NW3, great that your carpet is finally in! I know its so hard choosing colours from a tiny sample isn't it? We had the same problem when we renovated. Thank goodness it all looks nice. Ethan isn't crawling either but does get around by creeping like a caterpillar lol! He also rolls and bum shuffles a little to get around. He is trying to pull himself on furniture and was successful yesterday. I left the room for 1 minute and came back to find him standing up leaning on his little pooh bear learning table with a huge grin on his face!
Art, you poor chook do you manage to get any rest during the day? Does DS have a day sleep? Elena has dropped hers but I'm enforcing some 'quiet' time after lunch for my sanity lol! I know I couldn't be less clucky lol!
Kelly, bummer that the cold is still sticking around. I don't know what to suggest hun but sending some 'get well' vibes so that hopefully T will sleep much better. Great that he has adjusted so well to daycare, that must be a load off your shoulders. How are you finding being back at work? E still doesn't have any teeth!
Taurean, yes DD has always been a great sleeper. Of course she had her off weeks when teething/sick etc but overall she was a much better sleeper than Ethan is. I remember when she was 8 months (as I went back to work 2 days a week) she was sleeping 12 hours overnight plus two day naps of 1.5hrs each. If only her brother did the same lol! I'm looking forward to seeing the beer can pics, how hilarious!
We don't go out everyday but I don't like to spend more than 2 days in a row at home or else I get cabin fever. We have activities on two days (Mon and Fri) plus I usually do the grocery shopping on another day and might meet a friend for coffee etc on another day or have a playdate. But I find if I'm out too much then I get really behind on the housework and then we end up having to do it on the weekends (which I hate doing!).
Sleep here has improved the last couple of nights so fingers crossed it continues. He only woke once both nights and then after a quick cuddle he went back to sleep. What do all your bubs sleep in overnight? I borrowed a grobag from a friend and that is what E slept in the last couple of nights with a much better outcome. I'm going to have to give it back to her though so thinking I might have to bite the bullet and buy some (or something similar). I was looking at dream bags which looks similar but a lot cheaper, does anyone have these? Anyways better be off. I'm hoping E will go down for a sleep soon so I can jump in the shower. Have a great day all xo
