Pretz - yes Cooper loves his bath, he gets grumpy around 5.30/6 and the second he touches the water he starts laughing. It's very cute. Glad AF looks like she is going away.sucks about possibly being anemic. I hope your BTs give you the answers and you feel better soon Wow noahs weight is fantastic, good job Hun, obviously not BFing anymore so I'm of no help, hope someone that can help pops in soon.

Brydz - sorry to hear you two aren't well. I hope you both get well very soon and v doesn't have to be admitted. Try and get some sleep and stay safe

vix - how are you darling? Hope your still around and are ok. I saw the pic of alannah you put on FB check out all those teeth!! She is so dam cute. How is she going with solids? Any better than before? Hope you are well Hun xx

AFM - sorry I haven't been in much. One of my best friends move from the bay to Sydney yesterday and I was spending time with her and also helping her pack and stuff, gonna miss her so much, she is one of the few friends I have here so I was super sad to see her go, but she just got out of a relationship and it's what she wanted so I spose it's for the best, still sucks. DF and I are having a family weekend. Realized it's been to long since we spent quality time together, just the three of us, so thats what we are doing this weekend. Not that it's that exciting, we finally bought a lawnmower today and tomorrow DF is gonna use it lol. My BIL is coming to stay for a week on Tuesday and he's bringing his dog so figured we would clean up the house and yard for them. Then not this weekend but next (Easter weekend) my best friend and partner and 3 months old daughter are coming down from Brisbane to stay the weekend. Can't wait to see them again and finally meet little Chloe went to the footy today and saw friends who have bubs around coopers age but they are all girls haha he's always the only boy. And such a boy, he always hits them and pulls their clothes and hair, bully. Anywhoo I'm off to hit DF coz his snoring is doing my head in lol

Ohhh how could I forget HAPPY 6 MONTHS COOPER!!!! Love you baby

Pretz - inbox me tomorrow on FB and I will get some info to you about weaning BUUUUUT if you just got AF, the hormones will change the taste of your milk and also, Noah is at the age where they become sticky beaks. I am still feeding Alannah just in the morning and have her pull of with all her teeth scrapping down my nipple several times a feed per side as she just wants to see everything going on. Shes on, off, on, off all the time. With the bottle, she can turn her head and the bottle goes with her and she can still see what her big brothers are up too.

I am still here, will update ya all when I get a sec.

Love you all,
xxxxx

Hi all,

Im around, just knackered. Ben is still feeding 3 times a night and after 6 months of it, I'm so fed up and utterly exhausted. I started having heart palpitations and breathlessness so went and saw the dr who said I have anxiety and stress from sleep deprivation. Wicked. Tell that to the big fat baby!! LOL

Pretz - I am still BF exclusively, but Ben does the whole pull off thing, look around, then go back and he has really dropped his feeds since having 3-4 solids meals a day. Sorry to hear about AF, mine is still MIA. Woo hoo!

Hello to everyone else, I will come back properly once the computer is out of the shop and fixed, trying to do as much as I can while having limited time on DHs lappy!!

Raffy - Yes, Noah is the same, no matter how grumpy/cranky/tired he might be, as soon as I tell him it's bath time, he will wave his arms and kick his legs from excitement and squeal to the top of his lungs! Sooooo cute! Thanks honey. I just hate AF, always have and think I always will! I always used to say that as soon as I have had my 2 kids then I'd opt for a hysterectomy and get it all over with but then I think - would I really want to go through early menopause in my early 30's and possibly have a whole different lot of "symptoms" to deal with?? I guess I can put up with AF for a few more years then.....lol Hope you had a good family weekend and had fun spending some quality time together.

Vix - Thanks honey. I sent ya a message on FB just before. Any help/tips/info will be greatly appreciated. I feel a bit silly asking, but seeing as I have never weaned before, I just don't know what to do or how to do it or even where to start. lol I would hate to just stop and get mastitis or something as a week or so ago I started waking up in the early morning hours with the most engorged boobies ever!! Think it's because he is sleeping through the night now and having have had dropped his nightly feeds. I still feed him BF in the morning when he wakes up and again late arvo/evening but that is about it as he just doesn't seem interested as I mentioned before. I too find he latches on and off and on and off and gets distracted soooooo easily. When DH is home I have to tell him to go away otherwise Noah will just want to stare around the room trying to find him. lol

Nikki - OMG, I'm sooooo sorry to hear about the heart palpitations and shortness of breath. I'm also sorry to hear that Ben is still feeding 3 times a night. You poor woman!! He must be a hungry little man!! Sucks that they latch on and off and on and off hey? It especially hurts when they have teeth! lol Thanks, and lucky you for no AF, enjoy it not having her for my part too!

