well shopping last night was a big success, well i hope it was haha only tmw will we know that for sure haha.. we bought her one of those motorbike look alike push along bikes from big w, she really loves her bike but is always complaining she cant get it going by herself yet (smart trike) and my dad has a motorbike she is very interested in so hopefully it will be a hit, we also got her a winnie the pooh tin that has 4 books which are a combination of colouring books and stories, 4 felt pens to colour with and a story cd, my nan and pop sent her $30 so with that we bought her this great itng set i found at target which had a bowl, cup, plate and bonus drink bottle for $20 which i know she will be very excited about and a hat with elmo on it because she really needed a new hat for summer.. then we got to the groceries to buy stuff for the cake and dh spotted a wot wots dvd so we bought that too haha.. we did pretty well tho only spent $55 and then the $30 she got given on presents all up which is quite controlled for us lol on a bit of a budget tho!!
gosh i realised this morning tho that i didnt buy eggs lol so i either have to con my mum into bringing some round or wait till dp gets home (around 6pm) to start the cake! how annoying!! ahhh well..
G - when do u need it by? have u looked at the online ABC shop? or on ebay? if not the printed version is a great idea or the little people sheep like someone else mentioned.. i love shaun the sheep!!
mamapan - love the name!! woot!!
md - wow some good cake ideas there how are you feeling now? any better? hope theres no damage in the shed from the water!!

    how very apocalyptic LOL!
Yeah when I saw it on the news I wondered how many end-of-the-worlders would be dusting off their signs LOL. Yay for cheap gelato (just the way it should be).

MM - oh I am sooo dead jealous - I *LOVE* beyonce (even tho I dont normally follow that kinda music) she is one awesome all singing all dancing power chick! You'll have to tell me how it went!

Noni - sounds like you're getting v. excited about A's birthday...she will be thrilled with those prezzies (esp the motorbike) & sounds like you've done well on your budget too. Bummer about forgetting eggs (there's always something isn't there).

Leanne - how are your sick chickies today?

AFM - still having symptoms (totally over getting up in the middle of the night for the coughing ) but feeling like my energy is finally starting to pick up a bit. Going shopping today to get the last of party bits & bobs - will decide tomorrow if we're postponing or not.

Trill, lmao, looks like some of your topsoil has made its way over here! Did you say a while ago that A is a size 9 shoe? Jeepers he must have big feet!

MD, so glad you are starting to beat the bug. Hope you don't have to postpone the party.

Ozstar, I am soooo excited for you. How cool is it waking up in the morning wondering if today is the day you are going to meet your new bubba.

Ginger, I think of you every time I see Shaun the Sheep lol, how painful it must be to watch it as often as you do

Hi to everyone else, not finding much time to post lately

Can someone tell me if I am just hopped up on hormones or if I am actually insane but the other day at mothers group someone announced they were pregnant - I was holding a 12 day old baby and I was jealous! I am already thinking about next time even though we are only planning on having two...

Arte, yep, we couldn't get over to visit you ourselves so we thought we'd send a little bit of Oz over for ya! LOL And yes I think you are definitely hopped up on hormones LOL.

Noni - OMG that is one awesome Humpty cake! You must be soooo pleased (and excited about tomorrow!!!)

BTW - I got a parcel today from a mysterious "friend" - it's a gorgeous necklace with my girls names and their birthstone beads on there too - anyway I"m hoping it's one of you lovely ladies and not some random BB stalker I've picked up along the way LOL. So you better fess up...

AND while I'm at it...I *think* I've been RAK'd (no idea when)??? WHO DID THAT?

Geez Md - sounds like Christmas is coming early for you! Your present sounds lovely.
How are you feeling this evening, and how is sharing your home going?

noni - your cake is awesome! great job!

Arte - being pregnant is wonderful isn't it. I understand why you were feeling a little jealous, even though your beautiful bubba is so young. How is W going?

    Happy Birthday Jack.

Humpty looks cool Noni, nice work!~ We're having a humpty cake too, but the WW one with a wall and humpty is an egg! I've made humpty and will make a cake tomorrow. We're going to pretend it's her birthday on Sunday!

Arte- i too was jealous of people who were about to have a baby or had a baby younger than mine. It was short lived and must be due to those hormones!!! I just enjoyed my labour so much that i wanted to do it again, so felt a bit jealous of women about to pop.

MD- Gee, i hope you're feeling better and the party goes ahead.

I've got a bit on atm, so not around as much as usual. Hope you'll all forgive me.

Lu is very excited about her birthday, she keeps opening a shoe box and looking all surprised at what she's just hidden in there. And says 'Happy birthday"........ lmao.

LOL Arte! Definitely the hormones! Well if you have my topsoil I hope you make good use of it over there Nah, he's not in a 9 yet, but nearly in an 8! His sz 7 sandals for summer wont last the distance I don't think and I only just brought them.

