Ok girls - apparently my "pool" problem is normal.....PHEW!
I had an appointment with my postnate physio and i told her about it and yeah she said in time it will sort itself out. ***TMI ***In other not so good news it appears i have nerve damage inside my vag all on one side, the physio was prodding the bone inside me and i have lost all feeling on one side, and i have really weak pelvic floors on that one side. Nothing could have prevented it - just happens. but i am on a waiting list to get a gizmo that goes up my vag and is like a car battery and will shock my muscles into life! (apparently!!!). She said i am nowhere near being the worst person with problems. Made me feel better!
In other news I am having no luck at trying to get this extra weight off - I am going to the gym and eating well....and it continues to stay....disappointing.
And in other horror news....Violet has started to lose her hair - very upsetting, her hair is her personality...she has so much of it...seems to be coming off the back and sides - not the top. I gave her panadol for the first time the other night although i think majority of it dribbled out - was really grizzly and pulling her ears and nashing her gums - think her teeth were having an up day. I hear they go up and down for ages before they break the skin.
Taurean - I would definately travel honey. Strap on a Baby Bjorn and off you go. Singapore being a 1st world country you would have no problems. Few outfits, some nappies and your good to roll.....I reckon if you are giving top ups just buy the S26 in the popper boxes so you don't have to mix with water and it would be easy!