Brydz - Hope you and Vinny are feeling better and that Vinny won't need to be admitted to hossy. Hope your Mum is able to help you out a little while you and Vinny get better. Thinking of you.

Hello to everyone else!

AFM, feel so much better after AF left. Only lasted those 7 days so happy with that. Just hope that the next one will be better. Thought Noah was coming down with a cold yesterday as he was sneezing all Saturday arvo and coughing through the night on Saturday night, sneezing yesterday and coughing but he seems fine this morning so guess just have to keep him warm if he is going to get sick. Guess if he does that it's probably not the worst thing as it'll help boost his immune system for winter coming and it's bound to happen eventually anyway - still horrible thikning of your baby being sick though.

My kitchen is all done, new dishwasher installed and got an electrician to come and connect up my new cooktop and oven so looking forward to having that done too. I already feel like a new woman in my new kitchen and love it!! Will post some piccies on FB at some stage when I get a chance.

Hope you all have a great day.

Love to you all!

xoxo

Hello everyone,

I am here just busy, busy!!! After letting Ty cry himself to sleep for almost a week, he seems to be settling heaps better for day sleeps, even if they are only a cat nap!! hehehe. I can't complain though as he is never a problem at night! Big hugs Nikki, i wish i could help you for a night!
Ty had his needles monday week ago, all good, stats 9kg, 72cm long...hes a big boy!!! Still chucking like a trooper, am going to another dr next week to question about the chucking & amount of & make sure it is not an intolernace or anything as i think it may even be getting worse with solids. Poor little guy, 99% of the time it doesn't worry him, but i worry it will damage his poor throat or something as an average day is probably 15 good chucks (lots of little ones in between) and bad day up to 30, who knows how he is SOOOO big, so obviously he keeps alot down but ,hey need to get a 2nd opinion for my own sake. In the mean time, we move into our new house next thursday & can already imagine what my new carpet is going to look like....oh well!!! Lucky he's so cute & i love him.
He sits by himself now but i still mainly put pillows behind him, although he still mamages to face plant on the ground, its like he chucks himself forward then tries to commando crawl, very cute!!! He has heaps to say these days too, squealing away all the time. He is such a happy, good baby, we really are lucky!!!

Apart from that, i have been very stressed with working & the new house so have been getting blurry vision in one eye, so i need to take a deep breath & calm down!! Nikki - i also get heart palpatations when stressed/anxious, it is awful isn't it!!!! On that note, i was going to go off the pill at the end of april to give my body a months break before officially TTC (YAY!!) but i decided to stay on it till end of May as i just need next month to settle into the new house and sort everything out. I would not want to be this stressed & pregnant, not good for my or the baby!!

Otherwise all good here, DH and i are so in love with our little man!

I hope everyone else is well & getting lots of love from their little ones.

Byrdz - How did your appointment with V go? Big hugs

Nikki -huge squishy hugs Hunni. I've had a few full blown pains attacks in the last few years and they start with heart pulpatations. It's such a horrible feeling, i really hope things get better soon

Pretz - so glad you feel better now AF has nicked off how is Noah going? Hope he didn't get to sick, I think Cooper might be getting sick (see AFM) yay for your kitchen bring all done, how exciting!! Can't wait to see some piccys of fabulous house

Brydz - how are you and v feeling?

Sparkles - wowzers 9 kg!!! That's one healthy little boy you have there hope the next doctor has some answers regarding his spewing all the best for your move!! I love moving house, but in saying that, I only love it coz DF is in the RAAF and threrefor in a defense house so when we have to move they hire people to com in and pack everything, put it on the truck, drive it to the new house, then unpack it again lol so easy peasy for us we just have to sit back and relax lol. Yay for TTC soon, I hope it's a super quick journey for you guys. We have officially started, almost finished the TWW, seems like it's going forever but I test on the 15th if AF doesn't show up before hand. Been feeling rather nauseous every morning but not wanting to ge my hopes up.

