldnt really give any as it was my first official shift so i didnt know the routine either! haha. it was a longgggggg night. I was meant to have 30 mins for tea at 6pm. Didn't even get to sit down for 5 minutes until 9pm :( but it does go faster when ur busy.
Working in the same end tonight, I hope it goes a bit smoother. got different staff on. should be interesting.. the extra staffer is the mother of the girl I had issues with the other day (whos baby died).. I hope she is nicer than her daughter and treats me with respect.
-
Pretz - yes sounds like Noah will be on the move before you no it lol, I am feeling better, only have a runny nose now, ms is still going strong every morning without fail and nauseous during the day particularly if I have an empty tummy, so it rminds me to eat which is weird considering I feel so sick but alas it makes me feel better, sorry to hear about DHs truck, that sucks big time, nice that he was home a few days but :)
Brydz - yep still here so I guess this means we are going to hell :o I was saying to df yesterday I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at the moment when a full on believer didn't get taken to heaven hehe wow 20 to 6!! What tha? Maybe V was being grumpy so they couldn't wait to drop him off lol regarding the chat, maybe just ask J if you can talk to him ALONE and then just say the first thing that comes to mind, Make it clear how you feel and that the relationship you share is purely based on Vinnys care ect, that sucks about wanting a seperate party for Vs birthday, maybe discuss it with him anyway and see if there is a chance hes changed his mind, good luck at work tonight, I really hope that lady is nothing like her daughter and you manage to get plenty of sleep during the week a huge happy 7 months to Vinny tomorrow xx
AFM - ahhh so it seems everything always happens at once when we are concerned, and it's always based on money, or there lack of in our case, DFs rego and insurance is due, he needs a spare tyre and a proper car tune up, I also got a letter from the ATO the other day saying I owe them $314 from a tax return 2 years ago :o, a $317 dollar electricity bill, 2 x $80 phone bills, and 3 x loan repayments all due at roughly the same time, we are on a single income  I was planning on selling my sister my car for $1000 (which is a bargain) but she needed dad to pay her back the money he owes her before she could pay me, fair enough, no probs, so mum tells dad that df and I are on struggle street and eating ham and cheese toasties every night just to get by, which sadly is true, coopers nappies and formula was far far far more important, so yesterday I got an email from dad saying he's GIVING me $1000 but with some conditions, 1. It's for me and Cooper, no snakes or lizards, fair enough. 2. I sell J (sister) my car, no worries, done, pending payment. And 3. DF never hits my dog again or we will have some major issues, say what :o I wrote back saying ok, and thanks, means a lot blah blah blah and that ive already given J the car I'm just waiting for her to pay me, but she knows the only reason why I'm selling it is that I need the money ect. He wrote back and said get the money asap coz she useless at repaying money. Then later last night I got a msg from J saying she's really sorry but due to the fact dad is no longer repaying her the money he owes her she can no longer afford to buy my car! What tha? So basically I'm effing ****ed off with my dad to the point of tears because:
A/ he thinks 'giving' me $1000 gives him the right to talk ***** about my fiancé who is nothing but kind, loving and caring and has gone out of his way to impress dad
B/ he understands I'm broke and selling my car to J so that I have the money I need, but refuses to repay her coz she 'doesn't deserve it'
So now I'm still selling my car for $1400 (still a bargain) and as soon as I've sold it he can have his $1000 back and shove it up his a$s!! I've gotten this far without his 'help' what makes him think I need it now. Grrrr vent over
-
raffy boo to your dad being a jerk like that. what was the part about DF all about? random condition to throw in for a personal gift of money... I hope you get all the bills sorted. It can be really hard. I can totally sympathise, Just in MAY may I've had to pay rates $250, electricity $150, nursing registration $115, Internet $40, Phone $45, plus my insurances $150, car loan $290 and mortgage $400 plus I haven't received them yet but am due to get the water (which will be around $200) AND the gas (about $50 I expect).
AND my car is wayyyyy overdue for its service (the amount of driving I do between uni and home and J's place is ridiculous.).
And all when my baby bonus ran out and I've had to go back to work. Luckily I'll be fine because I had $1000 worth of working credits with c/link so everything I've earnt this fortnight won't affect my pension :)
Luckily casual weekend nursing rates are pretty sweet. So in just 3 days work I'll be taking home about $800 I think. Get paid tomorrow ;)
Looking forward to having it all paid and then I guess just waiting for the next round.. haha.
Today I plan to apply for a job at the nursing home mum works at. I've only been back for 3 shifts where I am and honestly hate it. The staff are just so *****y and back stabby and ick, I get treated like a child by some. Thankfully last night was really good. The lady on was actually great to work with. However I don't trust her one bit she is of the 'up the bosses bum' persuasion. Yet she sat there and bagged the boss to me (I think she was baiting me to try and get me to say stuff she could dob on).
So yeah hopefully I can get a job in this other place and work with some new people. The mentality of staff where I am just does my head in!!
-
Brydz - oh apparently on my birthday df hit mum and dads dog, I don't remember it, but apparently it happened, anyway the reason why he hit her was coz we were feeding Cooper and she was trying to take his food off him :o umm so he's just suppose to let her do that without telling her off, grr it makes me so mad.
