William Robert, born 21/10/09 via emergency c-section. I'm still recovering myself (slow and steady I say)
Born @ 6:56am, 3.18kg (don't know pounds and such), as I said before, emergency c-section due to fetal distress + mec liquor (which I was told was he'd eaten his own poo) - Apgar score 1m : 8 + 5 min : 9
Length : 49cm, HC : 35cm
I'm breastfeeding here, with alot of pain, but he's a good feeder (thank goodness, after a late entry from the milk supply) and also trying him on EBM, though he's got some oral thrush atm which I think might be affecting him pretty badly with the bottle feeding.
We got home 26th October 2009 and I'm only now starting to venture around the house. Got plenty of photos on Facebook - and will put more up when DH goes back to work
Hey Liz :: william was about 7lbs 1oz I didn't realise he was such a tiny tiny boo , it gets better the sleeping and feeding you just need to forget everything else housework, as long as you are eating, drinking lots of water and sleeping when you can everything else can wait
hello ladies,
i know its been a fair while since i posted, didnt realise either that we'd started a new thread,
Im just outside the date for this thread but i know and love all you ladies lots so im not going anywhere.
Ive had a tough time with BFing, i got an infection in my boobs and my nipples were SOO torn up and bleeding i was in tears every time i fed. i got some nipple protectors which has helped a great deal, my nipples are still healing its soo hard when im feeding so often, when im home i try to walk around with no shirt on to let them breath and heal but then i find as i get fuller or if she starts cryinh i start dripping everywhere lol. but im hanging in there, its not easy tho.
Shades i cant believe ur still UTD, how far over due are you now? will u be induced if he goes much further, my fingers are crossed for you, im sending you crazy labour vibes xxx
is there any one else still growing their babies?
anyway little miss will be up soon, better get myself organised xxx
I feel guilty posting my brag, but OMG I have the best newborn sleeper, he is generally down for the night around 9.30pm wakes between 1-2am then again at between 5-6am and back to bed till 8-9am Jack was the same except with Jack we had to wake him every 3-4hrs and coax him to feed...
Thats great Rach! Brag on! Id be bragging about that too
Lucy wakes every 3hrs for her feeds and is only awake all night if she has a sore belly, last night But it s all the fun of it, I guess
Im loving being a mummy of 2! Feels like the puzzel is more 'complete'
Anybody else feel like me about your feelings for the new bubby, I love her just as much as I love Annabelle and just as intense but I dont know her yet? Kwim???
hello ladies,
well my brag is that my baby is too a good sleeper and feeder, i dont need to wake her to feed, she just lets me know, its usually around 3-4 hours anyway, and she's not much of a cryer, only when she's letting me know she needs something.
Unlike my nephew in law ( i think he is) he's a screamer, apparently all he does is cry, my MIL likes to brag about her grand baby being so good, i tell her not to brag too much coz it might jinx me lol.
my vent is how much trouble iv had breast feeding, my boobs are still really sore but its the best thing for Alissa so i shall perseveer (sp? haha)
anyway i just put her down to sleep so im gonna go to bed too hehe
night all xxx
Stevie Luke is like that rarely cries, even in hosp the midwives/nurses commented how he didn;t let out those piecing newborn cries except at birth and when he had his heel thing
when Jack was a bub we were concerned how little he cried even now he isn't a big crier you know he is hurt if he actually cries, it took about 6mths before we realised he was just a quiet relaxed baby at least this time we know its normal
This lil man is just driving me insane today! He went down at 1am *sighs* and got up at 6:30am for a feed.. He's had an hour of sleep and since then, every time he just falls asleep and I do too, he starts crying! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear, I'm feeling so alone right now