AFM - my BIL arrived today from Darwin, he's here for a week, DF and him have already started playing video games DF woke up this morning with flu like symptoms and Cooper stayed at mums last night and mum reckons he woke up at 5am and has been sooky and clingy ever since so I think he might be coming down with something to. I got to mums at 12 and left at 1 and mum said he hadn't really slept since he woke at 5am, the second I started driving home he was out like a light, poor little man, not to mention I think he teething as well so he's in the wars, hopefully it's all gone by next Tuesday, which is the earliest appointment I could get for coopers needles, and it's DFs birthday on that Tuesday as well, which I feel bad about but it was the only appointment I could get oh well. Cooper has started trying to pull himself up on things, he has a big plastic toy that he can either lay under or sit and play with and he's been trying to pull himself up on that and also tried in the bath last night lol naughty boy. Growing so quick, anyways might go and steam some veggies in time for DF to take to work, not that I think he will be there for long coz hes really not well. My poor boys

Love to all xx

Ah Sparkles the heart palpitations suck big time. I feel like I'm getting them all the time, but doctor said its normal and common when under stress or from lack of sleep. 9kg, go Ty! I just weighed Ben and he is 9kg too. Love them big boys!!!

Raffy I really hope you are already UTD!!

Ben sits up by himself now and I dont bother putting pillows behind him (nasty Mum, I am!), he catches himself when he falls and pushes back into the sitting position, so I havent worried. He is so close to crawling, on all fours and rocking, rocking, rocking and also gets up into the 'pushup' position but only moves about a foot and then gets grumpy. Seriously not ready for a mobile baby ... got to pack all the nasty things away!!

hey ya'll

Nikki - thanks, i hope so to. i got impatient and tested yesterday and got a BFN however i wasnt spose to test til at least tomoro and im not due for AF until around the 19th, so if she still hasnt showed by laste next week, i might test again mind you, the amount i plan on drinking this weekend for DFs 21st i hope there isnt a little bub in there or i will feel horrible. im a nasty mummy to coz i dont put pillows around Cooper when hes sitting lol hes really good at correcting himself and even if he does fall it doesnt bother him and he starts trying to crawl lol. im not ready for a mobile baby either. soooooooooooooooo many things i need to put up higher. oh well better start thinking about it coz i wont be long

AFM - i dont know if you ladies remember but a few months ago i was going to a young parents group? it only went for 4 weeks but they started again and the first one was today so i went along and the ladies were amazed at how much Cooper had grown and they were so proud of him for sitting up and at morning tea time he got to eat some apple as well lol there was only one other lady there today and she had a little boy prob around 2 or 3 months but cooper was very interested in him, unfortunately the little boy didnt feel the same way. so like i said in Nikkis post, DF turns 21 on tuesday so mum is having cooper this weekend and we are going out. should be nice, another excuse to let loose and hang with friends. we are going to Newcastle tomro so show BIL around and then probably to the shops. i have a westfield gift voucher which im going to spend and im gonna look for DFs present (i no, i no, leaving it extremely late lol) so that will be cool. anyways better head off to bed soon, im pooped. night all xx

Morning ladies!

Sparkles - WTG on Ty's great stats! Wow, all these bubba boys are nice and big! Sorry to hear he is still chucking as much. I hope that the Dr you're seeing this week can give you some info or recommend something to help him. Good luck with your move this week and how exciting that you're going to be TTCing soon!!

Raffy - Noah is doing well thank you for asking. Thought he was getting sick on the weekend but he seems to be ok. His nose does seem a bit blocked when he wakes in the mornings, but doesn't seem to bother him too much thankfully. Me on the other hand are coming down with a cold/flu so not feeling very well at the moment... Sorry to hear about the BFN, but perhaps it's just too early for it to be picked up. Hope you have a great time shopping in newcastle today and have a blast on the weekend celebrating DF's birthday!

Nikki - Hope you're feeling a bit better and that Ben has been sleeping somewhat better for you the last few nights! Thinking of ya honey!

Vix - Thinking of you as always! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Brydz - How are you and Vinny feeling now? Hope you're both getting better!

AFM - Noah had his morning feed at 4:30am and I went back to bed after he fell back asleep, but I couldn't get back to sleep. Feeling a bit crappy too as I think I'm coming down with a cold. Have had the sorest throat since yesterday morning and getting the sniffles too now... Hopefully I can get rid of it before it actually starts! Popped in to the clinic yesterday for a quick review of Noah with the CHN that helped me heaps with settling techniques for Noah and while I was there got Noah weighed and he now weighs 8.44kg and is 72cm! Just going to have a quiet day at home today, tomorrow DH, Noah and I are going to have a look at some showerscreens so we can get the upstairs bathroom finished for once and all too - just need showerscreens, a mirror for the vanity and tiles, then the tiler can come in and tile the bathroom and kitchen and everything is done! Woot woot!!!

Have a wonderful day!

Love to you all!

xoxo

hi girls. sorry ive been offline for a while. just had a lazy tired kind of week.

V didn't get admitted to hospital, just sent home after an hour or two of observation.