I really hope you get the job at the home, I've worked in places with people like that to and it does my head in, the live off the drama and b!tchiness. Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you :crossfingers:
-
Hey girls.
Sorry I haven't been around in a while. Took a bit of a step back from BB, then DH went back out west working, so I'm here with the 4 kids alone full time. Then the hard drive in my computer died!! Finally got it back today, after losing everything on it :( The first 7 months of Summer's life, gone. Naver been so greatful for facebook & glad I have so many photo's on there. So many are gone though. Personal ones. Oh well. You learn from your mistakes I guess.
Summer has just started crawling. She knows belly flopping is quicker though, so still mostly does that. She's getting a set of lungs on her! & bloody standing up! On the window sills, chairs, me. She's standing & its driving me mad!! Have to go lower the cot & the porta cot next time DH is home.
Still breastfeeding & in cloth. Started BLS at 6 months. Tried feeding her some avocado with a spoon yesterday & she didn't get it. She kept trying to take the spoon coz she's used to doing it herself. So I dumped it on the walker & let her have fun!
Having assessments done on DD2. Thinking she may have sensory integration disorder, or something along those lines. Also looking at getting DS checked out after the Occupational Therapist suggested it after DD2's assessment. Just from her observations of him in the waiting room.
Also finally have my house back in order. Only took 7 months! I can see my bedroom floor again & everything else is cleaned out. Lets call it a spring clean in autumn
Not much else to report I don't thiunk. Just flat out trying to keep up right now!
-
STANDING UP???????????!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG Alannah is the oldest and just rolls around on the floor and sits up to play. (We sit her up)
What is Sensory Integration Disorder? Is that like and emotional sensory disorder? I have a gf whos sone has that which basically means he does not know how to express himself and looses it so to speak in high stress situations even in an Easter hat parade as the whole activity of parading around with bunny ears on his head and everyone clapping and cheering was just too overwhelming for him. Apparently he ran away and hid. Poor fella.
My house is a bit like that too hun! and we are about to start a little reno job inside so more dust and crap! lol
AFM: MIssy just had her first Vegemite and Cheese sandwhich! I tried her on some bread yesterday (normally has toast) and she loved it so today, I made all three kiddies the same sandwhich! lol
Best go and clean up from lunch.
xxxxx
-
Vix - alannah will get there in her own time! Cooper is pulling himself up on everything which goes hand in hand with him falling all the time, wish he'd slow down lol
AFM - not much happening. Baby free tonight. Going out to a trivia night for the local footy club that friends play for :) had BT yesterday to go with my NT scan that is next Friday :hooray: I swear to god I can feel this bub moving already. Just have moments when I feel the 'flutter' who knows :dunno:
-
 Yep. Its ok Vix... my others took longer to stand up. Standing earlier just means falling earlier... Specially since she's only using one hand, or leaning sideways & using no hands!
She sits herself back up now. But she's still gummy
DD2's sensory integration disorder is similar to your friends DS, but she's the opposite. She likes the noise. (brb - ok, baby fed)
She seeks to stimulate her sences. Through touch, sound, sight... Drives me insane 99% of the day!
-
Clover - Wow, standing up hey? Noah is just going from sitting to crawling (backwards), sailing forwards on his tummy and then sitting up again from his tummy position! They're all growing sooooooo quick! Won't be long and all our bubs will be running around everywhere! lol Hope you're doing ok. Have been thinking of you!
Vix - Don't worry, I'm sure Alannah will get to crawling, standing and all that in her own time. Noah still isn't fully crawling either, he just moves himself backwards about a metre on hands and knees and then gets stuck and he is the 2nd oldest... Yay on Alannah having her first cheese and vegemite sandwich! Noah is still pretty picky with his food and I've noticed the last few days that he isn't as interested in foods he used to LOVE before. He just wants to have what I'm having ALL the TIME now lol Had some steak for dinner last night along with his peas and zuccini and loved it! Yay!!
Raffy - Hope you enjoyed your baby free night and please tell me whether my eyes are playing tricks on me or not but is your ticker correct in saying that you're 10 weeks 6 days!? hehehe HOLY DOOLY!!!! :o Where did that time goooooo??? You'll be having this baby before we know it at the rate the time has gone! Hope you're feeling ok and that all goes well with your NT scan on Friday! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that it's a PINK bundle for you which won't be long until you can find out! hehe
Nikki - Hope Ben gets better soon! Thinking of you honey!
Brydz - Hope Vinny has a few better days now that he has cut tooth #5! :)
AFM, finally finished AF which lasted.......wait for it......a full 9 days!!!!!! OMG, I was soooooo over it yesterday I wanted to scream, but thankfully she's packed up and left this morning!! No cramps during those 9 days though so pretty chuffed about that at least! lol Only 3 more AF's to go and then TTCing #2 starts!! and :o
DH is outside cleaning up the yard and I'm cleaning up inside. Noah is napping and has been for about 45 minutes now so hopefully he'll nap at least another 45 minutes so I can get my washing hung outside...
Love to you all!
xoxoxo