Oh so you've only just noticed you were RAK'ed as well MD? I'm glad that you're feeling a bit better though.

at Lu Ange!!! That's hilarious. I hope she can maintain the surprise come her birthday LOL. I was just thinking of you today too and how I hadn't *seen* you for a while - great to know you're still alive!

arte- you have no idea how much shaun the sheep i have watched. i think i can recognise every episode ever made LOL
i get super jealous of pg people. i think it's because i know i'll never be pg again...boooo hoo

ange- that's so cute about lu and her birthday surprise.

    md- that present sounds gorgeous.

Ok, well it wasn't a crazy stalker after all...but the mysterious friend is embarrassed about being thanked publicly so I'll leave it at that. You know who you are gorgeous lady, thanks!

Ange, I had that humpty cake when I turned three (and still remember it)!!! Best cake my mum ever made for me, tho one year she did this huge old lady who lived in a shoe extravanganza for my sister - but I think she popped a foofer valve or something making it cos that was the last decorative cake she *ever* made LOL

Ginger, never say never . I feel the same way about Pingu as you do about Shaun except we only have 1 DVD's worth so it's the same 6 eps over again...and again...and again! LOL How are things out on the mountain, still wet?

Thanks Jazah for asking how things are in the house, it's going quite well, it's a godsend having that caravan in the driveway. Tho poor DH is exhausted and needs a big rest & me being unwell while he cooks and cleans for everyone has not helped.

Trill I know I"m a bit embarrassed for not noticing earlier. I was prolly on post-gallbladder-ectomy drugs at the time...a pathetic excuse is better than none I guess

Anyone got exciting plans for the weekennd?

    hello girls!

you're all probably in the land of zzzzz, but hey, now i have free reign mwah ha ha ha!

    Arte: soo the hormones LOL!

Ange: i used to get so jealous of pg women and also younger babies too! i think it is the hormones...

Sherie: size 8! wow! i swear there are days when i think Leila will be in 4s forever LOL!

MD: no exciting plans here. DHs mum is having her birthday party tonight. its going to be awfully boring as her friends are all philosophers who dabble in medieval dance lol! egad.

G: ahh never say never! I was an oops baby!

Noni: hope Ashas party goes well tomorrow! i probably wont get on until later that night...so wishing you all the best!

AFM: all good here. spent the morning doing a wee bit of shopping for DD. have bought a couple of books in italian, some wall stickers for her room and a gorgeous little smock style dress for summer. of course i didnt buy anything for myself . will have to do it though as i will regret it if i come back with nothing lol!
we are enjoying the warm summer weather i must say. and the long days of sunshine...ahhh cant wait for summer back home!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHA!!!! have a great day gorgeous girl

clare- you had better buy something for yourself while you're there. let me tell you, you are not missing anything weather-wise while you're there. it is 10degrees and pouring bucketloads. they are predicting a massive hail storm for this arvo when the grandfinal is on and the temp will drop to 5degrees....

md-glad you found out who your lovely present was from. it sounds so gorgeous. what does your dh think of all the people that love you from cyber-space? is he impressed that you've made an impression on so many people? i would be what's the latest on the status of the party?

oz- i'm so excited to see your birth announcement. have you guys got the name 100% sorted?

trill- i bought lewis a new pair of shoes this week and i had to get size 9! so A has got a big-footed friend LOL they are a little too big but the 8's were way too tight.

AFM- Ange and i met up at a diiferent playcentre yeaterday and the kids had lots of fun. jimmy had a big sleep while we were there so didn't get to spend much time with his gorgeous girlfriend Sas, so we''ll have to meet up again soon to keep the matchmaking happening i think LOL

G that weather is crazy!!! It isn't as warm here as it has been but it is no where near 5 degrees. We have a definite name for a boy (I think) and 2 for a girl, picking girls names is so much harder.

Clare-i am so jealous i can hardly bring myself to read your posts! Man i wish i was there eating and shopping too!!!

MD- It took me 3 nights make humpty. A lot of effort for a cake with no party. lmao. But he looks COOL.

Yep, i can confirm that Gingers little L has good sized feet, i can also confirm that his new shoes are ACE! Electric blue, i want some for me!!!

Katie- I'm getting pretty excited to hear your BA too. I know i commented on FB, but that is seriously the coolest family pic i've ever seen. We're coming to the goldie one day just to get that shot done! DH's feet tell a good story too, they chopped his big toe off to replace his thumb, (that he chopped off!) So i think it would be cool. I think you should call your little girl Ginger!

Trill- i too laughed at the dust storm in the city. Thanks for thinking of me. xx

    AND...... Happy birthday little ASHA!

    Off to make the wall.