It has been about 10 days since he first got ill and now he is starting to get a lot better. For a while I was worried (the day he was at the DRs) because he was not eating/drinking well at all. But he is taking full bottles again now and quite chirpy. Still a bit coughy/wheezy but overall a huge improvement.

I myself am nearly back to normal, sore throat has finally left me and I just have a cough and slightly runny nose to fight off now.

today V went to my GP. He has had the lump in his butt for like 3 weeks, and 2 separate doctors had told me they had 'no idea' what it was. Anyway this morning it was soooooooooooo red and sore looking I decided enough is enough and then it sort of started oozing which is when I confirmed it was an abscess.

At the GP he had to get it drained, which meant me holding him down and holding his legs while the dr jabbed a thing that looks like a razor blade straight into the centre of it to pop it (and all y'all thought bubs needles was bad). Poor lil man screamed so bad and I felt awful for him, but I'm a toughy and certainly not the crying kind or the passing out kind (honestly it was pretty vomit worthy for anyone who doesnt have my iron stomach). I bet some of you guys are feeling sick right now.. oops!

Anyway, it went down a tonne and now he just has to have antibiotics for a while and a follow up to check the wound next week. He also gets his needles that day. Lucky boy. lol.

his dadHe also went to his dads today. The first time I left him there and came home (so was a full hour away from him). I soooooooooo enjoyed the break after a long week/two with sick clingy whingy bubba when feeling like **** myself..

I had the most wonderful relaxing bath (my first since pre-parenthood). It was nice to be able to stay in there and know GUARANTEED that he wasn't going to distract me!!

workI get my last baby bonus payment next fortnight. Which means money will be tight the week after unless I basically get a job immediately.
Fingers crossed I get one. I ran into an old work colleague yesterday who enquired if I was going to come back there (my 2nd last place of employment) and I said I would like to and she said great ill tell the boss.. they are apparently short staffed..

I have to drive all the way to Geelong tomorrow just for my CPR update. Once that is done the resumes will be finalized and printed and I'll get my butt into gear.

anyhoo. i'll come back tomorrow for personals.

The line is faint, but a line none the less. I bought a pack of 3 so I will do the other 2 tests this week and see if the line gets darker. We are celebrating DFs 21st tonight so I think I just gave him the best early birthday present ever

Raffy OMG WOW!!!!!!!! that is awesome news hun CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!. Don't know what else to say but that it is awesome news. woohoo. hope everything goes really well xoxoxo.

pretz -I hope you are feeling alright and dont have a bad cold. I am still getting over mine, had it around 10 days now. still coughing up a lot of yuk stuff and my nose hasn't completely stopped running yet. wish it would just p off.. wow 8.44kg and is 72cm! that is great stuff. go Noah! Vinny gets weighed next wednesday for his 6 month appointment, oh joy more needles.. at the hospital last week he was 7.78 and it had been two weeks since he was weighed at 7.72 so not much gain there but he was sick and not eating so I don't expect he'll have put a lot on this month.. oh that will be nice finishing your bathroom and kitchen. I still look at my house every day and imagine what it could be.. waiting to hear from the bloke I emailed weeks ago about getting my stumps looked at to assess how bad it is.. no point doing cosmetic things up top if the floors aren't level..

sparkles goodness Ty is a big boy too! they all are. good to hear he is settling better in the day time that sucks about all the chucking. hope they can figure something out poor lil guy. have fun moving house, that is one thing I hate doing.. yuk. packing is awful, unpacking not as bad cos I like putting the finishing touches around to make the house a home.

nikki Sorry you are havinga hard time hun. If it helps to know V still wakes at least 2 times a night 95% of the time. IT is hard work, I thought by almost 6 months he'd be sleeping better.. And I get heart palpitations sometimes too. They are really annoying. 9kg? wow all our bubs are doing so well. go Ben! that is good he sounds like he is doing really well with his sitting and all fours rocking. V has only just started trying to lift his bum off the floor in the last day or two.. they will all be off and moving before too long.

V is happily playing tummy time on the floor at the moment. He is going great guns apart from the sicknesses. Starting to really try and lift his bum off the floor and get onto his knees. haha spoke too soon he cracked it and is now on my knee trying to press keys..

nnvvvvvvvvxx cv ccx

that is from master V.. lol. anyway yes much more wriggly and mobile. on his back he hasn't rolled over yet but almost does.
oh and we have a tooth. bottom front left. and the other bottom front one is not too far behind

wasn't expecting one to pop up for ages. not much eles happening growing up too fast and i love him so much. just ordered a personalised letter for easter off ebay. it is reall