Girls.....does anybodies baby keep grabbing their hair behind their head and ears? Violet has started doing it and does it a lot and i don't know what it means. She sometimes does it quite aggresively.....i googled it and it seems to be common with tiredness, but V does itall day long......any ideas?
Hi, everyone. We're still alive after a shocking week with Frazer. All I can say is thank god DH is on 6 weeks holidays or I woulda lost the plot that's for sure!!
We first thought Frazer was teething, the drooling, chomping down on everything and anything, slight cough and felt a tad warm. Then the histerical "pain" crying started. Was unlike any noise I have ever heard come out of him. He wasn't feeding properly, and everytime he woke up he'd scream and take ages to settle him down, we started to try the Panadol and Hylands teething tablets, (which are fantastic btw, has helped sooo much with the drooling) Bonjella but after a horrendous weekend (which included my brothers 30th b'day party) we decided to go to the docs. She diagnosed oral thrush which I think Taurean, Izzy had a while back??
So after a couple of terrible nights and 2 full days of medication he is slowly getting back to his normal self. You could tell he was definately not himself and just miserable. Have been pretty much house ridden since Sunday as have been to scared to go out with him. We ordered an amber necklace for him from Amberbebe.com which is a natural alternative to relieve some of the teething symptoms so am looking forward to that coming as I think that is starting as well, which probably didn't help on top of the thrush.
Sanchez- Sorry can't help with the hair thing, Frazer doesn't have enough to grab on to, but will find any blanket or spew rag to hold on to behind his head if he is lying down. Maybe ask a CHN? Sorry to hear the news about your lady bits, nice to be reassured by the physio though. These are times when I feel lucky that Frazer was too big to come out the right entrance. lol
Anyways, hope that has explained why I have been MIA. DH was lucky enough to catch Frazer rolling over tonight. I have seen him do it a couple of times but DH kept missing it.
We made the move to Esk..yes it is hot here but its a dry heat. We have rainwater hooked up to the laundry and toilets and it hasnt rained much but apparently when the tank gets to a certain level it tops up with town water which is from Somerset Dam..I think. I constantly have to think about our water usage..on top of other things.
Indigo is doing well I havnt had her weighed etc since her 2mnth check up so it will interesting to see how much she weighs. My sister had her first baby and a girl last sunday so Indigo will have a cousin close in age. No rolling yet but lots of cooing, smiling and touching things and she even pushed her dummy back in the other day when it fell out. I have just bought a Bumbo again..as I sold the last one.
It doesnt feel like xmas to me so Im hoping that changes next week!! The boys have got a Buzz Lightyear toy each and Indigo has got her 1st cabbage patch fairy doll amongst other things lol
So, SOOOOOO quiet in here. BOO! Anyone out there?!
Sanchez - thanks for the travel tips. Looks like we'll be going in the new year with a bit of luck. I've got Izzy's passport sorted so we're ready to go now. Scary but fun! With regards to Violet pulling her hair behind her ears, is it possibly teething? Bubbies often tug their ears when teething so maybe Violet just prefers to tug her hair instead! Izzy isn't doing anything like that but the fact that she doesn't have enough hair to tug might make a difference. She's still quite the bald little poppet. Has a band of dark hair at the base of her head, like an old man, and just a dusting on the rest of her head. I was a baldy for quite some time so I'm thinking she might be the same.
Pooley - yup, Izzy had oral thrush (and I had it in my boobies - ouch!). It's quite yukko for them so I hope Frazer is on the mend. Did they give him that awful fluro yellow Nilstat stuff? What a stupid colour!! At least the cherry flavour isn't too bad. It was so funny smelling Izzy's cherry scented burps, LOL
Nicola - glad the move went well. I've bought Izzy quite a lot of stuff for Xmas but I didn't even think of getting her a doll! I'll have to give her one for her first birthday instead.
We've been busy with Christmas shopping and looking for a block to buy. Yes, our house sold!! It took 6 weeks, not bad at all. Settlement is in Feb so we'll start packing soon to avoid a mad rush in Feb. We are planning on building again in one of our favourite suburbs on the Swan River over here in Perth. Have found a couple of blocks we're interested in so hopefully we'll make an offer soon and secure our piece of paradise We don't plan on building for a couple of years though as it generally takes that long to get everything organised anyway so we're going to rent close to my parents which will be great. We are currently a 30 minute drive away so not all that convenient.
Izzy is doing really well and is such a gorgeous baby. We are so lucky! She's sleeping beautifully still (besides a random night with two wake up calls on Saturday - I was shattered!) with 9-10 hours straight overnight and a good few hours in the morning and a bit of catnapping in the afternoon as I'm usually out and about. She really is a dream baby but I guess we did do the hard yards with breastfeeding issues and her silent reflux. It's been worth the effort, that's for sure!
We weighed Iz last week as she hadn't gained much at her 12 week checkup and it looks like the few extra comp feeds did the trick - she had gained 570 grams in two weeks!!!! So she was at 5.3kg a week ago. I'm thrilled. She's quickly growing out of all her tiny stuff and is wearing a mix of 000 and 00 clothes now. I need to buy her some more little casual summer dresses as I had to pack away my fave ones over the weekend Boo hoo!!!
We're off for a swim this afternoon with the girls from mothers group. Five of us really clicked from day one so we've been catching up twice a week for a swim on Monday's then afternoon tea on a Wednesday. It's a hot one here today so I'm really looking forward to our swim. Izzy enjoys it a lot more than the class we went to as we just go at our own pace, she seems to like that. I'll go back to some sort of swimming class with her again soon but I don't think the class we did is for us. I'm happy to just do a bubs class and skip on the mums session. Getting her to feed and settle in the pram quickly so I can get back in the pool is just asking too much. It really was more stressful than anything which totally defeats the purpose.
Izzy has so many presents under our Christmas Tree it really is a bit ridiculous. I'm loving it though and can't wait to get photos of her with her stash of goodies. I've mainly bought her clothes but did get her a few toys for different development stages. We got shaped blocks, a Fisher Price aquarium, an activity centre thing that hangs on the inside of the cot, one of those ring stacker things and a walker than converts into a bike. Fun fun!!
That's about it from us. I'd better finish getting ready for swimming so we can head off once Miss Izzy has woken from her super sleep!!

Nicola, that is good that your tank fills up from the dam when it gets low, it is a real pain to have to be so careful of water usage after living in town.

Sanchez, I hope that V's hair loss has slowed down - or does she have a big mohawk now? A lost most of her newborn hair but it is regrowing back quite quickly. It was a massive frizzball yesterday, but it must have reached terminal frizz and today it has fallen flat. She looks like a big girl now without her fuzz.
Hope that everyone is enjoying the lead up to Christmas.
All is well here. The IL's are arriving on the 27th so we are doing Christmas day on the 28th so they can be here to share the present opening. DS is very excited about it.
Amelia is absolutely perfect. She has been waking in the night again, but a quick feed puts her back to sleep most of the time and if that fails I just take her to bed. She is really loving the Jumperoo, she bounces around with a huge smile. DS keeps wobbling her around in it and I go to tell him to be careful and there she is with a massive grin lol. She is starting to pick things up and examine them which is cute and she can nearly last a half hour walk in the pram awake before she cracks it.
